Indeed, i just updated my gallery today, some things i doodled when i had time in school along with a nice Retcon of an old character i made. As well as a couple weapon sketches (one with a face i threw in randomly for who knows why). Not really that much, but a good update considering the tests and lack of time.

Things are starting to get better, i may be able to get back to RPing after i finish a composition, but who knows if there will be more of those test-heavy weeks coming around? I sure do hope these don't show up again, at least not now.

Anyway, on a slightly unrelated note, i'm desperate to Role-Play in GURPS, nobody seems to RP in it anymore! If there are GURPS players reading this, please send me a note if you're interested in Fantasy-Medieval RPs, or whatever RPs for that matter. I'd really like to know someone else who plays (i might search for GURPS communities as well, but the more the merrier).

And so, due to the swine flu hysteria i have the rest of this week to enjoy a break from school, unfortunately my search for good RP sessions was rather fruitless (Please feel free to send me a message if you need someone to RP with, i can fit in in most fantasy RPs and i am starting to see into the sci-fi and futuristic genre as well, but not as much as fantasy) and so i still thirst for RPs, but i can live with it. What most affected me recently i am about to unveil.

I've been playing Starfox 64 recently, and also watched a Starfox: Assault LP on youtube (to remember the times i spent with my cousin playing it, fun times). Not only am i a fan of the series, but i'm also attracted to the setting, it seems like a good start for me who has no experience in RPing on futuristic space settings, and it also appeals to me in a way.

To put it simply, i like Starfox because: minor Star Wars references + some Star Trek stuff (kinda) + anthropozoomorphism of characters ("furries"). As you can see my interest is hardly due to intellectual reasons but because of the serie's appeal. I know Star Fox does not have an impressively well-buildt, interesting and/or enlightening plot, but RPing is about fun, so i don't think that is too much of a loss.

But i am not into Starfox just because of appeal, i want to try something new, a genre different from medieval-fantasy, i wish to experiment with this futuristic setting. Make a few characters here and there. I already have a few raw ideas i'm willing to put to paper (by which i mean try and convert them into GURPS characters) and try them out. Should anyone be a Star Fox fan, or wish to teach an inexperienced RPer how to fly my Cornerian Freighter through the cold vastness of "sci-fi" settings or maybe fantasy setting, feel free to contact me via Note.

"It IS BEING great to work with all of you, the play is AWESOME! We need not to mourn the end of drama classes, damn it! We could make some acting exercises during our lunch breaks!"

Everyone laughed, showing some sort of approbation and warmth of hearth, i continued.

"So let's get out there and do what we did in the classes! Come on people! Let's break a leg!"

I was applauded, i didn't expect that, but it felt great, i wanted everyone to feel better and it seems i managed to do so. Some other people spoke, them we prepared for the play we had "written" ourselves, a collection of comedy and tragedy about Time, what it is and how we spend it. Making people think of what they do with their lives and reminding them our time here is limited.

It was a shocking success!!! Nearly nothing went wrong, a few slip-ups here and there but nothing ruinous. I could not believe the laughs, the applause!

They say the funniest part of the play was mine in a small sketch, i played a grumpy middle-aged man trying to get served in a coffee shop whilst making observations about some expressions used in this situation (such as "hold on" but expressions in Brazilian portuguese that offer many funny comments such as: "just a minute" or "one moment")

I feel too lazy to describe the whole play, but it was awesome, it was commented about even today, a day after it. Many people already congratulated me for good acting. i'm quite proud of myself, but i'm also proud of the other students, who have also put a lot of effort into their work, some even made decent sketches into epic masterpieces.

As i say: "the acting makes most of the play, not the script"

I hope i can put the skill i have gained into my RPs on forums i'm a member of.

My uncle and aunt were very busy, and did not have much time, i spent most of my time with my cousins, Gabriela and Felipe, though the latter had been a little brat more than a few times when i was there, but i don't hate him for that, he's just a child.

Anyway, i enjoyed my time there and now i'm back and it's close to the end of the school year, last week was the calm before the storm and i must press on. There is much to be done, many challenges and tasks ahead, i won't just try to do my best, ill DO my best.

I've returned from my field trip from Canada, it was great! i went to CN tower, where i bought a king size pencil (i sincerely dunno why i bought it >> I went to harborfront where i had a great experience: I met a watercolor artist! We started a conversation and we found out we have much in common, it was almost as if we were the same person but with dfferent age.

I had to put him in a room for a day so he could get used to his new home, he seems to be alright about it now, everione in my family liked him, i'm looking forward to be with Saber in the future.
