It seems to make people angry. And, in short, I agree. But I'm sick of watching people feel bad, so here goes.

We grew in 2006. That is the bottom line. Growth hurts. Change is a difficult. And I think that is why everyone is so angry. Correct me if I'm wrong, but without all the experiences we had this year, we would be different people, and honestly, for all our problems, I like who we are. We're a bunch of teenagers on our way to becoming (hopefully functioning) adults. We were told from the outset that the process wouldn't be fun, and this year proved them right.

Here's my proposal for 2007. Let's be happier, whether things get better or not.

Hokay. So. It is finally summer, and I am incredibly relieved and happy. I totally fucked-up my geometry exam, I'm pretty sure. One of my justifications on the arguments was "Penguins cannot fly." Yeah. That was how lost I was on that last argument. But whatev. It's done. I already burned all my geo and bio tests on the driveway this morning. It was really really really fun. I was like "BURN IN HELL!!!!" *torches circles test* Good fun, good fun. I ended up using like 15 matches because it took so long for the paper to ignite. I think the humidity was just a little bit higher than ideal for torching papers. But it burned eventually, so it's all good. I'm just hoping my parents don't notice the slight residue of gray sludge on the driveway when they get back...
Yeah. So I've got driver's ed (classroom part) next week. Woohoo. But after that, it's two weeks and then off to NCSA!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait. It's probably a little screwed up that my idea of fun is going to chamber music camp for 5 weeks and playing my ass of for like 8 hours every day, but I do not care. right.
