Yesterday for example I only had 1 hour sleep, for we had some harsh emergencies such us bleeding previous placentae, complicated ectopyc pregnancy, inmature ovular membrane ruptures (24 weeks) etc.

So yeah I'm about to turn 23 years old within the next our... bday is meant to be Dec 6th, same day with my Granny's bday. Yesterday I was given a bday present at my Emergency Shift: My first caeserean... It feels quite exciting to cut the belly and see every tissue layer open and then put them back on their place once you've extracted the fetus.

Right now I'm at my house, on a visit, since I've been granted a day-off for my bday (this sunday). Might take chance of it to upload some stuff.

As for other things in my life... well love is going somewhat better, still hard to get her do things as I'd like... health is fine, except for the fact that I'm lacking vitamines and my stress is causing me some wounds on my lip sidelines, similar to a glasgow smile (liek the Joker )

Here I am, listening ES Posthumus, taking a short break from cleaning patient's wounds on the IM ward (mostly ulcers). Bit tired as my parther and I deal with +20-30 patients per day, everyday; nevertheless I felt like writing this journal to let people know that I'm alive I survived the AH1N1 infection, mostly cuz it wasn't the real disease (PCR went negative), so I'm still exposed with all the cases that arrive (last 3 were a severe asmatic girl, a pregnant woman and now a cardiopathic patient).

Love doesn't go well.. many troubling things to mention... she's a bit difficult, but it is ultimately a secondary directive as it is for her.

Anyway art continues, slowly but it does keep going. I'm advancing with some colored versions for some artworks I've posted, as well as drawing new artworks or completing old ones.

Good thing its saturday, tonight I'm gathering with some friends to watch a film... Ice Age 3 on DVD... I hope they'll come.

4 days I've been with throat sore, er mucus, otalgia and some other upper airway symptoms. It's been 2 days with 38.8-39ºC Fever (not so sure what's that like on Farenheit degrees).

Still I keep working... exposed to all other non viral threats on the Service of Internal Medicine at this hospital I'm working at I hope this won't go worse.

June should be my chance.

Right now things seem to have settle down a bit... no patients for now, which is a good thing so I may rest a bit; after all, I'm doing an inter-daily ED shift and still means getting up early tomorrow to attend the Surgery Main Ward (I'm at the Emergency Department one) before the Assistant MD checks on the patients before 08:00h.

So i wanted to greet you all and announce that even though I'm busy here I keep doing my artistic stuff in here and keep drawing dettailed stuff, got a lot to be scanned next time I got to Trujillo, which will be this saturday by afternoon. Still not sure If I'll upload it.

I see dA is getting a cooler interfase everytime I get to visit it, which is nice.

Now I've just started Surgery as my 2nd Unit, I'm on my 1st Shift already but since there are no patients atm I'm Using the PC at the General Medicine room.

I attended to Chiclayo to perform an important exam, a competition as well. It was a contest:win a place on the 39 spots on the "ESSALUD" (The Peruvian Private Health Service) hospitals of the northern region of my country.

I passed, place 38 from 250 contestants (other medicine students as well); I heard 50 were excluded due to irregularities.

Well the "hero" thing came since I was the only one from my university to win a spot in ESSALUD... did I mention ESSALUD pays to their interns? I'll be earning my money for the 1st time, pretty exciting.

Ohh yeah, today I also witnessed how the university grades can affect you on stuff like this. See my grade was 13.05/20, 30% was supposed to be my university grade (14.5) the other 70% was meant to be the result of the exam; doing some maths... if im correct I did nearly 70 questions correctly out of 100 (13.85 aprox)... It is known that my university qualifies its students with average grades (even to its finest ones -like me) while others give higher ones to their students.

Oh well, anyway im excited.. I passed. I heard a friend of mine was the only one from our university to be accepted in Lima, rank 115/800 contestants... he couldve had higher, he's a great student too, but the university grade lowered his rank by 2.5 points.

Anyway this was quite a good day for me.

]]> ~ZethHolyblade http://ZethHolyblade.deviantart.com/journal/21718462/ http://ZethHolyblade.deviantart.com/journal/21718462/ Fri, 28 Nov 2008 17:19:49 PST After I dealt with gynecology as my 1st 1-month-length course on the last (10th) semester of my Medicine Career, I had to deal with another 3: Pediatrics (enjoyed it, had great professors and I kinda earned a more patience when dealing with kids), Surgery (not the type of speciality I'd choose but still did good) and Internal Medicine (hardest, thoughest, sublimest of all... I prefer using my brain than bare hands).

Though semester you could say, specially Internal Medicine, last one was so hard I even failed 2 exams and had to do a 3rd one which I passed, not before depressing under the intense stress I was dealing with (for example I took 6 exams on the last day), still my professors told me I was a very good student, above average, and this was a mere tripping.

Well now that I'm done there's only 1 thing for me left... that is preparing myself for the Medicine Internship exam to access to a hospital of the Private Heatlh services which will be held on Dec 20th. I got one month to prepare myself... lol I feel like Rocky

Anyway I'd like to let you know I'm still alive. Been doing lots of artworks, for real, just dont feel like uploading them for the time beign.

Some of my classmates went to their respective hospitals only to be kicked by a mob of angry nurses and supporting doctors. It's lame but that's the way things are... they won't let enter any students.

Of course this strike has its good and wrong reasons. Plus our current Minister of Heatlh is an asshole, he's not even a MD (a lawyer I think), who doesn't have a clue of the medical profession itself and how things work there.

Anyway right now I'm currently reviewing some legal medicine articles for today's examn, listening to Posthumus album, and drawing some stuff in my spare time... eh lots of WIPs, can't think on which one should I finish first

How are you people doing? Personally I've been quite busy this whole time since I've been attending the 10th semester classes, my 1st 4 week rotation is Ginecology and we're ending the last week before I start Pediatrics on the comming one.

In addition to that we've got some other subjects such as Bioethics, Hospital Management and "Legal Medicine" or Forensics I think thats how you call it. As part of our Medical education we are needed to know some basic forensics procedures, or at least watch them like an autopsy.

Today we saw one, a 4 years old kid who died when a truck rolled all over him. Poor lil guy suffered a anterior craneal base and spine vertebrae fractures + liver, lung, splen & kidney traumatic rupture, so he bleeded to death, internally. It's the first time in my whole medical education that I actually see the cavities and some organs just like the way you see on anatomy books, on a fresh corpse, and yeah its a whole differnt thing compared to a living person during a surgery or a embalmed corpse.

I dunno how is it in other countries but here in Perú, the LAW claims that everyone who dies on a violent way must be sent for an autopsy to know the cause of death... so yeah try not dying on a violent way.

Teh 2 things I disliked were the smell or stench... smelled like meat at a marketplace, and the noise of metal instruments' friction on the metal table.... ewrgh... can't tolerate that sound.

