The only crappy thing is that I have to do a 10 page papper during the break, >_< oh the pain. Plus I have to work on one of the most hellish days of the year, BLACK FRIDAY!!!
The logos that have been commishion are finally done and presented. They only want a few changes on them like seeing it in another color, etc.
But im really happy with them so far.
On a better note its not snowing yet but I get the feeling that it soon will and there is no one here at college. Im like maybe 15 people walking around today, its great. ^_^

So for now im barrowing other peoples pcs to talk and check messages.

It has to be one of the scarest movies I have ever seen. I saw the trailer online with the test group and thought to myself. "what babies, that cant be that scary." DAMN I was wrong!! This hits a homerun in the scarefactor. I dont want to give too much away but its about this young cupple who is haunted by something they cant see. So for 3 weeks the guy videotypes everything they do from eating to sleeping. Things just get worst and worst for this cupple everynight from here on out. Now that is not why its scary the fact is that its shot in such a way it looks more like a home movie then something out of a studio. The effects to be all the honest i cant tell where it ends and starts, there that good. It reminds me of watching ghost hunting footage like on ghosthunters. The actors act like a real cupple and you can really feel for them and want to help. Half way though the movie I had to remind myself that its just a movie and not real. Towards the end and this in all my cinima watching life have never been in a theater where everyone was crying and screaming, NEVER!

so all and all this is a great movie to start off the spooky season. If you can go see it and if not demand it on there website. This is only a limited release do to its scare factor. A list of places that are showing it is on the website if you want to go.

Believe me its worth it if you want a good scare.

ok "9" I have to admit was a really great movie and as said before worth the money.
this was one of the few amiations that I lost myself completey to the story. Its a post aposto world witkout humans. The idea of the world through the eyes of a doll is pretty damn scary. In a few sences I really start to feel the anoxidy of being on the open plan just knowing that those machines where out there waiting to rip you apart. The machines are terrorifing if nothing else I would not take the little ones just because of them and what they do to the 9. I wont say anymore just cause.
The animaton was super smooth, unlike transformers. Where its great if you like to not focus on anything and put your head in a dryer. No this was awsome, I forgot at times that this is a computer animation movie.

District 9 has to be once of the best summer movies this year. I thought it was going to be another rehash of indepentance day but it wasnt. The main story focus around this guy that worked for the govt to basicly get rid of the aliens. He touches alien tech and lo and behold it starts to react with his own body. The govt comes in messes with the genes and boom alien arm. He excapes and runs away to district 9 to find away to reverse the curse. From there on out a epic battle to save his life.

I would give both movies at least an "A" for pure creativity.

Damn college start back up soon and man Im not looking forward to that.
Its not that I dont like college its just that balancing college and a part time job can run you down really REALLY fast.

As for the art time I got a nice gig of making my local ghost hunting societys new logo for shirts and there new website. I hope to have that done by the end of Aug so they can get everything around for Halloween.

I am now the adopt mommy to a baby bat that I found while fixing up my old house. He fell out of the ceiling and had been there for awhile. I couldnt say no to something that would fit in the palm of my hand so now hes in a nice nest of a cage drinking kitten milk through a bottle. What a life. I will soon have to let him go before it gets out of season for him to hunt. I will try to get a few pic if he will let me. ^_^

Now to other news. Im going back to Sleepy Hallow for a photo shoot of the famous graveyard there for my paranormal ghost hunting society. Where planing a messes hunt and the hallow is a nice supernatural place.(according to legend) Nothing is set in stone yet but if you know of a place that in either NY or PA for at least 4 groups of ghost hunters to desend upon for a hunting convention let me know.

Anyway on a better note I got to see REPO! and if you havnt go see it. Its got some amazing costumes, spot on rock music and come on the creators are actully in the film its self as part of the crew. How cool is that? Plus graverobber does all the artwork and music for this movie so go forth and go see it!!

I have desided though some hard brain prossessing time that I will be opened for paying commisions. It will be $10 black and white and $25 and up for color depending on what you want. If interested let me know via note so we can work something out.

Oh the joy! We finally desided on our summer trip (we can only have one this year, damn gas prices) and its going to be HorrorHound Weekend. [link] finally get to go to a horror con ive been really wanted to go to one forever.
Now for the really fun part, the costume making for the ball. Im going as the Bride of Frankenstein boyfriend's going as a zombie and my weird science lab partner is going as a well mad scientist.Still trying to get my boyfriend to be frankie but no luck oh well but ya be on the look out for costume pics in the coming months. On a better note trying to get the copyrights to Chainsaw boy and friends so I can offically start making the comic website and pleaseing all you good people. I finally got a script writer of a sorts to help plan out comic pages and storylines so its not a bunch of crap somewhat added together by main chars and maybe just maybe a animated short out.

Holy moly no one told me it was going to be this hard as to getting into art school! Christ on a pogostick, they want a a finger and to huge portfo. just to look at you and they might add you to the waiting list if they like you, I still need to add a few more life drawings before I can send in the book of doom! If this bill is passed anything even copyright work will have to re-register for a large sum of money any and all works for asap that monment is it created it is free for all to use and do what they like with it. Now to me this is a stupid idea not just for minor artists but what about the big boys say Disney, thats going to really fuck up the system. Plus this isnt for the folks state side this is going to become an international bill so anyone from anywhere is screwed!!

Well I found something on my travels that you will love. Its a free photo editing software (basicly Photoshop) and it works great. I checked it out myself just to make sure it wasnt a scam and its not. All you have to do is download it a BOOM you now have knock off Photoshop. Why you ask am I telling you this? Its because I love ya guys.

The great thing about this is that the forum plays out as more of an RPG. You earn money, houseing and there is always razor shoping for that new shop you opened. Lots of fun, going to go back in the fall to the Legend Fest but for now glaze upon the lovely pictures that I brought back. Most are from the Western Woods and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery (which is bigger then the town) for we didnt get a change to move around too much. I have only a few up right now but I will be posting a lot more including the Crane family plot, the Van Tassels, the Archers and Irving's own.
(yes they where real people Irving knew that lived in Sleepy Hollow)
I will even be posting a pic of Elisabeth van Tassel's grave. She was the inspiration for Katurina Van Tassel from legend.
