Knowing my luck whenever I post up commissions, I probably won’t get much back on this, but, it’s worth a try! I am opening up for commissions for cute little paperchild keychain things! I am in need of money, and I thought these would be a great way to make some… they’re fun and easy for me to make, and cute for everyone :3

Keychains will be front and back, ink and colored drawings of whatever character(s) you want, carefully cut and pasted together, and then laminated and stuck on a key-ring or little cell-phone lanyard, whichever you want. I also have beads out of my personal collection I can add as extra dangly bits if you want, but they cost a little extra (I’m charging by-the-bead for them).

As a sample, here’s the one I did as a gift for my girlfriend. It’s her character Dmitry. Baw, isn’t he adorable~?
front and back scans: [link]
on an actual lanyard: [link]

I am selling these at $10 USD a piece for single-character keychains, and $15 for two-character ones, plus $2 shipping. You *are* getting the original artwork in the keychain, not a print out, and I scan both front and back images before laminating :3

If you want one, please PM me with:
-References/descriptions of who you want the keychain of, as well as if you want anything specific you want for the pose. They will all be &#145icking up’ poses, as that’s what works best for keychains, but there are certainly a lot of ways to pick up tiny little paperchild character!
As far as what I will do for these:
Original characters are preferred, but I am willing to do fanart ones (hell, I'm planning on making a L4D smoker infected one for myself!). I'll do both male and female characters. Just please don't give me anything with like.. super-complicated hair, tattoos, or outfits, because these are really small, as you can see from Dmitry! XD
Even though these are keychains, I suppose I can do nude ones for you if you want, just, you'know, be careful with that in public if you want that XD

-What kind of key ring/lanyard you want. What I have is here: [link]

-What extra beads you want, if any. If you want them I need to know which ones you want and how many of each, and if you want them strung in a specific order. I can do multiple bead danglies, or string them between the character and the key ring, whatever you like.
My beads with prices are here:
-beads 1 [link]
-beads 2 [link]
-beads 3 [link]

It would really mean a whole lot to me if people actually *would* buy some of these from me… I’m using the money to replace something very special to me that I stupidly got rid of several years ago while I was clearing out some of my things. I didn’t realize at the time how much it really meant to me, and I would like to replace it and not have to feel shitty every time I think about it. It would mean so much to me if I could have a hand in getting it back, as a sort of giftmas present for myself. These are *only* $12 ($17 if you are getting two characters), and that really isn’t a whole lot, and you get something *so* cute out of it, and I just can’t stress enough how much it would mean to me if I did get a couple of takers on this!

So here’s hoping for the best, and wishing everyone a happy holiday season, and thanks in advance to anyone who buys one of these from me!

My birthday is coming up! September 5'th, and I'll be 23 years old. My parents are taking me to new York for a show (Lion King) and we get to go out to this cool bbq place. And has also said they are getting me a Mayan book I've been wanting for a while, so I am very excited.

Also, also, look at this adorable little baby trilobite: [link] I really really want it, it's so cute ;3; (no, I don't feel nerdy over that at all, no~). I might try and get it as a birthday gift for myself if it stays within my price range (or someone else can try and get it for me if you want to spend money on me XD). I think it will go nicely with the big one I got when I was little.
[link]

On another note, I have been sculpting little hand-beads: [link] They are really pretty neat. I think I'm gonna make more... will probably paint some in bright colors and a few in other skin tones, and leave a few natural like that. I am *planning* on putting them up on Etsy for $7 a piece. If anyone over here is interested in them and thinks they're cool though, let me know, alright? :3

Back from Otakon! I had such a great time this year.

