Recently my grandfather had surgery, and now may have to be on oxygen for the rest of his life. It depresses me greatly; at least he can still do most of what he usually does. The semester ended like 2 weeks ago, but the side effects of that are still going. I feel like I'm in a constant state of doing projects. I have like 3 more left to go. Thank god the spanish one is out of the way. I'm excited for the heat wave coming. A bit of irony - the temp isn't even going to rise above water's freezing point. Nevertheless, that's much warmer than the -25 F we had last week. Tomorrow I have to have a root canal. Afterwards, I intend on playing straight through The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Either that or I'll sleep the novacane away.

Finally, I've got enough money for a new camera. Haven't decided what to go with yet. I'll tell when I get it. You have no idea how excited I am about it. :eager:

School. Wow. I took a really hard chemistry test today, but since I have photographic memory, it only took me 15 minutes to recall all of my notes. Right down to the pink highlighter mark Steph put in there.

I'm beginning to notice how many people use me as a role model. I really don't know why they do it.

Sam and Katie want to do some fashion portraits when I get my camera. Yay.

I call this dawn of the stupid because I start school next week. Drama is flaring up all around me and we haven't even gotten into the building yet.

I read a few books last week.. I plan on tackling 3 more tomorrow.
Tomorrow is also my figurative last day of work.

The real last day of work is on June 27th, 2011. I'll be 21 and a half at that point.
Then my 17 year contract will be over.

Not gonna lie. I cried the entire time. One of the BEST speeches I've ever heard.

Recently I've been in one of those moods where nothing makes me happy. Today wasn't too bad.. all I did was lay around and sleep. Talk about unproductive.

Life is okayish again. Band contest is over, and I got a one on my solo, which is basically the highest you can get. So I'm happy about that.

I may start posting my watercolor paintings. I just got some new paints, but when I tried them out, I discovered that I have crappy paper. Oh well. The painting I whipped up in about 20 minutes didn't look terrible.

Argh I'm in one of those moods. Maybe I'll try put this idea I've had for awhile to paper..

The sky was constantly blanketed in gray, everything thing was dead, it was horribly cold, etc. Not really good weather for my kind of photography. The snow's all melted now (thank God) and I can once again return to taking nature shots. But I'm still in that mood. Now I'm blaming it on this damn history project that's due the same week band contest is. Band contest... ack. I didn't come as prepared as I did last year, but I'm basically ready. I only have 3 performances... a clarinet solo, clarinet quartet, and a clarinet choir. Only real difference this year is instead of playing 4th clarinet part, I play 1st, because I really kicked butt in chair auditions. And that history project... we have a very difficult and demanding teacher. Not gonna go into details, but most people believe he should be fired. I don't care what my grade on the project is anymore. I know I should, but I can't find the will to do so. I dunno.. everything's a blur nowadays. It seems the only enjoyment I get in my day is watercolor painting, and health because I finish my work early and am able to wander in the halls for the rest of the hour. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, I GOT A CAR THIS WEEK, AND I WASN'T ALL THAT EXCITED. Now there's something wrong there... I live in an area where a car is a must if you want to go anywhere.

I spent some time thinking about what I wanted to do with my life after school. I'd love to pursue a career in photography and art. Thing is, nearly everyone I know says don't do it, because I won't make all that much money. But I love photography and art, and if I chose to follow that path, I know I'll most likely be happy with life.

That was part of the conversation between me and my doctor on Friday. So now I have to have my cholesteral and thyroid checked, and I'll probably get checked for diabetes again. Runs in the family. In the past 2 weeks, I've had to confess so many things to so many people. First I exploded on my friend, then apologized like crazy afterwards. Then I told the friend I've had the longest some things. And then I had another friend show me a suicide note from another friend of mine. And then I finally collasped; told my mom all of it. And then she gave me Saturday off. Oh it was a wonderful day. I had a headache when I woke up, took some medicine. Then I listened to music for around 2 hours. Afterwards, I started reading the book Running With Scissors by Augusten R-something. Can't remember. I wanna say it's Roughbunns, but don't quote me on it. I bought some new books, that one and The Widow of the South by someone whose name I forget. I'll check later. I went and bought some lemons and veggies, got a cool glass of water. Then sat outside reading a magazine. When my parents returned from the rock show, my dad had purchased a necklace for me. It's a cross with either topaz or amber rocks in it. I'm going to photograph it soon. I hope this month is better, and I sincerely hope everyone elses is too.

Last night I went to bed around 10 pm, but didn't actually fall asleep until midnight, because I have that cough that forces you to prop yourself up using pillows and sleep sitting halfway up. Each day I keep waking up earlier, and earlier. A few days ago I would wake up around 10 amish, and now I'm up at 5 am. Just out of curiousity, do any of you that read this go to sleep at night thinking about something and wake up thinking about the same thing? Last night I was thinking about Dane Cook's story about the creepy guy at work. When I woke up, I was ACTUALLY quoting the whole story. Or sometimes I'll be playing a song by Beethoven, fall asleep halfway through, then when I wake up, I'll finish it.

I wonder if we'll have a 2 hour delay this morning.. Everyone says we're going to. I hope they decide fast, because if we are, I may attempt to go back to sleep.

Oh, and for the forum responses: I'll tackle them after school.

1. If I see an open closet door, I have to go over there and search the entire closet to make sure no one is in there.
2. One of the easiest ways to anger me is to make fun of autistic people.