Well, I've got a busy agenda...
3 expositions on powerpoint... though i just got info its only 1-2.
Exams on Friday: Ginecobstetrics & Computing II... my least favorite program from all Office: EXCEL, i hate it.

¿Cómo se encuentran? Yo aquí ocupado ya que estoy llevando clases del 10 módulo de Medicina, previo al internado, y como primera rotación he estado llevando Ginecoobstetricia durante estas últimas 4 semanas. La próxima comenzaré con Pediatría.

Además de esos cursos tengo que llevar otros como Ética, Gestión Hospitalaria y Medicina Legal. Sobre lo último, como parte de la formación integral de todo médico uno debe ser capaz de hacer una autopsia, al menos hoy vi una.

Un niño de 4 años, fue arrollado por un camión. Trauma multisistémico: fractura conminuta de base anterior del cráneo, fractura vertebral de C6-C7 también conminutas, rotura de hígado, bazo, riñón y pulmon (derecho creo). Así que murió de una hemorragia masiva interna, seguramente en segundos. Es la primera vez que veo las cavidades, y paredes de éstas, del cuerpo humano en un cadaver "fresco", las otras veces fueron en muertos previamente embalsmados o pacientes vivos durante las intervenciones quirúrgicas.. y puede decirse que la cosa es muy diferente eh.

No sé como serán las leyes en otros países pero aquí en Perú, si uno muere de forma violenta... mala suerte.. autopsia se ha dicho, a fines de determinar la causa de muerte. Así que procuren no morirse de forma violenta... sino, bueno no es muy agradable como queda el cuerpo después de la autopsia.

Las 2 unicas cosas que no me agradaron fueron: el olor... a carne como la que uno encuentra en un mercado, y el ruido que hacían los instrumentos metálicos (agujas, tijeras, cuchillos, bisturís) cuando hacían fricción sobre la mesa de metal... ese ruidito ehhhh es feo.

Bueno me despido.. tengo una agenda ocupada este fin de semana...

Lol I'm kinda worried since I only got half year left before going who-knows-where to perform an entire year of medical application as a Medicine Intern. I also need to finish my Pre-Grade Thesis, and finish computation II and III.. unbelievable but I do need to go through those courses.

The 9th semester is nearly over, i got some additional classes within a few hours and then a doll-simulated exam for Neonatology (specialization on newborns) procedures for CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resucitation) such as positive preassure ventilation, cardiac massage, endotraqueal intubation, and drugs. This is the last week of this semester before I start the 10th one after a 1-week vacation xD

I noticed dA changed the interface again like, I guess I'll need to re-adapt to it, looks funy though.

As for art, I've been doing plenty artworks, but don't got time to scan them. I've been developing new characters as well as fixing some, I'm thinking on drawing scenarios from time to time.

Bueno estoy algo preocupado ya que tan solo me queda medio año antes de que vaya a quien sabe donde para iniciar el Internado de Medicina. Ademas de terminar la Tesis de Pre-Grado y llevar computación 2 y 3.. como si necesitara pero en fin son por cuestiones oficiales.

Ya casi se termina el módulo 9, ésta es la última semana de clases y tengo dentro de unas horas una clase corta sobre algunos aspectos de Neonatologia y luego el examen de competencias de Neonatología en simulación con maniquí. Lo que voy a hacer hoy son técnicas de reanimación cardiopulmonar en neonatos: ventilación a presión positiva, masaje cardíaco, intubación endotraqueal y medicamentos. Después de este módulo tendré vacaciones por una semana y comienzo el módulo 10 que es un "pre-internado"

Noté que dA ha cambiado nuevamente su interfase así que tendré que volver a adaptarme.

Con respecto al arte.. he estado dibujando varias cosas, nuevos personajes y redefiniendo algunos. Muchos bosquejos también. Ojalá encuentre tiempo para escanearlos y subirlos.

SOOOO 2nd Week is nearly done and today was the Weekly Problem-Based-Learning friday meeting to discuss the case we're given on monday. The case was about an Acute, jaundice-less Viral Hepatitis caused by hepatitis A virus complicated with middle-grade dehydration.

I participated quite a lot defeating some of my classmate in intelectual and evidence-based combat however.. all my participations where for "nothing" academically speaking. Since my group and I came like 5-10 mins late, we were allowed to come in but stillwe counted as "absents" and absent students aren't there, they simply dont participate

A real pitty, the problem overall was that since every group has to make a Power Point exposition we had some issues at gathering for working on this thing earlier and we had like 4 days spare to do this (actually on the afternoons + homework) and we post-poned it for the last 2 and altough we finished we came late and thus i got a 0 on this PBL meeting

DAMN, I guess this will be one of those for-the-rest-of-my-life lessons.

As you know ive attended to the 1st class of the 9th semester which is Pediatrics.

I was asigned on group 4, 4 members including me, among my teamates there's a very good friend of mine from semester "zero" hehe and its a bit funny that this is the 1st time we're working on the same group, although something tells me she's gonna test my patience joking / bugging me all time (I'm a very serious person believe it or not).

Unlike other students, our group was assigned to the subject of the 2nd unit which is Community Pediatrics, our profesor is a good friend of mine and my moms, he was actually my dr when i was kid and so was my sister's now he's gonna test my skills.

He already assigned us +30 pages about something called "AIEPI" (Integral Atention on Prevalent Diseases during Infancy, on english) for tomorrow, it's little i know, but still I'm gonna go reading these now

Oh God light my path I hope I'll have the required DIVINE PATIENCE to deal with this, since some kids can be way tooooo damn difficult to deal with, to talk to or get information and sometimes their parents can be evasive or not very talktative at all.

In other words it'd be harder to get information from them, or attending them, like you do with grown people. It will also be a great challenge for me since I'm surely gonna have to develop social skills to interact with these type of patients.

Hmm I wonder how it'd be like. I was told this semester is a lot easier than the previous ones, and yeah its supposed to be. It's like a mini version of Internal Medicine, and I like Internal Medicine (planning to be a physician, maybe an endocrinologist later, and finally a family doctor).

In other news, well my battle power reached 22 000 today (+22k pageviews) hehe Thank you people for this. Ive been doing some pretty nice artworks lately, and colorign some wtih photoshop, my character Myzrael for example, I decided to give him a sky blue + blue mix with golden or platinum details.

As for my kittens, well Shia had her 4th set of kittens +2 weeks ago, 7 were born, she still has the 5 nails on her right humerus since it was broken when she was attacked by a neighbor. As for her grown up kittens, we still have Danny teh 2nd (from the 1st set of kittens) and Eris (from the 2nd) and Eris is pregnant too, she might give birth soon... and we believe Danny is the father haha

The good one is that Shia is fine she's back home and she's resting mostly, she still has the nails on her right (front) leg of course since she had a fracture on the humerus bone and couldnt be fixed using plaster (i think its called plaster right?) I'm taking her to her check ups, next one will be this thusday. Maybe she'll have her 4 set of kittens during these days, too bad the Dr said there will be like 5 to 7 kittens... not again too many >_>

The bad new is that I wasn't allow to register on the computer course of my university. Hmm despite I already know about computers (since ive been using them since I was 3) I failed course 1 (which started when just when i began studying medicine) the reason was that I stopped attending classes due to the SLOW progress of the class, I mean it took them 1 week to make folders and navegate the desktop properly come on so I left. Now, I need to pass all 3 courses to recieve my tittle as soon as I finish the carreer next year. English is not a problem for I already completed my english course years ago.

