Yes, after having my old/new blog, Kiasu Crossover, re-opened some days ago, I will still find time to post more entries down here.

Asking about the title? Yep, you got the thought right which happened to be dangling down your mind after reading it. There will be another Death Note movie (I'm sure hard-core Death note fans know this already) which will premiere on February of next year, it's [ L - change the World ] - ALERT: internet-wrecking site because of heavy flash content. This time, it will focus on <spoiler>the one-who-died-but-everyone-loves-him-above-all</spoiler> guy, L and it is primarily a spin-off movie. Trying to milk more money from Death note fans, 'ey?

Since Death note mania spread like wildfire upon airing the anime version and the 2-part movie, I kinda lost interest of it (considering how addicted I was when I was reading the manga back then - oh! those days!) I'll probably take a look on this one when I got the chance, and hopefully won't forget about it. Haha.

Anyway, that's it for the update, I'll try to post more once I got back from a vacation, hopefully by next week.

P.S. I'll probably post 2 more artwork by next week since my supposedly-Tora-gift that should have been sent to him last September is still 30% away from completion. And I left a finished pencil-sketch of another fanart, Tieria Erde of Gundam 00. Yay!

It's been ages since I updated. So why don't we start with animes for an appetizer?

I really haven't been watching too much anime lately, I used to download tons of them and honestly, I actually have been left out by a dozen of them. Currently, the ones that I really watch out for is Zombie-Loan, Claymore and Devil may Cry. I'm not gonna bore you people by giving you the synopsis, just check out the links they'll lead you to Anime News Network pages. What to expect from those three? Zombie-Loan is mainly animated by Xebec, expect Ouran Kouko Host Club-looking animation then, unique story too. As for Claymore and Devil may Cry, I think it's suitable for Madhouse Studios to actually do the animation for the two since there's basically countless flying monster heads and other body parts as well as tons of splattering blood here and there. And OMG, yay for Isley's bishie-ness in Claymore! (Note: Isley - this is how his name is spelled in the manga.)

Those are under blood and gore genre, now we jump to comedy. Very-unfortunately speaking, the only two comedy animes I enjoyed were taken by not-so-diligent subbers, hence, they're not releasing anything for over a month now. Moetan and Doujin Work are exceptional, especially the latter. Moetan is an anime which teaches English to J-otakus. You got magical girls in an anime which gives you that Sailormoon-transforming parody, quite funny, just add the perverted human-turned-animal assistants who gave them their powers. Doujin Work is about a mangaka-wannabe girl who was convinced by her friend, who is a doujin artist for the company "Panty Revolution" and works on rape mangas. Imagine that? It's really crazy!

I'm still doing a Black Lagoon marathon and trying to keep up with Darker than Black. And more of the magical girl genre, which I don't why... (Kamichama Karin and Nanatsuiro Drops) Some more of those good stuff that I left off wherein you might want to try as well (D.Gray-man, Seto no Hanayome, Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi) By the way, has anyone watched Rebuild of Evangelion's first episode? I so wanna see it...

As for music, nothing new, same old artists. Oh! but Aqua Timez is cool, as well as the (so far) latest miyavi stuff, a wild transition of music, I'm kind of lost in what to call the genre of his latest album now. Imagine, his songs mixed with turntable scratches and beatbox stuff? Amazing really, though I hate the hairstyle.

miyavi - 7 Samurai Sessions [link]

As you can see up there, I'm currently reading the Mayfair witches series of Anne Rice. When I went to the Humanities section of my university's library, I just realized I haven't read that series so I borrowed "Lasher". I found out there's actually a prequel, "The Witching Hour" so I ended up downloading the whole series. Anyway, I'll be finishing the Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair series since I just found out they're actually interconnected. Poor me, and then I say I'm a fan of Anne Rice. Disgrace.

I haven't really been playing too much video games recently, my brother just got Magna carta: Tears of Blood a couple of weeks ago and I found it really interesting. One thing for sure, if you enjoyed The Legend of Dragoon's battle system, you'll definitely love this. Though the English dub was nothing extraordinary, I even think I'd probably like the original Japanese voices better. What more? Hyung Tae Kim's character design! (Who doesn't know, right?) But what's funny was I really got confused whether Calintz (main...

Well actually, I just finished watching Kurosagi (The Black Swindler) for a whole night and Nobuta wo Produce the other night. Both contains good plot and that they turned me into a Yamapi (Yamashita Tomohisa) fan-girl. Sheesh...

Anyway, the title doesn't have anything to do with those above mentioned Jdorama. You see, if there was Meteor Garden, which can be considered a taiwanese live-action of the japanese manga, Hana Yori Dango, there's the japanese version too, (which is the same title to the manga) Hana Yori Dango. Now, before I sound totally senseless, the japanese live-action for the manga, Hanazakari no Kimitachi he (a.k.a. Hana Kimi) is officially confirmed by Fuji TV.

