I just went through all the people I was watching and deleted about half of them that don't post things I'm interested in anymore or are now inactive and I had to delete almost 1000 deviations and 400 journals cuz I'd let them pile up over the last few months. Well, I didn't die or anything, I'm alive and kicking! A big thanks to the zero people who posted with concerned comments, I love you all!!! XDDD ROFL JUST KIDDING!

I haven't been very active on DA because I'm still not very used to the new system and the journals and deviations piled up to the sky until I had like over 600 things to wade through and some were so convoluted that they wouldn't even load all the way. With a weary heart, I had to delete EVERYTHING. So sorry if I missed any important journals!!!

Just missed getting hit by another Hurricane this weekend because it changed course a billion times until it finally decided to go to Texas.

As for me, I had corrective nail surgery recently which consisted of me getting my left big toenail removed permanently. He shot it up with local anesthetic and then ripped it out XD it's still healing and I have to walk around in sandals for two weeks. I'm soaking it in salts, and so far I've had very very little pain. Doing good DDDD

Been obsession over Watchmen as of late, and I just finished reading the whole graphic novel. I'm so blown away, it was amazing!!! I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE MOVIE EVEN MORE NOW!!! I hope those Fox people stop being douchebags! Warner has the rights to Watchmen and they already have a movie made, STOP TRYING TO CASH IN ON IT YOU SHOULD'VE DONE IT WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE!

That's right ya'll, another Hurricane that's going to hit my state. Things are looking pretty good for us about now and we will suffer some of it but it won't be as bad as Hurricane Katrina at least. The house is all boarded up and we have supplies and emergency packed stuff and even those army bagged meals called MRE's leftover from last season. We also have a generator and plenty of fuel for it. I'm not too worried about anything bad happening, sometimes it's kinda nice to live outside the information age. Preferably only for a short amount of time though.

In event of worst case scenario I have all of my most precious non replacable stuff packed up which includes all of my intellectual property which is what's most important to me Flashdrives FOR THE WIN!

Here's looking at you kids ;DDDD *Casablanca style* take care and hopefully I won't be out of the game for too long! School is canceled for Tuesday and I probably won't go back to work until Friday so I'll have some time to do my homework and read and FINISH WATCHMEN OMG it's so good ^_^ What tickles me pink is that I'm getting paid for the days I was scheduled and couldn't be there because of the storm and storm preparations, plus it's a holiday this week and I'm also getting holiday pay for that! Sometimes Academy is cool to me LOL ;D

In other news, after seeing the trailer for Hellboy II, I rented the first Hellboy movie and totally fell in love with it! I was like, WHY DIDN'T I WATCH THIS SOONER?!!! So I bought my own copy of the DVD (special edition!) plus the Hellboy companion to the comics and things and now I'm really super excited about the new movie XD you will also notice I have some Hellboy fanart posted, WHOO HOO! When did you join DA and why?: In 2005 I had my first account. I joined because my best friend ~Kaden-Amano always raved about this place and I had taken to going to it frequently and back then you had to have an account to search or something XD so I joined up and started posting my hideous art! I'm happy to say that I've created a style over the years no matter how 2D that style is XD and I feel that I've improved alot and learned alot about Photoshop since then ^_^

What was the first deviation you uploaded?: A desktop screenshot from the Bleach anime XD I was into it back then. (Yes, I did go back and check LOL )

How many deviations have you submitted?: Not including scraps? 136

Do you submit everything you create?: NO WAY! I like to keep some of my art just for myself, plus I've made a billion Elouai dolls that I use for fandom and on Livejournal, plus tons of stuff I doodle in my college notebooks XD it'd be insane for me to put everything in here.

Do you read all the comments you get?: You bet I do! I love getting comments!

Do you reply to all the comments you get?: Not all of them, but to the ones I feel I can contribute something back and make a conversation or discussion out of it. You have to know when to stop commenting back XD

Do you read all the favourites/watches you get?: All the watches, of COURSE! And I used to go and check all the faves, I usually skim over them and get them off the page because all anybody ever favorites anymore are my Stamps LOL so if I see someone faving something BESIDES the stamps, I definitely go and check their page out.

Do you prefer comments or favs?: BOTH. Cuz like Queen says, I WANT IT ALL. My general rule is, if a piece is left in scraps it's fair game for faving w/o commenting. I do try to comment on the pieces I fave, but if they're insanely popular and already have a billion comments on them I figure why bother because mine will get lost anyway.

