I bought a Nintendo DS as you may know. Played FFXII Revenant Wings (that's 97% complete) and then I found FFIII and IV for DSr reeaaally cheap fro a web shop. But...they didn't have them in the stock after all. Nooo. So...they suggested that I could take FFVI instead. For GameBoy Advance (that works on DS too). I bought that. Then things happened....and I found myself a happy owner of Final Fantasies I, II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X and XII. Plus Revenant Wings. Dammit.

Only 3, 4 and 6 are new though. I will get V someday, too. And of course I will get XIII once it comes (that might be...in March already?! Hallelujah!) As for XI and XIV, they're online games so I probably...won't get them. Think so. Hope so.

But anyway, I feel like I've...been upgraded as a fan of the series....? Beyond PlayStation, right? In any case, I'm pretty happy now.

The weirdest thing: I haven't even touched III or IV. ( is amazed) I'm so involved in VI it'd be hard for me to start another...I shall pay my attention to them, too, dearly when the time comes. Yes.

Still can't write anything coherent about the event, it seems.

We had good places again (with only 8 hours of queuing before the opening of the front gates) and the concert was the best thing ever. Since it was the last one of the tour there were extras. Like Meadows of Heaven (never performed live before this) Walking in the Air (this was a surprise for me) and they played both Poet and the Pendulum AND Ghost Love Score. Two superepiclong ones

There were special guests, too. The violinist and the ...ho-hum... piper? The Troy person


Anyhooters. So glad to see the band again. But now it's going to be a long time to wait till the next concert. Sigh. All the way until 2011.

Hmm the next album. What's it going to be like?

For your information, I was "Emma" from the series "Emma" :'D The original idea was that and would have worn noblewoman dresses and I would've been their maid. But they didn't have time to do those so I was a maid hanging around with a schoolgirl (from VampireKnight) and a random (but really cool!) white mage.

It was fun though. It was the first time people actually wanted to take pictures of me (that was...weird.) There were so many great cosplays... I forgot my camera home (what a moron) but tok pics for me ^^ She'll send them to me later. I can't wait!

Cons are always a swearword for my wallet. I spent some 80 euros. My my. But I left the con very very happy. Three of the books were in Japanese. Yay I love Ribon manga since they use furigana (ronounciation for the Chinese kanji characters used in Japanese) all the time! Reading is so easy since you only need a regular dictionary and not an additional kanji dictionary! (Though I just recently bought an expensive but really great one for myself...I love to look up kanji now!)

What else? The lectures, panels and other stuff wern't as interesting as they've been before...so I spent the 2 (or more like 1 and a half) days just hanging around Though I watched the cosplay contest from the upper floor (she also had small binoculars! We saw all the details, too!)

PS: I took my apron and headpiece off whenever I used the underground. To fit in better. But...in my black shirt (with white neck and sleeves), long black skirt and black boots...I looked like a priest. Sigh.

KOKIA's ~infinity~ European tour 2009 June 12th @ La Cigale

First I must apologize that this is so long...please bear with me. I had many adventurous moments and got a little carried away.

I travelled with my mom so of course I couldn't even dream to go queue early. The gates (or well doors since the place was small) opened at 19 ( = 19:18) and we were there around 18:25. There were some people (a 50m queue in the street) but we still managed to get good seats. About 5th row or so.

Before the concert started I left my seat a couple of times to consume money. They don't sell KOKIA's cds in Finland and the prices at some online shops are terrible... The poor lady at the small counter was having a hard time as I came clutching some paper money in my hand "How much will it cost if I take this and this and...this too and..." I didn't even try to risk it and speak French there (at restaurants and such I did quite well in their language though)

I left the counter with 5 cds, a bag, a t-shirt and some badges.

The concert itself...was great. I've watched KOKIA's live stuff in the net before but of course it was much greater when I was actually there. The first song was Hanautage. Just like in Tokyo and Osaka. It never was my favourite but the way it was performed was really something. Looking back, some parts of the set list were similar to the Japan ones, like Hana, Usaghi and Douke. I was really happy that Usaghi was there since I like it

Some song choices were interesting, like Senka no hana. That's a piano+vocal song about a flower on a battlefield. I personally love it.

I was also happy that she sang Il mare dei suoni, a song in Italian. Opera style! Shivers running down my spine...it was so..grand

Then there were some of the KOKIA "classics". Arigatou, Chouwa, Utau hito... The two latter ones my super favourites. After Chouwa everyone just stood up clapping their hands and wouldn't stop... It was interesting that Chouwa had yellowish lights. I think it's a very "blue" song. But since the song before that (Il mare dei suoni) had been blue, of course there couldn't be two in a row so...

Oh yeah. The spoken stuff. (umm "välispiikit" in Finnish...well the artist talks about the songs and such...you know what I mean?) They were in both Japanese and English. But not word to word though. I was surprised at being able to understand all of the Japanese too Weird.

