Someone broke the window on the front of our house. Ok, well here's the thing. It's a 6x8 foot window to our front room, which is on the second story of our house right above our garage.And someone through a rock with a 5 inch diameter through it, and chipped the wood support on the wide of the window. Luckily it's safety glass so there isn't so much glass everywhere, though the cat is locked in the back of the house now. Thing is though, I had left my house at 12:15, it was fine. I got back at 12:30, it's broken, and my parents just noticed the window broken.
So yea. WTF people, I leave and everyone gets stupid ~_~

So AX was a bit of a bust, though I did ge a Pullip doll and had fun with Ken and Scott. on Monday after we were back i was feeling a lot of aches and pains I figured were fatigue related, and Tuesday I started getting cold symptoms. I figured, great, my typical "return from LA and I get sick" bullshit. Well, fever on Tuesday and Wednesday that persisted through tylenol and motrin, so went to doc Thursday morning with a 104 fever.
Some people brought home pocky and ramune, some got signatures and photos, and others got dvds from Anime Expo. I got fucking swine flu.
No, I'm not shitting you. Yes, I'm not dying, just feel like utter crap. Since it only appeared after I got home, I shouldn't have given it to anyone else, as I've been quarantined to my room since.
So yea, if you get sick really quickly with any cold-like symptoms, do be kind enough to COVER YOUR FUCKING MOUTH and quit spreading it, before I shove my steel-toed boot six feet up your ass.

Geez, where the hell to begin...
Well, this year's Fanime was much more thought out on my part, with a lot of planning going into it. Let's first start with the dumb things I did....
First I forgot to bring more than $20 in cash with me, contact lens solution, emergency repair supplies, and homework to work on. Made a return trip on Friday afternoon to get Zero's Xbox and said missing items, and in the processes left my Demyx wig at home. So I didn't do any Demyx cosplay this con, sorry guys. Later this year I plan on returning to SJ to do some photos with him though, and I'll be at AX. Continuing on...
I brought a lot of food with me. Several types of cereal and milk, bread, mac n cheese, lots of cookies, and tons of soda. I was planning on having a get-together at con but plans fell through since there never seemed to be time for me to invite everyone over, cause everyone was going to events. What I get for trying to plan and comply with everyone. So msot of the food came right back home with us, but I figure cheeper than going pout to eat. Speaking of which...
On Sunday I decided I wanted to go to Quiznos, and Zero made me think the one I went to before was gone, so I used my GPS unit to walk to the closest one it could find, half a mile from our hotel. So here we were walking through downtown and we get to the location, only to find the place is gone. Nothing fucking there but a Starbucks. Checked the thingie and it says the Starbucks was right next to the Quiznos. Must have been old software ~_~. So I was pissed, I just wanted a fucking sandwich. Zero wandered off and found a place called the Old Spaghetti Factory, so we headed in for a lovely meal. Beautiful building, probably was a church or mission and delicious food, I must say, and I am damn picky about what goes in my mouth.
We headed back after that and Zero wanted to have his street fighter xbox faceplate signed, so we waited 2 hours to get Reuben Langdon's autograph. I was dressed as gijinka-maid Blissey at the time and he was fascinated by my egg for some reason. Not sure what to say about that, other than ok...
Overall I suppose I can say I'm not very satisfied how things went. Trying to find friends and acquaintances is harder than herding cats apparently, barely seeing any one person for more than 10 minutes. I felt like I wasn't wanted, was being ignored, or simply people didn't care either way. I doubt any one of my friends did this intentionally, but it still hurt. Sure, cons are about meeting new people who love the same thing you do, but aren't they also about reuniting with people from the past? Maybe I am putting too much thought into this, but every time this happens I feel like maybe I should just save my money and quit going to cons.

