My whole purpose is to get attention directed at your work, all your work. I want you to know that in the past I only submitted mostly my work because I am more active on here than anyone on my members list in the alt-couture theme. This club has been dominated by my work and I will only be submitting select pieces of mine from now on. I would like more pictures from you guys on here and if anyone thinks I am just here to be selfish, then I want you to know you have the wrong idea. I have a lot of respect for artists and I want you to get the recognition you guys deserve.

So, I decided to get an early start on this because I want as many submissions as possible and this will give everyone time to whore this contest out.

Rules for both calendar contests:

-The calendar will be representing the club, therefore you must be a member to enter.
-All mediums are accepted
-we are doing on 18+ calendar and one that is appropriate for everyone, even children (so for this one, I prefer no images even of someone in a bra and underwear. I'm thinking gowns and maybe even some fantasy and fairytale stuff!). These are separate contests.
-For 18+, I'm wanting classy stuff (no self-gropings, no spreads, or up close shots of genitals unless there's an elegant factor to it and even then, I'm picky about those).
-one entry per member
-high resolution landscape images. YOU MUST EMAIL ME HIGH RES IMAGES! OR THE RUNNER UP WILL TAKE YOUR SPOT.
-deadline: December 15th
-must be a deviation uploaded after or on August 14th

***As for our last contest, winners will be announced in a few days. I'm still waiting for a few judges to finish.****

***Please donate prizes for these contests! Prints, subscriptions, accessories, clothes, money-whatever! Since this is representing the club, it's our most important contest yet! We also need judges (judges cannot enter the contests).***

The reasoning for this club is to showcase the elegant, stylish, and classy alternative ladies and gentlemen, as well as the artworks of some fabulous deviants.

Photographers, artists, and models all accepted.

Joining:
*add the club to your watchlist
*send a note with the subject "join"
*you will be noted back if accepted in the club
*place the icon/link of the club in your journal and/or signature

Submitting:
We do automatic submissions here. This means you put us on your watchlist and you're on ours. Then, whenever we see a picture we want in the club gallery, we upload it. When you see we have uploaded it, you put the club permission statement in your photo description: "I give full permission to : iconalt-couture : to post this in their gallery" (no spaces before or after the :s).

Judging in alt-couture contests:

Scoring system:

Person you think should have 1st place (because of the work they submitted to the contest and that alone. UNBIASED!):5 points

2nd place: 4 points

3rd place: 3 points

4th place: 2 points

5th place: 1 point

I will add up all the points from all the judges and from those points, decide the winner.

Judges CANNOT submit for the contest.

Rules for those who donate prizes:

If you do not follow through within one month, you are kicked out of the club for good and I will add you to a list.

We'll post:
*photos of you if the photos' content displays an image of an individual, whether realistic or otherwise, whether human, monster, animal (whatever, a creature!) in some sort of elegant attire, or will a high fashion setting.
*nudes are just fine as long as elegant and artistic
*violence is welcome and any sort of macabre
