So, I switched degrees. Psychology was a bad choice for me, because as much as I enjoyed the subject in part during my previous education experience the idea of putting it into three years of a degree made me shudder with dread. The subject, when applied to a degree level standard, involves a lot of statistics and a lot of boring topics before getting anywhere close to where I'd like to be. I know that I will not work if I am not interested, and the entire subject bored me so much in the space of two weeks that I didn't even care if I turned up to any of the classes. That's a bad sign.

I decided to go for something that I love, and that I'd enjoy.

I moved into university on the 4th. Eeeee.

Since moving I've found that I've been wanting to write more, and more. I think whatever ditch I was stuck in, regarding being able to be creative, may have lifted. Or, at least, I hope so.

I've also found that I've been browsing the art that people upload here far more frequently, and I'm so glad that I have been. There are some truly talented people who I had never even seen before, and now I get to appreciate the beautiful things that they create.

I thought I should update, given that the last one was about three months ago! You may all breathe a sigh of relief (or aggrivation), for I am alive.

For those that are curious, I got BCD on my AS levels.

College starts again on the 28th of August, at which point my entire art book needs to be pretty much done. I've not even finished half of it.

I'm going for Royal Holloway and UEA as my first choice uni things. They require ABB and BBB to get into, and I'll be trying for a Psychology degree.

College is really draining at the moment. Oh, the drain. I've got a load of... words... due in that are driving me insane, on... something... to do with cues... which is all coursework based. Some huge experiment followed up by a write-up that includes references to detailed studies and such, before having to draw complicated graphs that make me want to scribble all over my face with frustration.

It was my friends birthday today, and he has just turned eighteen. He had a mini-lunch-party where we usually sit and natter, with cake and the like, and everybody was overly hyper. I think I would have been more excited had I not just been told by my oh-so-feminine friends some things that are causing quite a bit of hassle to my brain. I'll sort that out soon enough, once I'm actually able to think properly. They're not actually bad things, to be honest, but... they're think-making things. And I've already got a lot to think about. Just add it to the list, which is currently ten miles long.

On top of this I have some creep trying to make my life a living hell. It would be funny, were I kidding. You may think I'm saying creep in some -really- overdramatic way. I assure you, I'm not. I can't really go into much detail, mainly because if I do it'll involve a six page story on how the hell this came about and what's now going on, but... I just really need some space from this. I just... -really- do.

And whilst this small crap is going on? My mother decides to tell me she's actually put in for the divorced. Freakin' -sigh-.

2. I have two guitars, electric and acoustic, that I cannot play. My grandmother gave me the acoustic, which was given to her from -her- mother... and I got given the electric as a christmas present from my parents in 2005. The electric sounds awesome, it's dark metalic red and is -gorgeous-... and the acoustic sounds simply beautiful. I also keep them both in tune, just in case I ever learn to play. Which I doubt I will.

3. I was given a special Babyorb fishtank for christmas, and five fish. I got the fish on the 28th December and by January the 6th four were dead through water poisoning. I've spent a very long time building up a fake life with Kaelyn that it's begun to cause me harm in more ways than one, and it's taken me a really long time to notice. I used to think that being there would make this life easier, a distraction of sorts, but really it's just the same... with added text scrolling down my screen. I made it so she had an intense amount of knowledge on a variety of things, lots of useful skills, powerful when she needed to be... The sort of thing that -I- wanted to be, but never could.

And now? She's just a character, in some messed up game. My emotions feeding into her and her actions based entirely around how I'm feeling, which is -still- effected by people within the game and how the game is treating Kaelyn. As I said, a messed up game.

I'm not sure when Achaean life bled into this one, but it sure as hell ain't pretty.

I'm still undecided on taking up an art course, in addition to the three others I'm doing too, because of how different it is. The workload is less in the written sense but... it's very strange to have a structured way of drawing/etc. I don't know if I'll get used to it. My first topic is food. I was so happy, because the teacher got us all cakes! ...Until she took them away again, and there was sadness.

Psychology is better this year, we're learning things that are far more interesting, and my teacher is ridiculously nice. She's called Eve. Pretty name, I thought.

Computing... is... the same. I am one of two girls in a class of twenty. It's rather scary. But I am programming, and I am content.

And biology is... biology. With added water molecules. I'm getting better at understanding what stuff does now, but I still need to work on that. It's still a ridiculously hard subject for me.

And finally, my new tutor. It's in a music room, we have singers, we have a piano/drums/triangle/etc. and I have Clairy-Fairy* with me. Freakin' win.

So, overall college is better.

I've found that designing is far more enjoyable than it once was, mainly because I've actually found pretty things to design. It's fabulous, really

It's awful to think that an Order related to the wonders of Art is declining into an arrogant place full of judgement and... disgusting attitudes. Denying entry to someone who is nothing but an artist simply because of personal distaste is ridiculous. It's elitist and it's awful. I am truly, truly glad I left.

I'm working on getting the credits to buy my pet again, seeing as how I got level 80 and don't really need to get anything that could aid in lack of death. Gloves of Harvesting might be nice, but for now I am set on getting my pretty pet-thing.

So, I quit Vastar's Order. I have several reasons for doing it, but really it comes down to it not suiting either me or Kae, and we were both unhappy there. Either way, the problem is now over.

Both Lupus and Scarlatti look interesting to me. It would feel very wrong though if I ever joined Scarlatti's Order without the REAL Scarlatti ever knowing, or even meeting me. I couldn't do that, out of respect for the player behind him. Those who remain in His Order from when He was around are pure gems to Sapience. I couldn't ever intrude on that.

So, that leaves Lupus. I've always enjoyed having a female Divine being my Matron, simply because they connected with me on a higher level. Melantha always did, likewise with Valnurana, and I wasn't even in Their Orders, I was simply in the pre-Order clan. Note, Lupus is... male.

I dunno. Lupus is active, but I don't know if it's the sort of environment for me. If I could have any Divine as my Patron/Matron it would be Scarlatti, but that will never, ever happen.

It makes me a sad panda.
