I've been hiding out in a forest, about 33kms out of the nearest town. Working. ETA: I know exactly what I coming out in clothing fashions for 2009. It's very weird.

Anyway, those shoes I finished a while back? I got a fairly good response from my mum and sister, and I'm currently doing shoes for them in my spare time (read: Not Much). Expect photos soon.

If I was to sell these kinds of shoes (we're talking $15 flats for girls here, not $80 Converse Hi-Tops, I can't afford those right now, not with a $400 tattoo I'm getting on the 25th) who would be interested in buying them? Also, does anyone know of anywhere I can sell them and not have to pay huge amounts in listing and sale fees?

ETA: A girl at work has already commissioned a pair.

I was thinking of selling the shoes for $35-$40 a pair, because that covers the cost of the shoes, my minimal spare time, Copics AND the waterproofing spray, plus postage. But I'm not too sure yet, so don't get yer hopes up, ladies.

I got called in again today, after my first fantastic day yesterday(I managed my emergency bra-shopping run yesterday, lol, it only took 15 mins go me). I was in the back unpacking stock. I was there from 1.30 til about 5, but at 3.30, the manager came in when I asked for something else to do. Now, if every invoice is for three boxes, and there were four invoices...how much stock did I shift? They were impressed, lol.

Anarchy99 was a club of bad guys from xXx, which was an awesome movie. Full of stuff blowing up, which is relevant to my interests. Adrian has been my nickname since I was 13, I picked it because it was androgynous and confused people.

03.] Do you use PC or Mac?

PC.

04.] What programs do you use most often?

Word, Pidgin and CS 2.0

05.] Do you use mouse, or tablet?

I prefer doing everything by hand, then using the mouse to fix stuff up. I hate my tablet (any tablet, really) with a fiery passion.

06.] What color or color combinations do you find yourself using most often?

Pinks and greens, orange and blue...etc...anything that clashes awfully.

07.] What part of a picture do you put most effort into?

All of it, it's all the same.

08.] How long does it take you do draw a picture?

Never any longer than 1 hour if it's handdrawn/coloured.

09.] Do you keep your rough drafts?

No, they get scrapped.

10.] What font do you use most often?

Stargate SG1 font, I use it as my watermark and sig. Other than that all my Word documents are in Sylfaen.

11.] When you scan your image, what DPI do you use?

DPI? I have no idea.

12.] Do you do anything else when you're drawing?

Drink heavily (no shit. Either coffee or whiskey, depending on circumstances) and listen to loud music.

13.] Approximately how many pictures do you draw in a month?

TONS. My stack of paper reaches the top of my bed some months.

14.] What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?

My spiffy markerproof paper. It stops the copics from bleeding.

15.] What kind of paper do you use for rough sketches and drafts?

Uh, regular old cartridge.

16.] How long does it take you to ink something?

About five minutes on a normal job, ten on something awesome. The worst inking jobs are those like Batman, which took three days.

17.] Do you do comics, or fan comics?

I'm working on a comic now. I'm not too good on fan comics tho.

I love comics. And they're a PAIN IN THE ASS TO MAKE.

Yeah. A complaint letter.

No, damnit.

I love comics. Jim Steranko is my favourite comic artist, and my favourite series are the X-Men series in general.

No. Being accused of plagarisim and not being original is enough for me to never want to draw like anyone but me.

Lots and lots.

No. My dad buys them for me, they're generally great for refs, but I don't need them. My sister likes borrowing them though.

Inkwork. Ink pens, specifically, because the colours are darker than they are with a brush (IMO).

I'd like to be a pro at Photoshop. I'm getting there.

Yes. Unfortunately, they're not as willing to hear opinions and options to make it better as I am. Generally all they wanna hear is "OMFG U R SO GUD AT DRAWINK LULZ".

My Art diary is shit. I know this, because I did it myself. It is mostly half assed sketches and unfinished inkwork, and due to this, I've found a very old one and am pretending I started it a week ago.

I refuse to photocopy my refrences. They're references, and I only need ONE, because I'm not a pedantic asshat like you. And if you try to get me to cut up my comic books (or heaven forbid my sister's FF12 guide) not only will I be mad, I will throw my entire body of work out.

I have spent four hours today, attempting to clean up my art diary. I've also spend well over $20 on stationary, so that I can put my references into the damn diary without ruining them (wrath of sister NOT GOOD).

