Depressing things aside (if you can really call that depressing, lol), my friend's sweet sixteen is on Saturday. Looking forward to that.

Oh, yeah, I'm also going to Korea in December. But.. I'm not really sure if I'm going. lol It's just that my mom makes it sound like I'm DEFINITELY going there, but it hasn't really been confirmed. (lol kinda complicated) Idk, maybe it's just me who feels like it's a "maybe". But, anyway, if I do end up going, I don't know when I'll be back. I won't be able to guarantee my safe return home.

Anyway... ALKFJELHTWOEIRUE:ALKD DARKER THAN BLACK: RYUUSEI NO GEMINI IS OOOOUUUUUUUUT!!! I just finished watching the the first episode (which came out yesterday) RAW. Who cares if there are no subs?! I'll just watch it again when people actually do sub it. *A* I've watched enough anime to understand words and phrases here and there, so I think I got the gist of what happened in that episode. RALKJHELIWF:ALKJFEAWLIRU THE ACTION SCENE WAS SO AWESOME!! ;u; (Well, not the best I've ever seen, but it was good for the first ep of the series. :'D) The music was good; lol this one song kinda sounds like something you might hear in a club. I was kinda hoping that abingdon boys school would be doing the opening, but the ED song was good. A lot softer than most of their older songs. xD I wonder if they changed their style. I'm sooo totally looking forward to the rest of the second season! I'll be scheduling for my road test to get my intermediate license soon. I need to practice parallel parking with our car, though, 'cuz it's a minivan, and I have to use it for the exam. And, GAH, it's so hard to drive by the speed limit here! I was practicing for the exam, and I had to keep glancing down at the speedometer to see if I was passing the 35 mph mark. =_= All these cars were passing me, too, lolol. Sooo I think I'll probably have my license by the time I get my passport back (got it renewed). Heh, most people get so excited when they get their license, but I'm not really that excited. I mean, it's not like I have my own car to drive around in or anything, lol. Not that I don't want to get my license (-.-), but I just don't feel any excitement in it. d=

D:< All in all, it was pretty fun, and I FINALLY got to play Brawl!! 8D So I'm happy. :3 Some of my favorite characters are Sheik, Samus (Zero Suit; Samus with her suit on is really slow =\), Marth, and Ike. Ike's a bit slow for my liking, but he has pretty good attacks. x]

- I love apples. They're my favorite fruit. :3 And, no, I didn't start liking apples because of Ryuk from Death Note. D:
- I'm usually an introvert and don't like going to places like the mall (except when I go to places I like such as Gamestop or the bookstore). I talk well with friends, though.
- The only shoujo manga series that I really like are Skip Beat! (it's funny and has good art) and Vampire Knight (I love the art. 8D The story's okay.). I usually don't like reading shoujo 'cuz the plots are stupid (i.e. "I don't know anything about you, and you're not exactly all that good looking, but I love you and will do anything to protect you from harm! I love how the story unravels, and the battle system doesn't suck all that bad! xD It's like a mix of the KH and regular FF turn-based battle systems. It's pretty okay. Better than the regular turn-based. T^T I like Genesis (lawl his name is the first book of the Bible) the best. He has the coolest name and likes classic literature (even if it only exists in the game). xD LoL Heh, man, I kinda wish Sephiroth had stayed a nice person instead of becoming an evil crazy maniac who was bent on destroying the world. Geez, you'd think a guy with his intelligence and strength wouldn't become like Genesis or Angeal, but noooo. D: Uh, I won't spoil any further... if you even know what I just talked about. xD

Spring break's over, which means super happy fun time is over. D: Well, not that I really had a whole lot of fun, anyway. ._. I worked on a trebuchet project with my friends, and it turned out looking really ghetto. Like.. REALLY ghetto. Well, thanks to my debate partner's computer being broken, I got the special opportunity of making our Cross Ex(amination) affirmative speech by myself last night! GAAHHH.

