1.) I still love you so much that it hurts.

Seven wierd things about me, because seven is cooler than six.

1.) I'm still not used to how small I am in the upper half of my body.

2.) I'm terrified of mirrors at night.

3.) When I was little, I thought a vampire/monster/choose your own adventure would come out of the toilet and get me when I flushed it, so I'd push the switch and dart.

4.) I will wear sandals as long as feasibly possibly into autumn/winter.

5.) I do not fear death, only pain and loss.

6.) Sometimes I wonder if I, if everything is really here as I see it. Sometimes I wonder how much is there that I cannot see.

7.) I tend to put the most pressure on the inside ball of my right foot when walking, so my shoes wear out there first.

Its been a combo of a.) drawing nothing much I'd like to upload, and b.) I'm not that sure I really want to put any art on this particular site anymore.

I'm not shutting down my account or anything, or pulling all my pics. And I have an account on Sheezyart under the same name that I've started using, so you can find some new things there.

I've just been a little unsure about DA lately. The internet more recently too. There's too many art thieves about, and they suck. (Nothing happened to me personally, but they're EVERYWHERE.)

I am soooooooooo sick of not having a scanner. I mean sure, I'll live without my tablet, love it though I do. Hell, I made my new avatar in paint with the danged touch pad. Which was fun if crazy.

but I want my regular PC back. I want to know where the hell my paints are, my t-square, ALL of it.

blah. I think the novelty of a house full of stuff is gone. I want the basement, and order to my world, back now please.

And you know what else? I need to draw more. I used to draw *constantly* in grade 9 and 10. Where'd that go?

Ugh. Maybe I shoulda just taken a year off. I still don't really know where I'm going right now. Stupid hormones. Stupid life.

I dunno. Just tired and cranky and hormonal I guess.

Sorry, didn't mean to get whiney on you, just needed to rant. The whole "Oh my god, all that work..." kinda hit me, I had to go to work, I started my curse, and just, alot of stuff culminated and I just need to get it out. I did doodle after too. It was cery.... cleansing.

THING 1.) I can do many, many things with my feet without thinking about it. Also foot related: In a period of 5 minutes, someone said I had some of the prettiest feet they'd seen, and then someone else said I had the ugliest. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

THING 2.) I have an obsession of everything having a place, and sporadically purge myself of picture/video files, and of books, clothing, and other random crap. I also *love* shelves. LOVE.

THING 3.) When I wanna draw a billion different things really bad, I wind up unable to draw anything for weeks.

THING 4.) I graze. I go through days at a time when I will walk around the house eating. Sometimes fruit, sometimes cookies, cheese, etc. I just eat.

THING 5.) My weight has moved in the past year. Not lost. Not gained. I have not grown. It has simply moved so that 1/2 my clothes don't fit. It boggles me.

SPONATANEOUS!

I have decided I need to draw more spontaneously. I was more interesting and happier when I could burp random brain farts.

In other news, here's 7 things about me that maybe you didn't know. Then again, maybe you did. Who am I to judge?

1.) I have lost weight in the past year. My pants don't fit right. I don't know where it went, it was only 8-10 lbs, but i miss my buddha belly. It kept me from being lonely at night.

2.) I am wearing Hello Kitty underwear. Red, with blue 'lastic. Like Spider-man. It makes me gleeful.

3.) I own a beast. Her name is Hickory Twix. She is brownee grey on her head and hips, with white in between and on her belly. She has a sunny tawnee bum with the same colour around her eyes. She once bit my toe.

4.) I'm an expert procrastinator. And I still get shit done.

5.) I should be in bed right now.

6.) I see pictures in words.

7.) I like to walk directly between the pet food and the detergent on my way to punch in a work. I find the smell comforting.

Just an Update

Sorry I haven't been postin' much guys. I've been ridiculously busy.

I have been drawing, but its mostly been for school. I upload some of that when I get a chance.

My life lately has been, literally; Go to school. Go to work. Come home. Eat. Do homework. Sleep. Wake up, at 6:15 twice a week, go to school, do howework.

And on Weekends; OOH! Those are EXCITING! Than I get up early; do homework, go to work. Come home, eat, homework. Go to bed. Get up, go to work.

Well, you get the idea. And if I take time to slack, I pay for it dearly.

I'm starting to get the hang of it, but yeah.

School's pretty neat though. My classmates are all pretty nice, and class is interesting, and I'm learning alot. My grades have been pretty good so far, so my work is paying off.

The ridiculously thing is, I draw to relax too.

And I really like life drawing. It took me literally about 30 seconds to get used to the fact that people were nude in front of me. Then I just didn't care. I guess that makes sense. I don't care that much about being naked myself.

I'm really confilcted right now. What do you guys think; should I bring my gallery back, or is that hypocritical? I'm thinking it is.

I think I should have a yellow avatar still, and continue supporting Jark, but I wanna support the community too.

What do you guys want? I post as much to get input from you as anything else (I'm a comment seeking whore, really I am), so I'd like to hear from you.

I joined DA because a friend made me. I love DA because of the community and support it offered. I also felt my art was protected here.

Much of my gallery will be hidden for awhile. I'll bring it back when things have settled.

Everyone go give love. She draws the most beautifully expressive things, and she doesn't get nearly the attention she desearves.

I have so many things in my head to draw, but i have to get my G1, or whatever it is first. Beh, almost there.

