Been keeping busy and working on getting some costume contests I'm in charge of finished up. I was short on cash and unable to send out the prizes, so am taking care of it all tonight. Ok, not really. ; P

So, quick update. Back from Anime Banzai!

Teca and I went and just wanted a con to ourselves. We went to see people we've known over the years and not really hung out with as of late, or in Nebulosity's case, meet for the first time! :D In general, the con was little, disorganized, and at times, boring. We decided if we go back next year we want to be more involved than we were and, if possible, have a Kageshien performance there in the future.

Overall, it was nice to get away from it all, meet and see new and old friends, and lastly, XD we competed with Kefka and Esper Terra and won Best in Show for Craftsmanship and Presentation. Below, is our performance that Nebulosity recorded while being our handler. XD

Just discovered after my trip to the Florida Keys that my mom has been diagnosed with diabetes. : / She's doing pretty well, all things considering. She's made a lot of changes in the last year to her life and was told to continue going down that path and things shouldn't worsen.

My nerve problems have been getting better. It is definitely connected to my anger levels, so I've been a cool cucumber as of late. :D Nothing's getting to me as much as I would let it anymore.

Work is going decent; we're having continuing probles with a few cashiers that's getting handled today by the GM of the company. I'm curious to see what's going to happen.

Not much going on right now, except a troll harrassing me. I've reported the person. I don't care if you criticize my costumes, but passing judgements on me based off a single image is asinine. And they said some extremely hateful stuff that I'm sick of hearing or trying to dissuade them from saying, so hopefully my report will go through and that'll be dealt with.

Rydia progress is coming along great! The corset is finished, the main bodysuit done, some of the decor done, and am currently working on hand-dyeing the wig. :D Busy!

Along with Advent Children Tifa. I purchased her online from a fellow cosplayer selling her costumes and I couldn't resist. <3 I'm excited to wear her!

However, website stuff and such may be taking awhile. My computer DEMANDED the Windows Service Pack 3 update... which allowed it to pretty much commit suicide. I'm reinstalling everything now, but lost a lot of website data. I guess, all things considering, I didn't lose too much. It's still a pain in the ass to reinstall everything.

On the HAHA front, my car just had about... $900 worth of damage fixed. Hopefully that'll be it for the poor thing for awhile. It was minor stuff that led up to costing a lot, but needed to be done.

On the not so funny front, my kidneys have been having a lot issues leading to UTIs. On top of this, I've been losing a lot of weight instead of gaining it, so I've had to readjust my diet to btter take care of myself. I've been feeling better for the most part, but am now displaying some neurological issues that are now on the list to check out. I'm hoping it's nothing serious and possibly could be something linked to a virus I received as a child that caused nerve damage in various parts of my body.

We'll see. I'm not letting all of this get me down, though. Too much to do!

I have two Lolita designs to draw yet, one for a friend and one for myself. However, as I can't cosplay it soon, I may hold on mine and get hers done so she can make it after she settles into her new house... of which I want to steal.

Nothing makes you feel buff like carrying a toddler bed up two flights of stairs. ^.^

I also have gift arts I've promised that I need to get done.. and then there's that damned Sith Witch design I need to finally shell out. Lina, I don't wanna draw the tattoos on your body though.. ;.;

And Kaede... I want my skirt back! X D We can hang out and be dumbasses! WHEE!

Anyway! Happy to report I've decided to sell some artwork at the next Nan Desu Kan here in Colorado! Yatta! Hopefully I can get some prints done while I work on some cosplay outfits. I think I have fewer than last year, but it changes. A LOT.