I decided that I wanted to go and do the actual con this year instead of doing Artist Alley like I had the past two years, so me and my girlfriend got to run around in cosplay the whole weekend. I was dressed as Schrodinger from Hellsing most of the time, although we did out Trickster cosplay (raccoon and sheep) for a little while on Friday. Saturday my girlfriend was dressed as Dr. Franken Stein from Soul Eater in the morning, and then Kiki from Kiki's delivery service in the afternoon and evening. I was very happy to get to go and do my first actual group photo shoot on Saturday with the Hellsing group, which was originally supposed to be at 1 but apparently got rescheduled to 7 at the outdoor fountains XD... none the less, it was ridiculously awesome, and ridiculously silly. There was a really awesome Walter cosplayer (nom) and I ended up as a Schro-sandwhich between him and two other Walters at one point, which I was all too happy about XD Unfortunately we didn't really get any photos from that shoot ourselves, but I had cards to hand out to people who took photos, and thankfully I got some back.
(These are not *my* photos, but photos of the Hellsing shoot I was in (as well as the shoot that was on Friday) can be found here:
[link])

And the pictures that me and my girlfriend took over the course of the entire con can be found here:
[link]

Hey, is there/does anyone know of a way to keep cats (or in my case just *a* cat) away from my house? There is this outdoor cat that roams around my area of the neighborhood (technically, I think it belongs to the people across the street, but I don't think they actually take care of it more than leaving food out for it). The problem with this cat, is that it likes to come up and sit in our front windows at night, right where *my* cat likes to sit and look *out*. She's such a sweet old lap-kitty, but this other cat just riles her up to no end. If she sees him, she gets all puffed up and hisses and attacks the window, and the outdoor cat won't go away unless we really bang on the windows to scare him off, or like tonight when I had to go chase him off with a broom. We've tried keeping the blinds down so she won't see him, but she just paws through the blinds to look out the window, and if he's there she'll get stuck in them attacking him through the window.

Any ideas what to do? I am very tempted to go over to the neighbor's house (who I am pretty sure own the cat) and ask them to do something about him, although I doubt they will. I just really don't want to call like... animal control or something like that :<

I have had a sort of bump on my forehead for years now, right above my hairline where you would think a unicorn horn would sit, and so that is what I tend to call it. (I like freaking people out by making them touch it when they don't believe me)... unfortunately it makes hard-brimmed hats hard to wear because they make it sore, and there are two others on the side of my head that make it so I cannot lean that side of my head against hard surfaces.

Recently, though, I have found out that they are in fact sebaceous cysts, and I will thankfully be getting them removed this Friday. Oh, I'm certainly not looking forwards to being in the hospital again, but hey, I'll be able to wear hats again. XD

So, because I was so caught up in my Otakon stuff, I didn't even realize that it was August, and what comes after August? September. And what's on September 5'th? My Birthday.... I'll be 22! Hooray!... I don't really feel 22, thoiugh, which I guess is a little funny. Haha.

Anyway, I am thinking about getting myself a new doll for my birthday... an adorable, itty bity Puki (from FairyLand, if I'm not mistaken). I'm going to mod him into my newest character, Cillian (who I haven't even shown you yet! But he's pretty damned cute! ^^).
So, what I thought I might do, since it's a birthday gift, is ask if you guys could help me out! If you wanted to get me something for my birthday, please, feel free to make me a small donation into my doll fund. Something small, like $5 or $10 maybe. And please, I don't want to sound like I'm begging or demanding. I don't *need* you to donate, so please only do so if you *want* to.
As a thank you for anyone who helps me out, I'll do individual thank-you sketches, just for you guys! And of course, I love you all so much, even if you don't donate.

If you *would* like to donate, please click here:
[link]
(if this link doesn't work, let me know and I'll try to de-bug it. I know that DA doesn't really like me when it comes to these sorts of things x.x)

Also, I will hopefully soon be putting up my left-over merchandise from Otakon up for sale, with my Sunday Ota sale prices! So that means cheap hats, prints, and stickers, if you want them!

