I'm commuting so unlike the resident students I don't know anyone really. On Saturday, I didn't bother trying to make friends. I wasn't going to waste my time trying to make them when I might not ever see them. So I'm going to wait until classes start to get to know people. I think that makes more sense in my situation. This week is a continuation of orientation except it isn't mandatory but highly recommended that I go. However since I have a job I have to go there. But I'm going to try and make to one of the events.

I'm kind of excited and nervous about this new experience. I know I will have a lot of work but I'm not worried about that because I know I can handle it.

But I know I won't see any of the people ,I got to know over the years, everyday. I won't see them. I still have the feeling I'll go to school and see them. But that isn't the reality of my situation. The only people I'll see are my friends whose numbers I have. Since I refuse to get a facebook everyone else I will lose touch with. I'm fine with that.

Anyway I got exempt from all of my finals except religion. And that doesn't count in my book. If you're wondering why I have a religion exam that's because I went to a Catholic School.

Yeah, well I'm looking forward to next year just because it's something new. I'm not looking forward to the work I'll have to do.

WARNING: Long overview of my week in Disney World.

We went to Epcot on the first day. I was sooo tired that night. I got up at 4 am and went to bed at 11:30 pm. A long day that was. Keep in mind that we had to go through an airport.

Next day was Universal Studios. It was my first time there. It was really cool. It was two parks: Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. I was adventurous and went on roller coasters I normally wouldn't go on. So that made my day. That night I ate at the Hard Rock cafe! Which was really interesting.

Wednesday we went to Blizzard beach which is a water park. I broke away from my usually group to hang out with other people which was fun and a good change. I went on slides. But I lost my glasses on one and after someone got them for me I was done with slides. Then my little group of three went to the lazy river. I had the most fun there than what most people have. We made a little train and I was pulling the two of my friends along. That night we went to Downtown Disney. We had dinner at Planet Hollywood. It wasn't all that great. But I got some shopping done.

Thursday was Magic Kingdom! The best of the parks and most crowded. my friend Stephanie got sick once we got in the park. So I waited with her until a teacher came to take her back to the hotel. It was first time to Disney and she was looking forward to Magic Kingdom. I had a good time anyway. But people ,especially my friend Rich, was getting on my nerves. Being with my class for a week day in and day out definitely got on my nerves.

Friday was MGM or now called Disney Hollywood Studios. We could only stay until 3 in the afternoon before our flight. It was fun but I was tired and had enough of everyone. So I have a feeling I was kind of a bitch to people but that is fine with me. I went on Aerosmith's Rocking Roller coaster. Awesome! I had to take my glasses off so I wouldn't lose them. Then there was the airport. Oh what a fun adventure that was. I slept and read a magazine. I was dead tired and done with it all.

I'm glad to be home though. That's why I'm not going far from home for college.

I've noticed that whenever I post a lot of things at once, like I just did. The number of submissions may vary from 3 to 8. but I always seem to get a bunch of s and comments. it makes me feel happy. I may not have many pageviews but at least I know that people enjoy my work. That is more important than having pageviews.

Some people may have many pageviews but people may not actually look at their work. I used to be worried about stupid things like that. Not anymore.

But the surprising thing was I got accepted less than 12 hours later! I got accepted to Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. Most acceptance letters aren't given until weeks later, I got mine hours later! It was an e-mail but an acceptance letter just the same!

All i have to do is wait for my other interview with University of the Arts in January.

Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile but ,as always this time of year, school is stopping me. Maybe I should post some of my art I'm doing for school. At least it would be something, so it doesn't seem as though I'm not interested in keep everyone posted with what I'm doing.

What I'm doing for school is working on my portfolio and concentration. For those who may not yet know what that is, it's a series of artworks with a specific theme and connection throughout the series. I'll post the ones I have done so you can have a better idea.

Okay, well that's all I have for now. So I'll go and take pictures of the artworks I mentioned earlier. They'll be up by Sunday at the latest.

Sometimes I feel as if the art world expects you to be the best realistic artist ever. Like thats all you're allowed to do. No cartoons, personal twists, but what you see exactly as it is. I gets rather annoying.

I know someone is going to leave me a comment saying that you don't have to listen to them. But the thing is if your in an art class and your project is to draw something realistically and from life then you have to. Or you can risk getting an F. And an F is not what I want. .......Yeah.......Just felt as if I needed to say that.

Anyway,school has cooled down a bit since I last wrote a journal. But AP Art (advanced placement art) is annoying. I don't really get a chance to draw what I would like. I don't have a problem with due dates but what we have to draw. EGGS! Who wants to draw eggs? ME! (sarcasm) Dude...I don't like eggs.. But whatever I had extra time for drawing what I want. Oh yeah we have sketchbook project too. 25 pages have to be filled with drawings, studies, and perspective by the end of each quarter. Yippy!

But whatever. I'm so awesome I'll manage ,right? Of course I will.

Today it started to snow a bit. The first REAL snow fall the rest were just flurries that lasted an half an hour or less.
