Anyway, I kept moaning and hinting that I would LOVE a new camera, even a small point and shoot to help with my lack of stress relief.. Can you guess what I got?

A CAMERA!

A point and shoot, that takes fabulous pictures! Even at full zoom the subjects come out clear and sharp. I am so happy! I even already used it for a new addition to my gallery.

So as you see, I have put a few more pictures up. Makes me happy, but what makes me sad at the same time is that the only way I could get those pictures is by finding an old file, and using the camera on my phone. It doesn't do great, but some times does the job. Good news is that now I have my OWN computer to play around on, so even when I don't have new pictures, I can play with old ones!

I took the opportunity to update my gallery look. I have seen others do this, but I never had the time to do so myself. I put all my work into seperate folders. Everything in my "Featured" will be my newest work. Not sure how long they will stay there but long enough I suppose. I had tried to do a themed project where I had to find certain things of different catagories, and I'm hoping the folders will keep me organized and focused on it.

So every one enjoy, and hopefully this year will be better artistically too.

It doesn't help that the holidays are coming up either. Not only do pictures help me, but the memories they capture are irreplaceable and precious to me. So much so that scrapbooks and photo albums are included in my list of "What I'm Gonna Grab" should something happen. My kids are on there somewhere too.

So that's all I can really say for now.

Sorry nothing has been on for awhile... I can't really post anything and drawing isn't in my veins lately...

Well, I went to the Zoo today ... and wow was it a good picture day. All the animals were active! Each picture I took had personality, but not all were good enough to post. I like the ones I did get posted though ... With a little cropping, maybe more can be added.

Got a favor for all that actually read these ...

I want to improve my color pictures ... I never seem to take any. I need some projects to take on so I can take on. Themes if you will, and all the pictures in it have to have an obvious color. So, please, GIVE ME SOME!! Please?

Varied Artist is what discribes me, and looking at my gallery will tell you that I do a lot. Apparently it's genetic. The only thing I don't have up is any literature, and that's just 'cause I haven't put it up yet. I have it, I just have to find it. (Happens when you move, it takes years for everything to get unpacked, especially for lazy people like me! ) I was looking at a friend of mine's art, and it reminded me that I do a lot of Portrait Photography. I can't put it all up, but those of who I really know and don't care can go up just to show I can actually do it.