The bad thing here is that, I did an exam proving I knew everything from computing cycle 1. I passed and thereby I was supposed to be allowed to register on computing 2, even better... I was told in my special case (last academic year of medicine before the internship) I could ask for an advance course taking computing 2 and 3 (and computing 3 has all related to flash making, web design, etc). But guess what? during the whole week I attended everyday demanding to know my grades and by the time they had them ready (yesterday) there were no more registration available

I was given a choice though, study for these exams (I could do that) and do them by March 22nd... ah this sucks.

Since we moved here years ago there was this skinny single woman living with her brothers 2 houses from our home. Like the woman has issues, lives on gossip and is incredibly nosey.

Well today she knocked the door and said our kitty Shia (female non-breed cat, pregnant aprox 40 days) was laying in front of her house and that she "fell" from the 2nd floor and got hurt by the fall and couldn't move.

BULLSHIT, my 1st cat fell from a 4th floor when it was only 1 month old and survived with no wounds at all. Cats 99% of the times fall on their feet damnit.

My sis ~ClaudiaGG went to pick her up and brought Shia back home, she was (whats the word?), well she couldnt walk on her front right leg, when i touched it... damn it felt loose, i could introduce my finger between the limb and the chest and it was like hollow.

Several surgery-supplied vet shop searchs later we found one with a Vet specialized on traumatology, oh yeah just what we needed, sadly the dr confirmed Shia had a simple fracture on the right humerus (i saw the X-ray myself) But my biggest concern was that her babies could be in danger, and Shia herself as well for a dead cub can cause sepsis on the mother.

The evidence was clear of a traumatic fracture caused by agression with a blunt weapon, a broom maybe?

Anyway what really annoys me here is that we can't sue the bitch I wish there were stronger animal-suporting laws here, too bad there aren't.

I left my kitty at the Vet, the dr said she'll be watched overnight... hmm my sis and I are anxious for revenge.

Today's tuesday I went to see Shia's status and altough i couldnt actually see her for the dr's assistant was preparing her for the operation, the vet said her kitties were fine and she was a bit more estable, they probably have already operated her by now. Ill go check her out this afternoon.

Yesterday I stitched 2 patients for example One had a head wound after b eing attacked with a bottle, like 4cm long. The other was a kid who fell from his bike, had an irregular wound so it was slightly more troubling but did it still.

Today Im going to the surgery rooom, need to iron my clothing 1st

What's new? Well Shia (my kitty) had her 3rd group of kittens 4 weeks ago, 5born, 1 died so it's 4 now (1 female 3 males) and Danny (the elder brother from the 1st kitten group) is still here too He's grown enormous and hormones are starting to take over (tried to mate with its mother twice).

Oh yeah and they're building a garage door in front of my house, since they other day apparenty a bulgar attempted to rob stuff from here. Altough I'm a bit concerned about this new garage door since its roof is 1 meter away from the house's front windows, which one of them leads to my room but has fences though, so it'd be easier for thieves to get in.

Lol i got no classes up until next monday, university has declared it as ""holidays"" since there's a medicine congress comming soon and i guess ill go there. Hmm, still got many other things to do like my Thesis, it will be about metabolic syndrome in a local hospital (pre-grade thesis).

I guess that'd be all, now I'll continue scanning some artworks / scraps.

I learned a lot of interesting things on Gynecology, for example i know how to do a gynecologic exam (1 hand inside the vagina the other one at the abdomen), Papanicolaou and breast exam. And saw some other things as well including births (natural and cesareal). Now that im doing Obstetrics im gonna learn some other stuff related to babies (inside the uterus).

Oh ya my ending grade for last semester: Integral Surgery was 14 out 20, which is a decent grade considering i survived some nasty oldschool profesors and their rough trials.

Other than that, family's ok, cats are ok too mom's a bit skinny though, would you believe her 7 months old "cub" still wants some milk from her?

Hasn't rained so far and I guess im lucky since i havnt been stinged by mosquitos yet, damn i dont wanna get malaria or yellow fever which are common diseases in the jungle areas.

Tomorrow at the afternoon my family and I (including my sis ~ClaudiaGG) will return to Truxi.

So how ya've been?

I finished the 7th semester of human medicine at university, I almost passed... FLAWLESSly, I mean i failed 1 misserable exam and now I gotta take a course or something about it, dang I shouldn't have been so overconfident about it. Eh i need to find time to study anesthesiology.

This semester was surely a tough one, as some may recall, i had general surgery, traumatology, thorax surgery, urology (), and even other surgeries related to eyes, nose, mouth & ears... oh ya and NEUROsurgery.

I met the devil at Neurosurgery, 2 professors, one of them was a real bad ass sob. Damn, sure he was insanely smart but also a saddistic bstrd when treating us students

Anyhow i passed the most difficult courses, just need to solve this problem wiht the other thing i need to finish.

Hmmm art's good but i havent found free time to make the scanner work and get some drawings posted... they were finished so long the ink is changing color >_>

Oh well i really hope ya peeps are doing good, wish you the best yo

Now i should be going back to my room for my own safety since female mosquitos should be roaming by this time and i dont want to get stinged.

I've been asisting 2 weeks already, and you may guess now I've been reading a lot more than ever, reading, drawin' diagrams to learn better, and more. I also got to enter inside the surgery room plenty times and see hmmm colecistecthomies (both open and using a laparoscope: 2 acute and 2 chronical cases) pretty cool and interesting indeed.

I've also seen other cool stuff, worked on patient's profile, today I got an important exam so I'll get back studying soon as you probably thought.

University has kept me way too busy to come by, not to mention the few times I've gotten sick or injured during this period that took away more time for me. At least I dearly hope you peeps have had a great time and nice experiences.

Personally I haven't had many (except for university which is GOOD... im starting 7th semester on april)

Too bad Art is kinda dead for me, way too low inspiration for drawing, and everytime I do I feel like harming myself with it. The thing is... everytime I try to draw my stuff, including new stuff or re-editing some I can't help but to think on what our psychiatry profesor told us about how patients with psychosis (and those with squizofrenia tendencies) develop their own worlds (places, stories, characters, events, etc) and the more elaborated these are (or freaky) the more risk for the person to develop a psycosis eventually.

Now I do have a clear idea of what is real and what it isn't, sadly I can't get rid of the idea of this affecting a person's sanity... thus It slows me down when drawing.

