[EDIT:] So my dad has been watching the news with their play-by-play sort of election projection update stuff, and then McCain comes on and makes his concession speech! I mean wow. I sure didn't support him, but at least he accepts a graceful defeat (before he's even been defeated). But that's not why I posted this. I just wanted to check to see if anybody else noticed the music in the background near the end of it and afterwards. I can say pretty confidently that it was from the Pirates of the Carribean movie (we played it in band in junior high). I mean....wtf?! it was really funny, but why did they choose that? anyways. Just had to throw that out there

GAAAAH. I'm so tired lol...I just spent like, 45 minutes playing
DDR (mostly on heavy/challenge too)
It's so frustrating when you do really well, but not perfect. I played DAIKENKAI on standard with disappearing arrows, and was doing perfect (as in, I hadn't missed any) until the last part, where you have to use your right leg and go 1-2-3-4-5------ I missed the last 3, and as such, failed to get a AA

oh. and the reason I was playing: our school is going to be moving to a new campus, so we're going to have an afternoon party there on thursday, where we'll check it out, have an opportunity for extra-credit, have pizza and soda, team builders, capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, GUITAR HERO, ROCK BAND, AND DDR. yeah we're that cool

so yeah. I haven't played DDR in a while though, so I didn't know how good I was now. you know, I didn't want to go there, try a super hard song and fail in front of everybody lol. so that's what inspired me.
and so I have found out that I'm not super good, I'm about average. I have a few songs that I've taken the time to practice and learn, and I can do them on heavy/challenge and scrape an A, but for the ones I haven't played, I just stick to standard....of course, there's also some that I can do the step pattern for, it's just that I run out of energy before the song is over, or it speeds up and my legs won't move fast enough...or I get to the end of the song and I'm sweaty (ew, I know) and tired and can't do anything else XD

wow....it's amazing how much I can write about DDR, and how little I manage to pull off about the civil war XD

dammit I beat the 3rd phoenix wright game

sounds weird, but I really hate beating games because that always means that it's over D: especially with the phoenix wright games because of the way the story goes and everything
I always get to the end, and get all excited "YES! YES I'M GONNA BEAT THE GAME!" and then I actually beat the game and I swear, I almost start crying lol. especially since all of the phoenix wright games have ended with either a really bittersweet ending, or the type that just leaves you so happy you're lost for words

anyways. I'm really sad. I beat the 3rd game where you get to play as phoenix. I love Godot oh my god. I feel so sorry for him D:

I'm playing apollo justice right now (just started it actually) but that just makes it worse D: how could feenie be replaced by some crazy kid with scissors on his head?!?!?! and now I have to defend feenie?!?! this should not beeeee!

Yes, well that is the requirementÂ

2. How long have you been going out with that person?
Actually about a year now. My birthday is coming up, and I met him last year on my birthday.

3. How did you two end up together?
Well, you could say he was almost like a birthday present to me. My parents actually introduced us. My parents met him in the store, and it turned out that he was related to a friend of my dadÂs. So they both came home.

4. Have you ever gone out with anyone else in your life before that person?
Nope. IÂve had some other acquaintances that were similar, but we only talked for a while, and then they had to go back with their gf/bf.

5. And the one you've had the longest relationship with?
Well the current one obviously. HeÂs pretty dependant, and he sings okay too. I mean, itÂs not great, but he gets the pitch perfectly. He also likes video-games, which is awesome. When I first met him, I asked him to put on these sparkly jewelries once though, and they looked sorta nice for a while Â and were fun to laugh at Â but he never stopped wearing them, and theyÂre just a little too much now.

6. What colour best describes your lover?
A deep calm blue, like the ocean, but sort of grayish too.

7. Any interesting memories?
Well, heÂs usually pretty quiet (I sort of ask him to be) but once during class, he had this sort of strange outburst, and started to tell me something, but I had to remind him to be quiet because everybody else looked over when he started shouting. ThatÂs the thing. HeÂs totally capable of being calm and quiet, itÂs just that I always have to remind him.

8. Do you feel like cheating at all?
Not really. I mean, there are some pretty guys, that know a lot of stuff, or are in sports, or are a lot of other things, but my guy is reliable. He may be simple, and a little plain, but IÂm happy with that. I donÂt need anything more.

