Anyway.. ive spent a week without a room mate.. its nice in one aspect but for the whole of last weekend i was a bit down and depressed and felt so down and ill that i couldnt move, didnt see anyone for much of the weekend.. monday was my birthday .. was better that day.. . Tuesday i went out to an asian resturant with my dinner mates.. went clubbing and ended up very drunk which i wont attempt again as i upset someone and myself

(sorry)
.. wednesday again by myself until the evening when i went to view a house ... today.. lectures and had a brief chat with my friend rebecca...about some of my issues with.. religon and work...
tomorrow im not looking forward to... its going to be so dull.. ill be tired because im up this late and life drawing lessons that are 5 hours long is intense.. and then i have to sign the contract for my house.. then ill be alone all weekend again presumably..
sigh.. yey... not.

so yeah 4 am in the morning... wide awake and so bored.. thats why people like me post journals. Moaning is an activity that makes your brain work.

The time has come to start looking into a house to move into! We need to hurry before they all go..
me and my friends viewed a house today and well its gorgeous, 6 rooms with double beds! The top bedroom i have my eye on, its a loft conversion, its spacious and looks perfect for a studio sort of enviroment! wooo! In general.. the house is very spacious, kitchen , lounge, 2 downstairs bedrooms, a cellar,shower room and garden, upstairs are 4 more bedrooms and a bathroom and a private study for the person with the smallest room..
it all looks pretty swish..
i have opted for a 100% yes.. meeting up tomorrow for final decsion !

Oh and yes.. im entering a competition for my favourite digital arts magazine over the christmas holidays, end deadline is for January the tenth..
the main prize is the front page and a feature within the magazine along with some of the best digital artists around..
plus 950 quids worth of digital drawing gadgets (i take it... graphic talblets etc )
so yeah going to do intital ideas then do some mock ups follow a few through...

sigh.. i have lots of work to do at the moment.. i need to finish of bits ididnt complete this semester and then i need to do comparitive analysis of a chosen artist or object etc and choose from different sources writting 250 words for each source..
my chosen artist is hogarth..
anyone have any usefull journal links?
and lol... will be of course going to the library to empty their shelves!

<3 currently i am reading a series of books about da vinci , rubens, michealangelo and raphel..
will be buying the rest of them once i have a bit more dough..

anyway, my normal non working life is all gravy..
went to see new moon as well as about half the girl population, was very good!
and yeah im 19 next monday! so ahh! lol... last year of having a teen on the end of my name!
anyways. .
ill be off.. and i will do some work so as to improve my digital art skills even higher ^^

life as an illustration student at loughborough is definatley very hard and challenging,
there are only two students that got on the course streight from national diploma in art, the rest did foundation courses as well as a national diploma thus i feel very privillaged and lucky to be here on this course.
the course is demanding.. we are expected to produce sketch books and final pieces to a level standard withing 1-2 weeks at the minimum.
Mondays have been 9-3 at the local great railway station for location drawing, followed by a crit with an illustrator who comes in for us.
tues days are critique days and design brief settings..
wednesday is our day off...
thursay is contectual influences within art we have an i.t lecture in the morning.. concerning aspects of video, animation , internet building with software..
then after that we have a lecture at one followed by a seminar at 4
friday is 6-7 hours of life drawing.
one week we went to oxford university for a trip to sketch ^^ will be going to new york next year

!!!!

social life is brilliant.. our class is bonding really well.. been to pizza hut with them today. made some great friends..and i am glad to be here in loughborough.. im also being allowed to continue a friendship with someone i met online here at DA.. the pysical friendship is more than i could ever ask for.. and for that i know i definatley know loughborough was the right place to choose. im truly happy here!

the next day we went all shopping to sainsburys.. and then we all had a meal together and the boys cooked haha! ..
today I met up with a great friend, kingman who lives not far from the uni. was so good to see him after all this time since my interview for the course. I hope to see him more while im here seems as he isnt too far away now.
i finally feel like im at home, and where i really want to be..
i cant believe i made it here..

Like... maybe a subscription to deviantart say! and hmm maybe a twilight/new moon poster to make me feel more at home in my dorm!
I will also start to enter projects to the Imagine FX.. and see if i can with any luck win!
I will also be doing a portrait of Robert Pattinson as commisioned..
I will perhaps get time after that to start reading eclipse..
OH YEAH there is also a freshers ball!! ahhh nervous!!

So far my work on here has been a little slow, but I have posted up my final major project final pieces up, which are editorials I did immitating an imagine fx magazine..
took me ages to do!