How much time do you spend on Deviantart?: I'm usually on it everyday, although sometimes I don't come for a few days and then I come back and have a bazillion message and I'm like OMG so I usually have it open on my browser the whole time I'm on the internet and I'll go check back with it for updates and things, especially if I've posted new deviations or a journal recently.

Do you think that Deviantart is good for critique?: It can be, but it usually isn't. Most people seem to just praise the hell out of people for their art here because they watch people with superior skills to their own and look up to them. Some people do take the time to critique things, but you mostly see either pointless wank, or tons of compliments in the comments on pieces.

Do you think there's alot of drama on DA?: YES THERE IS. LOL why else would there be so many journals complaining about it? One of the people I watch on both here and LJ sometimes posts the kind of epic wankfests that take place on her own deviations that generally have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ART. WRY?! 1. I used to listen to my Prince of Tennis Japanese character songs while doing my Spanish homework and thinking in English XDDD

8. I take good care of my books and I hate it when my family comes in and flips them just because they're laying there so I'm all like RESPECT BOOKS DAMMIT! But last night, I accidentally dropped the book I was reading on the sidewalk as I was leaving the place I took my lunch break in and the top part of the spine was dented. I FELT SO GUILTY. PLEASE stop trying to 'keep up with the Jones' or whoever the hell you're trying to keep up with so that we don't have to listen to Christmas music THIS FREAKING EARLY!!! Dude seriously the people that make these decisions to put on the Christmas music this early are the ones that DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO IT! I heard 'THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY' four times in less than a half hour last night. FOUR TIMES IN LESS THAN A HALF HOUR!!! It also happens to be my least favorite Christmas song ever, I hate the Pa ra pa pum pum or however you spell it.

WHO'S READY FOR THIS SEMESTER TO BE OVER? *RAISES HAND AND WAVES IT WILDLY* I'm so not looking forward to the holidays this year...rarrrgh although I DO have a hella awesome schedule for 'Black Friday' (aka the day after Thanksgiving) I work 6 to 3 and then on Saturday I work 3 to Midnight (although we'll probably leave earlier than that at least I hope so! Vacation is great so far although I've found I'm getting really tired faster than I usually do! ARGH XD We went to an Art/Science Museum today and an art exhibit. We also went to another branch of the store I work for and got ourselves some new tennis rackets. I hope to find a court or place to practice soon! These rackets are alot better than the old ones we have at home. I read an article on About dot Com that told me alot of things I didn't know and Tennis is has way more to it and the equipment than I thought! So now we have two rackets that are good for beginners. Mine is red just like Ryoma's XD although I didn't intend it that way, Red is my second favorite color, they didn't have any purple rackets XD ^_^V

FINALLY! After three years a real live vacation with travel! I'm not going to count the conventions I went to because they were more stress than anything else and entirely too short! Although I am planning on going to Anime South this December! ^_^

I'm taking my old laptop with me so I'll still check messages and everything on here XDD plus I wanna be able to watch Prince of Tennis while I'm gone too, LOL my new obsession, although it won't ever take the top spot, but I LOVE the characters. It's even inspired me to play tennis xD I dug out the tennis balls and old rackets and me and my sister tried to volley with disastrous results yesterday XD then we went swimming because we were sweating so much LOL

Well I gotta finish packing then tomorrow we're going to the college to get some paperwork done and rent out books and then hit the road! ^_^ whee! I can't wait for the next semester even though it means I don't have any real days off anymore! CREATIVE WRITING CLASS YOU HEAR? OMG it's gonna be so awesome! 2. What's your favorite color?: Purple!

3. What's your favorite food?: It WAS Macaroni and cheese until I went on this diet, but now it's either Chicken and rice soup or Chicken Caesar salad

4. Are you a squeamish person?: YES, at most nasty things except for the sight of blood, that looks cool, but only if it's JUST BLOOD and not alot of other stuff.

5. What's your favorite animal?: Dolphins! They're so cute! I had a dream I was swimming with dolphins the other day! Emishi likes them too XD

6. Biggest pet peeve?: STUPID AND RUDE CUSTOMERS, I could be here for days listing all the things they do that drive me crazy.

7. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?: JAPAN!!!!! <3

8. Do you cry easily?: Actually yes, but usually not at work unless my feelings are hurt really bad. I cry at nearly every movie I watch though.

Do you have many phobias?: I'm mildly afraid of heights, mostly of being on ladders...and I'm DEATHLY AFRAID of open water, I also think about what if I lost a member of my family far too often for my own good, especially since one of my coworkers died in a car accident I'm so scared of that happening to one of my own.

