I know this is supposed to be my art account, and that I haven't posted anything in forever, but I still think there's a point to getting it back onto it's feet. As for re-kindling my artyness, it's been going the whole time, but only on a small scale. Just doodling here and there, maybe doing a little something for someone, etc. Sadly, most of my drawings don't get past the sketching stage, so I'll sift through and see if there's any I want to ink... my manga's gone down the drain but my chibis are still cute! So expect chibis from now on. ^^

I've done a few collabs with *Sheikan-fire, which are adoribubble!! Some she inked and I drew, some I inked and she coloured. ^^ They'll be finsihed soon, and so far they look soooooo great!! X3 I think they're mostly if not all Trauma Centre ones. Oh no!! There's a Phoenix Wright one, too. ^^

My friend gave me a couple of copies of ViVi magazine from Hong Kong, and I don't understand a single word, but the clothes are gorgeous!! I'm gonna do some fanart in casuals soon, maybe. ^^ (*Sheikan-fire, when you've finished with it, pleeease may I have it back? It has kimonos in!!) I kimonos. :3

Presents...

I think by far my favourite is my FMA book in Japanese and English from :sheikan-fire:. I keep picking it up and whiling away hours and hours with it!! It's soooo pwetty!! With great reference. ^^ There's also a bunch of cute and brilliant quotes, like 'There is a rumour that when some fans first saw his hairstyle, they epected him to sting his enemy with his hair like the famous monster boy'!! XD

This is closely followed by my pink, floating duck radio, which I can use in my bath. ^^ It is sooooooo cute!!! I also loooove my two bags from my school friend (silver-leathery material, gorgeous), and a negima bag from ~Erulisse, which all my fav characters on!! Both are sweet. ^^

My brother bought me a Kylie Mynogue CD, although I haven't listened to it yet. She's my role-model - short, blond, sings, like me!! ^w^ Except I'm nothing like her!! XDDD And my other brother got me a magical creatures manga book!! It'll really help me. ^^

So yeah, and I got fluffy socks!! and chocolate!! (which I haven't eaten yet o.o) OH! And a set of artist pencils!!!~ I love them so much!!

Ummm... I really want my bath now *hugs Ducky, as imaginatively named*, so I'll update if anything else occurs to me. =^^=

It's not that I hate you guys, DA or anything else, I'm just so bogged down with the ridiculous slog of my upcoming GCSEs (even though they're a year away, the government decided to make it so even people who don't want it have to drown in work), and thus I have been online less and less. And even once I've finished coursework and pther tasks, I have to do revision, because if left to the last minute it kills you.

DA has ben the one place I can really show my colours, and I have really enjoyed and appreciated that. Words can't describe how thankful I am to all of you, and I hope you won't hate me. I won't be angry if you do, though, because I've been terrible, comitting to something I can't. I'd give anything for just a few more hours a day to check up on you guys, and I wish I could do something about being so useless.

You mean more to me than anything, but like I've had to learn with other things, I have to climb other obstacles before I can reach a time when I have only what I want. I hope that by being more on top of my homework this year I can have some more free time, but I can't promise anything.

I'm so sorry, and thank you to those of you who have read this rant. This doesn't mean I'm leaving forever, it's just that I can't really do as much as I'd want to on here. I'll probably only be able to come on very occasionally, and not really do much anyway. I might as well be dead, but I could never leave.

So how are you all?

I've been busy all holiday. I've got tons to do, absolutely loads. Well, thats what I've been telling myself, when I can see around from under the shadowy doom of the aproaching GCSEs, coursework and of course everything else, I'll tell you if it's really loads or not. XDDD

