So I got back from the fun filled adventure of the Scholastic Award.
It was the most fun thing I've ever done. Being quaranteened was fun. lol

Oh, and I got 4th place. I got a 4 years worth of scholarship studying here in Indonesia. If I actually got the 1st place, I could go overseas. TT3TT but oh well, now I don't have to burden my family with college money. ^w^

I gained a lot of new friends.
I also met fellow dA member, ~verbyGRAPHY.
She's one of the finalist also, along with my friends ~Psawat4eva and ~quable.
~quable got the 1st place. Congrats dude!! And we're the best tap dance duo ever!

Oh, and on the award night, we did a performance.
WHICH, I'd never thought I would actually do it.

I just found out a few minutes ago that he already passed away on the 9th of August.
I actually first knew this from :devmellandolic:'s blog.
But I already encountered this news from Born's vocalist's (Ryoga) blog.
But then I didn't know what he was talking about because it was all in japanese.
I only knew a part of it... when he mentioned Jasmine You's name.

Apparently... death doesn't look on who that person is.
Everyone will die sooner or later.
It's what you do before you die that matters.
And I think Jasmine You made an impact with Versailles before he passed away.
He left a part of himself in his songs and in his fans' heart.

This is journal is not only for Jasmine You.
It's for all of the artist that has left us all their souls.
For all the musicians, artist, public figures that had passed away.

And for all the people that we love.

_{I'm fine (if you ask). Well, I just wanna say that I'm currently happy because of several reasons.
I won an art contest, which is my first after so many years. The theme was nature surroundings / sceneries (which is a subject that I'm bad at). I can't draw sceneries! I'm lame at that! So I decided to draw what I like, which is Japan related, and drew a sakura tree. And surprisingly, I won. haha. The drawing: [link] I'm sorry for the bad picture.

Hey, so Christmas was okay. But nothing special happened. I didn't get to watch Christmas cartoons T.T

By the way, it's almost new year! horray!
This year was a lot of fun. A lot of things happened. The good things, the bad things; a lot were gained and a lot were lost too.

But enough about this year. On the next one, I'll definitely do better! I wish to be friends with a lot of people next year. So I can spend next year happily and have lots of fun too.

Talking about resolution, I think not all my resolution came true this year. hahaha. Lets recap shall we:

Okay, so after all these times, ever since it's been released, I've only watched the Tarix Jabrix movie just now. GAH! It's a cool movie. I feel like a nerd for not watching it sooner.
My personal favorite were the so called twins, Alda and Qibil a.k.a Ciko and Coki. Those two are the funniest.
I haven't laughed that hard when watching a movie since ages ago. Definitely two thumbs up for The Changcuters.

Oh right, Lebaran is near. I just wanna say, forgive me for all of my doings. I know I'm not the best person you've ever met, but I try to be one. Mohon maaf lahir dan batin kepada kalian semua. And Selamat Hari Raya for whoever celebrates it.

2. Today I'm officially the Head/Chief/Kepala Suku/Leader of the School's Editorial Team. I dunno why the picked me... as the leader. I'm not the type of person who can lead something. I'd love to join as a MEMBER of the team, not the leader. But, oh well, they gave me such a wonderful privilege. I don't plan on letting them down.

1. I got a 54 on my chemistry test. O.o
2. I didn't get to eat my precious Dadar Guling... T.T

Just want to give you updates in my art life.
I've been doing a few arts lately, but I'm not gonna bother showing it here. I'm just gonna experiment on stuff. haha.

Okay, back to the usual "What I've been doing these past few weeks" segment:
1. Went to school. (duh)
2. I actually got to use my new inline skates! Yay! haha. But the not so good part about using it was the fact that the roads here are not so smooth. I ended up stumbling here and there. tee hee.
3. GIGI came again to my home town and I definitely went to their concert! This time I went to the meet and greet too. That night was one of the best days in my life. WHAT AN AMAZING WAY TO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY(yes, they had a concert here on Indonesia's independence day)! I got a blow kiss from the vocalist. EEK! Armand, you're amazingly awesome! You got my respect, hands down!
4. Obsessing over GIGI after that concert. haha. Keep in mind that it's not that easy for me to hear Indonesian songs. Why? A lot of them sound pretty commercial to me. But GIGI is one out of two Indonesian bands that I respect and love. The other one is Sheila on 7.
5. I'm obsessed with the song Caka (I dunno what it means. haha) by Dewa Budjana. (Om Dewa Budjana! Balik ke Duri dunk! Bawain Caka buat saya sampai saya lelap tertidur dan dibawa pergi mimpi yang indah)