Well, I helped my mom around the shop right when I got home from school until late in the evening, so that left me only so much time to work on our speech. D: I had to do some research here and there, and being the stupid, procrastinating, ADD idiot that I am, I decided to go on CrunchyRoll to check if there were any new updates on some of the anime that I'm watching; instead, I clicked on a featured video that caught my eye which happened to be a movie called "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo/The Girl Who Leaped Through Time". I got hooked and couldn't stop watching it till the end. o_o Well, at least I clicked on it AFTER I finished the speech. But it was, like, two in the morning by then, so I went to sleep at around 4. BUT THE MOVIE WAS GOOD. AND I'M AN IDIOT 'CUZ I SLEPT THROUGH PART OF SPANISH THEN BOUGHT COFFEE AND GOT 'ENERGIZED' THEN GOT SUPER SUPER TIRED AND SLEPT THROUGH CHAPEL. I heard a lot of kids slept through it, though, and that the speaker's voice was monotone. It was like I was asleep but not really asleep; like, I was subconscious and heard everything around me even though my eyes were half closed. Or were closed. I can't really remember. It kinda felt like I was drugged or something. >_> ...Not that I really know what it feels like to be drugged, but ANYWAY, I could kinda see my friend glancing towards me a lot. And I heard my other friend whisper, "Don't wake her up; just leave her alone." At the time, I was thinking, "Touch or poke me again, and I will freaking kill you," 'cuz they did that a lot. And in my crabby, subconscious state, it was getting kinda annoying. But I guess it was my fault that I was asleep. -.- *cough* Moving on, now..

Well, other than that, Valentine's Day is coming up. That Hallmark holiday full of government conspiracy.. Or so *SilentReaper puts it. xD It's been pretty busy this week helping out my mom around the shop. >w< (My parents own a flower shop.) Well, at least I'm learning the trade. Props to Ienzo for introducing it to me. xD LoL I saw this chart of Japan's top 20 anime list (or something like that) in an old Newtype magazine issue, and TTGL was in it, but I forgot about it until after I watched the whole series and reread the magazine. I didn't even care to look it up before I watched it, 'cuz I guess I was too busy thinking that Darker Than Black was better some of the other anime series listed. LoL xD (I was obsessed with DTB at the time..) And Code Geass was ranked number one. LOL. I guess I just don't look for/at series I don't know. I just look for the ones I know already; LoL I think I should stop doing that, though. Heh.

I've had a somewhat busy week. A bit more homework than usual and more events attended. I went to a concert on Friday, and then I went to my friend's birthday party today. It was really fun. We had a bunch of game systems out. xD First, we played games on the Wii (This Sonic and Mario game.. I forgot the name.), then Xbox (Halo 2), then PS2 (DDR), and finally, karaoke. LOL It was so funny when they started singing the Macarena, 'cuz it was all in Spanish, so they just kept singing, "Nanananana," and only got, "AH, MACARENA!" XDD The funniest part is that they got a 100 for that song. LOL. Well, it's pretty late, so I need to get going, so that's it for today.

EDIT: GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I JUST FINISHED WATCHING CODE GEASS. I NEED TO WATCH THE SECOND SEASON. CLIFFHANGER!! >________<