9. Anything you want to say to your current lover?
Just that even though we didnÂt start off so great, youÂre really great and dependable now. I trust you, and I hope you trust me too.

man this sucks. the budget cuts that are happening in our district right now making everyone unhappy and annoyed. basically, if our school district doesn't make 4.6 million dollars in cuts (whether is be teachers, special programs or activities), then the county-district-board-whatever thing basically takes over, and chooses everything for us D:

and what really sucks is that they'll be cutting teachers, and the main basis for who will stay and who won't is seniority. I don't think I've talked a lot about my school really, but it's really amazing, and basically it would die without the teachers that we have. our school is a new technology school that revolves around project based learning, and group work. it's a great community, and I wouldn't want to go to any other school. unfortunately, it's more recent, and more modern, and many of the teachers are too, so they wouldn't qualify for this "seniority" thing where teachers who have been teaching for a certain amount of time won't be cut. basically, 9 out of the 12 teachers we have would be cut. that's a problem. I just hope that we do something, or the board somehow changes their mind. the situation really sucks, to be blunt. I'm really sad, annoyed, and frustrated, and I don't want our school to die. the prospects aren't so great, but I really hope that we'll be able to do something. I think we will be able to, but it won't exactly be easy.

sorry if this sounded sorta corny, or whatever, but I just needed to write this down, and say it all somewhere....also, I'm pretty tired because I stayed up with most of the other students and our teachers at the board meeting, and left a little early - at 11:20pm about - and then watched the rest on TV......*yawn* I just hope it all smooths out.....sorry for ranting heh-heh......most of you might not be able to connect, but I know a few out there who go to DaVinci too, so you guys are probably thinking similar things......

sorry for being all depressing or whatever, I'm sad, but I have to stay positive, and hope and try to change this.....(AND NO, I DON'T THINK BEING POSITIVE OR OPTIMISTIC IS STUPID OR IGNORANT. YOU CAN SEE THE POSITIVE AND THEN NEGATIVE, AND STILL BE OPTIMISTIC. I THINK PEOPLE WHO ONLY SEE THE BAD IN A SITUATION, AND REFUSE TO TRY TO SEE THE GOOD ARE TOO STUBBORN, AND NEED TO EITHER GET OVER THEMSELVES OR PULL THEMSELVES OUT OF THEIR PESSIMISTIC DITCH)

just saying, yeah I'm alive, but I haven't been commenting as much because now I can't login to dA on my laptop computer and I don't always go on my home one everyday.

I'm planning on having a scanning spasm or something this weekend (or maybe even during the week) and posting a bunch of stuff though maybe, so be prepared for lots of pictures ^-^

OH AND BY THE WAY I am officially now obsessed with Phoenix Wright. I got Ace Attorney thursday before last, and beat it yesterday while doing homework. OH MY GOD I LOVE THAT GAME NOW. lol.....at first I thought "wtf, 'attorney'? 'lawyer'? lol, yeah right" but then I saw it at gamestop, and thought i would try it. it =

I've recently been amusing myself by drawing little creatures (okay, just one really) that I made up, and I thought it would be fun to make a Beanie Baby-ish version of it. So.....basically, I'm wondering: does anybody might know how to go about doing that? Or maybe just know how make a good pattern to use. I'll probably be posting a drawing of said creature sometime this weekend, if I'm not doing research on Queen Elizabeth I, or having fun

Man, this tablet handwriting thingy may be quieter than my ultra-clicky keboard, but it's not going so well.....trust me, this journal would be quite significantly harder to read if I wasn't correcting something like, every sentence D:

also, now on harvest moon....does anybody know anything about like a glitch in hm DS or something, because for me it was winter, and the only thing not normally happening was that the fishing team was working for me at the beach....and then a few days after i hired them, all of a sudden, i had 33 mil gold! and now, if they're working for me, or even if they aren't (i dunno) my gold goes up to 1 billion! figure that one out....must just be a glitch....it's convienient i suppose, but also slightly annoying cuz it takes some of the work out of things.....there's still a lot of other work i have to do....

anyways, we went to borders too while we were there, and i got ranma 1/2 volumes 34 and 35. only 3 more to go 0_0

anyways, when i got home, i counted how many we have (3, 7, 15, 23, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35 now. which makes 12)....and they cost 10 bucks each (well, 9.95 but....) and i told my parents that i just realized that we have $120 worth of ranma 1/2 books....and my dad was like "That's disgusting", and my mom was like "Oh, don't even tell me".....leaving me wondering what's so disgusting about it......o_o anyways.....that's it. i just wanted to post a journal to replace the age old one about cutting with the pairing knife upside-down.....*by the way, hoping to post a few new pictures soon * ]]>