I might be posting some of the work I've done this summer, because I am quite pleased with it, and its pwetty (in my humble opinion).
I'm starting a comic about Rem and Misa from Death Note (plugs ears against squeals from DN fans) but I've only sketched one page so far, and I'm not very consistent when it comes to these things. I'll try my best, though, because it's going to be cute. =3
Following in the footsteps of my Koge Donbo style Misa-misa, I have sketched a keeeyute L and Raito eating strawberries in Koge Donbo style using yet another pose my uber keeeyute calendar. Hopefully they will be done soon. ^w^
I have a ton of mini chibi comics dating back from way before I got my hair cut. -_- Oh dear... so I need to neaten those up and ink them in, maybe edit some on the computer.
I want to do some fanart of Negima, because it's just sooo cute and bubbly and right up my street (and in honour of Fei Ku-cosplayer ~Aihiro)!!
I did a few sketches of the kind of plushies I'd expect Misa to have (especially when she was younger), and they are so cugly and uute (a mixture of ugly and cute XD) that I have to get them up here, ink or no ink. X3
I also did a sketch of L in a suit (Dun Dun DUN!!!! O0O) so that has to be up here for the Death Note fans.
A Koge Donbo style (I'm thinking of using that as a permenant influence) sketch of Rosie 'The Muffin Girl' should make i's way here, because it is also cute. I L.O.V.E cute. -^^-
'Mello Kitty', the most adorable mutated sanrio Death Note character in the world, will be coming here, very, very soon.
Mikami Voodoo Doll' is a recent essential idea that must be honed for fan consumption.
On top of all the other DN fanart, I'd also like to do a Rem and Misa, perhaps shopping or picking apples. ^^
Maybe some Harry Potter fanart. Maybe.
'The Book Vampire' will illustrate my dangerous desire for devoruing delicious stories.
A spontanious desire to do the whole Death Note cast in chibis (possibly even Raito's family and some of the smaller parts, because it wouldn't be anywhere near as awesome without them and they deserve some attention too.

Right, before I come up with any more ideas I'm going to stop right there. This is just too much!!! If I try and get through all this, I won't be able eat or sleep for a week!! ... I guess it's snail 'n' slog time, guys... -o-

Cosplay at Recon

Yup!! My first ever (official) cosplay!! There was a Manga Evening at the bookshop, so *Sheikan-fire *Erulisse and I went as Matt, Mello and Misa from Death Note!! I got a haircut so now I have a cute fringe. ^3^ Yay~ I also made some new friends!! -- ~Aihiro who cosplayed as Fei Ku from Negima (an awesome costume) and *Tomoyo-hime who was our Death Note fangirl!! It was great, and we got some free sneaks, a catoglogue and a DVD I have yet to watch. ^^ So, it was great. But I was wiped afterwards (I was wiped the eveing before that, too). I need more schweep. >.<

I've been doing alot of Death Note fanart recently, and I still still still have those Edward Elric comics to ink and post. I'm going to kick off with a keeyoot Misa sketch, cos I'm so scared of ruining it. XD Everything else, well... I'll just have to ink them. -o-

Holidays

Finally on my summer holidays, folks! God it feels so great!! I kinda feel sad though, cos it's not going to last forever (or at least, for a very long time...) T3T Oh well... I've just got to enjoy it to the full!! >w< We're (my twin and I) having a sushi party on 28th July!!~ (Our real one's on the 20th August, but everyone's usually away by then XD) I can't wait~

I know I've already mentioned this, but I'm so glad I got my hair cut! I was pretty scared at first, because it was reeeeally long before, and it was heavy, too (well, now it feels light, anyways XD). I'm petite. Everwhere. All over. >.< I'm not skinnyskinnyskinny though, I'm just normal. ^^

Um... I'm not sure, I think it might be 7.5-8 stone, but I have to weigh myself again soon (on scales that don't say I'm 5 stone!!)

I'm short (only just hit 5 ft) and... I feel like a year seven most of the time. I hang around with tall(ish) people, so I feel very small alot of the time. But it's kinda nice sometimes. ^^

Technically 2.5 in British measurement, but I buy 3. (sorry, I don't know what that is in other countries )

8. Girls - are you tomboyish, girly, normal, etc?
Girly bordering normal. I like pink, I like fluffy, and I love shopping. But, I'm ok with bugs and insects (I hoover up spiders and such for my sister) and I don't wear make up much, if not at all.

Hey folks, just coming by to update and stuff, sorry I haven't been on much lately I have my real R.S. GCSE Paper 1 tomorrow (I'm taking shortcourse, so that means I take it early), so I've been trying to revise as much as possible. But yesterday, I thought I only had a nasty cold, but then I realized late that night I had a temperature. So, I'm off school today, doing my best to recover. VxV

Also, I gave my 'cold' to *Sheikan-fire, so I'm just praying she doesn't have a temperature on the day of the exam... that'd be awful.... T3T

Yeah... so, done my best to enjoy today, which I succeeded in, since it was nice... shopping, out with my niece... yeah...

