I've uploaded some of the drawings that I've been working on as part of a long term commission that I sold on furbid. It was supposed to be a bit shorter, but I had some problems (among taking two large jobs at once when I was in school full time) that I forgot to factor in. The commissioners were super patient though and they'll be getting a lot of bonus material because of it.

I've also decided that I'll likely only do one sketchbook a year via auction; as in one where the buyer tells me what they want. All other ones that I offer online at auction will already be completed.

If anyone feels like having a proper sketchbook outside of auction, then please be prepared to pay for it. These are very time consuming so I'm going to charge what they're worth instead of what I usually charge as an opening bid at auction. Other than that, you might want to consider a single commission. That being said, I'll try to get some stuff up on furbid next week since my commissions that I have in queue are nearly done.

Meanwhile, I've been in a pretty productive mode with things lately. From art to other things. I've been working on a rotation of illustrations on my computer and I'm finishing them off bit by bit. I've been working on commissions, comics, and even leveling in my primary game at the moment.
What am I playing? Well, I'm playing Animal Crossing as of Friday, but I've been playing Pokemon Diamond off and on for...well, we'll just say a while. I usually only play it when I'm off from school or something choosing other games for when I have lesser amounts of patience. So, that being said, I've actually been leveling up to beat the Elite Four which my friends can not stop making fun of me about.
But the one thing that they haven't made fun of the newbie about is the fact that I've been breeding Piplups. I have a female Empoleon who was my starter pokemon. But I didn't know it was a rare thing until kept going on about it. So I've nearly got a box full of them and a few are girls, one of them I'm giving away, but whenever I get my router fixed, I might open up trades.
I think was right when she called me a pokemon breeder.

I didn't get a chance to post the AWA stuff before I left because I was busy working on everything and I've kind of been favoring my other account. I'll try to pay more attention to this one which is going to focus more on anthro art and anime styled stuff while is going to be for my fine art, my little pony, jewelry, and Sugar Pop Dreamland/Michelle Valentine stuff.

I'm taking the semester off for a much needed break. I didn't anticipate doing it, but it just kind of happened, so I let it. Maybe I'll go into details later.

I've been working on a comic for the school paper that I've been putting off doing for some time and I've finally gotten started on it. So, having done that, I'm going to go ahead and do what I originally intended and put it up on the web. So that should be happening by mid May. I will of course post here when it does go up.

Million Sketch Project has started officially. I'm not going to do the sketches for $1, however, they will be pretty inexpensive. $2 I realized that after the paypal fees it would really be more like 80 cents or something, so I'm doing them for two dollars for the MS Paint Sketches. $4 gets flat color and $6 gets it shaded. Colors and shading are added in photoshop.

I'm also doing different sorts of pieces, but those are going to be a bit more expensive, though not really that much more as the purpose is to get as many buyers as I can so that I can make a large amount rather than a few buyers over time for a small amount. (I'm literally trying to pay my school expenses with this money.)

But I'm uploading the information here, and on my gothicsugar account as well as posting my messenger info. If you need to contact me, I'm usually there (and even if I'm not I check it often when it's idle) and it's millionsketchproject on yahoo messenger. Also, I've been confirmed for AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta for the unknowledgable.) My table has been paid for and I'm good to go. So I look forward to seeing everyone. I'll be in the Artist's Alley since they've enlarged it. We're having our own set up like the Dealer's room minus the huge booths from what I understand, but I'm looking forward to it.

If you want to commission me ahead of time for convention pickup, now would be the time to do it because I'll also be spending a good portion of the summer when I'm not in class getting prep work done for the con. I'm not accepting precon commissions after August 15.

