I must be honest, I am a fan of Erin Hunter's "Warriors" series. I've read all the currently published books, and I look forward to the new story arc which releases in about two months. I'm also receiving a newsletter on the subject, which is how I learned about this:

On the Warriors Website, they have released materials for a Warriors Adventure Game. I took a quick look over the material. It's a basic tabletop RPG system like D&D. It's probably simplified for younger players, but it is, in fact, a tabletop RPG.

(What I think is funny is that they refer to the Game Master as the Narrorator...odd, ain't it?)

Edit: It doesn't even use dice. There are ability checks and the like, but its based on existing stats, not random luck. I guess it's a simpler way to play

All in all, I think it's an interesting game if you're under the age of 12. Personally, I'd prefer a more advanced system (despite the fact that I've never personally played such a game before )...

If I could make pools, I might do one for this...but I think I have few enough watchers that I can do a show of hands

Anyway...I've been thinking recently of marketing my artwork. Not that this is a new idea, but the possibility is in the near future. My brother introduced me to this place called CafePress.com. They allow people to upload images to be applied to select merchandise like cups, mouse pads, coasters, pillows, teddies, as well as banners, postcards, posters, and many other things. These items can then be sold through user shops. Basic shops are free, and they cover the cost of manufacturing (unless you get one for yourself...). You set the price yourself, and receive half of the profit from the sale. So, for instance, if it costs $10 to manufacture, and you sell it for $15, you get $2.50 per item. Now it may be a drop in the bucket, but a 25% profit off cost is better than nothing, right?

So, having said this, if I do pursue this, I'm wondering what you would like to see me make. I was thinking of making a line of greeting cards, but I could do other things if you have suggestions.

In case you didn't get the hint, I went to see 9. Not 4, 3, 7, or 42...just 9. Although, 42 does have that twisted appeal since Douglas Adams got his crazy hands on it. But, I digress...

I don't often do movie reviews. Heck, I think this is the first written one I've done. I'll try not to spoil anything important so other people can enjoy this movie as well.

The story of 9 is about a group of 9 rag-doll constructs, each made with different materials. "9" himself wakes up in a world devoid of life, as we know it. He knows nothing of what has happened before, or what is going on now. There are questions on his mind like: what happened here? Who is that? What does this do? You know, the kind of questions that get people into trouble. In fact, the whole movie is a series of questions and mysteries that progressively receive answers as the story unfolds (Which is common in all kinds of movies, I know...)

Overall, it was an enjoyable movie, I think. There could have been more character development on some, as I heard one patron explain to another, but I think it may have been worth the 10 bucks I spent on it. Though, it should have been 9, like the movie is 9, and the protagonist is 9, and the release date was in the month of 9, on the day of 9, in the year of 9, in auditorium 9, with a youngest viewer of 9...for a PG-13 movie...go figure.

A dual between Cloud Strife and Inuyasha. Both are capable fighters with buster swords (Yes, I am considering the Tetsusaiga a Buster Sword). Clouds weapon can separate into five distinct weapons, which means two weapon fighting is something Cloud is capable of. And though Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga can only transform from a Katana to a Buster Sword, After it's transformation, Inuyasha can unleash powerful energy bursts from his weapon.

I recently watched The Fox and the Hound 2, put out by Disney. And, although, the animation was good, along with the slapstick humor and other jokes, and the story itself was interesting (if not stale and a bit overused)...I can't help but realize that it's so far removed from the previous movie...which was even more distant from the original book by Daniel Mannix. It's just one of those things that even Disney can't get right taking the approach they did.

A better approach might have been carrying on the tale they started, instead of sticking something in the middle of the older movie. I mean, the Tod in the book had pups of his own (two litters that were mentioned), and since Copper in the book was never friends with Tod, he did go out to the forest many times with his master, if not to pursue Tod himself, thaen to do regular trapping, or tracking.