13. What's your thoughts on homosexuals?: I don't think they should be defined solely by their sexual orientation. Straight people aren't defined by their straightness! People don't go around thinking HEY LOOK THERE'S A STRAIGHT DUDE *SNICKER* instead they're grouped by what they do, not what gender they're attracted to! I love gay people and I have some gay and bi friends so I don't really think they're different from anyone else and should be treated equally.

14. Are you a trendsetter, a trend follower, or do you dress originally?: I could care less about trends and fashion, I wear what's comfortable or what I think is cute or whatever.

15. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?: Yes, because I was following the 'eye for an eye' thing. When I was a kid I got really mad at my little brother and I threw a cup at him and it ended up dinging him in the head and giving him a nasty bump, so I thought to be fair I'd inflict the same thing on myself as a sort of penance, argh I know I'm weird! I would also bite my hand if I got really mad to keep me from screaming. That's all in the past now though LOL

16. Do you like school?: I love college! It's really cool and I love learning and being on campus, although it makes me wish I could get the full college experience, but I guess I'm a bit old for that now XD

I dunno what happened with my last entry, but it seemed that the whole thing was a big link to Photobucket! well hopefully this one isn't messed up.

My mom was watching a video on the computer earlier about the new wave of computer technology. It's alot like what you see in those science fiction movies. Table tops and counters can become a computer using sophisticated camera technology underneath. They said in about 4 years, everyone will have one. For now they said Casinos and Bars and fancy restaurants will be getting them first at $5000 to $10,000 a pop. You'll be able to pay your bill at a restaurant by just putting your credit card on the table and the tabletop computer READS IT AND PAYS FOR YOU you just have to tell it how much to tip. AMAZING! My mom never thought something like that could be possible and I'm like HA SEE I TOLD YOU! I read a novel once where computer screens were linked up to a pair of glasses and the keyboard became a virtual display in front of you and you typed on it and it appeared in the glasses screen. This tabletop computer actually doesn't require a keyboard or mouse AT ALL. It's like a huge touch screen, although I do think they're be a way to type with a virtual keyboard on the screen like I mentioned above XD... UNLESS IT'S ALL VOICE ACTIVATED. Whoa.

In other news, I've been on this new diet for about two weeks and I've lost about 10 pounds! I'm very happy and inspired by this and I hope to continue losing weight so I can be more healthy and get off of my insulin medication, and stuff ^_^

I also want to start spending time doing actual writing of stories now. I have so many ideas but I've never actually sat down and wrote them out, I just plan them and make notes and create characters. For 'Scott the ^wannabe Destroyer' I have a big notepad filled with notes and I think I should really make solid bios for the characters. I've learned alot about them these past few months.

I also think that my interpretation of what is artistic vision is widely different from my sister's. She created a beautiful charcoal piece last night but she used a stock photo as reference like drew it and shaded it exactly as she saw in the photo. That's amazing in itself, I guess I just don't understand traditional art. To me, art comes from INSIDE YOU. Like you bringing the images in your head out onto the paper or the screen and it's like complete true originality. I dunno, that's how I feel and I guess it's got alot to do with being a writer and not really an artist. I draw just for fun and because I like to see the images in my head on paper, I've never ever studied any traditional art, and I'm mostly like a comic artist.

Thoughts? Feelings? I have to go to work now.

I had a pretty good week! Me and my sister went to the Aquarium on Tuesday and I got a stuffed sea turtle that I named Jhonen XD I'm on this new diet now too and despite all the protein I'm eating, I still feel hungry ALOT. I haven't drank my precious Coca Cola in like a week now but I know I'll survive because I gave up soda for this past Lent. (I'm not Catholic, I just wanted to give up something for Lent as a symbolic guesture)

Work was alright for the rest of the week although I don't get another day off until THURSDAY! I got two shorter shifts this week though, and I GET SATURDAY OFF *GASP* I'll probably go to the Casino XD I also finally got my tuition assistance from work and paid off a good chunk of my credit card bill. YAY! Unfortunately, I won't get to take my vacation until August, the week before I start back to college. Oh wellz, it's the only time my sis could also get hers! Better than nothing, eh? Plus I'll be able to take another vacation during the fall ^___________^

I'm getting on a Get Backers kick, but I seriously need to do some more original drawings and I also wanted to draw fanart for one of my buddies too. I also think I'm going to watch Independence Day the movie cuz it's almost July 4th XD

I was tired of having that quiz on my page XD so today I bring to you! ADVENTURES IN XENOBIOLOGY! Or maybe not. I just finished reading Ender's Game and it was FANTASTIC! I want to read ALL of the Ender series! I have a boxset but the second two books ARE OUT OF ORDER! I want to order them online but then I'm like well what if they have them at Barnes and Noble? I work an opening shift tomorrow so I figured I could go check and see what they have. Also the new Host Club manga is out so I gotta order that too! OH BOOKS HOW I LOVE YOU! Orson Scott Card RULES and he also wrote two books to help aspiring science fiction authors!

