T-T I need some help again.
This time it's about my audio/Headset/Microphone.

I noticed two days ago that suddenly I could hear myself through my headset, even though I haven't changed any audio settings.
I hear a perfectly timed 'echo'of myself, as soon as I plug it in.

The sounds quality is brilliant though, which is weird because in Skype, Livestream AND Steam video games (L4D 2) my voice sounds muffled and all the surrounding noise is louder than my voice itself, making it hard for people to understand me at all.

In my frustration, I bought a new headset, this works fine too, only it has the exact same problems. So it must be something wrong with my audio settings, even though I haven't touched them.

I googled the problem, and the only advice people seem to give is to mute some setting- but this mutes my itunes and everything else too, which is ridiculous and doesn't solve my problems at all. Any advice and help is appreciated!

I have Windows XP.

Q: Where is the comic of these characters?
A: There is no comic. It has not been drawn yet.

Q: Can you link it?
A: As it's non-existant, I cannot.

Q: Can we see unfinished pages?
A: Sorry, no.

Q: wait, but you mentioned 6 pages, what about those?
A: Those are explicit material and so old, that I cannot link it (devArt terms of service) and do not want to link it. It also is no longer very relevant for the story and if you're not 18, you shouldn't even look for them. Also, it's gay. Quite literally.

Q: When will it be done?
A: I have no idea! 6_9 (no seriously. I have to work on it on my own free time between jobs and projects.)

Q: Will you be drawing an age meme for Kimi and Scott?
A: probably not, but I want to draw them seperately eventually. :3

Q: why not?
A: They are minor characters and simply not fleshed out enough yet. O;

Q: Are you joining DeviantDead?
A: No, the deadline for auditions are long past, but I also couldn't join because of a number of personal reasons sadly.

Q: How did the band members meet?
A: Some knew one another before, but how exactly, that is the content of the story itself so I won't spoil it. 8[

Q: What gave you the idea for Crash 'n' Burn?
A: Porn! and Music.

Q: Do they have a manager or is it just them?
A: They do end up having a manager at the end. :3 Her name is Eva, Scott's sister.


Q: Is CnB going to be an online comic orwill you print and publish it?
A: I don't know yet. I would love to see it printed though... <: (not sure about how to host mature content comics either. hmm)


Q: Is there by any chance a written down story?
A: Not in story-form, only a script, but it's outdated and half in German. Even if it were in English, I'd not share it, sorry.

Hi everyone!

How are you all doing lately?
I have been busily writing, drawing, and working, and I can't believe it's nearly the end of the year already. Shops are putting out christmas goods already here (we don't have thanksgiving, and Halloween is not as popular) and the lights are gonna be put into the trees soon I think.

In December, `Endling is going to visit me here in Germany, so I am terribly excited.
Right now I am saving up like mad to show him the surrounding beautiful cities, some museum tours and christmas markets.

Many of you have been waiting and waiting for updates on my artbook and now I am finally sick of waiting myself so I decided to go on ahead and promote it even if there's nothing of it available online.

What's been happening you ask? Well it's been released September 18th but the publisher has after 5 weeks still not put it in their online shop. Amazon is nearly sold out (1 copy left), so yeah. sucks balls and other things.

Still, even though it's not my job to do the selling, I want to show you what it looks like. :3

Livestream

Well I tried out some streaming a week ago and everything was terribly buggy and laggy. as a result, I havestopped using livestream and instead am now on justin.tv. It isn't as HQ, but it works lag-free.

[Update]

People have been asking me why I've stopped streaming regularly.
Actually I really want to. Unfortunately, Livestream has been acting up like crazy.
lags, problems going on air (sometimes have to retry 5 times), sound but no screen, etc etc.
What used to be a nice way of sharing has become an annoying battle with Procaster, that also occasionally crashes my computer.

Funnily enough, it got worse like this after an update of said progam.
So, my plan is to wait until they fix the problems since I am really fed up right now.

If you know of an easy alternative (not Ustream, not Tinychat plz) let me know!

