October 2009 Entry

In the last four months, nothing much has happened except I bought a new HP notebook, some anime figure, the new Bleeding Edge series 8 dolls, and some new transformers. Other that some new stuff, I am now an owner of a 2006 Nissan Altima with a 2.5L stock engine.

The only other thing worth mentioning is that I was in a logging accident last month. I was gathering wood for the winter when a tree fell onto me that resulted cuts,bruises, and a busted pair of eyeglasses that I need to replace anyway.

I have been busy all Spring with work and school that most of my free time went towards playing games and watching toons and anime.

I have been watching Phineas and Ferb lately and it's funny for a Disney toon, the show is about two step-brothers who figure how to spend the summer as they go on daily adventures, their sister who tries to get them into trouble, and platypus who foils the schemes of mad scientist everyday as well.

The games I have been playing are Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Premium Edition for the PC and No More Heroes for the Wii.

I am also looking for a Nissan Altima, to replace my Hyundai as both an upgrade and because the Hyundai is old and it's transmission problem is getting worse.

January 2009 entry

I would like to start by saying that my loot from Christmas included the following:

The latest reissue of Optimus Prime that included a DVD.
A copy of MK vs. DC universe video game for the Xbox 360.
Silent Hill: Homecoming for the PS3.
An upgrade to a 120 gig hard drive for the Xbox
A 500 gig external hard drive
And an iPod.

As for the month so far, it had became warm enough for the ice to melt so that I won't run the risk of slipping and falling on my ass outside on my driveway.

I despite the fact that the economy is borked, I figure I need to do some changes. One thing I changed is that of my decor as I organized some stuff I need and the stuff I don't are thrown out and give it a minimalist look with Asian influences with a touch of goth, and I bought a new cell phone, a LG Scoop.

I can't wait for my big trip to Vegas this spring as I want to see some of the live shows, see more of the strip and try my luck at the tables.

Early December 2008 entry

Before I start with an update, I would like to say that I will never shop at any Walmart locations again. As many people have heard, a man was killed on Black Friday morning (11-28-08) in a stampede for half price televisions and toys. What I don't get is that when I hear of stampedes, I usually think its for the last bag of rice off a UN truck in a third world country, not for discount bargains in the states. While the man's family are mourning their loss, The Average Joes are enjoying their half price televisions.

Because of holiday season, I am going to travel into the city to get my supplies as the postal carriers are tied up causing shipping delays. I probably won't have any troubles going to my usual supply stores since there are hardly lines. I am going to get some organizers, computer stuff and possible a couple of Transformers to add to my collection.
I should save some money for my trip to Vegas this spring though, possible for a new ride too.

Thanksgiving 2008

I just had a large Thanksgiving dinner with my family and I am ready to sleep, also, I am going to skip the Black Friday rush this year since I have my Xmas shopping done.

Earlier this month I received my copy of Mirror's Edge along with the yellow messenger bag.
I have been playing this game on my free time and I am currently on chapter 6 where I got pass the conveyor belt area.

I can't wait for The Dark Knight to be released on DVD, it won't be the same as watching it on IMAX but it's still good.

November in post election Utah

Barack Obama has won the election for the White House and I can't wait until he is inaugurated this January.
The locals are not taking it too well, no surprise that Utah voted mostly for McCain for president.

I woke up this morning with a light layer of snow on the ground while the news reported snow in Northern Utah had a few inches .

It's been barely a week since the month began and its already cold.
Although I can handle the cold weather of Utah and the dry Mohave heat of Nevada & California, whenever it gets cold my knees hurts like a mother.

For now, I received a new BeGoths Atara doll before she was sold out, had my car tuned, got my art books organized, and preordered Mirror's Edge since the game has a unique gameplay.

I just watched the box set of Shin Chan, and I can't wait for the second set that's out this month.

There is a state fair going on now in Salt Lake and I am undecided on whether I should go or not this year as I barely have time to go due to my working hours.

August in the middle of Nowhere

I enjoyed my trip to Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and I won some money by playing the tables instead of playing exclusive to the slots.

I used some of my winnings to buy the box set of Blood+, Frontlines: Fuel of War, and I used ebay to get Metal Gear Soild 4.

I also received a new digital camera as a birthday gift.

July in the middle of nowhere

I just got a new 150 GB Hard Drive and I have organized my Anime stuff in my tiny living space including some Princess Ai and Transformers figures.

I am going to Vegas for a couple days at the end of the month for a breather from the screaming brats in Utah, if I am lucky I might get a decent to stay.

Damn Utah weather....

It's about time that it is warm enough to go outside without a jacket.

My bloody, wanker of a job has left me drained both physically and mentally.
I played Yakuza for the PS2 up to the last chapter, until I was called in to work do to some local walking out on the job.

For the most part, my new job search has yielded little results since many people don't hire outside of their families in this area.

I bought copies of Sealab, Braceface and Act of War: High Treason off Ebay last week.

Bogged down

I am currently looking for a new gig that has a steady paycheck, but since I am in a small town in the middle of nowhere utah, I can only find family owned businesses.

However, I figure that my homework assignments from Weber should keep me busy until the snow melts in the spring so that I can focus on finding work in the city during the off time.

I have subscribed to deviantART because I like the many works of art that are expressed on many mediums that ranged from sketches to 3D renders.
