It was Congressman David Dreier's, 2010 Congressional Art Contest "An Artistic Discovery" Awards Ceremony that included 70 art pieces from a total of 49 artists.  I had 4 pieces in there that included "Blue Heart, Black Eyes", "Bobwhite", "Rommel's Delight", and with the one piece with multiple pieces "Owl, Cat, Crow."
So wow.  In June I am going to Washington DC for my "Owl, Cat, Crow" to hang in the Cannon Tunnel to the Nation's Capital.  It really is a true honor for me.  Wow.

Well, this year was the 34th annual San Dimas Festival of Arts, and I actually won the Best Of Show category in the student art contest.  My Bobwhite Quail was the winning piece.  I took home a check of 200$.  Wow I am just so happy.

I was getting tired of not updating my journal.

In other news.  If some of you have noticed.  I havn't been on DA for a while.  No it isn't boring me.  I just haven't gotten the chance to actually go on and post art other than my art homework for school.  I still draw alot, but currently I have been working on my manga and the characters etc.  I also haven't gotten a chance to see many of my freind's and watchers works... currently I have 295 deviations from my friends that I haven't gotten a chance to view.