Not only do I need to save up to be able to see `Endling again within this year, I also lost my job beginning of this month and must now make sure to keep those bills payed. :'C

Before I go into details with prices I have to clear up a few things. :I

Personal use only
These commissions are only for personal use. The creative rights belong to me unless otherwise stated in a written contract. (this does not mean your character belongs to me. only the image I've created.)

Prints and originals are not included
because I often work in Photoshop directly (except for the "Sketch" section) and any copy shop will print you a personal copy without expensive shipping cost. :3

Prices are per character.
but if you plan on ordering 3 or more, prices are negotiable.

Please refrain from telling me in this journal how you are broke or that my prices are too expensive. Trust me, I am jobless, I know how it is. And as for 'overpriced' art, please read my lecture on Commissions on Dacad.org [link] before making any offensive remarks.

Yes, finally I got my stuff together, looked through my camera and decided to make a little photo compilation and write a few lines about my last convention.

The MACon was pretty neat, small, but fun.
I was invited as a special guest and flown in all the way to Linz, Austria, which made me feel very special. XD
People were super polite, helpful and friendly. I really find it a joy to visit Austria every time...if only it weren't so far away. x:

Day 1
The first day things were kinda chaotic, people were running around trying to get everything working, but thankfully I only had one Lining-in-Photoshop-demo that day, so I was very relaxed still. ~ 3~

Day 2
The second day was pretty intense. I had to do two workshops and a panelling lecture.
It was amazing how many people were attentive and asked interesting questions. It made me feel great as a teacher too. ; w;
Whenever I had some free time though, I stayed in the workshop room as often as I could, attended Mathias Kollros' ( ) and Freya Hutter's ( ) workshops, or just stayed to chatter with people. <:

My fellow artists turned out to be supercool, and we sat there many hours talking about all sorts of things and exchanging funny stories.

Day 3
Finally Sunday was thankfully a short day for me. I had one lecture on portfolios for Comics and publishing, which went quite well too.
At this point though I was pretty exhausted, so again, I spend the rest of the day chatting with the artists group.(There also was Mathias' girlfriend, Freya's friend Natascha, and occasionally one of the fans/students sat by us and participated in discussions. c: )

At the end, I was offered to be brought to the airport by Mathias and his girlfriend in their cool artsy van. Again, lots of chattering ensued, and we had a great time. xD

All in all I have to say, it was pretty cool. It was different from German Conventions and felt like a fresh breeze to me. I am very much looking forward to visiting Austria again. > 3<

While I was in Texas I had an interview with the lovely editors of raptor publishing, for their Anime magazine KONEKO. :3

Today my copies arrived in the mail and I wanted to share it with you~

My. God.
My whole body hurts, hahaha!

It was pretty damn sweet, my first US Con! Although `Endling and I spent most of our times at our table drawing it was an amazing experience. :3

So many people walked by and went "OMG, YOU'RE ENDLING!?". XD The first day we were out of keychains and posters within hours. (mainly Shaun's stuff mind you. mine was not so popular) We were (again mostly Shaun) swamped with commission requests and many people came to say hi, shake hands and take pictures as well as spoil us with hugs and Pocky.
Shaun got lots of fanart too, it was crazy. :U

Speaking of crazy... someone wanted Shaun to draw a chibi on her boob. XD And the cosplays we saw! omg! Various TF2 cosplays were there and even two hunters from L4D. Fantasia mushrooms, OLD GREGG from the Mighty Boosh, Jesus, Raptor Jesus, and a Mario cart group, just to mention a few!

I wish I could have also gone and commissioned more artists myself, but unfortunately I rarely had time to walk about unless I was getting food or going to the bathroom. u. u


As for pictures... I got far less than expected. :C if you visited us and got some nice pictures, please send either `Endling or myself a note!
I will gladly put thm in this journal. :3
(especially if you have the two of us in it, I'd love you forever! Dx )

Our table number is B-16, and we will bring a few goodies and offer sketches and originals.
