Although I only managed to watch Voyager and skipped TNG (which is the one more loved--I think?) I do love the whole franchise. Well one reason for this is I'm a frustrated scientist. Lol.

Anyway, the new installment was a whole lot of fun. It didn't alienate new comers to the franchise. So even if you never seen even one episode, you'll still have fun with the movie. Abrams brought something fresh from a classic series.

I won't say much, but the only downside to the movie is, it kinda lost its intelligence or something like that. Star Trek isn't Star Wars. Series like TNG, DS9, VOY and the others alike will make people think, asks questions about science, etc. But with this one, these things were overpowered with all the action and effects.

But--it's definitely not that bad. It's not a great movie, but it's definitely an enjoyable one.

I need to stop procastinating. I started rendering Issa's lineart a few days ago and I'm 75% done. Unfortunately, I don't know how and why, but I've gotten tired of it. I still think the composition is not that great. Somehow, I don't know if I'm satisfied with the colors. Grr. Anyway, if anyone would mind giving me an advice on this, I would gladly appreciate it.