Costuming wise, I'm happy with how Blissey turned out, now with my new spiffy egg. People thought I was a Chansey, but hey, at least it's the same evolutionary family. I was quite happy with how Zoey came out also. I got rather pissed that while Zero was spotted as Bill several times for pictures, I was standing right next to him as Zoey and was ignored ~_~. Stupid fuckers, just because Zoey is less obvious than having a white hairspray and makeup beard doesn't mean I'm not trying just as hard, I even had the fucking Medkit. next time must find prop guns that can be held at cons instead of trying to bring my stripped Airsoft stuff. Cause hell, if they tried peacebonding Zero's resin plastic Vash gun to the holder just because of a obvious bolt hinge when the trigger doesn't even move, my airsoft pistons don't stand a chance. At least I had a Molotov though.

Well, hopefully Anime Expo be a better experience this year, else I'll have to drop my standards from low to none @_@

Well, Spring Break wasn't as fun as I'd hoped, so I've been feeling pretty low (mine was the week before easter, not after). Zero got in trouble at work and for awhile thought that I'd have to cancel Fanime and AX. Well, long story short he's got everything handled now and everything should be fine.
I'll be probably looking for roommates for Anime Expo, however I'm checking with local friends first. To my SoCal group, lemme know if you need a room, cause I do have one. Else, I'll have to find a room for me, Zero and Ken @_@
Next weekend is the San Francisco Sakura Festival, me and Zero will be going as Zoey and Bill of Left 4 Dead fame. PILLS HERE.

I'm saddened, the 14 year old boy next door died on Saturday night. He had a staph infection in his lungs, they thought he was getting better, but the lungs were all abscessed. So, Draco is sick still. Last wednesday noticed 3 things: he lost 4 lbs, could feel his ribs and spine, and he was acting strange. Then went to trim his claws and sat in a puddle of cold cat piss on my bed. So we took him to the vet on Thursday, they run tests and say he doesn't have cancer or an infection, and probably has fatty liver syndrome from not eating and therefore using up his massive fat supply. After bringing him home Sunday, had to give him an away of food to try to eat (only a mouthful of each expensive canned cat food, fresh chicken breast, favorite cat treats tuna), shove appetite stimulants down his throat and force feed him baby food because he's still not eating.
Tuesday Mom wakes me up at 7 telling me to clean his ass, because aparently he had shit himself, and with his longhair, it was EVERYWHERE. So I dragged him in the shower with me, went back upstairs, fell asleep and missed my class (missed another one ~_~), woke up and checked on him again only to find he's yet again shit himself and even better, has kitty litter glued to his paws and tail. Stick his butt in the sink, attempt washing again, dry some more, say fuck it, and leave for Scott's. Mom calls and yells that his butt is dirty again and where is my hairdryer (though where that is I have no fucking clue anymore, might be with my wonderflex) and she cuts a bunch of hair off his ass and tail. Now he looks really retarded, but is still sitting and looking prissy as ever.

TL;DR: my cat is a mess but I love him, the little fucker.

New laptop is on reformat number 5 I believe (Vista is a piece of crap that dies every time there is the tiniest problem FIX IT MICROSOFT), but the hardware is great. Zero got Left 4 Dead but doesn't have a computer that can run it so he's been borrowing mine, then letting me use his account. Yay for killing zombies .

Art wise, I probably won't ever get around to fully reopening my website, and while I still fuck around with pixel art, I usually never finish anything. I'm mostly doing drawings and prop making, and having fun with 3d painting (painting on people is FUN ) So I'll keep on lurking, but ya never know.

Well, Pinecrest wasn't so great... Dad got botulism and was puking for a good 24 hours, and I got sick from my medications. Puking = not fun. Ironically, I've been hungry ever since.
Went to the County Fair, entered some flowers so I'm gonna go back tomorrow and see how I did.
I'll grumble for a bit cause I am 99.99% sure I ain't going to Anime Expo, unless anyone wants to lend me a ride down and has hotel space, which is pretty unlikely, along with my lack of money.
I've applied to work at the county as a Vector Control trainee, so hopefully I'll be dealing with pests in the future, because that will mean money I desperately need.

Been reading Psyren, interesting plot so far, pretty artwork (reminds me of Bleach, actually, only with big doe-eyes and less angst), maybe I'll cosplay Ageha and see if anyone recognizes me.

So back from con, done with finals, and going to Disneyland tomorrow. Woo!