First off.... oh man, I love my job. Especially on Saturdays. Because i get to bring home SO MUCH FRUIT. Because if we have extra cut on Saturday, we can't keep it over the weekend. So, we get to take it home. And it's so~ yummy. I even got chocolate covered strawberries this week 83

In other news.... OTAKON. Oh damn. It snuck up on me D:.... I have an artist alley table, ALL to myself this year. Hooray! So if you are going, please stop by and say hello! Or, even better, come throw money at me. I'll have art prints, stickers, Pocket Shota, fleece hats (hand made, with cute animal ears!... These *really* need to be sold, and are only $15 a pop, so please, please, please come by and buy one of you can!), a few hand sewn ABJD clothes (msd size, made on a boy doll), and my special doll horns, that attach right into the wig! I made a lot of 'micro' pairs this year, just because they were so cute! So please, if you have a doll, come by and pick some up. I am at table N4, which is pretty close to the middle of the Artist Alley.

For any doll people going- I am also planning on going to the swap meet that is... Saturday, right? I'll check DOA again for everything, but I should be there, and will also have doll horns for sale at that (and will be bringing Orange along to share, even though he still has no arms! XD)

I will also be cosplaying as the raccoon from Trickster Online, and my friend Vicky is dressing as the sheep :3... I will likely wear the costume all three days, because I sort of like it XD

Hope to see you all there!

So, just over this past weekend my grandfather in Ohio passed away, so we've gone up there for the memorial and service. It was a very nice service- very friendly and open, and not very formal. Which I liked very much. My grandfather was a very happy, easy-going person, and it was very well suited for him. Very much a celebration of his life, and the good times we had with him.
And for me, that worked perfectly fine. I don't necessarily get upset or feel very sad at funerals. I just think that I sort of understand that it's something that happens, that it's just a part of life and that the best thing I can do is to celebrate what time we had with them. I mean, I miss my grandfather, but, I know that he had a good, long, happy life, and to tell the truth I think he'd rather have us celebrate him like that.

Now it's really interesting to find some things out about my grandfather. I'd known he was a Shriner, but I'd never known he was a Freemason and a Scottish Wright (did I spell that correctly?). We also found his discharge papers from when he was in the navy. Apparently when he went to enlist, he wanted to go to the marines, but when he found that the time between when he enlisted and when he would be shipped off was too long for his liking, he apparently walked across the hall and signed up with the navy instead. It's just... really interesting to find out so many things about him, and all these stories I'd never known before.

Of course, now that he's not in the house, my grandmother has been letting the family divvy up most of his things, and I've ended up with some interesting things. Some jewelry, including some very nice things he'd made, a beautiful gold winding pocket-watch where you can see the cogs working (as well as a whole box of old watches that me and my father have to split up, for him to keep and me to take apart for the cogs and bits), a pair of vintage presidential pins (one for Nixon and one for Goldwater), and a very beautiful wall hanging piece, a world map in brass framed by cut board. I will have to get a photo of it, because there's really no way for me to describe it properly.

So now of course I have to get back from Ohio, and get cooking on getting my Otakon stuff done. Of course, I have surgery next week as well to worry about (getting my wisdom teeth out) so, we'll see what happens with everything.

First off, I promise new art when I get back from work today! I have two things that are just abvout done, one that's being left in ink, and one that just needs color, and a plethora of new sketches and crap to toss in my scraps for you, so make sure to keep an eye out for that.

Anyway...

