And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

Anais Nin:

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard:

Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived.

played by Patrick Stewart, from the film "Star Trek: Generations"

Carl Sandburg:

Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep.

Elbert Hubbard:

Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

Goethe:

A useless life is an early death.

HH the Dalai Lama:

What is the meaning of life? To be happy and useful.

Helen Keller:

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

One week later and I still feel Wednesday 28th of March was special!
Last week the first Jeddah DevMeet took place bringing Chai A Bas, one of the coolest places in Jeddah, to life.
A group of young artists held an exhibit to show their photography, graphics, oil painting, calligraphy, drawing...
People who visited said: I didn't know gatherings like this took place in Jeddah! They loved the artworks, the youth spirit, and the friendly atmosphere..
Some artists were approached by people who wanted to buy their prints and paintings.. It was a good opportunity to meet people who are active in this the artistic feild.
Personally if I know every couple of months my work will be exhibited in such an atmosphere this will give me a push to produce more artwork. They will form a deadline for me.
If it wasn't for the effort of [link] [link] [link] and [link] this avantgardist even wouldn't have taken place
Everybody went home with the events T-shirt designed by the talented [link] tagged: Veni Vidi Pixi, and a box of Tahinia by the event's generous sponsor: Tema
