Me and Strifey-chan are starting on our manga pages! I have nearly completed the chapter cover for the first chapter and Strifey is doing the first page sketches now! so you guys can expect to see something new very, very soon! sorry because things have been moving real slow around here... I apologize!

Anyway. we spent the whole day in the school corridors singing our heads off - all the Broadway and Disney songs, I think we drove the other people mad with it... but hey. it's not like our voices are bad or anything yeah. we were singing snatches of 'Kiss the Girl' 'Strangers Like Me' 'Anastasia' 'Under the Sea' 'New York' 'I Won't Say' 'Belle'...

and laughed our heads off with it, too! hehe... I had fun today... drawing, singing and playing.... after exams is just great.... ^^ too bad I lost a scrabble competition, though.... oh well...

oh, and I bought an English manga for like, 5 bucks (Malaysian Ringgit) and those usually cost about 30 something! I was so happy..... Crescent Moon Vol. 5 was really worth it, I want to read the whole thing now.... go read it, guys!

I found this in someone's journal and I thought it would be fun to do it, since I'm too lazy to go into details about my own character anyway. So here:

1)What's your character's name?
Kinomoto Saori.

2) How old is he/she?
Seventeen, born on September 10th.

3) Is your OC a boy or girl?
Girl.

4) What's his/her race?
Human, but she possesses special powers as she is descended from a line of Keepers, people who protect two special pendants known as the Taiyotsuki and Chikyusora.


Appearance:
1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the real world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
Average, I suppose. Let’s just say she’s typically Asian, black hair, black eyes and fairly tanned skin. Not an absolute beauty, but she has a sort of aura that mostly attracts attention- an aura of strength, yet subtlety.

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Yes, appearance-wise. She’s not considered ‘normal’ in the sense that she is the only remaining female member of the Kinomoto clan after the whole clan was assassinated by their rivaling Azuma clan, and since the Azuma does not know that she and her brother, Daisuke, are still alive, they live in seclusion – imagine that, after all their riches and comfort, living in a small house right in the middle of the woods.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
Her eyes. They’re black, but I call them onyx – her eyes can draw you in deeply, almost mesmerizing you. Then there’s her killer glare, which makes a person feel like they’ve just been reduced to dust. (Kazuki often suffers this ^^)

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?
Yes, definitely. At least, she’s everything I’m not in looks

Personality:
1)Temper:
Depends, really. She hates unfairness and she can’t stand seeing people being bullied or pushed around, that’s when she really explodes. Oh, and if anyone dares to hurt her friends or her loved ones in any way, they’re in for hell.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?:
Saori gets stressed, not depressed. She hates moping, but she shows her real emotions once in awhile, if the situation really presses her.

3) Leader or Follower?
Both. She can command, and sometimes she gets overly bossy, but she can also take orders if the person giving them is someone she respects.

4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
Saori is fiercely loyal to those she considers friends and family and she will do anything it takes to protect them. She harbours regret at not being able to stop her clan’s murderers, so she keeps trying to make up for it. She also killed a few of the assassins on that fateful night, and unbeknownst to her older brother Daisuke, she spent a long time crying and trying to scrub off the invisible ‘blood’ on her hands because she didn’t like killing.

History:
1) Does your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Yes, she did have a family, once. Her clan, one of the largest in the coastal town of Naruto (NOT the ‘Naruto’ manga – this is an actual place in Japan) had a long standing feud with the Azuma clan, and one night, the Azuma sent assassins to kill them off. Saori’s parents, the clan leader and his wife, were killed that night after urging Saori to escape, and her brother, Daisuke, managed to rescue her. So the Azuma thought that every Kinomoto was dead, while Daisuke and Saori hid, living in the woods for ten years.

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
Yes, pretty much. She doesn’t know that her brother, Daisuke, works as an assassin under the threat of blackmail, and as she hates killing, Daisuke doesn’t dare to tell her. She assumes that he’s out on simple traveling for business purposes even though she’s suspicious. (Daisuke is darn lucky that his sister isn’t the nosey type) So she has to manage herself, food, life, etc. She can even go down to the village because no one can recognize her, but she usually wears a hood anyway.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
already mentioned that about three times already… well… her clan got killed off by their rivals when she was seven, she watched her parents die that night, and she and her brother lived alone after that.
4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?

This page, ~aeris-guardian is a collab page with my friend, , as a place for both of us to put up stuff concerning our manga, MIRAGE. If you guys know us, you'll probably know what that is, but for those who don't, I'll explain next time.

We'll both have to work out a few things before we start this site going, posting deviations, so please be patient, guys! For one thing, we have to work out who replies which messages - if there are any specifically targeted at either me or Strifey, we'll try to reply them personally, okay? but then, if they are general questions, either one of us will reply.

I'm in the process of re-watching all my own friends on this site, and I suppose Strifey will be doing the same for hers. so try to watch us back, ne? ^^ we want as many friends as possible!

i guess that's about it for this time.... I'll get working on our ID and start posting pictures soon. there'll be story writing from me and manga pages from both of us collaborating, and maybe also random art of our characters. hopefully we'll get everyone's support, okay? ^^