So this weekend I took a trip to visit my friend Vicky, which was quite an adventure, seeing as I had to takt two trains to get up there, and did it all by myself (which for me is quite an achievement). When I got on my first train at Marcus Hook on Sunday afternoon, the ticket booth was not open, and so I had to buy it on the train. I told the guy I wanted a transfer ticket because I had to hop trains halfweay up, and I knew a transfer ticket was way cheaper since I'd done that before on a different trip, but he only charged me for the one ticket, and gave me the wrong thing. So when I got into Philly I had to buy my second ticket there. Really wish the guy had given me the right thing, but oh-well. When I finally got up to where I was meeting Vicky, at the Lansdale, her and her mum met me with a sign with a print out of one of my pictures (a sketch of Engel's dog, Bär, from that collection of Engel sketches in my scraps), which was quite adorable! It was late and I fell alseep in the car on the way back to the house a little, but woke up when we got close, and Vicky and I had a pretty awesome evening just chilling out and chatting and sharing comics and yaoi and what-not. Her dog, Cleo, totally loved me since I absolutely loved petting her. Such a sweet dog.
Monday we watches part of 'One Stormy Night', which is freakin adorable and so very very gay (in the best sense), and then played old N64 pokemanz games (Stadium, mostly just the minigames. Mmmm~, old-school pokemans=z, yum!). Later in the day her and I and her mum all went to Dorney and had a blast there (where I also picked up a necklace with a real scorpion in it), and then it started to rain. But that was fine, since we'd been expecting it, and we got in all of our coaster fixes so we were all happy. We also hit a $1 store on the way home and loaded up on candy, and stopped by Vicky's dad's house where her and her dad's girlfriend were working on her cosplay dress for the Trickster sheep/Quinne so that I could see the progress. There's only a little done, but I must say, I really can't wait to see it all finished, because it's going to be adorable!
Tuesday I was supposed to go home, but we picked a later train because of Vickyu's mum's work, so Vicky and I lazed around the house for most of the day, and watched Sweeny Tod (which I had somehow not seen yet! I much enjoyed it, though :3). Vicky also introduced me to the hilarity that is daytime television- Oh Jerry Springer, so entertainling!
When Vicky's mum got home, I was packed and ready, and we had to really race to try and catch my train, which we missed by a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, any public transportation that touches Wilmington *imidiatly* becomes retarded, so, the next pair of trains that would have gotten me down there would have entailed a two hour wait in Philly, and would have been too late for me to catch a bus back to my house.
Originally we decided to drive me back to my house from there, but I'm notoriously bad with directions, mostly because I DON'T DRIVE. So, instead I pulled out the train scedules, and we looked to see if there was one I could catch the next morning (today), which worked out fine. We caught dinner on the drive back from that, and I had a cheeseburger and we joked about them adopting me. O the finally drive home rom thereoss a whole herd of deer! They were so close to the road, and since there were no other cars, we stopped to watch them. We spotted one mother with a fawn, still with spots, and even had FIVE young bucks cross the road right in front of the car. It was really awesome to see!
Finally this'morning I got on the train to get home. Of course, that entailed us all getting up at five in the morning (which is no trouble for me, since I normally wake up that time *anyway*... oh, silly body-clock!), and then driving out at around 6:30 or so. There was no trouble getting up to the station this time, and I was able to get the proper transfer ticket this time. Vicky's mum even gave me a couple dollars to get something to eat, which I was very thankful for when I got to Philly, and got a donut and a hot chocolate at the Dunkin Donuts that was in the station. Finally I got back into Wilmington and hopped on my bus home (which was perfectly timed, which surprised me) and had around 2 hours at home to chill and eat before heading to work.
Really, it was a great weekend, and I can't wait to visit Vicky again (or have her come down here).

In other news, I should mention that I have a growing love for Tzekel-Kan, the high-priest/villain from Road to El Dorado, if anyone remembers that movie. Why is ther...

Hey, thought I'd take a minute and tell you guys about my day on Sunday. My friend David, , invited me to go with him to the Philly Pride parade and festival, and we had a great time! Thankfully, we both remembered to bring water bottles, because it was deathly hot out, but *unfortunatly* we *both* forgot to put on sun screen, and we were in the hot sun for around 7 hours. I paid dearly for that with a terrible sunburn, the worst of it on my shoulders. But that was the only bad part of it.