My tummy feels tight and crampy, I know why but don't really wanna say, I'm afraid. It'll go away soon, and I feel kinda cold, but it will go away... I just need to read and warm myself up and ... yeah, do my best.

I motivated myself to do some homework, but I didn't have a calculator (maths problems), so I need to check it over when I'm back. God, my hands are cold... even my head feels kinda cold...

Yes, I am alive... only just, but I still am... technically... oxo

So, I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys sooner... And I'm even more sorry I haven't been on that much... but in case you were wondering, I was away in Italy for five days (and with my mum around that means two or three days packing either way). I went to Mt Vesuvius, Capri, Pompei, Herculanium (a city that was destroyed by a lava flow) and Solfatara (an old volcano). It was fantastic!! >w< We stayed in Sorrento, and the hotel was alright, and the restaurant was on the top (fifth) floor!! Since it was literally a few metres away from the sea, we had a spectacular view of the Mediterranean (did I spell that right?)! However, the reception was also on the top floor, so the first few poor souls carried their cases up the stairs, until a member of staff pointed out the lift and took our cases with him. Then, my two friends and I found out we were on the bottom floor (how pointless was it taking those cases up?). Anyways, it was magnificent, and I can't believe I went to Capri... My favourite day was either shopping in Sorrento and Capri or Pompei and Solfatara. We had an excellant guide for Solfatara, and Pompei too (though he was always on the phone! XD). The Solfatara guy was called Nicola, and ever since I said that I liked with stick (the type of ones that are used for mountain climbing) He seemed to really like me, so appointed me as his 'helper' and gave me rocks and aromatic leaves. oxO XD Anyhoo, Solfatara is actually an active volcano, because although it has a big layer of soft rock sealing it's crater, it's actually hollow (Nicola threw a huge rock into the air and the boom said it all). It has lots of fumeroles (vents) that let out hot gases too. There were two built-up ones called Hell and Pergetry (eternal hell?). Pergetry was 60oC and Hell was 90oC. The sulphur gases and the heat are good for the respiratury system and skin. So, we've technically been to Hell and back XDDD

Sooo... *deep breath and sigh* I've got tons of messages again, and I'm back in an arty mood. I'm on my Easter holidays and my parents are arguing again, but at least it's Easter and I have my essentials. I'm going to seriously work on my art over the holidays, but I've got to revise for my RS GCSE and I've also got loads of Music work to record etc. -_- I've got my work cut out, huh?

Ah well... It won't last forever. ^^

Sorry, I forgot to say about my teacher's April Fool's joke.

When we were going to climb Vesuvius, she said, in her most serious voice, that we had to be careful on certain footpaths, because too many tremors could cause volcanic activity, or speed it up. Therefore, we had to tiptoe nearer the top and whisper. (We didn't actually do it XD)

Another previous joke she'd pulled in the Lake District, was that the sheep there had two legs shorter than the other, so they could get around the hills easily! The funniest part was, some sixth formers actually believed her and started pointing at the sheep and saying, 'Yep, this sheep definately has shorter legs!' XDDDDDD My Geography teacher's so cool. ^^

I'm doing some Fullmetal Alchemist fanart!!! I have three ideas for comics, I'm trying to draw Riza Hawkeye, and I've done a few sketches of Edo!! (I've read up to vol. 9, by the way).

1. I have voices in my head ... No seriously, it's just like talking to myself (I do that too) only worse and in my head. oxo There can be like, five voices at one time! And they all say different things!! >< I remember once, there were two voices arguing over something, and they were screaming at each other. I was hugging someone at the time, and I wondered how they couldn't hear me!! ><;; But yesh, the voices do help me alot. ^^ They help me think about my options first and they comfort me.

2. I can down alot of food even when I'm not hugry. owo Especially if I'm brooding or depressed. Like yesterday, I had some pizza when we ate out, then came back home and had a bowl of cereal (fillies? jumblies? they're like shreddies only they have chocolate stuff in 'em
), then I think I ate a whole 4x4 chocolate bar, went to sleep, and in the morning had a bread roll and two bowls of cereal. >< BIG bowls. In the end I'd managed to eat the whole box in a few hours!! ><;; And I dunno where I put it all!! *goes off to eat some more* Well, I've put ona bit of weight, which I suppose is good. God I've been stuffing myself on this trip!