I'm also thinking of a clothing alternative to jeans since I'll actually be outside more than usual during the hotter months. (I usually just spend summer inside at home or take occassional trips to the park. Note to self: stock up on sunblock)

I'm not trying to incite banning or anything(because I've heard people get banned for posing questions?), but I would like to say that I place images into categories which I feel that they fit into and while it is possible that they are able to be crossed as far as categories go, I'd like them to remain where they are unless it's something that's obvious. A furry picture by definition could be deemed as a fantasy piece, a animal with human qualities. So if I take that animal, and make their human qualities exaggerated to the point that they have a human body/face with all other features being of an animalistic quality and animal coloring, aren't they still qualified to go in the anthro category? In my mind, and I'm sure the minds of others, they're still anthro's. It's not like they were spliced with humans or anything, they're just animals. Is it the face that's throwing you off? If so, let me know so I can put them in the "correct" category next time.

-I wouldn't say anything, but I think this has happened before, and somehow I could swear that I put an image in a category and it was changed, then changed again. I could be wrong though.-

A little later this month (probably around the 12th which is right after finals) I'm going to be doing a commission sketch drive in full force. I want to be able to study abroad but I can't afford it and I don't want to miss the opportunity, so you'll be able to get drawings and commissions for as low as ONE DOLLAR!!! That's right, a buck. I've bought the domain name and I'm going to post it as soon as the site's done. This is going to be an ongoing thing because I also plan to use part of the money to pay for grad school and my other college expenses, so if you like the art here or at then please, when everything is up and running, make a purchase. -I didn't want to accuse her outright because I wasn't all together sure, about it, but I also know what my packaging looks like and having been all through the con, I know that no one else had theirs like mine.
So I had to count it as a loss. >__<

The art that I uploaded this morning is old, I think I did last year sometime but I'm going to be working on presenting a comic for the school newspaper so I wanted to put some of the work online for the ease of showing it.

And I'm at work. I have a job at school which is basically a receptionist position for Campus Life. I work three days a week and go to class two days a week. Thankfully, I have the weekends free.
-I'm still open for commissions though- I've decided to start saving for grad school which I hear is quite expensive.
-I'm also hoping to study abroad this summer.

But I've got two sketchbooks that I'm working on, so when I'm done with those, I'll post a big bad commissions journal and everyone who actually wants something or likes my art enough to want a piece of their own can come and get one. If you want it in time for Christmas, I suggest you order early. I've checked and I haven't seen the Christmas mailing dates yet, so I'm going to say that you should probably just place your order before the end of the first week in December (to give me time finish and have it shipped).

According to the info that artist's were given, in relation to the dealer's room tables, we're to the right and the exit is near the tables in the 70-80 range. Somewhere near table 83/84.

I'm taking pre-orders for commissions to be picked up at the con (though you'll be cutting it close depending on what you want) as well as on the spot commissions and I'll be selling, buttons, prints, original art, fanart, charms, and bookmarks in addition to stickers and the like.

Presently, I'm on page twelve, and unlike a lot of my work on this site, there are fully (and I mean fully) rendered backgrounds.
The poses are also quite varied, and so far, I'm really satisfied with my work.

And having had that experience, I decided that I would just hold on to my laptop until after finals since I couldn't wait weeks and weeks to have it fixed. (I've got a certain class that requires a weekly paper.) Meanwhile I've been sitting on this problem since September. It literally quit before AWA and I hadn't even printed anything. (u.u)

So, all that having been said, I'm in the market for a new computer to use as a backup. I'm undecided as to the whole desktop laptop thing, but I figure that the one thing I am certain about is that it will be used primarily for art. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, I'm open to suggestions.

My current system is:
Laptop: Compaq HP Presario V5000
80GB
1.46GHz/504 MB RAM
Considering the programs I've loaded it with, it runs pretty well, and I've bought into the convenience of a laptop. But this one has so far had to have the monitor completely replaced and the next thing to be done will be the USB ports which have shut down.

It's a pretty cool commission that was asked for, and I'm hoping to finish it up by next week, but there's a large amount of shading involved, so it might be the week after.
I'm hoping the person who ordered is looking at this so she'll know about the time frame.

Meanwhile, I wore my first Lolita outfit over the weekend. I missed out on the meetups because there were other things that were happening. The Friday meetup, we were waiting on the other artists, so there wasn't really any relief for me.
And on Sunday, my ride got there before the tea party. So no loli meetups for me. Maybe next time.