*Sighes* But, it's one of the plights of movie makers...they don't see that a book is usually best left as it is, and it doesn't have to be totally rewritten just to sell it to a certain crowd.

I DO remember alot of this...
Born end of '84

If you grew up in the 90's you've gotta read this:
Anybody under the age of 13 should not read this,...and if you do, you should not repost this. Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.
It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.

You're a 90's kid if:

You remember watching Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain, and Two Stupid Dogs.

AAAAAAAH real monsters.

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "SIKE!"

You just cant resist finishing this... "Iiiiiiin west philladelphia born and raised..."

You remember TGIF on ABC. Step by Step, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, and Boy Meets World.

You remember when, 2Pac and Selena died.

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.

You remember reading "Goosebumps."

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books.

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence...Not...

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record "Your FAVORITE song of ALL time."

Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?

Captain Planet. He's a Hero.

You remember when super nintendo's and Sega Genisis became popular.

You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos... but never taped anything funny.

You remember watching home alone 1, 2 , and 3........and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders."

You remember watching The Magic School Bus, Wishbone, and Reading Rainbow on PBS.

When you were grown up when you turned 7, cuz you could watch are you afraid of the dark because it was tvY7!

You remember those Where's Waldo books.

You remember when Mortal Kombat Was "Da Bomb"!

You remember eating Warheads.(those sour candys.)

You remember watching the 1st Batman, Aladdin, Ninja Turtles, and 3 Ninjas movies.

You remember Ring Pops.
You know how you can often get a piece of music stuck in your head? Sometimes a chorus, or a verse, or just a certain riff or something? Well, have you ever had a word stuck in your head?

I've had the word Monosyliblic stuck in my head all afternoon, ever since I read these encyclopedia articles on wild candids (part of a personal research project). It had to do with some of the vocalizations these canines use, but I've had that one word played in my head almost constantly since I read the articles. But it's not the same every time. Somehow, my mind plays around with the pronounciation of the word, as if it's studying it from every angle. I find it baffling.

It's still in my head now...

A fun conteplative subject has arisen: Who would win in a fight between the AS7-D Atlas (original configuration) and the NX-78 Prototype Gundam. Here's their specs from what I've learned:

"RX-78-2 'GUNDAM' E.F.S.F. PROTOTYPE CLOSE-COMBAT MOBILE SUIT"
Model No. RX-78-2
Height: 18.0m
Weight: 60.0t
Generator output: 1380kw
Thruster output: 55500kg
Material: luna-titanium alloy
Armoments:
Beam rifle
Beam saber
60mm VULCAN cannon

"AS7-D 'Atlas' Davion variant 3025 Assault Mech"
Tech Base: Inner Sphere, level 1
Mass: 100 Ton, standard structure
Configuration: Biped
Height: 17.0m
Engine: Vlar 300 standard
Cruising speed: 32.4 kph
Max Speed: 54.0 kph
Armorment:
4 Med Lasers (L-Arm, R-Arm, 2 CT-Rear)
1 SRM 6 (LT)
1 LRM 20 (LT)
1 AC20 (RT)

Now, the Atlas is the feared powerhouse of Battletech, despite the fact that half its firepower is effective only within around 270m at most. However, it's LRM racks can fire upon targets at a much farther range (closing in at 1000m). The fact that this Mech is 40t hevier than it's prospective opponent doesn't help. However, it has the thickest possible armor available for any battlemech, which means it can withstand quite a beating before it falls...so long as it isn't chopped in half by the beam saber.

The Gundam, as protrayed in the TV series, is highly manuverable, especially when weilding it's ultimate short range weapon: The beam saber. Come to think of it, the Gundam's beam riffle was fairly powerful too, but it wasn't effective at short range. There's no information on the Gundam's armor, except that it was effective against Zeon weapons at the time of its deployment.

In any case, I leave this out there for anyone who wants to speculate. But, please, tell me who you think will win
