I can't say I really knew him, but nonetheless, he inspired me that despite his battle with cancer, he overcame it and did what needed to be done, if it was running his company, doing covers or comic pages, he never missed his mark. I've met him once, last year at Wizard World Tour Philly 2007, I didn't care about getting an autograph, or a signed sketch. I wanted to shake the hand of the man who showed me that whatever you set your mind to and you don't sway from your ultimate goal, never giving up, ever moving forward, and not be a dick. I salute you Michael Lane Turner, may you rest in peace.
