Oh wow has it really been over a year since I updated here? I don't think anyone really reads these things, but here goes.

So, I've made my last final move from Boise, ID now to Houston, TX. It's the last move I plan to make for a long time. Sadly, in all this moving it's taken me this long to realize I have no scanner. I haven't really had time or energy to do artwork amongst moving, working, finding new jobs and socializing either. BUT! Seeing as I now live with a couple of wonderful artists, my interest is picking up. And there's talk of us having an art table at AnimeFest in Dallas this fall (hint o/) so I've got to get my art mojo back.

I've been trying my hand at digital art since I've had a tablet for a few years now, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it. The proportions are always weird looking, so I'm trying to find different ways of getting things done to upload here. But here's to hoping I figure something out. o/

Art has been attempted the last few months, but not very successful. a few bust shots is about all I've been able to squeeze out in my spare time. No. Really. This is the most I've been able to do.


Bust shot of Rem Saverem all dressed up and flustered. She's so cute like that.

Been reading a lot, listening to music, watching movies. A lot of RP over at LiveJournal. Decided that minor characters are actually really fun to play out.

I guess I should say that I've moved since the last time I updated this thing. From Louisiana up to Idaho for the winter, and I'll be moving down to Texas hopefully this fall/winter. Maybe I'll be able to settle down there for good.

But, I'm hoping maybe I can start drawing again in the next few months on these late nights when I can't sleep and there's no one around to really talk to. I hope. Wish me luck.

I can say this at least, the tablet I have is starting to get old or something. The pressure censor is really messing up, so I'm going to buy a new tablet and hopefully have the problem fixed. If the new one works right, then expect to see more digital art from me.

Why am I doing this? I'm trying to raise money to move to Atlanta. Three reasons:
1. the Art Institute. I've been dreaming of graduating from an Art Institute. I can get much better guidance for my artwork there, than I can at a university.
2. . I love him. I want to move out there so I can be with him. True love. What more noble cause can you want?
3. get away from my mother. this woman never lets me do anything. Yes, as a mother I love her, but as a person, I despise her very being.

Please, help my cause.



Now, onto other news. I FINALLY got to see Anastasia. I know...it's late >.> <.< boo to you too. But I can see why so many people think it was Disney. I'm suprised they didn't take the credit though O.o It was a beautiful film with a gorgeous musical score. If you haven't seen it, or seen it in a while, watch it again. It's good.

Also, Mitch Hepburg tomorrow night!! *dances around gleefully* I'm also trying to figure out what to do for Halloween. I have no idea. I'm thinking maybe Meryl or something. But I don't feel like sewing anything together right now. meh..Maybe I should go visit the Halloween Superstore down the street. I think that's it.

I'll also probably have an Inuyasha fanart, simply because I promised one for my vocal coach's 9/10 year old daughter....who loves Inuyasha...I might even be coloured! heck i know it will be. I've been hankering to color some blue hair ^_^

And I want more chik-fil-la strips...but that requires money...BTW, for anyone who wonders why I don't buy more art supplies or anything, I got a pell grant for college, I got the max...(which is a little over $1400, enouhg to pay tuition) yeah..and my parents' divorce was final two days ago..yay.

I'ma go call for a ride now....and possibly draw that inuyasha thing.

meh. I stopped by 's place for a while today. She let me watch her Wicked tape (a copy of the preview show for the Broadway production of Wicked) wonderful stuff. must buy soundtrack. >.> I also nabbed the deluxe edition of Eragon as well. yay! NOW I can draw some fanart (I needed to know what the symbol on his sword looked like <.< ) While I was there, I started doodling, Sarah coloured. Collaboration drawings will be here soon. Preview: (sorry no image) Half chibi-fied Glinda and Elphaba, only switched outfits (glinda in the witch hat, etc and elphaba in the sparkly blue dress and crown) Sarah is much better at colouring than I. mhm. I also did a randomy Wicked comic. no preview on that folks. But part of it, you need to have read the book to get >.> <.< I'm having fun doodling with my tablet, but I wanna try open canvas, or painter. anyone out there nice enough to lend me a copy so I can install it on my compie? I know someone out there has it. I also got a new sketchbook today, because that walmart shizzle ain't workin', yo. In the meantime, I've become almost clinically obsessed with foamy. It's so gooooooooood.....I do have one or two things I want to draw, and one is actually a picture from my manga O_O gasp.

This was different than most because there was an actual bomb. So I left early and went home and watched anime. Friday, I didn't go to school (I found out later some guy had a gun in his locker, like...a big one O_O ) I spent the day running around with my friend Christy and picked up my boutinier (sp?) and some new manga (Get Backers 2 and Pilot for Candidate 1) She also brought me about half of the Eva series on vhs for seven bucks (she has the whole thing on dvd, she didn't want the vhs anymore) Saturday I woke up around noon to find my house empty, as always. I slunk around boredly, then mom and my bro came home. I had my nails done by mom, then got my hair done at 4 (which only took half an hour and no charge woot) My date (NOT BOYFRIEND) came around 6:30, took pictures, went to Bennigan's. I got food for free since one of our friend's dad we were with OWNS Bennigan's. Yeah, my date ate one chicken strip, a bunch of fries, and cheesecake. Needless to say, we took over the tvs in that place. We had Comedy Central Presents on our tv, but halfway through Southpark, they said they couldn't show that in the restaurant. Then on to prom. Yeah....it was more of a spectator sport. I danced to one song. That was it. Maybe when I get pictures developed, I'll upload some. At one, it was time to start our gambling addictions at the "casino" ( a room with a bunch of games) It started to get crowded, so we went to one of our houses and watched flashmovies until 3. Sunday, no church. Woke up at one. lounged around the house. Came to school today, ugh. I had an oral presentation on "le Christ jaunne" by Gauguin (which I didn't research), then a test on Lord of the Flies (which I didn't finish reading). Yeah...that was my week...

I haven't uploaded in a while because I'm simply at a loss of what to draw. I wanna draw...but I don't know what. Maybe I'll upload mine and Chelsea's comic about our muses...y'know..the little people that sit on our shoulders and tell us what to draw. my art teacher is getting on my nerves. I got my sketchbook back yesterday, over half of it had "realism" or "try realism" written on it. Maybe I don't WANT to do realism...as nice as it would be, I don't want to. I can do it if I have a picture to look at, but not out of my head. screw you teach. and maybe I'm tired of painting. once again, screw you, teach.

try outs for sleeping beauty was yesterday, I wasn't planning on it, but our director made me go up anyway, for Bloodstone when she's disguised as the old woman. yeah...I thought I did okay til went up and did it.