Strangly enough, I feel like drawing underwear. Designing some really. Go fig. Maybe I'll use my watercolours for it later.

I get paid tommorrow. Yay! ^-^ I'll prolly spend my paycheque by the 3rd, when we go to TO.

And I met a man in my line at work. We talked about the weather, and he'll probably be one of the most courageous people I'll ever meet. I won't go into why persay, but i may draw him later. I'd be blessed to have half his bravery.

First off: War of the worlds. Good good movie. And I have wierd friends. Scariest part is with people, not aliens at all. God, mob mentality is scary.

Second off: Grad, and anime convention very fun. Have decided to auction off prints and such, as opposed to being stuck in artist ally all day. I go to these things to have fun with my chum buckets, not be stuck in a bloody booth.

Third: Grad, lotsa fun. I made cry, I believe becasue I was in a dress. On the other hand, she also cried at the cuteness of a friend plus her bf sitting next to her.

Fourth: Done school. Holy crap, I'm old. and graduated with honours. Rah me. (94% in art.)

Fifth: I still owe and a few other people pics.

Going to park to celebrate canada day now with chums. Hooray for fireworks!

Just figured I should update.

I have a free subscription for the week, which unfortunately does not allow me to use search. Bah. I do like how the message centre is set up though. That's pretty cool. So's this journal thing.

Saw hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. Good movie, though a bit circular in plot (ie dances around its point, no feasable plot to follow.) But good lord, could those crazy dolphins sing.

I owe three people kiriban pics. You'll get them eventually. I have not forgotten about you, I just have a helluva lot of work at school right now. I'm swamped.

So, in review:
I owe you pics. You'll get them. Just wait till I'm in a better mood.

And has given me the first request ever. Again, she'll get it when I feel better. Or something along the lines of what she asked.

I bought two new cds (the killers and Bare Naked Ladies-stunt), when I got my Mom Jan arden's latest too, for mother's day.

I'm making an acrylic painting in happy colours for art class. Yay for art, and yay for happy colours.

I won my first contest in 's new years contest too. Quite pleased with that. Someone even requested a special category for me (Most cute). S'all very exciting.

So yeah, consider yourselves updated.

And y'know what else? I don't think I'll ever get a tabel in Artists alley, at any convention I intend to attend with friends. I got to have a good time with them, not make money. So there.

Nothing New

Nothing new, just sick of my old entry.

I didn't get a table. Unfortunately, they were all sold out. Ah well, c'est la vie. I'll do it next year when I'm more prepared.

I've got my grad dress now, so rah for that. Tis princess-ee and soft yellow. Floor length, with sparkles. Spaghetti straps. And actually fit me in the boobs. The boob thing is a biggy when you're my size.

We're doing the impressionists in art, and mixed media. Might post my Kau o chou (sp) later. It came out nicely. Toules Loutrec kicks bottom, and is definetly my fav out of the impressionists and post impressionist. I dunno, just like him. He kept alcohal in his cane. And he drew people the way he saw 'em. What's not to like?

Oh, and the Passion Play I was volunteering at in my Parish gave its first presentation today. I don't get to sing my fav verse of the song I sing. Prolly cause I'm already the girliest Peter ever, but it goes like;

Isn't that adorable? I want to incorporate it into something now.

I've become a fav whore. It's true, you all know its true. :sobs: I just can't stop. They're all so pretty or interesting or just....just THERE! AGH! *bangs head on wall*

In other news, I went to a portfolio assessment; not to get in anywhere, just to get assessed. The outcome is good. I just need to work on value, line and keep practicing. They really liked my chiaroscuro, so that was flattering. And apparently you can have a cartton or two in your portfolio, so go fig.

Also just had a fun day in general.

Health note: I got my menengitis needle at school without prompting. Go me. And interesting, if slightly disturbing note: The nurse said as she stocked me full of immunity goodness; "Doesn't hurt nearly so much as having your braces tightened, right?" She's right. So what does that make orthodontists, saddists? Must ponder this.

Work note: My store has stupid hours for students, and everyone agrees. I intend to stick it out untill it hurts my grades. It hurts my grades, I'm out.

It's just such a deliciously fantastically contagiously happy day today. My belly is full without making me feel sick, I got a new Manga, which was insanely cute . I read a bit of my book, and have almost finished it, I'm back on my drawing curve (and making an adorably happy little Bankotsu kun chibi to go with the pinky Jakotsu one), and, and yay.

I also have the house to myself for today until I work, which is fine, because i'm going to share my good mood with costumers, and the walk to work will be fun, and good exercise.

Tomorrow I think I shall buy myself "flowers and bees' form the store too, because, well, I can.

I'm done my exams, I'm in a good mood, and life is good. For the first time in a while, I'm relaxed and stress free, and life, life is scrumptious.

Got my net back. Apparently clicking block all on a virus filter is bad. ^-^;

Anyhow, yes, I have made a new character, and I adore him. Im thinking about naming him Ryonsuke, after a name in my philosophy textbook, but it might become something else. Hes from Japan a long time ago (think 1300s), and hes got big furry ears. Beyond that, hes human. Somewhere in his ancestry is a demon. He doesnt know where, nor does he care. Only other unusual aspect of him is overly thick wiry hair that sticks out all over, and an unfortunate tendency to shape shift slightly (think growing a tail, fangs/nails lengthening, or becoming very slim and effeminate looking). Hes very easygoing, though a little mischievous.

Name suggestions?