I think I'm in a low level of deression, since I just took Psychiatry i can diagnost something like this. Could be a low level depression or could be a distimia.

Drawing doesn't please me as much as usual, i feel tired, I don't wanna eat (which is rare). Fortunately university duties and homework are doing good so I'm not very worried about this.

Sorry peeps my activity on Deviant art has gone to its minimum but I've had my reasons as you well know. University's taking much of my agenda, during the past 3 weeks I've been having taking Psychiatry classes as part of this semester's requirements to pass.

Psychiatry has helped me a lot to understand myself, now I know what mental problems i have and how to identify some as well.

About art, only have done very little art during these very stressful times, mostly scraps (very nice looking ones though)

I've really missed you peeps, hopefuly I'll have time to be more active again, maybe within 3 weeks or 4 before I'm done with this semester.

Gee time goes fast when you have fun or have a lot of things to do

Unlike the 4th and 5th semesters this one has 5 rotations instead of just 4, each one lasts 3 weeks only though. My current rotation is Occupational Medicine, in other words work-related-medicine. Every work or career has its side effects on people's health, some jobs more than others and that's where this branch of Medicine takes place.

So far we've gone to several industries and done check up on workers, done several exams I've learned in 4th and 5th semester.

Also started doing with other 2 friends our investigation proyect about: Noise-provoqued acustic damage on workers exposed to machines and so

So far all good

Classes start again at the UCV (my university for those who didn't know) 6th semester of Human medicine, subjects are gonna be neurology, psychiatry, laboral medicine, human rights, field medicine & scientific investigation.

Oh yah.... unlike the previous semesters I'll have to take classes from monday to saturday, that's right, they have violated the sanctity of weekend but oh well... I'll have to do sacrifices for the carreer I love, hope art won't be included :/

Speaking about art, I've been doing several stuff during my 1 month brake, in addition of working out, traveling, and also gaming xD. I know I had mentioned doing an ancient peruvian artwork for 28 July, unfortunately i didnt have time as we were doing family travels. It appears I'll have to pospone it til next year.

Art hasn't suffered many big chances on detailing level, which is good I guess... less confusing for people and less work too which means I don't have to do that many REMAKES or previous "remakes" and so on.

I've really missed you all peeps. Seems I'll b missing you even more as I'm gonna be hell of busy, hope everyone has become better artists and human beings, wish you all good.

Well I got some nice news I guess... I survived Dr "loco" George Garcia Ventura's 1st rotation, I dunno why they call him crazy though. The doctor is an amazing person. He's a lil rough when saying something, very demanding when he calls you to say something right. Really enjoyed the rotation on the Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital (HVLE)

now I'm on another hospital... which is a lower class hospital, but way older, in academical terms too. The Regional Hospital of Trujillo has been used for students of the UNT(national university of trujillo), UPAO and sorta recently us the UCV. I don't like the hospital at all, plus our patient was a real ignorant and hostile woman, she even told us to get out when we came a day and asked "How do you feel today?"

Anyway, I've been relaxing past 3 days, mostly playing MUonline and also drawing several pics that I will upload when done, one of these includes the so long delayed 100th dev, It's looking very nice eeeh

I went this morning to the opening class, this coordinator is Dr. Rossel , according to some doctors (including my mom) he's one of those few grandmasters in medicine. I was told we're the last promotion he's in charge of, then he will retire.

This pretty old man look fairly innocent or harmless I'd say... lol with those tiny eyes he has, but as far as I'm concerned he's a highly strict professor, though he has changed over the years and become less harsh and rough on his ways of treating students, yet I need to be careful and study hard so I won't pass any moments of embarassment with him or any of his other strict as well colleagues.

I've been asigned with other 3 people on the Level IV Lazarte Hospital, the professor I'm gonna be watched by is, according to my mother, another harsh and mean doctor.. you know... the type who enjoys humiliating students if they don't know... but he may have changed as well as Dr Rossel has.

Anyway I really hope things go fine to me... I need to earn those 30 credits this module demands, plus Clinic has a 60% of the final grade so I must definately make it right.

Now I guess I'll go to the university to do some tramits to get my photocheck so I can enter the hospital tomorrow.

It seems by april the 1st, Medicine THIRD YEAR Semester 5 will commence. Several good friends of mine did not make it.. that's sad, as well as some others, who had trouble during the past semester and were about to give up, did do eveyrthing they could and passed.

Lol I checked my grades and happened that from all 60 ppl I was 1 of the 8 ones who had no low grades at all. a Perfect record or so If you wanna call it that way.

Meh the thing is I'm gonna miss my vacations, I mean this whole break I've been relaxing, reading too, but mainly relaxing and getting rid of stress and head aches I had.

The operation went as programed, past Friday 17th. I went at 8:15am and waited up to 2 hours before I had my operation of this uhm.... how can I translate it... quistic-pili-nest

I got 3 inyections that day. The first was for the venoclisis on my left hand... ouch... they get a needle and a plastic tube, needle in, remove needle and the plastic remains inside, that the serum can flow to your bood (vein)

The other 2 were inside the surgery room? or whatever u call it... they had to put me an epidural inyection... lidocaine... in the back, after the 5th lumbal vertebras or so, in thehorse tail (last part of the nervous spine).. now... before this whole thing, the previous night I was aware that this sort of anesthesia... produces bloodvessel dilatations and other efects like muscle tone decrease... that includes the "esfínteres" lil muscle rings that have a big importance as entryways in many parts of the human body, like the one in the anus for example that helps the person to defecate

Now the thing is... IF I recieved the anesthesia and my colon wasn't very clean at all there could be a serious problem you can guess So past thursday at the hospital they said I needed an enema.... UH NO you won't put a plastic pipe in my ass no way Hey, I know how they do those things at the hospital... pretty nasty, brute and uneffective. So I got some 'evacuol'.... that helped me to evacuate things in the confort of my home... but still it was something very horrendus... I hope I don't have to go for anything like this ever again.

Alright back to the surgery room... I recieved the first inyection and I made a big mistake... I moved a bit.... again with the 2nd one, this hurted me even more and I couldn't even breath cuz I if I did I would MOVE!!! about 8cm from a 10cm needle pierced my skin reaching to its destiny and then the anesthesic liquid poured in....

I dunno which hurted me more.... the needle or the drug (lidocaine).... The needle felt a lot worse than "just a mosquito sting", on the other hand the drug that was being inyected caused me a huge pain not just in my back but in other places like my left testicule. NO SHIT! It did feel like if it was being squished! It made me laugh from the pain.

The rest of the operation was heaven, I had half part of my body all drugged and I had also beein inyected with some sleeping drug I dont remember its name right now. Though I did not sleep and stood awake and talkative during the whole operation, I couldn't move or feel anything below... which was good.

After the operation... which took 45mins... I stood in bed for 6 hours. Moving my was totally forbidden!! Not even turning it around and even less to do a forward flexure of my neck. This was cuz if I did... I could end up with a terrible cefalea or head ache that would last about a week, good thing it didn't happen!!!

