My classes for next semester are Anthropology (the second half of the course I took last semester), Beginning Ceramics (joy), Western Decorative Art; Renaissance-1850, Figure Drawing (yay!), and I'm on the wait list for Intro to Writing Short Stories. I really hope I get that last one.

Should be a pretty fun semester, and it'll hopefully leave me plenty of time to get other stuff done.

No, really! My parents' friend Mr. Wes got two rabbits from a guy who breeds them to eat. He was going to take them home for dinner, but he started talking to them on the way home and called my dad, saying, "I can't eat anything I've had a conversation with!"

So he came over, showed them to my dad, and the two of them decided to let them go somewhere. Meanwhile, my mom comes out (Oh, God). My mother LOVES bunnies. She sees these two and decides she wants them. Now my dad has a rule, only one warm-blooded pet at a time, which is how I get away with having snakes. But... either my mom's feminine wiles or the bunnies' cuteness (the far more likely guess) worked their magic... and he said yes! So my dad built them a temporary cage out of refrigerator shelves until we can get them a hutch.

There's a brown one and a white one. They're pretty big, about the size of a small cat. The white one has bigger ears, so we might call it Radar. xD No clue about the brown one yet. Pictures shall be forthcoming! :3

Now that I've gotten all fancy with my journal, too, I might be updating it more. And the Christmas holidays are fast approaching, so when that comes you can expect some more art as well! Maybe I'll get around to uploading some of my traditional stuff someday too.

As far as personal life goes, not much to report except that there's a chance that I might actually FINALLY get my driver's license over the Christmas break! Gasp!

I'm also entertaining the idea of maybe changing my major... It's Art, concentration Graphic Design as it is, but... I don't really like GD all that much, plus I hate being under guidelines and deadlines. I love painting and drawing, but where's the living in that? I don't have the reputation or skills to freelance, plus the guidelines and deadlines might still apply.

So what I'm thinking about doing is changing my major to English with a concentration in Secondary Education. That's right, a high school teacher. Sure it doesn't pay too much, and there's the hassle of grading papers, but English is something I'm good at, and I think I'd like to teach. My other option is becoming a college professor, which would be cool too, but I don't want to set my sights too high yet. But... I haven't decided on anything so far.

Any advice?

Anyway, as far as it goes, nothing huge is happening in my life. I just got tired of seeing that really old entry that was obsolete even as it was being written.

Sophomore year of college starts the 28th. That will probably mean a slump in my already inconsistent submissions, since I'll be doing mostly traditional work in school, and I still don't have Photoshop or a tablet for my laptop. (Yes, I'll still be living on campus...) That's the next thing I'll have to work on.

Wow, it's gotten to the point where I can't think of much to write when I do journal entries. No more teen angst! Yay!

Just wish me luck this college year, and I'll wish you the same in whatever you're doing.

Here's a question: If you know people who know people who know people who know people, is it possible to mutually know everyone on earth? Or at least a good bit of it? A lot of times people don't realize how much we're all connected. I realized that just within my own circle of friends. People who I never thought would have met are good friends and know people who I know without my knowledge. It's like a flower blooming infinitely in time and in all directions. It's a good feeling.