There was SO much Gainax stuff and so much publicity for Gurren Lagann. I ended up not cosplaying Yoko though, there were so many others this year and I wasn't feeling onfident about myself, so alas.

Dad is back from surgery, he's doing alright aside from the fact he's leaking. Gross, but coming from a person who doesn't have a problem changing bandages from a gaping wound on a horse's leg that occasionally spews cups of blood, I sound like a pussy.

Mom's been pissier than normal, and both are wanting to me to do more shit round the house, in this instance fixing stuff in the backyard for next week's birthday party for my grandma. And they wonder why I don't have many friends.

So I have 7 assignments to do, 6 homework past due and my final for Figure and Composition. And I need to work on repairing the sitar and fixing the costume for Fanime. And I have to work on Blissey too, or Candice will probably maim me *shrug*

If anyone wants any baby yellow guppies, let me know, I'm getting a lot of them recently, though I can only do local pickup cause I am not spending money on shipping.


Edit: I just upgraded my old phone to a Motorola Razr. Better than my old 4 year old one I figure. Also? I just had some Corn Pops and there was a white blob at the bottom of the bowl of milk. I probably should be afraid.

So I had a grand ol' time on Sunday at the Cherry Blossom Festival. Anyway, I've decided to work hard on finishing my Demyx cosplay, working on remaking the boots, fixing the wig, fixing the poor sitar which broke in half, and making new beads for the chain and coatpulls.

I would like to take a moment of silence for my pet bird Gretchen the English Budgie. She died at approx 8 years of age the 21st of December, finally succumbing to her respiritory infection that she's had since I recieved her 2 years ago. Rest in peace, my feathered friend. You might not have liked me, but you were one of the best birds I've owned.

Because of loosing Gretchen and my flock going down to 3 birds, I was allowed to get another bird to keep with them. Blanca is a baby albino budgie/parakeet. I'm not sure of her gender, but I'll assume female until she's a few months older or starts leaving the toilet seat up.

In my 10g fishtank I found one baby cory catfish. It was so adorable . I'm not sure if it's still alive though, but the thought that the conditions were right for my 3 cory cats to spawn is awesome.

I went down to ALA last weekend with Allison, had fun being an idiot and got myself a bullwhip for my Lucy costume. Yay!

Went to dinner with Mom, Dad and Kari today, hamburgers and icecream and Knudsen's Ice Creamery. Still weirded out by Dad, who decided to SHAVE OFF his goddamn mustache. This is a major deal, because in my almost 21 years of life he has NEVER removed it.

Pissed at morons at the barn, asshole liars wanting money from me over a mistake. I've been feeding pair of the owner's horses for a few months now because they were so thin their ribs were showing, getting bucket-fulls of his grain and bringing them down to our barn to store in a 20 gal can. Apparently it wasn't his grain, it was a trainer's, and she claimed I "emptied a 32 gal trash can of 3 bags of grain overnight". Supposedly this issue has been sorted out, but I am getting really pissed at people calling me a liar when they said before to my mom and to another boarder they never put names on their stuff, and then say to the owner that there was a sign.

Still feeling emo over con issues. Someone said they would call me and never fucking bothered. Feel left out again, all because of one person. Though on a happier note, I made some new friends, Muze and Maguma

So, I spent the weekend at Yaoi-con in San Mateo. Hotel was too small for my liking for a con of it's size, since the dealers room was tiny and the artist alley was also small. But! I got to visit with mah buddies, and attempt making new friends