Hospital food???? DAMN! There was an error! I was able to eat solids but instead they brought me a soup and a horrible lookin' juice. At 7pm that Friday 17th I left the hospital, went home, and ate like a king I've been recovering and assisting to checkups these days and eveyrthing looks wonderful. No complications, no infections, no nothing. Can't describe much of what I have or what they're gonna do, it's a bit embarassin' thing but lets say ithas to do with the fact I'm a very hairy person - please no idiotic jokes ok?

I went yesterday to the hosptial and check the doctor who's gonna be in charge of this operation, I know the man for a very long time and he's a good friend of my mother, well he said since the Hospital where I'll be attended is kin dof "conservative" I need to go tomorrow 16th and get myself hospitalized and such. I just hope they don't put me some serum in my hand Though I doubt I'll need it.

What I got is a simple operation, the Dr said shouldn't take longer than a couple of hours, maybe 1 hour would suffice. We'll see.

I also got the results of my blood exams.. nothin' unusual.. I'm still bein' A+ and my blood glucose, cholesterol and such are fine.... I was fearing they would diagnostic me diabettes but didn't happen

This 17th in the mornin is the day of my operation... I should be out of the hospital the same day, which I hope it does happen... as I'm playin' MUonline (www.muonline.com) again but with this Chaos Time event thing durin the account transfer I can't go and play, gain exp. Today... after posposing it for months I went to the barbershop and got my hair done at last, when I stood up from the seat I thought there was a black furry carpet thing below me but it was actually all the hair they cut off. I'm not kidding you but before gettin' this haircut everytime on the shower I could shape my head like more than 20 forms of anime hairstyles... i had soo much hair and shampoo made it easy to turn it into those forms

Anyway after having my hair done I went back home and had this Osama-Bin-Laden like beard shaved. It took me quite some time but I did manage to get rid of it, too bad my neck looks a bit too red from all the preassure of the blades on my skin.... anyway why don't you check how do I look in my Da Webcam ?

She died this morning at the Lazarte Hospital, the same one I'll start having classes next 5th semester. The reason why she was sent there is cuz she had been diagnosted with a multiple isquemic ictus, or brain infarts in multiple zones, that had some effects like a left side of her body totally paralized.

This morning when I woke up my mom came and said "My Fausti died 5 mins ago" Man I felt cold by then, almost about droping a tear from the left lacrimal gland but nothing happened, I haven't cried and I dunno why

Just 5 mins after the doctor had done the daily check up (He said by then her vital signs were a bit normal, but he noticed signs of cianosis on her nails and other periferic zones, what can be translated as hipoxia of her tissues. Cianosis is when ur skin is blue. The other exams were 'normal') My uncle Manuel (my granny's only male son) came to see her and found her dead, the doctor was in the bed at the next to him and was perplexed.

The defunction act says she apparently died from a -very rapid- acute respiratory insufficence case. The cause seemed to be central. Maybe the heart-lungs center on the encephalix troncus was badly damaged somehow. She died quickly and painless.

Now the thing I wasn't counting on was that when I saw and touched her body she was warm, her hands and all that were cold but her face, neck and torso were warm/hot + her in her eyes, the pupils weren't midriatic or very open, what you always find on dead people No vitals, no nothing she was dead.

Her velatory will be this afternoon and of course me, and another person who's on the next room and who told me this morning cold monster cuz i didn't cry (she didn't either) , will have to go. Awww my poor granny, she's so bad right now. Plus she's very sensible lately cuz of some depresion / emotional thing. From the 100% users from the "watched by" list, its 93.5% are real users. Now less than 30-60% from these users DO comment on my work.

The remaining 70-40% of users who don't care a sh!t about what I do, its composed mainly of male users... its 50-70%

Am I exagerating again? I don't think so, most comments I recieve in my artworks or basically anything are from women, not just here on DA, on other places such as GAIAonline happens the same way!!! I get comments moslty from women or sissies too. But the thing is that the female world seems to like my artworks better

now my question is.... WHY??? can anyone explain me???

That Idea is called: Realism > Anime

But I know... by just reading the tittle some people may feel offended, some annoyed badly, some may even raise on a furious mob to ban me from DA who knows.

Still I doubt of this ever happening. The point of this idea, is making a parody. Where I make some funny comparisons between both sides. Of course, realism would always pwn anime since the 2nd happens to be an extraction of realism. Therefore, there's not going to be any nudity, raw stuff I don't think so, it will have all proper warnings so I should be fine eh?

The porpuse of this consists on making as many people as I can to realize that anime sometimes... many times.... it can be a big creativity, originality, innovation supressor.

Know that I have 3 stories and 4 main characters on them. This will be the last time I give a general explanation from them, hope ppl care to keep in mind this.



The Holyblade Saga (THS) - fanart - Fantasy story developed in the world of my fav RPG from all Diablo, you know in the game, everything happens from the eyes of a mortal, this time everything happens from a special angel type view. Main character is Zeth Holyblade, and also his evil counterpart Zeth Bloodrage (used to be a part of ZH but then i got materialized). The story takes from its begining missions and ends on his conflict with his counterpart, having to save the fate of all creation - Comic Book (2%?) Story Book 10%?) -under development-

The Most Insane Bloodlust (TMIB) - original - Macabre story where the main char is Mason Bartuc, aparently an ordinary human but with a twisted and demented mind product of a dark event on his childhood. A corp directed by sum1 who shared the same experience uses their newest creation and manage to materialize what lies within Mason's mind, spreading chaos on its way. Comic Book (4%?) Story Book 40%?) -under development-

The Damned Empire Throne (TDET) - fanart - Sci-fi story taking place in the Star Wars universe, this takes place after the Episode 9 (described in a website i found time ago). Main character is Zeth the Damned a VERY OLD (80000 years) Sith Emperor. He and his empress were exiled long ago by the Jedi council on the early years of its existence. A failure sent them away to another galaxy, where there were any oposition agaisnt them. After conquering this galaxy he and his fleet plan to engage the galaxy from where he was expelled. But he's betrayed by his very ambitious empress. All that is left for him now is revenge, revenge and getting back the throne of his empire. Comic Book (0%) Story Book 0%) -The whole story is on my head, hasn't been typed yet-

The result is a black out and patient has no memory of what happened during the short period he remained unconcious.

So you wonder why am I discussing about this? Easy, happens that I was at my Fight-Do class past thursday. We were using "steps" and switching foot while we were doing several punches as the instructor said.... man I hate steps.... In one of those moves, I made a mistake by not stepping / stomping my right foot correctly, so I lost balance and while I was falling, yeah I fell... I felt unable to react.... All I know, is that I fell and eveything blacked out, I had a lipotimia :S, I woke up and stood up with a small knee pain and continued working out, a bit slower and much more careful this time

By the end of the class a girl came and asked me "Did you fall??" And I was like inside my head... No, I just wanted to kiss the floor Lol b ut told her yeah seems I passed out for a moment. Good thing I didnt hurt my head, only below the left knee. She was about to leave when I asked her..... Hey how long I remained in the floor??? and she told me: "Uhmmm i dunno.... like 10 seconds I think then you stood up on your own. After her the instructor himself asked me if I was hurt or something I explained him I had passed out but didn't harm anything but my knee, though it was fine

Welll..... I said there's a point in all this journal....

