Appalachian State University is my first choice school, followed by UNC-Charlotte. Hopefully I'll get into one or the other or both.

I got a new camera. A Canon SD1200 IS. It's just a point&shoot but it's 10 megapixels which is just as good as my big bulky SLR. It's useful. I almost like it more than my other.

And I'm doing school diving this year! It's really fun, and I'm not too bad. I'm learning dives pretty fast. Although Monday I smacked my thigh really hard. Whatever, it's fun.

I suppose that's all?
Oh yeah, I hate high school.

I am so tired of school. Half the stuff I'm "learning" I'm never going to use in life. Who cares about every single battle of the Civil War? or what eutrofication is. Obviously I don't. At least spring break is coming up pretty soon, and flowers are starting to bloom. Hopefully that means tons of new pictures, as long as I'm not too lazy.

I'll just start selling to friends and family members, and they're not that expensive. The one that costs the most is only $16, but it's by far everyone's favorite. That one is "Love Forever." There's one for only $4 also. I'm just really excited. Maybe I'll finally be able to pay for gas!

Well, still, buy my prints. It will make my day.

My birthday is in a month & a day. All I'm asking for is just a personalized license plate. And maybe a Nikon D40x, but, ya know, I'm not getting my hopes up.

I thought my IB classes were going to be really hard but they're not at all. Everyone's saying that they are... but they're not. As long as I just do the work and stay on top of things I'm fine. I should do good this year.

Everyone's telling me I need to think about where I want to go to college. No freakin' way. Thanks for telling me everyday. I'm going up to Appalachian State in late September with my aunt to view the campus and get an idea of what it's like there. Also this summer I'm going on a cross-country trip with my dad so on our way around the country I bet we'll be seeing a few colleges.

So I guess that's it for now. I'm just really happy right now. Things are going great for me! Hopefully for you all too

Buuuut I've been out of school for a week now. I started getting a sore throat last weekend and didn't think anything of it. Then my tonsils started swelling so it was hard for me to breathe. Then to make things even more nasty, my dad looked at them and almost threw up. There's this white... STUFF all over them. I don't even know what it is and it won't come off. We wen't to the last Monday and they diagnosed me with strep throat and gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way. By Thursday things wern't looking too good, in fact they were worse. My tonsils were even bigger and I couldn't swallow even liquid. I got a different type of antibiotic and over the weekend it helped a little. Last night I was about to take a shower when I noticed these weird red and purple spots all over my body. I told my dad and he scheduled an appointment for me the next day [today]. He didn't let me go to school... again. I went back to the doctor for the third time [third time's a charm hopefully!] and they took a blood test and I tested positive for mono. Sweet. Now I'm not allowed to go to school for the rest of this week. That's two weeks now. Ten days of school I've missed! I'm only allowed three absences per semester otherwise I fail if I don't get them appealed! I'm going to have so much make-up work to do it's not even funny. And what's worse is that I'm not going to be able to spend Valentines day with my boyfriend. He better send me flowers or something. Bahaha.

So that's it. I've been living off of Wendy's frostys and Vitamin Water for the last week now. Hope your life is a tad better at the moment.

On the other hand, I'll have a buttload more soon because I'm leaving for Hawaii in two days. I have to get up at 5 in the morning. :[ Anyway, our plane leaves at 8 or something, then we're switching planes in Dallas, Texas. After an 8 hour flight we land on Ohau and staying there for a week to go sightseeing, snorkeling, hiking, and whatnot. We might even take a helicopter to fly and see the sights better. The next week we're going to be on Norwegian cruise lines and go island hopping for another week. The ship travels overnight and docks early in the morning so we can get off onto the island and do whatever we want. And the best part is my grandparents are paying for all of it except for our airfare. I'm so excited.

So yes, much more awesome photography coming soon.