Anybody heard of 'Roughnecks: Starship Troopers'? I used to wake up early to watch that show back in the day! I found out you can buy the whole series on DVD and I want to get it as soon as possible. They had a really cool alien guy on there too!

Not feeling too good today. Heather at work called me 'Frogger' cuz I was croaking like a FROG at work today, it was so hard when my throat was hurting so badly and I had to answer phones and talk to the customers. Our District manager called and I answered in my froggy voice and she said I wasn't allowed to answer the phone anymore after that, which was a relief but I was embarassed. Oh well. I asked my boss if I could go home at 2 when the closing people came in (there were no call outs for the closers RIGHT IT DOWN IN THE RECORD BOOK) and I got off the register but my drawer was short ALOT of money and they took 45 minutes fixing everything X_x Larry really bailed me out of that one, and I realized how much they love me at my job and I was grateful for that.

I'm feeling a little better now although I wish I could've come home earlier, my throat is still hurting though and please tell me why they don't have a freaking plain 'SICK' on the mood indicator down there! RAR!

When I got home I had two packages YAY and one was the Treasure Planet DVD I won off of eBay over a MONTH ago and it didn't even come in a case, it was just a DISC in a small paper and plastic holder o_O and IT SKIPPED ON ONE OF THE MOST EXCITING PARTS which pissed me off. I'm wondering if I should bother to give any feedback on that item on eBay at all X_x I'm never buying from that person again RAR! The other package was from Slave Labor Graphics and was the two 'I Feel Sick' comics I swear I just ordered like a day ago and I ALREADY HAVE THEM WOW. I didn't know they were going to be in full color, that was a pleasant surprise and I find that I LOVE THEM WHOO!

I'm so glad I don't have to go into work early tomorrow, I'm closing so I'll be able to sleep late. I'm contemplating taking a nap right now, but I dunno, I think I wanna work on some drawings or read more, not sure. Argh darn you throat! And now I'm hungry again. Heh.

Well I finally finished RED MARS the novel by Kim Stanley Robinson that I've been reading for weeks now! That thing is really thick man! Now I get to read Green Mars and then Blue Mars! I can't wait to see what happens! He's a seriously good author and there's so much science in there! Sometimes I wish I were better at math so I could be a scientist, but I like being creative too ^_^ science IS quite awesome though! I plan on collecting all the books by KSR soon! What a cool author name right? He rocks!

I've been sick the past couple of days, but nothing TOO major. It hurts when I sneeze and throat hurty and stuff, but I'll survive. I sure hope so since I have to open tomorrow! Argh I hate you Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! One of these days I'll get a weekend off *sigh*

...and not a drop to drink! We had a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE thunderstorm last night and alot of places FLOODED. I was working a late shift last night and it had been raining since after I came back from lunch in varying degrees of severity. They let us go at about 10 instead of 11, and it was POURING. I really wanted to go home so I walked through the rain as covered with my jacket as I could be and I still got completely soaked X_x my shoes and socks were sopping, I could squeeze water out of my jacket and 75% of my pants were soaked!

It was HORRIBLE and I hit a big sheet of water when I was nearly at the turning point off the highway and when I went to turn onto the road I live off of IT WAS A HUGE MASS OF WATER and flooded and SOMEBODY WAS STUCK IN THE DITCH and there was another car that was in the way so I couldn't go that way! Luckily there's a subdivision about a mile down that connects to the street I live off of so I went through that way and it ended up my BROTHER WAS BEHIND ME IN HIS TRUCK. OMFG I was so scared...it was REALLY DARK and there was SO MUCH WATER...one point I almost went into the ditch X_x I was just so effing happy to make it home! It kept raining all night and some this morning and the water was up really high in the yard like 10 feet from the house O_O

It's gone down alot now, I went outside earlier and walked around in it XD I haven't seen that much water in our yard since the flood of May 1995!!! Yeah so that was amusing LOL I feel much better about everything now...and I finished reading Johnny the Homicidal Maniac this morning! The ending was pretty good, leaving room for more but still at least somewhat conclusive for the storyline that was going. Sadly, WE'RE OUT OF COCA COLA AND MY BROTHER OWES ME! I told him to buy some on his way home but he said he'll get it after work. SO NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TIL LIKE MIDNIGHT TO GET SOME! I think there's one can left in the refridgerator WAHHH LOL I like my softdrinks too much! I'm off to draw now!