So, what's good about that? If anyone of you have watched the taiwanese live-action for that manga which is entitled, Hua Yuang Shao Nian Shao Nu, you definitely have the idea of how extremely hilarious and enjoyable that was. The main cast were ultimate fan-girl service because of how extremely good-looking Quan (played by Wu Zhun of Fahrenheit) and Xiu Yi (played by Wang Dong Cheng of Fahrenheit) is, as well as the female lead, Rui Xi (played by ELLA of S.H.E.). Good-looking and good-acting plus the dorkyness equals brilliant series.

Since I usually check Oguri Shun's (most known for playing Hanazawa Rui in Hana Yori Dango) DramaWiki, I was S-H-O-C-K-E-D when I saw that he'll be playing the male lead role in Hanazakari no Kimitachi he japanese version, along with great actors as well. Horikita Maki (known for playing Nobuta in Nobuta wo Prooduce), Ikuta Toma (Box of Akihabara@Deep TV), Mizushima Hiro (Tendou/Kabuto of Kamen Rider Kabuto). It is definitely an ultimate cast!! Oguri Shun fits the character so well and Ikuta Toma can get as dorky as how is already in Akihabra@Deep. The question is, will they surpass the marvelous acting of the taiwanese guys, Wu Zhun and Wang Dong Cheng?

That is yet to be proven since the Jdorama series will start in July. There still aren't any ad posters or trailers around, and my guess is, there wouldn't be any until June. I'll keep my hopes up, I love Oguri Shun anyway.

NOTE: All mentioned above Jdorama series are already watched by me. Don't diss, I'm not playing know-it-all here.

But...

Minutes ago (since I hardly have anything to do), I found it still in my archive, that's why I decided to tinker with it a little, and it works just fine!
Now, since I made a new account for my old story (which I've been writing since high school) last month, and that I've been trying to edit the previous written chapters again, I'd probably be able to post the character designs for the main charas, since I just started working on with fixing the way I draw my anatomy. Okay, I got really carried away by the 1978 chinese martial arts movie, Five Deadly Venoms, I watched yesterday afternoon. The martial arts moves were really cool. But you know, there were really some ROFLMAO scenes and their blood's color is red-orange. XD Right now, I'm in-love with Mizushima Hiro of Kamen Rider Kabuto. Anyway, back to me being back at DevArt. New submission and new Avatar. I'm planning to get back writing the story I've been working on since high school. I'll try to remake the characters' outfits and all. Not much, my friend and I failed to cosplay yesterday at Ozine fest, but we will definitely, definitely be here on May 19. After the live-action movie (part1) here comes the Death note anime. Both were adaptation of the famous Death Note manga. Episode 01 though was a bit boring since it just tackled how Yagami Raito (Light) got the Death Note & his meeting with Ryuuku, the Death god.

It only has 26 episodes, I'm wondering though how are they going to minimize the whole story in just 26 episodes, I'm hoping that they're not going to steer away from the manga because I really liked how the manga went, but so far, the first episode was Ok.

This guy defines the word talent in all sense.

Evidences are seen here:

the major talent clip

the -wtf- yellow guy

Some notes:

1.) And the fact that he has a ponytail made me laugh in "the major talent clip" doesn't stop me from going speechless. I personally believe that God gave him all the guitar skills you can ever imagine in this world.

2.) Criss-crossed yellow slippers + sneakers was cute (yah, yah, laugh all you want, I'm a fangirl alright~). His feet do the tambourine tapping. And his trying-hard-to-be-soft-which-made-it-gorgeous voice made me .

3.) And yes, all Miyavi stuff will go in this journal. So, you'll just have to bear with me~ (lol. as if anyone cares~)

Current Mood: ...insanely worried. (don't ask why)

(1) Back? ...not quite.

It seems like I've forgotten about my DA account, ne? Well, not really it's just that it's really hard to draw something when you're not inspired (or am I just excusing myself from my damn moodiness).

Anyway, I've spent soo much time with my PC this past few months, web designing & all the download stuff (anime, mp3 & movies as well) & haven't said this anywhere else, but yah, I finally got bored. So after finishing two artworks (will soon be posted here) that I promised a friend, I'll definitely cut down my (ever-so-cherished-solace) time with my PC (most importantly, internet stuff).

(2) Miyavi...the depression.

Ah...yah, I have to admit I'm a self-declared Miyavi fangirl. He's such an insane/crazy/psycho adorkable guy . I've downloaded a lot of his PVs & albums and all sorts, add the frustration in studying Nihonggo for the sake of finally get to chat with him online, & even made a 2 domain directory layout with his pic. And after seeing some scans (friggin' scan 1, friggin' scan 2, friggin' scan 3 ) I got so depressed that the feeling scared me to death. So, I promised myself that I'd "stop" anything which concerns Miyavi (reading his online journal, watching PVs, etc.) for sometime until his new album, MYV POPs** is out on August 2nd. (Sheesh~ I feel really stupid. You have to agree...I know you do.)

And yes, that's all for the ranting, by the way, (I like plugging sites, hate me for that) Please visit our forum at Final Equinox Forum (of course, leeching is allowed as long as you register XD) & if you happened to get bored and all, my Kiasu Crossover Blog & Deafening MP3 Rotation is open for entertainment.
