My exam results are out now, so I can officially say I have a 2.1 Honours degree from Cambridge University. I'm pretty happy with it overall, it's not very special, but it's a solid "ok" grade. :)

In other news, I got another Daily Deviation for Cicuta! Thanks :devjunkbyjen:! That's my 4th one now ^_^

As for the Kiriban, 3 people caught it in the end, and I will be getting round to doing them once I've completed a batch of commissions.

Currently I'm a biological science/ pathology undergrad and I guess if I wanted to take the straight and obvious road, I'd finish my course, do a Masters, do a PhD and get a job in research.

Problem there is 1. I find lab work dull and I'm not sure if I'd want to spend my life doing it, 2. it'll leave little time or brain space for art and I really don't want to have to give up painting.

Hey, I was browsing through the CGtalk forums and stole this idea from Steven Stahlberg, it's very simple...

Basically, you post a picture (or link to a picture) you have painted (and it should be a complete or nearly complete picture) and I will see if I can improve it and paint over your image if I think I can make it better...

Ok, specs: I would prefer more realistic work, because it's difficult to do much about very stylised stuff :/, I would like the images to be suitably large for working on, so... hopefully a minimum of 700px smallest side.

It was my birthday on the Friday, 17th November. Took some friends and my family to Formal Hall at my college and hung out in the bar afterwards.

Saturday evening consisted of a masquerade ball on the Thames, yum. ^_^

Sunday was Doodlejam at Unify shop, where a bunch of local artists just sat around and drew on things.

It's Week 5 at Cambridge University, so far I haven't developed the fifth week blues yet, still happy and hopeful, and so goddamned tired most of the time.

It's officially they're trying to work us to death, the people who survive the next few years are like little Spartan warriors... Cambridge, the place where sleeping and eating are for the WEAK!

My week consists of 6 working days... which means I have lectures on Saturday morning :D joyous.

But hey, it's all good, I've learnt so much already, this is probably stuff that'll take a year to cover in 6th Form and we're done it all in 5 weeks.