So, yeah, I was planning on getting my friends gifts, but I went broke, and now I can't get them any gifts, so I decided to bake cookies for them, but then my mom was all, "You don't have time! You need to study for exams!" So now I have nothing to give. Hooray. WELL, even if I don't give them pwesents, it's the thought that counts... right? o-o People reading this: HELL, NO! Oh, yeah, I went to the Japanese Festival (otherwise known as Japan Fest) ...*thinks* TWO SATURDAYS AGO! Dood, everything there was so overpriced. Seriously, a small, little stuffed anime animal thing for $5 and up?! >_> The tickets were a dollar each, and I only brought $10, so there was only so much that I could buy/do. -.- I went there with two of my friends, and we saw quite a few people from Otaku Fest there. xD Some of them even cosplayed, LoL. We just walked around for a while then went over the beach (which was just a short walk away). We kinda hung out around there for a while and then went back. Man, they were selling yukatas, and I wanted one so much, but I couldn't get one 'cuz they were like $50!! >___< My friend's lucky; she bought one. Her mom was with us, and there was this ATM machine there, so she withdrew money and bought one. It was really nice but kinda long. xD We couldn't stay for the whole thing. We only stayed in the afternoon from about 3-6ish (It started at 3 and ended at 10), then took the bus to Kmart, where the car was parked. xD I had to wait a while for my mom to pick me up, though, so we headed over to the toy section. xD LoL Leanne (One of my friends' names, duh) and I saw this talking Pokemon plushie, so I we tried pressing it, but it wasn't working. We were trying to find the button, and when we finally found and pressed it, we started laughing so hard, 'cuz the way it said its name was hilarious!! XDD OMG, seriously. Okay, well, it might not be so funny to other people, but it was so freaking hilarious to us. I really don't know why; it just was. XD I took a video of it with my camera and uploaded it onto my photobucket account, LoL. xD The link will be posted below.

At first, we didn't know what to do 'cuz it was held in a bar (>_>, and everyone was taking pictures, so we ended up taking pictures and just "hanging out" for an hour. -_-;; There were some finger foods (that we didn't eat much of anyway...), and then they started by opening with the Haruhi dance! xD My friend was in it! Haha. People kept thinking that I was supposed to be a part of it, though since I was cosplaying as Haruhi.. o_O' Then they did the Lucky Star dance which was pretty cool. xD
After that, they announced the contest results! First, they showed all the video game footages for the game footage contest, and then came the art contest results. =3 I got second place! x3 I was really happy, 'cuz I thought there were going to be a whole lot more drawings that were better than mine, but.... there weren't. ._. LoL I got a $50 gift certificate to the local anime shop (which hosted Otaku Fest). =] The cosplay contest results came towards the end of the whole event. This guy dressed as Cloud won. He was awesome. O_O I'm serious. He had the swords and everything. Second place went to a girl dressed up as someone from Chobits. She looked really pretty, but her ears looked like they were about to fall off. xD Third place was a girl from Rozen Maiden.
Then there were these contests: anime song contests and general knowledge from different series contests. LoL For the songs, they played like 2 or 3 seconds of the song, and you had to guess which anime it was from. They played a song from Loveless, and I raised my hand and told them the answer. Then a lot of people started shouting, "YAOI!!" which I thought was kinda... weird. (Not to mention some girls were doing that in the front when the whole thing just started.. o_O' Oh, well. At least I got a free NewType magazined. xD ...which my friend still has.. (I let her borrow it, and she hasn't returned it yet. -.-) My friend got a question right for this other question, and she got 2 movie passes to any movie playing in theaters. =]

Haaaahhhhh, it was awesome. I had a great time, and I can't wait for next year! X3 Heck, I'm even wondering about who I should cosplay as. >_> LoL. Well, in OTHER NEWS, I finished Twilight. I went to Bestseller to buy New Moon, but they didn't have it (D, so I bought Eclipse instead. My friend has New Moon, so I borrowed it from her in exchange that I would let her borrow Eclipse. I read faster than her, though, so if I read New Moon faster than her, she would have to give me back Eclipse. >:3 I finished New Moon, but it's a weekend. Scratch that, it's a FOUR DAY weekend. D: I'm not exactly patient with these kind of things... I just hope she doesn't forget to bring it on Tuesday... xP

I bought a new book called "Twilight." It's a vampire love story thing. It's pretty good. (Better than I make it sound, anyway.. LoL) I wanna read the next two books, New Moon and Eclipse.

Hmm.. I might upload some more stuff later... but for now, I'mma finish reading my book. :3
