My question is "Why do we do it"......... I think that I do it because it gives me a reason to take photo's, by that I mean it gives me a reason to aim to produce better images, learn to use editing progs better and it also gives me something to do with my images. Before I found DA I would spend a day taking pics and look at them when I got home and that would be the last time that most would be looked at.

I also think that most of us want praise from others about what we do, it makes us feel good.

So why do you do it. Ask you friends and get them to comment. I bet most of us do it for the same reason.

I am a man of a certain age and I enjoy life. Some days are great and some days are crap, but over all Life is good. I don't understand why it is that when I look around on DA I see so many self portraits of young people looking so sad and angry. I would give anything to feel young. So can some of you tell me why. I am interested to know. You have so much living yet to do.