On the other side of my life, what's happening to me recently:
1. I got 6th place on my class for highest grades.
2. Chopped chicken meat for the first time. I was helping my mom making spaghetti for breakfast.
3. Had a nostalgic moment with the old comics I have which they don't sell it here anymore. Such as Jing: King of Bandit and DN Angel
4. Now I love to watch Andrew Bravener and AmazingPhil in Youtube. They're awesome! You should check them out.
5. Addicted to Hardcore kind of music or Screamo... or anything that has a scream in it. Although I hate it when they overly used the screams in a song.
6. Been stressed since I can't log in to VF lately
7. Stressed with the test that I'm going to have

A funny thing happened today. Here it goes:
So a few days ago, my english teacher assigned the whole class to make something to decorate our class room. Each of us were assigned with different things, a few did a poster, a few made love letters, and I was assigned to make a wedding invitation (weird huh?). So, it took me a whole day of thinking and stressing out just to make the assignment. And this is what I came up with:

But that's not the funny thing. A few days after it got pinned on my class room wall, me and my friend found it missing today. lol! So we thought someone just pulled it off and took it home because it's so damn cool (insert barf moment here). But then, when we asked our teacher what happened, she didn't even know. Suddenly one of my friend said that she found it in the trash can! LMAO! IN THE TRASH CAN PEOPLE! A few friends went outside, got my invitation out of the trash can, and showed the whole class. It looked horrible! It was wet! lol! And everyone was all "DUDE! IF I WERE YOU, I'D KICK THAT PERSON'S ASS FOR THROWING OUT YOUR INVITATION!". It was funny, how my friend would go through all the trouble just to get my invitation out of the trash and making me actually feel a lil bit better.

I know I haven't been that active ever since the new year started. But I'm actually doing a new art right now, Miami Ink inspired. haha. I've been watching Miami Ink a lot.
So yeah, I've been pretty busy with school works lately. There's just too much things to do and pretty much I loose my focus and somehow I don't know what I'm doing right now.
I tried to multi task, but it didn't help at all (obviously). Now I'm trying to clear my mind (again) and try to focus on the important things; like my school, my art and my life (wooo, sounds like I'm loosing my life or something)

Wokay, so expect the unexpected (not really). I already worked on a few things, but never get to finish it because I'm just too lazy. I need some motivation people!

Yeah, and I'm trying to get in the band scene again. Trying to start a new band with new people and a new kind of music, the kind that my old band is not pretty into. haha. So yeah, I think I'm looking forward to this and I hope that they really want me in it. We're thinking of performing in mid February I think, on some party. I dunno.

Okay so, may your new year be a better one than mine.

Second of all, I'm really happy with my grades. Even though it's not much, at least I did good. I got 6th rank in my class, and that's pretty much satisfying.

And again, I'm getting those down times. So, I think I'm trying to clear my thoughts a bit, get things straight, and focus on something.

Well, that's all I need to tell you. I think I'm stressing out and going online for more than... ummm 7 hours straight is not really helping.

How's your New Year? Great? Mine was awesome! I went to Malaysia for my new year. I met a lot of interesting people there and I shopped till I dropped! Literally, my feet were killing me from the constant walking from mall to mall. lol. And I went to the zoo. It was fun. I got to see Bill the lion and Bill the porcupine, lol (sorry Bill).
And I met this cool guy who works in this really cool store! I like the way he dress, all gothic lolita harajuku kinda clothes.

So yeah, I'm currently depressed. Because MCR is going to come here, finally! After waiting for so long, they finally come here. BUT, the thing that makes me so depressed is that I think my mom doesn't want me to go! I need to convince her that I need to go. I really want to go. Maybe it's because the tickets are so expensive... it's around $50-$60. Gah! I need to buy that ticket!!!

Mine? Pretty much okay. I'm starting to work on new arts, hanging out with friends, doing stuff.

Okay... I forgot what to write.... Wait a sec. I'm trying to remember.

