Le gasp! According to my profile, I just became 2 years older today, a jump from 18 to 20. I really need to update that thing more often. Or maybe they should have an automatic age calculator that uses your birthday to figure it out, that way I could go half a dozen years before thinking I need to do something.

So....as per the norm, I know nobody really reads these things, but feel obligated to put something up, a feeling that extends in part to submit a piece of writing (wow...you know it's been awhile when you need to stop and think for several seconds to remember that it's called submitting something). Let's take a look..my last journal was over half a year ago....what has happened since then the journal specters are begging to hear, I'm sure. Well, I shall answer you.

First I travelled around the world in 30 days, sampling all the foods available, then I took up fencing and was approached by mystical princess and went on a daring quest to save the royal family of Sarlic, a country that resides in the world between ours and that of the flesh eating zombies which became important later, from the evil iron skinned horlik named Frank (which was nothing more than a regular horlik that wore some poorly crafted iron armor). In an anticlimactic battle I slew him using my fencing abilities that I had recently learned, saving the royal family in the process. After things were back to their normal, things went back to screwed up when the zombies from that other reality burst through the thin veils seperating their reality from the one of Sarlic, and they began eating all the inhabitants. I then found myself trapped inside a shopping mall with a rag tag group of untrusty individuals with shady backgrounds, all of us with enough firepower to make George Bush salivate. Long story short, we killed all of them and things went back to normal again. The king and queen declared that under their laws, anybody who saved their world/kingdom once would recieve a thousand pounds of solid gold, anyone who did it twice recieved their daughters as sex slaves and anyone who did it a third time was executed. Needless to say, when the Martians from planet Harbinger arrived and started vaporizing people, I gathered up my gold and my sex slaves and left. Once I got back to our reality I discovered that my evil clone had taken my place and had planned to destroy the world, but he got so caught up in World of Warcraft that he forgot there even was a world outside of Azeroth, last I checked he was trying to find a way to create a potion that would turn all pets and minions upon their owners. I wish him luck and began taking all the dividends from his stock portfolio as a form of rent. I tried tellig him this but he just asked if dividends were usable alchemy ingredients, when I said no, he told me to get lost. Then some protestors came and complained about how I had sex slaves and that no human should be subjected to such a fate. I was about to tell them I got them in a perfectly legal manner, but before I could everything went black. The next thing I remembered was getting up off the floor with a splitting headache and my slaves missing. I then went to a bar to try and drink away my sorrows and the physical pain (hated the taste still, but thought of it as kinda like medicine, so I managed)where I met this beautiful woman. We swiftly fell in love and spent a lot of time together. We even got married. One day I came home and found my wife dead...murdered, with a note saying "RAWRAGHEEAWAAHGH!" It became dreadfully obvious to me. The zombies I had killed in Sarlic had found their way back to my reality, learned the art of ninjitsu and wanted revenge. That's the problem with the undead, they don't stay dead! So I trained in the arts of ninjitsu, karate, judo, ballet, creation of culianary delights and hopscotch. I fought them again, and I took my revenge upon them for the revenge they had done upon me. A climactic battle involving pink tu-tu's and numbered squares on the ground commenced. It was a long fight, but eventually I came out on top when I beat Iron Chef Zombie! I grieved for my dead love and then went back to university.

WARNING: EVENTS OF THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS MAY NOT BE EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

Well, I figured I would add the webcomics I read to this list as I go along, rather than wait a few months before doing it all over again. The new ones are at the end.

DMFA, The Dreamland Chronicles, Namir Deiter, You Say It First, Coming Up Violet, Kevin and Kell, Roomies, Gene Catlow, Las Lindas, Purgatory Tower, Freefall, Code Name Hunter, Carry On, Deer Me, Concession, Carpe Diem, Tales From the Mynarski Forest, Catharsis, VG Cats, 21 Century Fox, Cross Time Cafe, The Suburban Jungle, Just Another Webcomic, Alien Dice, Misfile, Ctrl Alt Del, Sluggy Freelance, Looking For Group, Legostar Galactica, Errant Story, 8-bit Theatre, Galactic Hub Sereven/Cosmic Dash (from Studio Blublog), Spiky Haired Dragon Worthless Knight, Ansem Retort, The Awakened, No Need For Bushido, Megatokyo, Slightly Damned, Spare Parts, Weregeek, Castlevania RPG, I Drew This (changed to a blog called Bird Brains), A Wish For Wings, How I See It, Holy Bibble, Home on the Strange, Evil Inc., Grim Tales From Down Below, Penny Arcade, Mechagical Girl Lisa A.N.T., Nemesis, Candi, Dela the Hooda, Lang Lang, Lackadaisy Cats, Cascade Failure, Treasure Hunters, Boomer Express, Luciefer, Leon and Kay (sorta), Freighter Tales, Gaming Guardians, Staccato, Power Puff Girls Doujinshi, RPG World, Blue Crash Kit, Hellbound, Elf Only Inn, Adventurers, Fur Will Fly.