I also have no actual work to show ATM, because it's all still hanging up in a gallery. THAT isn't my fault. You blame me, I'll kill you. And if you're still not satisfied, and dare to call me lazy, with no organisational/time management skills AGAIN, I'll throw my shit at you and storm out. You can take your little critique and shove it where the sun don't shine. I'm only doing this course because YOU asked me to.

1. I bite my nails. Obsessively.
2. I drink coffee like it's going out of fashion. In the hour and a half it takes for me to get ready to go to school, after I've walked my dogs, I can drink in excess of ten cups of coffee.
3. I clean my room for no reason. It won't be messy, and I'll be in there vaccumming and cleaning and washing. At 3am.
4. I stare. I'm not actually doing it deliberately, but when I'm doing something, like, drawing, for example, I'll stare at absolutely nothing for a long time. Sometimes, I just stare because you're all weird.
5. I will stay up for days when I have a new game to play. Currently, I'm up to all hours of the night playing FF12, but I can survive on less than 4 hours sleep.
6. I obsessively plan things. I have to have a set time to do something, what I have to do, and what is going to happen. If I don't have a strict routine, I panic.

2. I don't like people seeing my half-finished sketches, which is why my Scraps Gallery is so small.
3. I love coffee so much, that for my birthday, my mother bought me a shirt with the caffine molecule printed on it. Unfortunately, I haven't had my birthday yet, so no shirt.
4. I've got no problem with my own body. I don't get a lot of girls and how they're 'too fat' or whatever. I'm me sized. I'm happy with my size (even if I am a little too thin) and I couldn't care less if I answered the door in my bra and frightened the life out of the Jehovah's Witnesses. They should read the damn sign on the door, anyway.
5. I can't work without music. Similarly, I can't work with people talking.
6. I always run out of ideas by the Sixth Thing.

1. Humanity in general. Our race is arrogant and stupid.
2. Those effing morons who are all 'make peace not war.' The second you tell them you're joining the military, they're all OMG LOVE NOT WAR and yet they don't get that the reason I'm going OUT there is so that they HAVE the right to peace. I want to keep my family and friends safe, so let me do my damn job.
3. I hate bandaids. Hate them.
4. People talking over the top of me. I hate it, it gets me really, really riled up.
5. Physio. I'm SO over my knees, I just wish the problems with them would go away. Some days, I can't walk at all, and others I'm fine, but I still have to do the work on my knees regardless of how they're working that day.

I hate it. With a passion. The only person I can talk to on the phone for ever is my Dad, cos I don't see him. But I'm just awful on the phone, I'm all....nonresponsive and grunting and yelling at the cat. I hate it, I'd rather see the person.

Single, which is a bitch, but at least I don't have to worry about offending people now.

I used to play guitar all the time, but I haven't got one of my own so I just stopped. I sing a bit, mostly to myself. But I'm frikkin' awesome on the kazoo. I have a bright yellow kazoo. Now I just have to find it....

I got into a mock 'fight' with Spac yesterday, and he hit me pretty hard in the face, which was awesome.

I left school after doing some homework, with Imo (who is totally evil) and others. Only to have my iPod stolen right from my pocket.

Then I got home after reporting it to the police, only to have searing pain in my kidneys and a VERY embarrassing episode in the hallway. Yay for kidney infections.

I won't be at school tomorrow. I've got to get to a doctor ASAP, or I'll be in hospital again. Once was enough.

I'm gonna go hide in my room now, because it's safe and warm and I can pretend this isn't happening.

I played handball with the guys and got a massive tan because I decided to take off my shirt (before I was even pissed), got absolutely maggoted on CS Cowboys (thanks, Midgey), sat around and giggled at people like a high four year old and probably spilled the beans on a few things I may have not wanted to. And I didn't get a hangover.

And Brent is gonna remember the lot. GO ME.

But I had fun. So nyeh.

6 weird things...

1. I love scars. I'm absolutely fascinated by them. Anyone's.
2. I'm most definitely not self concious. I run around my house in just a bra and jeans, regardless of guests, and I played handball yesterday in the same.
3. I'm absolutely hopeless at hinting to someone I like them. So I get someone else to do it for me.
4. I normally get up super-early and catch the earliest bus, just so I can walk from the New Town pharmacy to school, cos it wakes me up.
5. I wear boxers at home. And I'll be stuffed if I'm gonna wear actual underwear to bed. I only wear proper "made for girls" underwear to school, or when I go out.
6. I hate being so skinny, but sometimes I love it. It's fun when people pick you up off the ground because you're so tiny, but I hate it because there are never any jeans that fit!