3. I am an awful daydreamer. I once went up to my room to tidy up and then sat down on my bread and reflected. I looked at the clock and 1 1/2 hours had gone by!! I do it alot. Everyday! I sometimes end up being late because I lay in bed daydreaming. Ahh... but I can't help it. I just have to daydream... It's so peaceful... *snaps out of it and gets on with the quiz*

4. I am extremely clingy. I always want to be with at least one of my friends and I'm always hugging them. When someone leaves, I'll end up hugging them forever because I don't want them to go.

5. I am quite difficult to label. I'm an all-rounder in most things, and often like complete opposites. I'm sociable with anyone, so I can talk to different kinds of people. I think ~Pakaku came up with something, I can't remember what though... o.O Remember? Examples of how extreme this is are: R&B/Metal, Pale colours/Dark, etc. yes, I am an oddball. -.-

6. I have violent moodswings. x.x Even now, I'm running out of steam. I can change my mood in less than a second, with only the slightest trigger (oh no! I think I'm turning into my mum! *panics* ) .... yah.

Okies, so in Belgium, the Land of Chocolate, so when my dad finishes work, we can go out souvenir and chocolate shopping! *u* Tomorrow we come back home.

Las pointer!!!! I would like to create a club, maybe in a few months time (i.e., when my messages are all gone and I don't have too much stff to do >< I would like to create a club. My two ideas are one where people write their life stories or hardships or whatever and put them in the club, or my newer better idea being The Huggle Community!! Where everyone who needs a huggle is welcomed and huggled with love and care. People can talk to others and can be listened to, and be given lots of huggles to make 'em feel better. ^^ (Actually, I prefer the latter.) Please feed back and tell me if you'd like to be involved, one way or another. but bear in mind this will be quite a while coming, so... Yesh, please tell me what you think!

I felt really ill over New Years, but I had a brief spell of the usual spirit at midnight, then felt really tired... I've been sick recently, so I don't feel that great, but I'm gonna be back to my usual bouncing-off-the-walls self by next week. ^^ Yuppers, thats a promise!

New Year's Resolutions....

We were going to fast when a car in front braked and we couldn't stop in time. We went into the back of it and the front of our car ripped off. The driver in front's car wasn't too bad, but our car had to be wheeled into the side of the road. No one was hurt, but my sister hurt her thumb (very VERY minor, I think it's called a blood clot - under the nail). I myself feel fine, I'm ill at the moment and I've been having head aches and coughs and stuff for a few days, so there's nothing different there. The gentleman we crashed into was very kind (he didn't look particularly kind, and he didn't sound all that kind either), he gave us a lift back home stopping at his house on the way, to take down details. He even offered my sister and I a drink! My brother was a bit shocked at the time, but when we got home (he'd called my mum before) my mum cried a bit and so did he. Everyone was ok after that though. Thank God for seat belts!!

Anyways, apart from having a funny throat, I'm okies. I did text my friend *Sheikan-fire though, I just wanted to tell somebody. ^^ I hope I haven't worried any of you, but I just wanted to say something because I naturally have to let things out and that would make me feel a little more normal (I DO feel normal, just weird normal o.O).

...*sigh*... I became friends with her last year. Before we'd never liked each other, then, I dunno... we just got friendlier. Then she was crying one day... she was my good friend's best friend, and I just felt for her... she had home troubles and she'd broken up with her previous best friend. My good friend comforted her and I followed. She said she was going to go to Las Vegas and get away from everything and everyone. Fortunately, or for some (trouble and stuff with other friends of mine), unfortunately, she didn't go. Through that year and the beginning of this we were good friends. She said that she'd always be there for me. She often told me to take care of myself, nt in passing, she really meant it Once she said that I was 'the closest thing we have in this class'. I think she meant that I was friendly to everyone and cared about them (not boasting... I just try to be friendly to everyone). *sigh* Yeah... so we were good friends.

