Wow that ^ s lame...XD

I really am bored though, and I decided a new journal would be fun tymes ;D

I Finally got my pay from Stampede on Saturday, so I went and bought a shiney new mp3 playa'

It's a Sansa view ([link])-SanDisk_Sansa_View_MP3_Players.aspx) And man is it beautiful. I bought the 8 GB version, and it has an SD slot, so I can add up to 4 GB of extra memory (yey ^.^)
It's got the prettiest LCD screen, and it's a nice large screen too, which makes me very happy inside. The guy at the store sold me a case for it for cheap too, so now it's all protected from the harsh outdoor conditions! : O
I still have yet to decide if it's a boy or girl, and if so what it's name should be ^--^

Yesterday I saw Wall-E with my mothra, and jeebus was it great!! frick, it was so amazing. And so absolutely adorably CUTE! *squee*

I also bought some manga and books yesterday!!
I bought Kujibiki Unbalance Volume One (I didn't think they had made a manga, but THEY DID. And it is SO CUTE ^.^) [link]

I also bought Utopias Avenger Volume Three, which has been out for awhile, but I'm still excited to get it.

AND I got William Shatners new autobiography!! *EEK*
It's so amazing, a wonderful hardcover with his picature on front. It was also 30% off (yey) I quite adore it.

Which is definitely yaoi (my first purchase of yaoi, but not my first read ^.^) and definitely looks REALLY awesome!! hehe. I found a preview ad of it in one of my friends manga; Sensual Phrase I believe it was. And it looked so wonderful, so I checked the Chapters computahs and they had it!! I was so surprised, and then I pre-ordered. heehee. So I cannot wait to get it ^.^

wow, so thats my list of stuffs I've bought recently.
I was going to buy Trinity blood volume 7 and 8, but they didn't seem to have 7 in their computers (which were agonizingly slow) and 8 doesn't even have cover art available, so it will probably be a couple of months before it's available. I also wanted to order the novels, but if I ordered all the ones they had on the computer it would probably have cost me A TON of moneys, and even though I have the money, I don't want to be spending all of it right away XD.

hmmm...well that's alot of writing. But I really have nothing else to say.

I drew a picture last night for a friend, so I might be scanning it soon and posting...hehe

and uhm...omg downloaded lots sweet new tunes, stuff that I had deleted before by accident or because I needed memory, and some new trance and goa. ^.^

anyways...so I have not updated...in...woah...a long time..*shrugs*

so I haven't really posted any traditional works lately, I've kinda been lazy, so I haven't drawn much and what I've drawn I'm just too lazy to scan.

I have been slowly posting some pictures though, as should be painfully obvious.

I gots some new headphones...my old earphones broke (left one blew AGAIN *exasperated sigh*) so I went and got some new ones. and *gasp* Skullcandy was amazingly ON SALE...so I bought some $50 headphones of only 33 bucks... and it cost that much cuz I bought a warranty...so if they gets destroyzorzed in an accident I can get another pair for free! ^.^
They're pretty much amazing...the sound is great...

And conveniently enough they match the colour scheme of my mp3..o.0
which is awesome

I got a job at the Stampede...so that should be lots of work, but good pay. I got my cowboy hat and red shirt (oH NO im A REDSHIRT!!! *panics*)

my hat is pretty gangst, but sometime this week I hafta go get some 'black jeans' and I want to find cowboy boots, because I love cowboy boots and just want an excuse to wear them XD

I'm being an usher, and I'm working North Main, so that's pretty cool cuz there's only one flight of stairs to get to work every day, but I'll be walking around ALL the time.

We get like..2 hour dinner breaks...plus our 15-20 minute breaks here n' there
so it's pretty cool
And free admission and discounted stampede food...lol

And I'll actually get to go this year...cuz last year I couldn't...so that is also...pretty dope.

I'm mildly excited.

It is also now summer...which means no school...I'm already sleeping in late...but I'm also getting antsy from not going anywhere XD...I should get out...

