Prom was fun!

I think I jumped too much, because I can't jump very well anymore (my dancing consists of jumping up and down and waving my arms around like a lunatic, but whatever, might as well have fun even if it means dancing like an idiot).

Sure. The music could have been better. People I see daily were dancing suggestively (to put it mildly). And prom itself, I know, is kind of useless. But it's the last time to see some of my friends all dressed up, and I didn't want to miss out. So yeah, it was awesome!

So over spring break I went to south padre, and it was crazyyyy...there were lots of drunk college kids...Quite an experience. Well, anyway, I tanned a bit, so now I'm not like the color of milk anymore. I miss my sickly paleness. D: *exaggeration*

I got there and the madness had already started...our nametags were messed up, the ID numbers were wrong (which is very bad).
For the tests, all of the kids (500+) were crammed into either of two cafeterias. Shoulder to shoulder, almost. Perfect for cheating. And there were like, four proctors. Uhgh.

The rest of the day I just kind of sat around and watched people play super smash brothers. Fun.
But there was this contest that people set up, and they swordfought with spears and swords and daggers made of foam and duct tape. there was this really intense guy wearing weird shorts and no shoes, and he did wierd stuff, like he jumped over flower pots and threw his weapons and things like that. But one of my friends got up and grabbed a sword that he had thrown, and when the guy asked for it back, my friend yelled "COME AND TAKE IT", so the guy charged at him, kicked him, stabbed him in the face, and fell and cut his foot. It was awesome.

Anyway- the art judging made me so mad. Monochromatic was a joke. Polychromatic- a lot of things placed that shouldn't have. UGH.

And almost everyone placed, which means that a bunch of people are going to state! I'm so excited. X3

1~ I hate it when people spell wrong or use bad english. I cringe whenever that weight loss commercial plays- "It works so good!". Um, no. It works so WELL. And someone spelled "Emergency" wrong on one of the posters in the hall at school. *twitches*

2~ I really love Latin, even though I don't get the grammar at all. If I could I would write everything in Latin.... >3< *shot*

3~ I can't eat shrimp.

4~ My parents almost named me Zoey, and I thank all that is good in the universe that they did not, because I would foerver have to live with references to that stupid show Zoey 101. >.> *throws stuff at it*

5~ I hate suspense, but I love horror movies.

6~ I used to stand in Toys R Us for extended periods of time looking at Barbie dolls, trying to decide which one had the prettiest face (all of the faces are different, I swear!) before I actually bought one.

10 facts about my art! They're probably all going to be dumb! XD

1. I hate drawing during the summer. I've always used the summer to sort of recharge. Then as soon as school starts I draw like crazy.

2. I often have no idea what I'm about to draw when I start working.

3. The first time I started drawing anime was right after I bought a CLAMP book in...I copied, like, every drawing in it. XP

4. I usually never draw guys because everyone always thinks they're girls. DX But I'm determined to work on that!

5. I'm pretty bratty about my artwork, in the sense that if it's going the way I like, then I'm happy and can finish it and it'll be nice. But if everything is going wrong and it's just not working, I get frustrated and stressed, and give up.

6. I have a sneaking suspicion that I draw people inhumanly tall.

7. I can draw people and scenery. But I can't seem to draw them together.

8. I used to try to draw in Dragon Ball Z style and Pokemon style when I was in elementary school. Thank goodness that's over.

9. When something I'm drawing in my sketchbook just won't do what i want it to do, then I erase it and dub the page "unlucky".

10. I think lips are my favorite thing to draw. >.<

I bought this cool digital art magazine a while ago, and it has all of these helpful tips and tutorials. I'm gonna try them out...all of them! >w< I'm looking forward to it. I think I'm getting better at using photoshop- there is so many tools and stuff that it's sometimes hard to keep it all straight! @_@ But I can tell I'm getting a little better at it. I think. I hope. x_x

We got in a bus accident on Thursday! A concrete truck hit us twice. We were right in front on the school, too. The police and EMS came, and we all missed some of first period, which was fine with me, cuz I have PE! Gross... XD It was pretty crazy though.

This was the longest week ever, even though we only had three days of school. Just give me two more weeks off, please...

So, I've been kind of dead lately, my computer has something wrong with it's heat sensors or something so I have to get it fixed, but in the meantime I'm just going to use it anyway.

My sister got a DS! It's pretty cool. I've never seen one outside of a store. (you know, those ones that you can play that are, like, glued to the wall or something like that) I still love my good old game boy advance, though.