Now she's depressed... hell, I have no idea why. Booys, maybe, friends, maybe... God knows. I tried to ask her in a lesson, but she just said there was alot of stuff on her mind. She wouldn't tell me what. And thing is, she's not been right for at least a couple of weeks now... and she won't tell me why. I try to comfort her y hugging her and saying I'm here for her, but she ignores me. I've endured it, because I can understand she doesn't want me randomly hugging her and disturbing her. I understand she needs space, but I get worried and anxious. So today, I admit, it must have been annoying for her, but I asked her if she really was ok. She ust kinda mumbled a yes whilst avoiding eye contact and looking completely not ok. Then I asked her to look at me because I thought that she had been crying. She did look me in the eye, and I don't think she had been, but then she looked away. She was extremely down. I tried to hug her but she moved to the front. Whilst I tried to tell her I was there for her other's around us told me to leave her alone (not nastily, civilly). I can understand, but I just wanted her to know I was there. My friend stuck up for me, so thanks to her! ^^

But... I don't understand why she should ignore me. At least she could endure me. But she doesn't even do that anymore. She just carries on and doesn't look at me. She doesn't care aout me like she used to. And yet I'm not wanting to let her down, I don't want to leave her, and I don't want to abandon her just because she won't listen to me. Maybe she just can't. I don't know...

And it's kinda getting me down... she said to me once 'people don't appreciate people like you, Rosie'. Even at that time, I wondered if she really did appreciate me. Back then she may well have done, but not anymore. Now she may get better and everything will got back to normal, but I doubt it.

Also, I almsot cry when I think that she would hate me, because I'm bisexual... her and maybe a few others too. I'm sure none of you would hate me for that though. People wouldn't say hi to me in corridors (even now some of them ignore me sometimes...) if they knew. Many many people in our year would hate me, and even though I'd probably still try to be nice to them, I'd hate fr them to push me away. I always feel comfortable around lots of people, even when I'm thinking private things. And.. to have them push me away might just (maybe I'm overexaggerating..) break my heart. Even though most of them aren't brilliant friends, the thought upsets me. One thing I really want is acceptance. Even if it means I hide from them sometimes, thats what I want, which I find sad even myself. Of course, I don't mind if someone rejects me for what I've done or I'm not their kind of person, but for what I am and not who I am just hurts. The reason I know she'd hate me is that her best friend who comforted her (who has left now) was rumoured to be a lesbian, because she'd held Emma's hand in comforting her. I think it's silly, but some people gossiped about it. Guess what Emma did? She blanked her own best friend, the one who had cared for her. I felt very very upset for my good friend, not only because people were rumouring about her, but because of what Emma did. That means she'd do the same to me. And who's to say she hasn't suspected, and blanks me anyway? I don't know what people say about me behind my back. I've no idea.

*sigh* You know what? Maybe I'll ask her that question some time and see what I did wrong. I'll be glad to hear what she says, critical or whatever, just so long as she says something.

So, 've been so happy lately. The happiest I've ever been, which is odd, because all my friends have broken up and.... you get the point. But today, I'm just not as happy as I should be. I'm still grateful for every friend I have and every smile I make, but I'm just on top of it. I don't really know why, all my thoughts are so scattered and I can't seem to gather them like I usually can. So most of the time I can't even remember why I wasn't happy. o.O

I have a few basic ideas... but they're silly on their own. REALLY silly, an even now they aren't really whats wrong. So, there's no real point in mentioning them...

... and then you thought you could get away.

My friend called me up when I got home (no one from here, or school). She sounded quite miserable, and then when I'd got into my room to gave a quiet conversation, she started talking about her family (her aunty, who adopted her - they've been going through a rough patch for the past few weeks). All of a sudden she was crying and I could hardly make sense of what she was saying. I tried my best to talk to her but she was crying so hard that she wouldn't listen to me properly. Then her cousin and her nan came upstairs and she left the phone to start telling (or shouting) to them to go away. Then I reckon her nan calmed her down, and said a few things to her. Then she picked the phone up again and said she'd call me back, er voice still shaken and terribly broken. I can't desricbe what it was like listening to her cry, and not being able to be there to cuddle her and tell her it wass going to be ok. And the fact she doesn't go to my school anymore, the truth that I can't go in tomorrow and talk her through it just kills me. It makes me want to cry. I feel kind of bad, that I'm not there, even though it's not my fault. I just wish there was something I could possibly do. But when I heard her cry... I'd seen her cry before, and I'd been there to talk to her. But when she was talking with her nan for a bit and crying and sobbing all I could do was listen. I very nearly cried, and if I was in a slightly different mood I would be.

