I'm still around and drawing, but the reason I don't upload is because I don't finish most drawings @_@ I should work that out.

I heard a lot of good things about it, so I bought "Drawing on the right side of the brain". For what I've read, it seems like a good book.

I went to Monterrey to visit some cousins and uncles I have around there, and that made me realize it's not that hard to visit U.S.A. so I might go to Texas in a couple of years.

So... about my life: Here in Mexico all guys have to do Militar Service for a year when they turn 18. Actually, some of them (I would say most of them) are just in the Service as "reserve" or something like that, and only an small 15% (that was the proportion in my town) have to make some work, wich means going to certain regiment each saturday for a year.

So, to choose those 15% from those people they make a drawing/lottery/whatever, where each person gets either a black ball (wich means "no service") or a white ball (Wich means you need to go each weekend... blegh).

And... I got White Ball... yup...

Um... and I think that's the only interesting thing that has happened lately... (Ok, I just try to make it soung interesting)

About my drawings:
For the last months I've been feeling pretty bad about my drawings, I've been thinking that they suck, that I should quit drawing, etc. But I got inspired by this thread:

yup, check that out, shows that practice does help a lot. So, I've decided to take some drawing lessons from an art teacher that there is in my college. This last months I've been taking Watercolors and Color Pencils lessons with her, but my way of thinking (My drawing sucks, this painting is so bad, etc.) made me quit Color Pencils and almost quit Watercolors (Now I'm glad I didn't).

So, next year I will take some pencil drawing lessons with her and maybe after that some oils or charcoal, that while still practicing Watercolors.

I will post the paintings I did later. They are not very good but now I think they are not that bad for someone who is practically new to watercolors.

I might as well finish the drawing I was making on color pencils, who knows.

a) Nobody would have been able to see it if they didn't had a dA account
b) If they had the dA account then they had to activate the "Show mature content" option.

So, since then I don't post links to main pages and only to pictures, but now, I posted a link to this picture:

And I got moderated because the gallery had "questionable pictures"!
Seriously, that practically means I would have to save the picture, and upload it again to some other place like Imageshack just so somebody could see it, but it sounds stupid to me, because then I can't post a link to almost any artist I like from dA, because most of them have at least one "questionable picture" in their galleries. (Wich, again, you are not supposed to be able to see).

Now, I won't surprised if I can't even give proper credit to an artist because doing so may result in people searching his dA gallery, and get offended because something they choose to see from the beginning.