But I did pretty well, I made a profit on the table and people really loved my some of buttons. I sold out of some of the designs. So I'll have more ready for Momo con.

Meanwhile, my computer's usb ports have died which are greatly affecting my ability to scan art so I'm just drawing things out right now since everything that I'd been doing was digital.

I figure that since my gallery his is an amalgamation of illustrations featuring anime and furry art, that I should make more of an effort to give my paintings a place to be seen on their own, since they aren't really in the same league as my other stuff. For one thing, it's a lot more idea driven and emotional, so I thought it best to make it separate.

So I'm working on that site as well. The domain's already been purchased, and once everything's ready, I'll be posting a link there as well.


Oh yeah, the sketchbook auction ended, thanks again to everyone who placed a bid. I'll likely do another one in July but in the meantime, keep a lookout for prints and original art and single commissions.

Okay, this is a two part journal to keep from being annoyingly long, what with the standard commission info at the bottom. (Please look it over by the way. I am still open for commissions and need the money. I like pants and socks. A sweater would be nice too.) But I’ve got new art up. Yay.

A few of the pieces that you’ll see are directly from my sketchbook and others are things for other people because in addition to taking money for art, I also take things that I would like or need. (I’m telling you I am poor.)

The part that came before this [link] was one of those long here’s a question answered type posts. I was bored okay. And I broke down and did one for the sake of not doing homework. I’ve got nearly a week off after Monday and I’m going to make the most of it. In the meantime though, I get the joyous pleasure of studying a few of the problems that I missed on my last test because this time, the entire class screwed up and not just a few of us. Lucky me.

So, as it happens, I’ll be posting a few more things over on furbid with the hopes of actually selling something. Prices are low. Very low. And there are some commissions available. And another sketchbook. But anyone who might have wanted it by Christmas time has missed out. That was the one and only chance to get one that quickly. I will not force out 30 sketches in under 30 days. Especially considering that at the moment, I’m on a 1-2 sketch every other day sort of thing. I’m not drawing as much as I’d like but I am drawing. So take that.

And for those who don’t know, auction prices are always less than my commission rates.

On a random browse, I came across this from who took it from I don’t know either of them, I was just in a browsing mood and thought I’d “borrow” it. Yeah…borrow.
Though my taking it was terribly unoriginal (my apologies), I decided to add a couple of questions to it. (anything after #20) Why am I doing this? Eh, why the heck not? I don’t see any of you trying to keep me entertained.

1)What is your deviant-name and what does it mean?
Zentora: literal translation is good tiger. Why that name? Well, I’d written a story at the age of 16 in which the main character’s name was Zentora. Coincidentally, she was a tiger. (I didn’t know any Japanese then)

2) Why did you join this site? who is now I met here at a con along with and others and she told me about this place, and here I am. But she was the main one who was all, deviantart is awesome, you can show your art, you should go.

3) What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined? Anime fandom as broad as that is. Well, I suppose if I had the money to spend on it I’d be obsessed. But I’d rather waste all my money on old toys, morbidly adorable things, and gothloli.

Here's a quick run down of what's been going on the last couple of months in the guise of the good news, bad news game.

Good news I've been losing weight.
Bad news I darn near killed myself walking downstairs 'cause my pants were falling off.
Good news I get to buy new clothes.
Bad news My poor little student budget has no allowance for that ( I could only get some pants and a jacket). I'd not realized how expensive pants can be. ( I don't shop often)-I'm one of those people who'd rather buy art supplies than silly things like food and clothing.
Good news I bought a laptop for school which has replaced my old crotchety destop that shut down and never came back in August.
Bad news My scanner wouldn't work with it.
Good news I found an all in one on sale and bought it.
Bad news The blasted scanner/copier function wouldn't work.
Good news I went to get a replacement.
Bad news I had the exact same problem. I wanted to enter ultraviolet's contest. u.u
Good news I found another all in one like the one my mom keeps bragging about, so I'm going to go get that one and get my $ back on the first.
Bad news as for that, I'll see what happens.
Good news I have a DSL connection.
Bad news I have a DSL connection. (think about it.)
Good news I get to turn in some of my assignments online.
Bad news I sometimes allow myself to get distracted easily.
Good news I actually get to talk to my friends online who have shown me some interesting chat places.
Bad news They're addictive as hell.

