I actually started having lots of people note me and write on my profile and ask where I am and when I will draw again. I thought that my stuff really weren't worth much but now I have a bit more hope and inspiration. I really want to improve now. So thank you everyone for watching me and commenting on my stuff. I really appreciate it.

And because of my university course and part time job, I feel constantly exhausted, so I've been quite lazy when I get home, and don't look at a lot of my messages and don't bother to draw. But now if I'm home and I have spare time, I will try and spend that time drawing, and I'm going to try and comment more often on other people's art work.

Somewhere around 50-52kg or 110-114lb

I'm actually really shy =_=; I'm very nervous around people who I just met and people who I don't know well. But when I'm with someone familiar, I can be really crazy. When it comes to how talkative I am, I'm probably somewhere in the middle, but I am usually very quiet if I don't like someone or is feeling shy, and very talkative if I am in an exceptionally enjoyable conversation.

Not too many, not too few.

100% Chinese >:3

16. Do you like to talk on the phone?
I hate talking on the phone -_-; I hate using any sort of device to talk to other people. I only like face to face talking xD

I don't know -_- (life problems -_-)

I love meat, even though I love animals, I can't live without meat. I'd die. But I can't eat guts and weird stuff like that. Also, I can't eat shark fin (because they cut the fin off and throw the shark back in the ocean to die in agony!!) and I can't eat any sort of weird meat (locking up baby cows in the dark so that the meat is soft, weird religious rituals of killing animals like sawing the head off -no offense to those followers-, etc). Also I try to buy free range chicken and eggs and stuff like that :/

19. Are you paranoid?
Not that much. I'm just scared if there is a spider or something in the same room that I am in. If I even see a daddy long leg crawling across my wall, I won't be able to sleep. And once I couldn't eat in a restaurant because there was a wasp =_= I read somewhere that you swallow more than 10 bugs and at least 2 spiders while sleeping during your life time. *dies from heart attack*

20. Do you read a lot?
A lot. I have so much to read for uni =.= I probably spend about 3 hours reading text books daily. And also I read a lot of manga xD

21. Do you listen to music, what kind?
I listen to Chinese pop, instrumentals, and classical music (shut up, I love classical okay? =_= )Sometimes I get into the mood to listen to anime songs, or random Jrock songs, but I don't listen to much Japanese songs anymore. The only person who I still listen to a lot is Gackt. I WILL LOVE GACKT FOREVER.

22. Do you play any instruments?
I played the alto saxophone for 3 years (forced by parents), but have stopped now from lack on interest (rebellion towards parent's force). =_=;;

I've been drawing since early childhood (still remembers my drawings from kindergarden. Carrot... heh <3)

I won't make excuses >_< I am just REALLY lazy. I am so sorry!! T_____T *smashes head against wall*. But I swear I am working on stuff and they will be up in 8917398 years.

My brothers and our neighbour went trick or treating today xDDD Not many people do that in this country I think. One idiot even opened the door and told them "this is not America". Man, how rude are some people? They are just kids.

Most people were nice though. A lot of people didn't have lollies, so they gave other stuff, like money, cookies, snack bars..... we even recieved a bottle of fruit salad *is eating it right now* >_>;

I have a physiology exam tomorrow T_______T I was revising today and tried to do some revision questions. There was one question which took me two hours to do and the answer was two pages long T___T And we are going to get questions like that in the exam *commits suicide*. Then after that I have a microbiology exam. My ultimate fear T___T I am really worried that I might fail. Anyway, on the 23rd and 24th, I went to Manifest (Melbourne Anime Festival). I went with , , and . I helped sell her lovely merchandise as usual *_* though I was pretty useless since I kept running off to buy stuff and take photos of cosplayers.... and also talking with about biology <3<3<3 The only useful thing I did was driving everyone to and from Manifest I think @_@;;;;

I bought some pencil boards (my pencil board wall is seriously running out of space now), art prints, manga, and presents for other people. I also recieved some free art prints, keyrings and posters from , , and . Thank you very much *_* And thank you for letting us stay overnight in your apartment so that we could sleep in (because you apartment is so close to the Manifest location xDDD). <3

And it seems that lots of people tracked me down from Manifest even though I wasn't selling my own stuff and I wasn't cosplaying @__@ *scared*

17. What's going to happen to me this week?
Driver's High // L'arc~en~ciel (Oh no... if I am gone for a long time, you will all know that I've been in a car accident)

Gee... I can't believe it. It came true.

On my way to uni today, I was at an intersection where I had to give way and was trying to turn right. I checked both sides of the road and saw that a car was giving way to me in the lane I was trying to turn into, while in the opposite lane, there was no cars, though I couldn't see far down this road because there is a sharp curve and the road was going up a hill.

As I turned right into the free lane, a taxi came speeding towards me on the right and hit me on the driver's side front wheel (In Australia, the driver is on the right side). My car tire is bent inwards half way and there is a big dent.