I FINALLY GOT AN INDEPENDENCE DAY DVD! EVERYONE REJOICE! My Will Smith DVD collection is one step closer to completion! After getting sniped so many freaking times on eBay I found the Special Edition DVD of it AT WALMART OF ALL PLACES! FOR REALLY CHEAP! So today after work I went and bought one and watched it with glee! ^______^ hehehe! It's such a good movie! Although the aliens are FREAKY and mean!

Did you know they have a manga that's about Kabuki? I had an idea for a story involving Kabuki, but I wasn't sure if it was a forbidden topic for stories. APPARENTLY NOT! XD I saw it at the bookstore and I was like ARGH THEY STOLE MY IDEA LOL but obviously they didn't because the storyline I have in my head is very different from this one. But you know I bought it anyway...BOOKS HOW I LOVE THEE XD I'm a little over halfway through Red Mars and I already bought Green Mars and Blue Mars to read afterwards XD Kim Stanley Robinson rules! He's my favorite scifi author and I want to collect ALL his books. Even if he doesn't write about aliens and stuff I just love how he mixes real science into the story and then talks about politics, never been my favorite subject, but I do find it interesting. He's a great author.

My aunt is over tonight and her and my mom are being so loud XD they're just as bad as me and my sister are! XD man I need to draw some more. I think they'd be the same in any language unless you want me to Japanese-ize their names that'll be fun!: Sukotto and Bajiru Jokka and Tikka would be the same

Scott and Vergil are 12, Jokka's 18, and Tikka's 14

Scott and Vergil are human and Jokka and Tikka are Davikian (an alien race I created (C) to me)

Scott: no everyone thinks he's a psycho he tricked Vergil into working with him, and the person he's closest to is his butler Nester who raised him.

I just want an Independence Day DVD, IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK FOR?! I've been sniped on eBay TWICE already on that DVD and it's just fueling my anger and competitiveness and I'M GONNA GET ONE! I would buy it from Best Buy, but they don't have it either! The only one they have is in a combo pack with another movie online and you can't use the Reward Zone certificates ONLINE GRRRR! They also have the widescreen version coming out or something and that's only available with pre-order. You see, I MUST have this DVD for my Will Smith movie collection! I LOVE WILL SMITH!

I also wish my Treasure Planet DVD and my JTHM comics would get here! I got those off of eBay no problem. XD I love eBay but man there's alot of competition there! Zim stuff is really high in demand too I was surprised!

I also might do the DA karaoke XD since alot of people on my f-list are doing that and...I LOVE SINGING. It would just be so freakin' hard for me to pick a song! XD Maybe a Sinatra song...oooh.

Nicktoons Network decided to take Invader Zim away from it's Midnight to 1am timeslot and stick it at 4 am (all times central) instead. FOUR AM TO FIVE AM?!!!!!! WTF! I know I know, I have all the DVDs, but I'm really going to miss watching Zim on Nicktoons Network every weekday! I never would've gotten so into Zim had it not be for the Nicktoons Network.

In other news...I like drawing. ^_^ Even though I'm not an ARTEEST I still really enjoy drawing. It can be relaxing and it's really awesome to draw and watch a movie at the same time. Look for some new from from me soon!

I swiped this quiz from it was on her journal and since I'm in the process of developing my characters I figured that 'asking' them questions or 'interviewing' them would help me bring out and develop their personalities and stuff better. Characters Chosen and a brief description of each:

Scott: crazy ambitious anti-hero boy, hates aliens and wants to destroy them all. He was raised by his Butler Nester because his father disappeared when he was 3 and his mother is a famous lawyer who's always working. He has very poor people skills and is completely fearless. He doesn't know when to quit.

Vergil: Scott's subordinate who is the techno geek and intelligence guy. He's almost the complete opposite of Scott, and they kind've have a reluctant friendship. Scott bribed him into 'working' for him with all the technology he can buy XD

Jokka: the easy-going Davikian alien from a primitive planet that had never made outside contact with other races until Scott and Vergil crashed on his planet. He's a genuinely nice guy who feels isolated from most of his race because he's different. He's always aware of everything that's going on and is usually the first to notice things (SQUEE I LOVE JOKKA) He also has a Jamaican accent.

Tikka: Jokka's younger sister, a Davikian female trickster who is always up to some kind of prank. She's on the ditzy side and will stare into space for hours if no one stops her. She loves all types of animal life forms, and has a crush on Scott, much to his complete disgust.