Otafest is tommorow! I am so excited! I'm hoping to be able to go all three days! And I'm also hoping to be able to have a pwnage outfit to wear! ^.^


I finished the main body of the stuffy I was making in fashion studies!! So I brought it home this weekend to show some friends...when I take it back on Tuesday (uber long weekend YES ^.^) I will make his clothing and necklace (I found bells in the class!!) I'm so proud of myself...even though he looks slightly scary+demented XD....but still!! I made him out of some old jeans...and this is another sewing project that cost me nothing because all the other materials I got from my teacher!! ^A^ He's so soft and...plushy ^.^

No school for four days!! heh...i'm so excited...I'm totally sleeping in tomorrow morning...


In English we are doing a project on act 4 scene 1 of "The Merchant of Venice" and it was so funny because my friends and I were planning this huge puppet show...but didn't work on it for like..the whole week...and then today we finished it <.<...we modified a song (Behind Blue Eyes - The Who) to fit in with the scene...and it was great cuz we barely had to change anything...but it also sucks cuz I have to sing in front of the class...T.T


I'm very happy because It's now finally nice summer weather...only problem is it's very hot and I keep dying on the bus/c-train...TAT
I'm so excited for summer...because no school...but also not...because some stuffs shall be going down that shall be depressing...<.<
But school is almost over! which is cool...!...I got a report card today...English was my highest mark at 85...I believe...and then my lowest was 60 I think..in like Math or something...
I like English...we haven't even really done much
My teacher is amazing

I handed in my 'mixed media' assignment..and I'm not incredibly impressed with myself...but it doesn't suck magnificently either...*sighs*

We have started our next project..and I am extremely excited for this one because I'm already going to be able to start actually working on it (instead of drawing the base lines) in only 3 classes instead of the usual 5 or 6...<.<
My idea seems to be working so far..and I am quite excited ^.^

I also got my mp3 player back, which is awesomely awesome..so I am syncing my baybeh right now and 'tis quite amazingly awesome...
my music sounds much bettah on the mp3 headphones than on the old ones too..o.0
yay

I downloaded the coolest visualizations for Windows Media Player...they make meh happeh inside...
they use wireframe graphics and respond quite well to the music...theres also alot of different wave patterns, colour schemes, and backgrounds...which is awesome...and I only have the free version...the un-free (yes I speak english XD) version has WAY more...it's insane...

So I submitted a painting to the 'Art for Arts Sake' contest..my first oil painting actually..and I'm crossin' my fingahs...

I looked at a few of the entries though..and wo. there are some really great ones..so...

I was kninda disappointed though, because there were alot of things in the category that seemed to break the rules..and it made meh sad..but what can you do right??


My school is having a 'Gala of The Arts' and I am excited because one of my works is going to be up!!
hehe
And the art department is paying for me..so i dun hafta pay..
I think it'll be fun..the culinary arts are making food..and apparently drama, dance, band and choir will be performing too..YAY

I'm quite proud of my current art project..especially considering I had to restart because i spilled india ink over the whole first version..but I wasn't very far done so that's okay. I really like how this one is going so far.

I'm also drawing a comic book for english that is an adaptation of Book 5 of The Odyssey...and I'm really enjoying it...I have to work alot on it because we ran out of time..but the teacher gave us an extension because we are doing a whole chapter instead of just a scene like everyone else.
I'm really proud of myself..like actually..and when it's done and marked I'm going to scan it..
My partner adapted the text and helped designe the characters..and lots of the jokes and style of the characters is due to her ideas ^.^
She's colouring the title page too..it's gonna be great..
We had a test today in english..and i got 4.5 out of 11...hehe..*sweat*
I totally forgot to read the book...hehe

oh well...

Also, Monday night I slept over at one of my really good friends' house!! It was so awesome. I hadn't seen her in quite awhile and we were so excited to have this sleep over. We hung out all day yesterday (or what was left of yesterday, since we slept in until 2 in the afternoon 0.o). It was really ubergreat, we had so much fun!! ^.^

It's spring break now, and I'm really excited cuz it means no school!! And sleeping in!! (Well at least sleeping in when I don't have plans XD)

I haven't really done much new artwork lately, although I am planning on some, and I started an oil painting about a week ago. But the stupid thing won't dry...XD..I'm getting anxious because I need to finish in time for the contest that I want to enter it in..*cries*
Stupid oil paint...XD...I really like oils actually...but they take so long to dry *whines*...and being dumb I went and painted it on paper...which you don't generally do for oils..but whatever XD
maybeh that's why it's taking so long to dry??

