So school has ended, summer has started, and with summer...comes sketching! Because I was so lax during school in updating my deviantart, I thought I would do a big summer sketching bonanza for you all~

Starting June 14th, which is tomorrow, I will be beginning a little project I'd like to call the "102 Sketches of Summer." This means that every day, until I go back to school September 26th, I will be making and posting a drawing - be it a little doodle, a colored masterpiece, a character outline, a comic page...something. This is going to be good for me, so I can keep my skills decent, and plus - you guys get to see how my art has changed! Yay!

Now that I've stated it, let's see if I can stick to it... :3

Work briefly took over my life, and so I found little to no time to draw. But I recently found time again - and so found time to update!

However, college is starting soon, and therefore I'm probably going to have even less of a fixed schedule than before... I'm definitely still going to be drawing, though, so I shall update whenever I have the time.

While I've been quite busy, I'm starting to get used to how my schedule is - which means I'll probably update more! I'll try not to let a whole month go by without an update, like what had just previously happened, haha....

I've been doing a lot of sketches from original projects, and a few silly Doctor Who ones here and there - both doodles and real pictures I put time into. I'll try to dig up a few good ones and put them up.

In other news that is also Doctor Who related, I simply can NOT wait until the finale this Saturday! It's going to be on my mind all week...

Looks like I was spot-on when I said there'd be an update every two weeks... Maybe starting in June I'll be able to update every week, but for right now, this is a perfect schedule, and I'll keep up with it!

These past weeks I've been too busy to do anything more than a little character art - perhaps soon I'll have enough free time to attempt something a little more. But hopefully you'll like what I have!

Well, let me start by introducing myself – I'm Zeemarie, and I love drawing! I've always been amazed at how a few simple pencil strokes can convey an emotion that words alone could not pinpoint, how a little sketch can make someone laugh for days on end. And while I am an amateur yet, I work every day to get better at my art – after all, practice makes perfect, doesn't it?

I usually draw cartoons, but occasionally I'll dabble in a more realistic style for special things. I also love trying out different ways of coloring and inking, but overall I like using markers to color and fineliner pens to ink.

As for what I draw? I have many original stories, and many original characters that I love to doodle... In addition, I'm a huge fan of Scrubs, Doctor Who, Maximum Ride and the Twilight book series, along with several anime shows, so a little fanart is bound to show up from time to time.

My goal is to update this page no less than once every two weeks. I draw enough to have, at the very least, a pencil sketch to put up.

Well, that's all I have to say for now. Have a look around my gallery! I hope you like what you see!