To know she's sitting at home crying her eyes out is bad enough. The fact that I can't guarantee I can see her is even worse. I'm used to not being able to do a thing about the situation, but when my access to the person is cut off.....I just can't stand it.

I'm really sorry, but I just had to get that off my chest. It only happened a few minutes agao, but she means alot to me. I've known her for 6 years of my life (next January), and we've gone to the same school for over 5 years. Even though we weren't that close until her final year, she still was my friend. She was my first friend and she helped me alot, kind of indirectly but I'm still grateful. She also indirectly taught me alot too. All in all I really care about her and I just feel miserable knowing what she's going through...

I know this sounds childish, pointless, silly... But all I want is for someone to tell me it's going to be ok, that she's going to be ok. That's all I want.

Sooo, it's the weekend and I've been, and still am kinda busy.

On Friday, after school, we (Gerbil and I) went shopping with *Jaws-of-Oblivion and *Sheikan-fire. Then I met my mum and got this gorgeous new top (long, halter-neck, black with silver star material) and I adore it!! It makes me look so grown up, which I'm not really. I also got some new black trousers and a cream top too. ^^ Yays!!

Yesterday (Saturday) I had to go to school because it was an Old School Girls' Day, where former pupils come back to the school for a meeting. I had t go and sing in the choir, and then, as nominated *COUGH*Sheik*COUGH* form captain, I had to guide people round the school.

Not the best way to spend a few hours of a Saturday eh?

...That's what I used to think. *grin* As it turned out, after the service, everyone milled about for a bit, and the guides were shepherded into a classroom and we all sat about chatting, then it was time for lunch. There was a delicious buffet set out, and also some dessert. I had two cream and strawberry scones, which were the last word on gorgeous. We were allowed seconds, but I wasn't that hungry anways and I was worried I'd feel ill. >< Never mind... We went back to the classroom and I read for a bit, until we were moved back into the dining room where most of the visitors were. We stood there smiling and talking with people who walked past, but no one wanted or needed showing round. So, one of the teachers said we could go home early! YAYS!!!

Also that day, we went to my 1/4 sister's 11th birthday dinner (we couldn't go to the disco because of the school thing). It was an Italian restaurant and I had spaghetti bolounaise (I can't spell it!! ><; ) and an ornage sorbet. Yummmm....

Now today I can go round Eru-chan's house for fireworks!! yays!!!!

01] Is there someone who you like at the moment?
haaauh...-_- I dunno. Cos every person I love (or have done so far) it can't work out, and two people in particular I'm trying to stop myself loving them, cos it wont work and we all know it. Makes me feel a bit like a cheater though, even though I didn't necessarily love both at the same time. But now that its agreed, I'm trying to get over one.... and I've never really got over one of them

O2] Have you ever given or been given roses?

O3] What is your all-time favorite romance movie?
Ummm....>< ummmsss.......I don't have one

O4] How many times can you honestly say you've been in love ?
Twice, both were almost completely different. (see question 1 for gabbling details XD) One was a friend who I adored, and one was a friend of friend. I guess I could say I was heart broken, but I'd already been through alot more, so I didn't really become heart broken. I was very upset sometimes, but because I was good friends with both of them, they really helped me. ^^

O5] Do you believe everyone has a soulmate?
I do, but sometimes, you can't be with that soulmate or something T^T

O6] Do you think that you should be friends first?
Not necessarily. Yes, you should talk and stuff before hand, but you dont need to be fully fledged friends.

O7] Have you ever had your heart broken?
...well, I guess it's a yes, but its all fixificated now, aintcha? ^^ *cuddles heart* It always goes running off falling for someone, but it always gets fixed ^^ And now its rawring to go!!

I had one, but we ended it, cos it just didn't feel right T^T Ah well. I'm sowwy, but I'd rather not talk about it too much, but feel free to ask if you wanna. ^^

Well, its best to keep it real, if you understand, but if you love that person dearly and have never met them, then you must be areful if you want to take it anywhere other than the internet.