Oh yeah! I remember now. Okay, so my friend Sarah came over to visit. She used to be the bassist in my band, but after she moved, the band was no more.
So, she came to my house. We had fun, exchanged pictures, stories and such. We even did our old habit, before Sarah went home, we stood in front of my porch door and talk for a long time. Haha. Then I remembered, there's this myth, when a young lady stood in front of a door, she won't get her soulmate. Well, I think it's stupid, where did people come up with that? We talked about that myth and agreed that it's the stupidest myth we've ever heard. Then I said "The fate to meet our soulmates is in God's hands, not on the door's. Heck doors don't even have hands!". I crack myself saying that. haha.

I just woke up an hour ago. Why did I wake up that late? Well, here's the story.
I'm currently in Pekanbaru, which is 3 hours from my town. My dad drove like crazy and I got car sick. When we got to the hotel, I immediately drink some hot tea and went to bed. I woke up at 8 I think. After I woke up, I went to get a shower and then I ate fried rice for dinner (although I didn't finish it because I lost my appetite after I drink what I think is stale milk).
Ahh... hotel room, zimmer 425. I like hotels. Especially Aston Rasuna in Jakarta. That hotel feels like home. haha. I like going to another town. I get alot of inspirations. Well, I'll be seeing you later with some new works I hope.

Ps: What time is it?! VACATION! yay! Exams are over! But I'm still afraid how' wil my grades turn out

Okay, currently it's 22:38. I'm stressing out because I have two exams tomorrow... TWO, ZWEI! One of them is chemistry and I haven't studied yet! Oh no! Can someone give me a crash course on chemistry?

Oh no..., I feel dizzy everytime I face the exams... I sit on my desk, started to fill my name on the answer sheet. Now I know why. The things that make me dizzy when I'm doing my exams:
1. I sleep late... well not that late. I usually sleep around 10 pm.
2. I study too hard... maybe... nah.
3. I SIT NEAR MY CLASSROOM WALL! I can't sit near walls. I don't know why. It's just..., I get these feelings of small spaces and pressure. I feel so claustrophobic.

Okay... three more days to go. People! Please pray for me. I'm in desperate need of it.
If I don't make it through the exam tomorrow..., I just want you guys to know... that... Zzzzzzzzzzzzz *fell asleep* gotta. sleep. now! tomorrow. sister. wakes me up. at. 4 am!

Unfortunately, our movie didn't win. At least we were nominated.
I met up with a lot of friends. I was a bit bored with the shows. A lot of acoustic performance that made me sleepy. I'm the kinda girl who likes to jump around to music. But somehow, the next day, I always get massive headache.

The show ended at midnight. And that was the best part. At that time, midnight, I'm officially 16! Yes people! Sweet fuckin' 16! Text messages started to fill up my inbox. My friends were saying Happy Birthday to me; the guys, the girls, everyone. Haha. What a hectic way to end a party. That night, Shelby stayed in my house. Before we sleep, we watched 'War of the Worlds', but we didn't watch it till the end. While we sleep, still the text messages were sent to me. So in the middle of the night, I still have to wake up and shut my phone up.

So pretty much I'm very pissed off by this. But what can I do? I'm a student, and I have to focus on my studies... now that I'm in highschool, I can's be as lazy as I used to. Ugh... sometimes I hate school!
Tomorrow I have 2 tests. Gah! my head is going to explode!

New years is coming! Turns out I'm not going to Malaysia...

I was looking forward to it. Especially after a friend of mine asked me to join her in an A7X concert (If they're really coming that is). Have you guys made a new years resolution yet?
Well, I think I'm not going anywhere. Maybe I'll have more time for myself this time. Take care of myself maybe. And do some more art.
Apparently, I have a hidden talent on making pins. Actually, Siska inspired me to make it. And now people ask me to make one for them. hahaha. I'm a pin factory! I especially like to make pins about band logos. I did Tokio Hotel and MCR+Emily the Strange.

Oh yeah, I can't wait till Saturday! There's going to be this yearly party, it's called Pensi, and I can't wait to go. It's almost like prom, but with less dancing and more bands and entertainment. haha. I'm gonna go with my sister and friends, AND we're gonna rock that night out. Unfortunately, my band's not performing this year (unlike last year, which was the most active year for us. haha) Why? Because I don't have a band now. Our bassist moved and that pretty much ends the band relationship. hahaha. But that's okay, we're just gonna have to party like a rockstar that night and enjoy other bands. VIVA LA HYPERLINK THE SIREN!