New: Last Resort, Parallel Dimentia

In case you're wondering and are too lazy to count, that's 72 comics there. The list of to read comics has grown as well, it's up to 16. Sooner or later I'm going to have to stop adding, either that or it's going to consume me. It's not yet at that point though, so add I shall.

Onto other things now. Well, other thing anyway. Have you ever heard the story about how difficult it is to get by without the "e" key? Well, for a while I had to go without the "a" and "d" keys. They seem to be alright now at least. Hopefully it was a one time thing.

Time for another of these journal updates. I don't really have much to say right now, but since I realize I read these things more often than anyone else does, I think I shall leave myself a list of webcomics I currently read. Having it on here will be a nice and convienient place to store it that won't get buggered if something happens to my computer. So, here it is:

DMFA, The Dreamland Chronicles, Namir Deiter, You Say It First, Coming Up Violet, Kevin and Kell, Roomies, Gene Catlow, Las Lindas, Purgatory Tower, Freefall, Code Name Hunter, Carry On, Deer Me, Concession, Carpe Diem, Tales From the Mynarski Forest, Catharsis, VG Cats, 21 Century Fox, Cross Time Cafe, The Suburban Jungle, Just Another Webcomic, Alien Dice, Misfile, Ctrl Alt Del, Sluggy Freelance, Looking For Group, Legostar Galactica, Errant Story, 8-bit Theatre, Galactic Hub Sereven/Cosmic Dash (from Studio Blublog), Spiky Haired Dragon Worthless Knight, Ansem Retort, The Awakened, No Need For Bushido, Megatokyo, Slightly Damned, Spare Parts, Weregeek, Castlevania RPG, I Drew This (changed to a blog called Bird Brains), A Wish For Wings, How I See It, Holy Bibble, Home on the Strange, Evil Inc., Grim Tales From Down Below, Penny Arcade, Mechagical Girl Lisa A.N.T., Nemesis, Candi, Dela the Hooda, Lang Lang, Lackadaisy Cats, Cascade Failure, Treasure Hunters, Boomer Express, Luciefer, Leon and Kay (sorta), Freighter Tales, Gaming Guardians, Staccato, Power Puff Girls Doujinshi, RPG World, Blue Crash Kit, Hellbound, Elf Only Inn, Adventurers, Fur Will Fly.

Then there are 12 more on the "to read" list. Wow, that list seems much longer when I'm typing it up than it appears when I just look at it.

Time for another update that nobody reads, other than myself from time to time.

I am now attending the University of Alberta and am a Drama major in the faculty of arts. I intend to try out for the BFA Acting program, it is claimed that it's the best acting program in Canada, and as a result is very hard to get into. Only 12 people are allowed in every year, 6 male, 6 female. Since I am male, I have somewhat of an advantage from the start, as a larger percentage of those auditioning to get in are girls. This does not mean that I am guaranteed a spot, but it is nice.

I haven't seen very many people I know from highschool on campus, and wonder to myself if they're even attending. The only ones I've actually seen are Sean and Christie, two people I never really thought I'd be seeing there, and the two I thought I would see, I haven't.

I auditioned for a part in a play last week, I didn't get a part, but that's not too horribly surprising. First year students tend not to. I'm not being deterred though, I have another audition to do on Thursday. Wish me luck phantoms of my DA page, I'm gonna need it.

On another note....I'm a little sick. Just a bit of a cold, but it's enough to prevent me from being overly joyful. Well....I'm gonna go now, farewell phantoms.

Well, I've finally done it. I've actually sent in an application to the U of A (I'm guessing the only people still reading these things[if even he is still reading them] knows what that stands for). I have yet to send in the transcripts, but I've still applied. It took me long enough, and I'm surprised it didn't take longer. Now I've got to pay that application fee, as well as fees for the transcript I will eventually send them.

I noticed something unusual when putting in my marks, 3 out of 4 core course 30 lv marks were at 88%. What are the odds? The other one was a measly 79%, it made me think I should've retaken that math course to try and boost it over 80. Oh well, too late now, at least my calculus mark should help alleviate the pain (it's currently at 95%, + or - 2%).

