I have been working on a novel off and on for several years now. The rough draft has been done for awhile now, but I've only gotten a little more than half of it typed up.

Well, yesterday I decided I was going to start posting the chapters on DeviantArt, to see if I could get some constructive criticism before I send it in to be published. So, when I went to open the document file for copy and paste purposes, IT WAS GONE! Apparently, in my infinite wisdom, I burned the file to a disc at some point and deleted it off my hard drive. Now I have several hundred discs to go through to find a single text file.

Anyone wanna help flog me for my stupidity?