SO MUCH APATHY??? SO MUCH INDIFFERENCE??? Could've been soemthing worse and every1 would've just staid doing their excersises while they have a corpse in the room

Anyway not that I'm mad or something. Actually I'm quite glad cuz my best friend told me that his friend needs help with a website making. It's about a Peruvian Metal band, don't remember the name though, still they say is one of the few good ones here lol anyway i was told they need something like a dragon and knight thing, or maybe something close to it... I'll see what I can do and if it turns nice, I'll post it here too

Well what will you see in the future???

I dunno lol, I've been thinking on posting the stories of The Holyblade Saga (My fantasy-Diablo-fanart-story with Zeth Holyblade included, duh its on the title) and continue with The Most Insane Bloodlust. Mainly cuz I'm tired that people dun have a clue, and some just ignore the information or the links among my chars. I'm not a simple guy who draws creatures by random. It reminds me to that poll I made long ago 'Do you know my chars?' and 60% said "Keep the good work up" like that was stupid.

Or maybe I'll post not just the story but comics... comics of THS. Actually I started last night, almost finished the 1st page I'm kind of slow I know.
Oh yeah, always the comics and the stories have some diferences. For example. The 1st chapter of THS in the story chapters, starts describing things about The Great Conflict, about the Holy Avengers and such. On the comics, it starts on a tavern, 3 bullies come close to the hooded outlander, who had just saved the small town from a demon attack, the outlander (ZH) scares them off with his gaze and then sum1 asks him about the story, refering to what was the reason this outlander had come, the outlander tales everyone in the tavern exactly the same things the story tales on chapter one. He starts with the GC and so on.

So in a few words the comic has a better starting than the story 'book'

Please if you comment in my journals, do it properly from now on. Don't post something like a cuddle or a glomp and nothing else. If you were going to do that save it to yourself. Now if you do comment something those emoticons r welcomed

As I mentioned once, my comic books and my story books sometimes differ in some aspects. In the case of the COMIC BOOK, the Chapter 01 (comic) starts with Zeth Holyblade inside a tavern, something that won’t happen until Chapter 04 when he comes to Sanctuary (Earth – Man’s realm) in human stage. On the comic, after getting rid of a group of three bullies, one of the people in the tavern asks him about the story behind his arrival. Zeth Holyblade kindly accepts to tale it, and begins with the Great Conflict and the Holy Avengers (this chapter’s subject) exactly as the STORY BOOK tales. This tale continues as Chapter 02 and Chapter 03, once these are done, the last one has Zeth Holyblade with the story unfinished; he stands up and goes to complete it (Chapter 04)

How do I know? Well before going yesterday to the university and checking how did I go, I had been told by some classmates that I had passed, perfect (no low grades) still I wasn't certain even though the coordinator's daugher told me that I had passed

While my nephew =Th3-Virus-M4triX was sitting at this computer (as I borrowed him) I was at collegue 4:20pm or so I think, I found a friend of mine and he told me I had passed. I was like: riiiiiiight I prefer checking it myself yo.

I went to the 2nd floor where the faculty is located and I saw a list of students, the tittles said: "Students who owe the ECOE recuperation exams", the other one said "Students who need to recover in the following subjects" I searched my name and I wasn't there, my friend explianed me that the Coordinator told him that if you're not on that list means you passed. Invicto

That's a relief, I still need to assist to collegue though, I passed the subject but I need some feedback on investigation project making.

It's a clear fact that less than 10% of that number really watches me. I'm NOT exagerating, I just did a check up on the ppl that is located in the 'Watched by' list. I counted those who bother visiting me and commenting on my artwork

You may say or think "Come on! quit bitching!" or "You don't comment on my work either"

I've had my reasons as you well know, I've been uber busy with my university duties. Medicine is a career of many sacrifice and I've done many. And I know, perhaps others do have their reasons for not commenting, they must be busy yeah. Well that 10% I said before includes that people, who despite of being busy or maybe not online a lot still come from time to time, some often, to visit me.

Like this started since teh "Time for me to say goodbye" journal I posted when I started module IV medicine, lol what happened eh? You read the tittle and then deleted me from your watch list?

Anyway it doesn't matter if wether or not that is the reason, what matters is that I want you out! Yes out! of that "Watched by" list if you don't really want to watch me. Just like on medicine professors say "I rather 1 interested student than 5 others who are not interested, you may leave" Same here lol, I ratehr having 15 people who watch and are interested on what I put here, than 157 where majority is just filling the empty spcace.

Oh and other thing.

IT REALLY PISSES ME OFF WHEN YOU DO FAVORITES AND CERO COMMENTS

even more than simple comments, at least those show some interest, slightly but is something.

In my case I'd say pretty well, you see every year in my family we don't just celebrate NY but my father's b-day as well. In this ocassion we traveled north, to Piura. The past 2 days we've been in Piura, Sullana, Los Organos, Mancora & Punta Sal.

I wasn't much excited at the beggining I must confess, cuz i have awful memories of Mancora... there I was struck by a salmonella tiphy bacteria bitch and others like teh e. coli spp And besides the place wasn't what I had been told.

Anyway these days have been pretty good, if it weren't that I'm not very well right now, It seems my intestine problems have come again, not diarrea this time phew . and the fact that some mo-fu wasp stinged my right arm.

I've made some practice of my recently acquired digital camera and taken TONS of pictures, I dunno how I'm gonna upload them here.

From all the places we visited I really enjoyed Punta Sal the most, now i know why our s.o.b. president likes that place, he was even there and I must say I've never seen so many blondies in my life before. Lotsa ppl from UK there, ther was some tourist bus with a UK website on it.

Oh yeah it's real HOT here and the waves are amazingly high and strong. I actually heard 2 ppl died yesterdays, but it was cuz the 2 idiots went inside the sea even though they were warned and the beach had the red flag :S

Lol Xmas was ok, that if I hadn't fallen sick, eeer this time my digestive system was affected (please no stupid jokes about this) I dunno what I could've ate that had terrible consequences in my poor intestines but it was surely something powerful.