I've been brooding over what faculty to enroll in, and what courses to take for awhile now. It would be a decision that would shape the entire course my life takes. I was worried about job availability, money, whether or not I enjoyed it or not, whether I would do well or not....The main battle had been between the faculty of arts, and the faculty of science. The rational part of me screamed the sciences, as one may expect. But, could I imagine my life without going into drama? I loved drama more than biology. There are more jobs and job security in biology. There's the chance, however small, that I could make it big in drama. There's thoughts of what other people would think. If I went into the arts, many people would say what a waste of a mind. If I went into the arts, just as many would say what a waste of talent. In the end, against my rational mind, I chose to apply to the faculty of arts. I kind of compromised though, I have a minor in Biological sciences, but if I can get into the BFA Acting, that would disappear, and nothing will stop me from trying.....I hope I won't go through the rest of my life regretting my choice, but I do know something. No matter what choice I had made, I would forever ask myself that damned question; What if?

Well, it's been awhile, hasn't it? It's not that I haven't had anything to say, it's just that I've not really had anyone to say it to. Nobody really pays attention to me on here, and who can blame em, I don't do anything on here anymore. Oh well, moving on.

I shall sum up the highlights of these last few months.
1) Performed in the musical "Oliver!", it was a great success.
2) Got no writing done at all, or so little that there's no point in putting it up here.
3)Drawn occasionally, never expecting to get good due to a lack of patience and/or time, but mostly the patience.
4)Learned some html.
5)Bought and played Guild Wars, quit after about a month.
6)Bought and play World of Warcraft (I'm a gnome!)
7)Been bored out of my mind from time to time.
8) Been forced to take my learners test (passed, no big deal)(beat it first try when my bro had to make 3 or 4 attempts, priceless)
9)Looked into post secondary education, still know very little, need to send an email with a list of questions.
10) Went to see David Copperfield (in literally the worst seats in the house, nose bleed section, back row[right up against the wall])
11)Lost weight
12)Went to my nephew's and neices's b-day party (a month apart)
13)Looked at one of my bro's writings, gave some of my thoughts on them. (he was developing magic for his fantasy world, it was somewhat complicated and scary.....any true master of any form of magic in that world could kill you in ways you never thought imaginable)

Yeah, that'll do for the update. Not much else to say right now.....guess I'm in a new musical now, I can mention that. It's called "City of Angels" or something along those lines. Till next time, goodbye.

Yeah, that sounds to be good enough for now.

Hello to the one or two people who will actually look at this. I have no overpowering reason for putting anything here, mostly because I believe the only one to look in my journal would be toasterpip, and he learns of what I'd probably put here in person. Oh well.

The musical I'm performing in is only 1 month away, December 11 and 12. Performing in "Oliver" as Mr. Bumble. Only mentioning this because I noticed I didn't mention it in my last oh so grumbly entry (it all turned out alright from the last entry).

Decided I'm tired of only seeing deviations waiting to be looked at when Toaster Pip put them up, so I am now watching a few somewhat random deviants.

Today I spent over 10 hours playing Final Fantasy 12, and I've learned the startling difference in difficulty between marks from hunts, vs boss battles. Bosses can't hold up a candle to marks. With the exception of the very first mark (a very easy one to introduce you to hunts), I've been either nearly killed off or completely obliterated by each mark I've attempted to kill. Usually when they nearly kill me, the only reason I survive is because I take the cowards way out and flee for my very life. I've also learned with the last mark (Wyvern King I believe) how quickening abilities are my best friend, as long as I have a few ethers so that I can use them multiple times. I've also learned how much I hate guest party members when you're trying to poach an enemy (an ability that can only be used when the enemy is in the HP critical zone, it essentially turns them into an item), I couldn't stop my guest from killing my targets. It can even complicate stealing from enemies with little HP.

I feel a little stressed out recently, mostly because of work. I've run into a problem that some people would love to have, I've practically become necessary for the business to run, and I'm only a lowly kitchen worker....there are currently only 2 people (not including supervisors) whom know how and are allowed to cook for customers, and I'm one of them. They want me to work everyday I possibly can, which included the last long weekend and the one coming up next (Canadian Thanksgiving). This means I can't spend quality time with the family on Thanksgiving, not unusual for me though. The problem actually occurs with the fact that every Thanksgiving weekend, my dad takes me out to haul wood for his girlfriend's parents. My boss demands that I work monday, I'm supposed to haul wood for my dad on monday......Unfortunately, I'm either too nice or just a pushover....I can't tell my boss to shove it, I really don't want to risk angering my father by saying I can't help.
Next, I have to have an entire script for a musical memorized within a week, including the music. My mother's boyfriend is angry because I'm taking too much of my mother's time (she has to drive me to and from work). He'll be angry if I don't have a job as well. Now he's making me memorize the driving manual so I get my license, and I'm supposed to take the test in a week.......

I was hoping my brother might help me, he likes drawing the maps, but I think I should do it myself, afterall, it's my creation, my world..... I have plenty of ideas, but I keep saying I want the basic map first before I go much farther with the story......
Oh boy....trying to write a series isn't easy...... I guess I should stop complaining, actually do it.....I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't like doing it, but complaining is fun.