1O] Would you rather date someone 5-6 years older or 5-6 years
Hmmm...I dunno. I'd prefer a smaller gap though.... younger people are cute, innocent etc., but they have alot to learn and you often must teach them things (not a bad point), but older people are more mature, and perhaps more understanding. A younger guy once liked me, and when I said that I was taken to his friend cos he was too shy to talk to me, he never talked to me again

11] Have you ever seen a friend as more than a friend?
Yup One was kinda more of a fling, but another..... ah well, I don't think any less of anyone for not liking me, even if it hurts.... and if that friend knows who they are, please don;t worry, I'm okies now!!! Still luv ya (friend way lol)!!!

When I take a step back, I see what this is all about. People wanting popularity; People getting angered either by a comment made or a piece of artwork put up on the front page; All in all, just about a tiny matter that really shouldn't have been rolled into something bigger.

It really hit home when one of my friends was getting flamed, and being told her art was 'sh*tty'. I hated reading it. Three things came to me at once: 1. Anger, 2. Reasoning and 3. Peace making and a wish for it to stop. I knew I couldn't be angry and go all out at them for insulting my friend, even though it makes me very upset to think people can do that. Being angry would make it worse. I would possibly only add to the numbers of enraged deviants. Reasoning and persuasion could be used, but it might still be useless and perhaps too late, because people were already very fired up. Peace making would be a similar situation.

But out of the three, I know that reasoning combined with peace is worth a try. And thats why I'm trying to make amends.

I do back down, not necessarily on my beliefs, but on this argument. It wasn't my fight to begin with, nor anyone elses who may have got involved. It was the commenter and a deviant who were the two people involved, but people who stood up for the deviant and the commenter, got involved, and sides began to form. At first, people were battling out their beliefs. Then, they moved away from that and backed up into their own arguments. They each forgot what they were fighting for. And they each turned against each other. (God, I'm making this sound like an epic!!! >< I had to break that gloomy mood...)

But anyway, when I see what they are talking about, I find it almost funny. How serious debating turned into name-calling and insult matches. I'm not saying anyone is pathetic, just how it swung. I suppose this is what we call human nature.

It is also not against human nature to want any more fighting to cease.

All I have left to say now is another apology for any pain I've caused, any wrong I've committed. When I first came to DA I thought it was a wonderful buzzing and very friendly art community. I don't want it to stop being like that. People could call me selfish, but I know hundreds, if not thousands, if not millions of people out there want to same thing as I do. If so many people want something, surely we can achieve it?

Ya, so me and Gerbil didn't participate, cos we were only there for a bit, and we're not always at home at weekends. -_- sor- *stops self, Sheik glares* lol.

Theeeeeeeen, I went and got my hair done! ^^ Its layered at the front and back, I have a side fringe, aaaaand its a bit shorter and lighter (weight) now. ^^ I love it like this yup!!



I miss My friends at school...But I dread my homework. Oh well. I won't let it beat me. Never. Never, you hear?! I won't back down to a few books!! And once I finished those pesky sheets off, I'll work on my campaign on banning homework. Then I'll become Prime Minister and rule the country. Then I'll become the head of the EU, and promote science experiments and create a mutant ant eater army. And once thats all done and dusted...

I dedicate this journal to Steve Irwin, the 'crazy guy who likes snakes', as was my first views of my all time favourite nature guy.

*curtsies at grave stone* On my world tour, if I have one and if possible, I promise to place flowers on the tomb of my fav nature guy ever. *scribbles solemnly on world tour list*

I remember watching him on TV when I was little and really into reptiles, and seeing his show about the ten most deadliest snakes. I've watched it twice in my life, and I remember the bit when he got poison spat in his mouth by a cobra. He was still talking to the camera and (of course) managed to rinse out his mouth and survive. From the moment he got poison in his mouth to near the end of the program I was either saying or thinking 'silly idiot'. I was quite young but now I admire his bravery, I was very relieved he survived that. But that stingray encounter....

I also remember (when I was still into reptiles alot) the release of the Crocodile hunter series. It was the first TV program other than anime that I tried to watch every episode. I remember being so happy at watching it. Even my mum would excuse me from my homework XD we'd all watch it and comment on it afterwards. I miss those days...

Does anyone else remember those shows?

Rest In Peace, Steve Irwin. I'll always cherish the fond memories you gave me, and be grateful for them. I shall never forget you. *bows head*