I had lost so much liquids at the point my feet were shacking, as a result of the lost of electrolites. and hell I was burning the night between monday and thursday. I had a 40-41ºC fever, that sucks. The human being reaches death at teh 45º tops according to bibliography. 43.5ºC ur brain starts melting (not literally of course)

I woke up better yesterday, the digestive disorders were all but gone which is good. But I woke up with a full upper right member spasm. This meant that from the right side of teh trapeze muscle to the fingers' flexors and extensors i had a spike-type continious pain. Man that sucked. I had to put creams and hot stuff on it to recover. I'm great today, fully recovered (don't comment something like 'hope you get better soon' that only means u didn't actually read this journal)

Anyway what I've been doing today? Well a school friend of mine, my best friend actually, came here and borrowed me some games, including STAR WARS: Republic Comando. FINALLY I've been waiting a loooong time for that game Besides i had a nice talk to him after months cuz of collegue stuff.

But I haven't tried it yet cuz the pc next to me (where I install all games) is busy at this moment. Sigh... Anyway besides that, I've been doing some drawing, including the Remade Xemphos Grimeye thing and finally the BIG 100TH

"Yeah right" That's what you might be thinking "you've been saying that since a year ago" But it is true. I'll be submitting the short advance I got by now. After trying this about 8 times along the year, this 9th attempt looks quite promissing in comparison to its predecessors.

I know yesterday's afternoon I was working on the Xmas tree for this year, but unfortunately i couldn't finish working on it... I had an unexpected visit

You see, I was working on the map when sum1 knocked the door, I opened knewing it was my dad's colleague comming home to pick up something he forgot that same morning. Anyway when he was leaving he said "Hey a kitty" "Meow!" I went to see and it was a kitty (hmmm perhaps he brought the kitty)

It was very small, orange (kind of like Bastet), uhhh male, and non breed (and trust me, it IS A NON BREED )

Anyway this lil chusquito was dirty, parasited and with lotsa flees, not to mention hungry, boney and thirsty. I gave him some water and friskies yeah. After that i played the lil one, examinating if he had any mental dissorder and everything was fine.

So my parents... and sis... arrived home next and saw the cat. My dad's first impression was "thats ungly" perhaps cuz this kitty has big ears and a triangular head, my mom liked this kitty had big uhhh waht's the name??? mustache?

Last night we took the cat to the vet and she gave him some anti-parasite medicne and a bath. He's clean now, though we need to get rid of the fleas.

So KUMA, was my christmas' present. Alon with this funny SONY Cyber-shot 2.8-5,1/5,1-15,3 lent Digital camera thing (it rocks lol very amusing to use)

Yesterday I took the ECOE exam (was good) and the Sumative (was so so)

The good thing is that I'm done with collegue. That until I go and check my grades, If I pass them all my only concerns will be relaxing the next 3 months, but unlike the last year this time I'll invest some more time studying rather than just gaming and drawing.

Anyway I have many plans for this summer. One of them includes getting an operation done so I wont keep worring about a shit i got. And spend some more time drawing, I need it!!!

As you know I'm taking my pracitces on a Hospital. Well today at Chocope I got Coma and Convulsions as subject... then next week will be Shock and finally Septic Shock lotsa things to do and I'm preparing for the finals.

Wether or not I'll make a party is still uncertain. Tonight we're having a dinner with my parents and 4 groupmates. We 5 will spend the rest of the night preparing our Patient Visit exposition... and the ASIS as well so as I said, IT'S A HELL OF TO DO

Escuché de esto cuando era niño, me parecía algo ciertamente feo en verdad aunque jamás había llegado a escuchar algun caso de esto. La semana pasada mi grupo de universidad de Medicina y eso vino a mi ksa jaja a trabajar sobre algo llamado ASIS. De todos modos, un pata q es Adventista del 7mo día agarra y dice: "Han escuchado alguna vez mensajes subliminales?" Yo le dije "No, aunqe sería interesante escuchar" JAja mi pata Rodrigo descargó de una pagina un archivo mp3 "Subli-Latina" con todo y comentarios de un pata argentino que había estado investigando esto desde hace 20 años

Como sea, ocurre que muchas canciones (q yo no escucho, no me gusta mucho la música, pero otros q conozco sí) tienen mensajes audibles sólo al invertir la musica.

Algunos ejemplos q encontré fue "Jesus no me sé salvar" en una canción de Shakira entre muchos otros incluyendo Pokemon (ya sabía q esa webada era satanica, al simple ojo se puede ver)

Que curioso... hace pocas horas cuando nuestro grupo se había reunido otra vez a trabajar. Uno de mis patas agarra y abre una grabación que yo la tenía guardada desde el año pasado. Cuando estaba en el modulo ÍII de medicina, tenía mi grupo de investigación, eramos 4, de ellos mi amigo Franklin siempre... pero SIEMPRE se ponía a cantar y escuchar MTV y Ritmoson latino en una de esas veces le dije "Tamare oe ponte a trabajar o te grabo cuando cantas" no me hizo caso y lo grabe pues, su voz era un mate d risa xq estaba cantando "VIVEME" de Laura Pauzinni.

Hoy al invertir el archivo "Franklin cantando Víveme" mi grupo y yo nos sorprendimos al oir clarito 3 mensajes subliminales.

"... dime o te vas a joder gran hijo de puta..." nosotros nos kedamos mirando diciendo: ¿¿qué carajo???

"... odaaa luzbel!..." al inicio escuchamos odal al rey, o a rex, pero luego dimos x luzbel o el angel (aun no caido)

".... aaamoooo morir..." al mero inicio de la grabacion (osea cuando no esta invertida)

Sorprendentemente claro

Coincidencia????? Tal vez si, tal vez no

MONDAY: Cientific Investigation & Stadistic

2 exams in one, and I did them so so. Wasn't much difficult actually, which was good.

WEDNESDAY: ECOE Exam & Community Health Exam

Remember when I was at module III medicine and I used to say we had the soooooo feared "Triple Jump Exam"? GUESS WHAT???? MODULE IV HAS HIS ELDER BROTHER TEH"ECOE EXAM"!!!
GOD I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE NERVOUS IN MY LIFE! COE is a exam composed by 10 stations of 7 minutes each. The 3 first are a theory exam, the other 7 are pure practie with patients. I studied of course, but there is no way 7 minutes will let you do something like a complete respiratory exam, or a cardiac exam, or tale to the professor a patient's whole case and diagnostic!!!! GEE!!! That's surely a big abuse. So I did this exam so so, and fuck it contains 25% of my grade

Communiry Health Exam

PIECE OF CAKE, UPSIDE DOWN. I did that without any difficulty, but it was a WAY TEDIOUS AND LONG!!! I got to the point of joking Dr. Segura: It's getting boring doc, the questions are kinda repeating on and on

THURSDAY: UNIT EXAM

Man! I studied a lot for this exam, and I just found out that I study better surrounded by games music than in complete silence. It keeps me away but it doesn't distract me at all I always thought studying with music was a bad habbit but it hasn't been that bad at all This exam, just as the ECOE is 25% of my grade, and i had to take it at the hospital of Chocope. 2 hours - 100 rough questions. Pure memory in most of them. I'm confident that I did a good performance in that exam (that's what i think at least)

WELL THAT'S IT FOR THE 1ST UNIT IN CHOCOPE

Now I, along with my other classmates, have been switched to the afternoon group; which has its advantages including more sleeping and rest and more free time to study, but personally I prefer the morning group.... it's much safer in the return.