I think I can probably finish it though, because I have to paint some more onto it...and I think If i'm careful it should be good ;D

I have a ton of large pictures that I really want to put up here, but we still haven't gotten our digital camera back. <.< We had to send it back to the company because there was a hard drive malfunction and the dumb thing wouldn't turn on. So we sent it..and it was supposed to come like..a week ago (or something XD) and they keep telling my mom that they 'never got it' although the UPS company that delivered it to them has it in the records and everything ..

'tis frustrating...XDXD

On a lighter note, I cut my hair...I gave myself bangs and did a cool thingymaboob to the front...and cut about an inch off the bottom to rid myself of t3h evil split ends..XD
I think it looks really good..especially since I did it myself...XD
The bangs had to be fixed a bit randomly here and there..because part of my hair decided to be poofy and make them all crooked EVEN THOUGH they were actually perfectly straight..so now they are really crooked but look pretty straight heeh 0.0

I wanted to do some layering around the back, but I'm going to get a friend to help me with that if I get around to it, because I don't want to mess it up OAO

So you have probably noticed that my profile says I am and art student but I haven't put up any recent works? Cuz I know I have, and it's frustrated me...but I am an art student, I just don't have a digital camera (for picz of larger pieces) or a scanner (for smaller stuffs) so therefore I can't get any of them on here...

It is frustrating me cuz I have a few random pages...a whole scrapbook...and my assignments.

I'm hoping that I will at elast be able to take some pictures or get some scanned soon, because I really want to upload more.

now, for random info.

School is BORING, as per usual...but whatever, I've got muh friends ^.^

I just finished my clay piece in Art...and I believe that it sucks alot.

We had to do a container, and have a creature of some sort interacting with it. I chose to do Gojira knocking over a building (which would be the container) but unfortunately my art teacher DID NOT give us enough time (he has this annoying habit of doing that <.< and I couldn't finish the Gojira part because it was being LAME, so I decided to do Mothra instead because I had a general memory of what Mothra looked like and it was easier, but the stupid thing still didn't turn out very well, will probably fall off in the kiln if it hasn't already (they are drying to leather hard/leather hard right now), AND I was looking at a picture of Mothra (the Gojira Vs. Mothra movie cover in a picture in one of my Anime Insiders) and It turns out my Mothra is WAY innacurate/bad

so yeah...my clay SUCKS

I was afraid to check it today in class...maybe I'll go look tommorow.

We are now started on doing an acrylic painting on cardboard (at least that's what i think it is...its like....thin cardboardy-paper-type-stuff XD) and I'm pretty excited....its a landscape and I got a pretty interesting picture to go by (we have to go by pictures) from a National Geographic Magazine (We were supposed to find them on our own but I only have Fashion, Anime Insider, and Wired magazines; none of which really have any good realistic landscape pictures. So my teach like gave me a dirty look, but whatever..I got to pretend to look for picz while actually playing video games in class hehe ^.*). I think I'll have fun doing this one...I haven't really done a landscape in awhile, and the last painting I did was a portrait, so we will see how I do ;D.

That was a long paragraph, no doubt with many run-on sentences. XD

So yeah, I can't really think of anything else to say really...ooh MSN window YAY

Cuz seriously guys, shortening some words and using 'omg' 'wtf't etc. is okay, and smiley are awesome (#.*) but when you basically destroy everything we know of the english language it just gets annoying, at least when you type in 1337, everything is spelt the same, and the letters are just replaced by numbers or symbols that look like them.

jeez.

So theres my random Journal, hope you (whoever is reading this, which is probably NO-ONE) enjoyed my rant-ness/random-ness.
