That is, not including any actual leather, but just the tools, like in the ultimate toolkit which you have.<br /><br />I made my first masks with nothing but a barebones 'tooling' set (comes with a swivel knife and basic stamps), a modeling spoon, a ballpoint pen (for tracing patterns), printer paper ( for printing patterns), and a heavy duty utility blade.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ In the last dev diary, I wet-formed and dyed the mask.  Now for the finishing touches!<br /><br />To get that nice aged metal look on a leather mask, I use my finger to dab paint onto the surface.  Because my finger is soft and has some give, it makes soft transitions and also when dabbing lightly it only affects the raised surfaces of the masks, which is what you want if you're going for a patina feel.<br /><br />(I did a full tutorial on this effect. I hate that it represents a very old SN that I do not use anymore.  It's outdated and I've outgrown it.  I have been thinking about switching to a new username for over a year now.  ]]></media:text>