Begining on myself I had a half good - half rough week. Right now I'm sick.... again damnit. Plus I'm afraid the last patient we met had AIDS or TBC, I took his blood pressure of his right arm, it happened he had a blood extraction previously some there were still some old remains there, If I had a small cut just a small cut like Karla did when she took the blood pressure too... I might have been contaminated though the chances may be low... I think I need an ELISA.

The patient was a skinny old man... he had been loosing weight, no hemoptisis, no fever at all, but he had creps on his lungs and that's enough for me to be worried about. But maybe not... 2 TBC tests were applied to him and they went (-) phew!

This friday's expo was so so... I had 13/20 damnit, the professor this time was an ashole when it came to grade us. The 3rd 2-weekly exam went so so.

Yesterday's afternoon at Comunity Health me and my group 'Comando Taquila' ,yes is Comando Taquila not Tomando Tequila (spanish for drinking tequila) , went there (to Taquila) and started the Family census thing we're supposed to do. Me and a friend went inside 4 houses, other 2 did the same. damn we need to make haste

I was petrified yesterday cuz the 4th house we went in had insane ppl there, yes INSANE, dementia whatever you wish to call it INSANE AND DRUNK for instance; but we went out safely despite of those nutcasses we met.

Now about my country I suppose you've heard some nasty news.

About 48 days ago 2 sick fucks (a 50 years old hairstyler and a 19 years old archtecture collegue student) went to a Catholic church to get a blessing thing, but they set a trap to the priest as they recorded the thing. When time passed, back in Lima, the owner of the TV news program "PANORAMA" was caught during a telephone uhhhh 'chuponeo' (the conversation was recoreded and such) he had with a member of the Peruvian Government high comand, involving political and economical favors, that sort of things including President Toledo and Prime Minister PPK. SO WHAT HAPPENED? the owner of panorama got the video and ordered it to play it as a gay marriage thing, staining both Perú and my beloved city of Trujillo; all meant to make a smoke cover for the corruption here in our beloved Motherland, damnit I hate when ppl mess our country's reputation even more to other countries .

Now he and his program has been sued for doing this. The Christian Roma Catholic Church is against homosexual marriage, and so is our whole country on its constitution.

Deliciously prepared Lomo Saltadooooo my favorite meal, with some lemonade and "Sopa de papa seca" (dry potato soup, well the potatoes are all chipped into little very little pieces and are added to the soup with egg and some more, very tasty... It had Peruvian stuff of course )

Do I look happy? Maybe... not so mad as last week. Yesterday we did our group work but it was kind of messed up cuz a black out took place at the UCV. Damn everything was black, the only lights available were teh emergency ones. Still we finished our work Today at the expo.. I got 14, I asked the coordinator Dr. Gonzales what I needed to get higher grades he told me that we needed to improve our teamwork. I had the 14/14 of personal points we could say, but we all had 0/6 of the group points, a total of 20 as the highest grade we can reach. We need to fix that.

We changed of professor, damn I'm gonna miss Dr Jondec's rough critic and cold sense of humor, lol he wasn't that much of an asshole as we initially thought. Anyway our current tutor is Dr Nancy Chávez, she's very cool. Lol she makes these gestual expressions when you say something good or not so good. Besides my mom told me she has worked with her previously, she assured me she's a great person. The only thing I don't like is her lack of puntuality at least with us you know.

Anyway things I didn't like this week... for example the patient I taled before, who had this cancer to her pancreas perished last weekend. May her soul rests in peace. What pissed me off is that an asshole said "Oh the Simpson grandma died" I was like 'Man! You gotta show some respect come on don't be an asshole damnit" He said Simpson cuz of the disease she had, it made her skin yellow...no.... kinda orange cuz of all the bilirrubine in her blood.

And some other stuff.

Lol in other news I offered myself yesterday as a test subject for something called "Fondo de ojo" an exam that is called "Eye fundus" in english I suspose, at least I guess that's how u translate it. It was annoying cuz what Dr. Gonzales did to my left eye, was dilatate its pupil, so I had one eye bigger than the other and it was real annoying u know... the lights... It was kind of difficult to me to see after that, but it was ok.

Anyway I feel good cuz I got better grades in the 2nd two-weekly exams, 1 was good at least, the other not so but still was more than what i got before. My overal grade during the past 4 weeks is 12.75/20 I think I'm on the 6th place in the whole module or so. 70% bad experiences 30% good experiences

Bad experiences:
- 2 Low grades on the 1st-2 weekly exam.
- Dr. Jodec was cold enough to say in front of a woman with Metastatic Pancreatic Carcinome terminal case "AS YOU CAN SEE SHE'S GOING TO DIE"
- Being assigned with Karla to check an 'extra' patient and get his story.
- The 'extra' patient was a diabetic rude sob, and a big liar.
- Karla didn't show up the day we had to expose to the proffesor about the 'extra'-patient case.
- The patient said many things he never said during the previous interrogation and was nice to Dr Jondec, he laughed when i was bein' preached by my other groupmates... though Dr Jondec said he had realized the patient was a liar.
- That night there was no reunion and next day the drama started.
- Past friday morning there was no exposition A1 paper ready, we... no.. I HAD to start writing quickly on the A1 papers what we had to do, then I got some other 2 ppl from my group to start writing etc.
- In the exposition Karla said it was my fault for writing the case wrong, etc. I was like 'Hey in case you haven't noticed, I'm the only one who had the case written in my report, none of u had anything written, so don't fucking blame me"
- During the expo there were several assholes who quickly said this is wrong, that's bad, that's not correct, anything destructive to get points.

BUT THE PLAYBACK WAS SWEET

Gee.... we Peruvians just go and destory others Peruvians for our own survival, i suppose that won't change. The assholes during the exposition that said anythign to get an extra point got what they deserved.

Good experiences
- We finally got along with Dr. Jondec, though he's still a bit cold, anyway this was our last week with our highly strict tutor.
- We participated in the other groups expositions, with REAL critiques, specially moi. And I gotta say revenge is sweet... though it poisons the man's soul
- I got 14 in the exposition, highest from my non-cooperating group
- I performed the 2nd 2-weekly exam quite better than the previous time, i hope i get 2 better grades.
- Profitable friday week, as our community work was achieved quite good.
- Familiar dinner and confort


MORE or LESS of what happened

As for my art, it seems to be on hold, my blue pen died from a leak attack, so I'm currently lacking of drawing tools.

Today saturday at 6pm is the welcoming ceremony for module 1 medicine. But also some diploma award too for module 2 and module 4. For passing to module 4 I'll get a paper saying something like... (i don't remember now)... that means that I can work now as a Health Auxiliar dude or something.