As I'm walking around, I overhear someone talking about how they had found some young kittens. So I head over and these 3 people, an older woman and a young couple had a pair of 1-2 week old kittens. They were saying they would have to take them to the shelter, which for a kitten under 8 weeks is a death sentence.
So while trying to figure out what to do, I help feed the babies and get them to potty, and since I knew that they probably could be taken to the East Bay SPCA for bottle-feeder fostering, I volunteered to take them. I get my flu shot, I call Mom and she says she doesn't want them in the house. Fine by me, I figured I'd just take them in the morning when in doubt. I get home, bring the kittens in the garage, and knowing that they are cold, go to heat up some water bottles to put in socks so they have a heat source.
However, Mom wanted me to take them to the EBSPCA immediately, so I am trying to get my computer to boot up and load the internet while heating the bottles. I get to the site, get the phone number and call to tell them I have bottle feeder kittens that I can't keep here but I get a machine. Mom tells me to just go to the EBSPCA, so as I'm grabbing stuff for the kittens, I hear my dad bitching to my Mom "where did her brains go" about my volunteering to care for the little fur balls, if only temporarily.
I start crying as I get the kittens and drive to the SPCA, hoping I'll get there on time. When I get there, I grab the kittens and head to the door and see the "CLOSED" sign and I just started bawling since I didn't know what to do. Apparently Mondays and Tuesdays they are closed anyway. Luckily an employee was leaving and noticed me and asked what was wrong and I explained what happened, so she got the foster coordinator and she got a hold of one of her foster parents who agreed to take them.
Now I just wish my dad wasn’t such a douche bag about my choice of things to care for.

I'm trying to get a job at Costco, and hope they accept my application, since I need the money.

And now for a rant:
Midnight, the 18-year-old horse at the barn I've been riding might be taken over by Rose and her morons. They don't know how to ride, and they arn't willing to learn. I don't want another horse I like screwed up by incompetent riders thinking "oh, he's pretty". He hasn't gotten much attention before Mom and I started taking care of him 2 months ago, and is hyperactive if you let him truely exercise. I don't want him hurting anyone, and I don't want to see himhurt because they can't control him. It's bad enough his previous owners basically dumped him at our barn when they thought he was too old to show, him loosing weight and being ignored. It's not fair to Midnight, and while I can't afford it, I'd hapily adopt him. But Dad wants a boat so another $400 board bill a month would piss him off greatly. I just wish the best for Midnight.

Myself? I'm tired of being a goddamn jack-o-all-trades. I'm average to good on a hell of a lot of subjects, but "decently good" is usually where I hit my ability wall and am unable to go any further. So I'm still an editor mostly, give me a starting point of reference and I work from there, though everytime I give credit? I get assraped for not being the most creative kid on the internetz. But I still have to make hakama, kimono, ninja shoes, bellyshirt, leather bikini and shoe covers. And Ansem's gloves for her.
Trying to find an apartment for Ansem and Xig. Not working. Ansem is freaking out about it. I can't do anything about it.
And I need to round up feral kittens in 2 weeks or so. Tiger the mommy kitty has hidden them somewhere in the creek and while I don't mind capturing the buggers, the ticks and poison oak are a bit detering. And Kari needs to shut the fuck up about having to capture them if she doesn't/can't do anything about it. I'm not the fucking barn fairy. And Mom's friends the sisters Stacia and Tricia need to quit bitching about the barn. They want cheap board, they get cheap board, and the price of that? Not always getting what you want. I swear if I have to use the diahrea exuse again I'm gonna go monkey and fling shit at people's stalls.
And I fucking HATE my stomach. Why does it have to continue to act up all the fucking time, even with the meds? Getting really sick of not being able to eat anything.
School is also.. bleh. Mr Todd is extremely nice in my English class, and Mr Rube is also kind about letting me do backdated homework, but I just feel like I am overwhelmed by school. Don't know how to make friends there, so I don't have anyone to honestly talk to. Bleh.

To the people who are speeding at 80, quit slamming your breaks on when you see the highway patrol on the side of the road. You fuck up traffic for everyone and they're MORE likely to notice you were speeding if you had to use your breaks.
To the people getting on and off the freeway, the speed limit is 65, you should not be getting on the freeway at 40. Also, to people in the slow lane, we understand that it's a slow lane for a reason, however, doing 50 when everyone else is doing 75 is going to get you killed. Unless you are driving a vehicle that has to be driven at a slower speed, get off the freeway. If you can't drive faster than that, you don't need that licence anymore.
And to the last group of idiots: the ones that drive on Crow Canyon at 55. KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF. I'm tired of seeing the cats you assholes dump as roadkill since you can't seem to read the 40mph speed limit signs.