The road speed is 40km/hr and as I said, there was a sharp curve and a hill. Witnesses said that if the taxi was driving in the speed limit, he'd have stopped in time. However, he seemed to have been speeding 20-30 km above the limit to their judgement. However I was told by the police and insurance people that because I was suppose to give way, and there was no speed camera to catch the taxi speeding, I have to take the blame.

What made me really angry is that... what is the possibility of catching a guy speeding before he smashes into your car on camera??! Also, the taxi driver tried to blame it on me by saying that I didn't stop at the intersection. It isn't fair, because I waited there for over a minute for the traffic to clear and he is lying that I didn't stop??! Also, if he had seen me before I crossed the intersection, I'm pretty sure that he'd have had time to stop. What idiot would cross an intersection without stopping to check? So now my insurance rating has dropped and I was 2 months away from a better rating. *sigh* My dream of 1st rating seems even more far away now. Also, I have to pay $750 in excess. I am going to save even more insanely now. I'm not even going to buy petrol anymore when I get my car back, I'm going to go and steal petrol from my dad's car (joking).

Oh well. Now I just want to forget it all. I just hope that my car will be fixed properly. 11. My bf and I waste a majority of our phone credit calling each other 'gigantic psychos' every night (my phone bill last month was $80, if it wasn't for the free 5 hours, it'd probably be $200)

13. Everytime I cook, or help someone with cooking, I make at least one scientific observation. For example, yesterday I was making dinner with my bf, and we threw an undersized lid on a pan of weird experimental curry, and the lid became stuck tight to the pan. So while my bf was smashing at the pan and lid with a spatula, I was lecturing him on air pressure and the power of steam. After my 20 minute lecture I suggested putting the pan on the stove to use that same pressure to unstick the pan, and it actually worked. Scientists use logical thinking rather than brute strength. *feels proud*

14. I can't resist drawing on dusty surfaces whenever I see one. Even a moment ago I was drawing swirly lines on my keyboard.

15. I file my nails on random surfaces more often than with actual nail filers (eg. wall, wood, car seat...)

16. My bedside alarm clock has been inaccurate ever since I first got it (a couple of years ago). At the moment it is 11 hours and 42 minutes ahead of the actual time.

17. One of my favourite past times is to hunt for split hairs in my hair. I could do it for hours.

18. On extremely boring and long car rides, I start to imagine a random animal running beside the vehical that I am in.

19. I hate using trolleys at shopping centers. I've carried 12 litres of milk in my arms once because I didn't want to use trolleys.

20. I am scared of a wallscroll hanging on my wall because it looks like a ghost floating over my mirror but I refuse to take it down or move it. :/

21. I can't drink coffee with any sugar in it (it this weird enough? T^T I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ANYMORE)

Gold Coast was great fun, but I am glad to be back. I was getting homesick.

My dad became obsessive with the view from our hotel/apartment rooms. We were on the 12th floor, and on one side is the view of the beach while the other side was the city. Beach view during the day and light show from the city during the night. My dad started to look at properties around Gold Coast and saying that he wanted to move there. If he moves, I'm not going, I still like Melbourne the most. I think that Melbourne is the most livable city in Australia, if not the World. XDDDDD

The heat is too much though, I really don't think that they would move to Queensland.

My brothers have become obsessive with swimming. If we aren't at a theme park, shopping center, or on a drive in the mountains, then they would be at the beach swimming, or at the pool swimming. As for me, I haven't swam for about 6 years, and was glad to find out that I can still swim. XDDDDD I am not much of a strong swimmer though, never have being.

My favourite parts of the holiday was going to the theme parks of coarse. I love the thrill rides *w* We went to Dreamworld on the second day, Movieworld on the third day, and Seaworld on the fifth day. Dreamworld has always being my favourite. I absolutely love Wipeout, my favourite ride *w* wheeee *imagining self on the ride*

My brother Will had a heart attack when I tried to make him go on the tower of terror, and after wipeout, he got really sick >.>;;;;;;;;;;;;; and then we made him go on a spinning ride.... XD

We all really loved the 4-D Shrek show. It was new, so I hadn't seen it the last time I went to Dreamworld. We also loved the 4-D show at Seaworld.

At Seaworld, Will refused to go on the Pirate Ship with us. He decided that he would rather be the chicken than make a vomit mess.

James went on everything with me, except for Lethal Weapon at Movieworld because you had to be over 130cm to be able to ride it. It is such a cool ride too, except that you get smashed around a lot. XD

Anyway, I will stop writing now, I wonder if anyone has even read all of this. By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

DeviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

If you're in favor of this, if you believe in the power this COMMUNITY has, then join me. Post this in your own journal. Spread the word to everyone, with a and a <3.

We might be touting at windmills like Don Quixote.

But if enough of us do it, we might be able to remind everyone that this is a COMMUNITY first and foremost.