So we took the train up to Philly in the morning, and got there a little before the parade, which was good 'cause it gave us time to find a spot and chill. We med a very nice older couple who let us take a picture of them, which was cool 'casue I love seeing older gay couples :3. The parade was a little late starting, and had a pack of runners head off before it (could you imagin running in *that* heat? Ugh!), ans then the floats and stuff finally started. There were alot of really nice things, like an awesome group of flag people (gods, I can't remember what they're called!) who had these pretty orange flags they were twirling and tossing, a float with some bondage leather fellows (one of which hit on David which made him very happy), and I think everyone's *favorite* float, a swim team that was riding around in a pick up truck with the back full of water (they were all in little speedos!) who had squirtguns to spray the crowd. Alot of the groups were throwing candy and beads, which I was very deft at diving for and catching, as well as condoms (and condom pops, which I stuck in my hair since I was wearing it up). When we'd seen the parade go by, we all followed it back down to where the performance station was, collecting more goodies along the way.
At the performance station, we ended up near a protester (not a group of them, just one lone fellow with a sign and shouting at people) who we all had a fabulous time yelling back at. David remembered seeing the man from a previous gay pride event, and knew how easily he could be squicked out by us. One of my favorites was when the church communities accepting and open to gays were coming by and he was yelling that they were 'the church of the devil', to which I shouted back, 'if it's the church of the devil, then praise Satan!'. Although the best was when a small group of people in support of the deaf came by, and he shouted at them. They're *deaf*, then can't hear you! Oh protesters, how silly you be.

After the parade had totally finished, David and I took a break and went for lunch at a nice little deli restraunt, where we entirely relished their air conditioning, and had some *delicious* sandwiches. Then it was off to the festival! There was a bit of a line to get in, which was fine, because you had to have a wrist band to get in (which we'd picked up at the parade). Most of the festival was vendors (which we heard some girl describe as being, 'the gayest flea market ever&#039, but we found that Shampoo (a local dance club, for those of you not from the area) had put on a dance in some parking lot, so we skidadled down there to that. Especially because they had a hose, which everyone was very thankful for, and got *sopping* wet with. We had a great time at the dance, since there were a pair of male dancers from the club there performing, and I even got to get up and dance on the block myself at one point, which got alot of cheering, and a couple of compliments afterwards. I even got to add to my loot a cat plush, which two guys had found that someone had dropped and weren't sure what to do with, and when I mentioned to them that I had seem some lady giving them to young kids who had been in the parade, they gave it to me and said I could have it, which was nice. I also got a free cd that the Shampoo dj was giving out at the and of the dance with other goodies :3
At the end of the day, we strolled back to the train station, worn and tired from the heat and dancing, and ended up running into another girl who had been at the event. It turned out that she was taking the same train as we were, and so we had a great time talking with her the whole way back.

I would *definitely* go again next year!

In other news, I need to do more art. I've been distracted with work (where I am now, actually, lulz), and lots of rp and talk of cosplay with my friend Vicky, .
So I was taking a basket weaving class with my mum that I finished this Thursday. My basket came out wonderful! It's so pretty looking. I'm sort of debating weather or not I want a stain on it or if I want to leave it natural... I sort of like the way it looks now, so I might just leave it.

Anyway, when I brought it home, I was happy to find that it was just big enough for my cat to curl up in, when I put some towels in the bottom of it for her, since she totally loves to try and get in baskets and boxes, and is well known for trying to squish herself into shoe-boxes that are too small for her to fit, and so she sort of blobs over the sides of them. XD But she looks totally adorable curled up in the basket I made :3

[link]

On another note, I picked up this wonderfully horrible fabric awhile ago. Do be careful looking at it, as it *will* hurt your eyes:
[link]

I saw it, and I new I had to get it, because I really want to make something for one of my ball jointed dolls with it... my little Liam is an adorable little crossdesser (basically just my excuse to get to make cute, frilly little girly things XD), but he's also supposed to have horrible fashion sense. Well, everything I've made for him so far has been super-cute, and really works well together, so I knew this fabric was a perfect chance to make something for him that would be utterly painful to look at XD.... only thing is, now I can't decide what I want to make! Does anyone have any ideas/design suggestions? I make all my own patterns, so don't worry about having to provide that, just ideas :3