**Senshi Kitties: This is something I'm currently working on and I'm not sure if it will be done in time for AWA, but you never know. Basically, right now, it's just going to be a print collection of the Sailor Scouts (Sailor Moon) as cat girls. If I have the opportunity, I'll be selling the original drawings in the artshow, or at our table. Whatever isn't sold there, you'll be able to find on ebay at a later date.

So, if you're not interested in reading any of this, you can always just scroll down to the usual whatever to see what's up for auction.

Well, I've been a bit frustrated for the past few days/week or so because of a job. I've not really had a decent one for a year just scraping around with what I post at auction or sell at cons. Not really much. But I don't like talking about that sort of thing. But the thing is that I actually got a job for the summer. I was pretty excited about it, but I have to relocate because in my area that I live in (where I'd applied), both the offices were hired out and full. So I said okay.

As I've been staying at home up to this point, I told my family about it, who were immediately skeptical.
Anyway, so I was like it's okay, I'll check them out. And when I began my research, I was beginning to have doubts because calling about; I couldn't find any of the offices in my area. (Everyone at the company to whom I'd spoken had no idea of the numbers either.) I called around the necessary channels locally and couldn't even find a license for them to work here. They'd no record of the name of the company.
Then when I call the person to whom I must report, they didn't even know about me and that I was supposed to arrive. And the whole company just seems really disorganized (assuming their legitimacy isn't under question, and I don't think that I'll go now because I've been having second thoughts.

I'd actually sent them an e-mail telling them that when I was asked to respond to something about my starting date. I just can't see myself relocating for a company that's not organized enough to realize who's suppose to be where and not have the aforementioned accomodations/office ready.
It's dissapointing because I was really looking forward to having a decent job this summer with actual pay unlike the last place I worked for.

I get online and check for a couple of domains. (I've been planning on starting a site for a while, but I've finally got the money to get a domain. After years of checking and making sure it was available, someone has gotten my name. And it's been over the last couple of weeks since I checked the last time I was at the library. (Yes, I still surf here.) Anyway, that was it. I mean, it's not something I can help, but I chose to use the name Zentora because it's original, it suits me, and I've been using it since I first got online. >.> So I'll likely have to settle for a .net or something.

Well, Momo Con was really fun this year. Unlike previous cons, I really got a chance to circulate and meet new people as well as talk to some I hadn’t seen
came over to the table and sat down for a bit. (He was on staff.) Sorry I had to miss the airbrush/bodypainting panel, but one of us had to be at the table, so I asked to let me know what happened.

On Saturday I had another opportunity to sit on a panel. This one was called the Artist’s Round Table. (The first time was Techwood Con the year before Momo Con was started.)

And I made a lot of use of the elevators which I had noticed sometime Saturday afternoon. It was a good thing too because otherwise, there was a lot of running up an down stairs.

I got to finally attend a Gothic Lolita panel. ^.^ And I met and Jessica Yessin. Both of them were very nice. I got some pictures of various Gothloli outfits over the weekend for both inspiration and my collection. I’m thinking of putting together some kind of a fashion archive.
Actually, that’s how I met Matese. She was in the artist’s alley on Saturday and I really liked the outfit she was wearing so I asked for a picture.


But anyway, I just wanted to let the people who I swapped e-mails with know, if I don’t get back to you for a while, it’s only because I’m online about once a week. (I told some people, but I don’t think I had a chance to tell everyone.)

As for the full con report and I are working on them, and I think they’ll be going online (our main website) or in our next CD.

On Tuesday, which was :iconwingedvalkryie:'s birthday (Happy Birthday again!) we all went out and they surprised me with lunch and I gave her her gifts and we hung out.

Then on Wednesday came out here and after a bit of confusion, we met up and went out for pizza and watch Harry Potter. (It's my addiction.) with Mad Dragon and my strange family.