Before the last song there was a little extra. I believe it's referred to as "A short song - A message from KOKIA" in the Tokyo set list. It was a very short one, in English, kind of a thank you song I wonder if it's just something out of the blue or if it's going to be something more in the future.

The last song was INFINITY (the non-acoustic version) about in the middle everyone stood up again didn't sit at all anymore! My hands were getting sore from clapping.... KOKIA had mentioned it was the last song but people were calling for an encore. In the end KOKIA (having had a minute or two to change to more relaxed clothes) had to come on the stage again and say that the time was up (probably the staff wanted to go home already )

My troubles weren't over yet, though since I'd written KOKIA a letter. My original plan was to leave it onstage but when I was going to do that someone in the front row told me that it would be surer to give it to her manager. So I went to the person she had pointed and explained things with a little shaky voice. She took the envelope and assured me that she'd forward it. Later I recognized the woman I gave the letter to from a picture in front of La Cigale, next to KOKIA. So I guess she really was the manager lady (I’ve met a live-Ms.-Sasaki! o_O)

…Now I wish I could rewrite the whole thing since I read a grammar book and noticed some stupid mistakes in my Japanese. Dammit.

Can't say I've been busy...at least all the time. Lastg 2 weeks or so I've been on the net almost every day...several hours (not telling how much!) A lot of things have happened though.

1) I was to Paris.
2) I visited 's summer cottage.
3) I'm now working on my cosplay for animecon '09 (next weekend!)
4) I've been making 1000 origami paper cranes (if you don't know why anyone would do that kind of thing, see here --> [link] ) Actually I make 500 and makes the rest.
5) I've also done my best to play FFVII. Watching Crisis core cutscenes made me want to beat the original game quickly

Well I haven't been utterly idle. Summer holiday is now about halfway... ( is going to hit me for this...)

So well. Since I've been offline for ages and gained many experiences I'm going to do something I usually don't do. Write multiple journals. In one day I mean. About the aforementioned topics. So this is kind of an intro (it is?)

Almost all streets are free of snow and um what-do-you-call-them-in-english, those tiny stones they throw on the streets so they're not so slippery...? Well anyway, it's terrible to walk on roads with those stones when there's no snow because it ruins your shoes.

And it's so sunny <3 though not too warm, it's -2 degrees now, shucks...but it's a big difference if you compare to, say, 3 weeks ago or so

To those people living in countries south from Finland this kind of talk is probably pretty pointless...but the winter is so long and dark and sometimes even depressing so it's so nice to think about the spring and summer... Places look so different in the winter.

There are many fun things happening right now... Everything's so exciting though I can't really tell why... Strange.

Í've spent several hours on the computer now so I guess I'll go eat something and read the newest Aku Ankka magazine ^^ (Meaning "Donald Duck", really, really popular in Finland, you know : D)

The album isn't even released yet. (actually 2 albums at the same time...it was explained in the blog, too) It will be out March 18th. I'll be looking forward to that too. Yay

So humm. I read that though Final Fantasy XIII will be released in Japan this year, it won't get around here until at least April 2010 or so.

Well that's understandable. They'll have to translate and dub it and do all the difficult license stuff and that crap. But...mid 2010 is so far off! I'm afraid that I'll grow up and be too old by then! I don't want to lose the magic of rpg... :'D

I remember the time when I played FFX and Kingdom Hearts (the first one, note that!) for the first time...as an 11-year-old kid. I was sooo impressed. And such a novice! Seriously. Places like Mi'ihen Highroad and Mushroom rock road were an agony...In a replay, it took some 5 minutes for each We ( and me) got stuck all the time :'D kinda pitiful.

...I listened to "1000 words" (the English one, I usually listen to the Japanese version nowadays) last weekend and was somehow really moved. Not really because of the song itself but all those memories...it used to be my favourite song once. I could watch the song scene 11 times in a row back then how maniac is that Singing was half the fun though.

I've aleady lost some of the feeling I used to have about gaming...It's different now. But I still find rpg closer to movies of books than actual games...like a 50-hour movie with optional extra scenes!!! So great hahaha

So please hurry up Square Enix! Please make a good game (or two why not...since there's Versus ) that I can enjoy.

I'll be going to watch the fireworks at 0:00 with Ccentury Realshinju can't come because she's out of town Oh well.

Because I've been busy doing nothing I didn't even write a Christmas or birthday journal! Terrifying.

Gosh me is 16. My mom's already threaening me by saying things like "It's when a girl is prettiest". Noooo don't tell me this is the best I'm ever going to get :'D

Ccentury congratulated (difficult word you know) me in her journal yay ^^ It was fun.

I didn't get a lot of Christmas presents but I did get MONEY. Which is good. It's been a bit weird anyway now that My cousin's family wasn't at Grandma's when it was Christmas. They were with their other grandparents who just got back from Spain. They half-live there. And there was no birthday party for me because everyone's got the same kind of cold I already suffered before the holidays (lasted for a week dammit. I hated it.) And for the same reason we didn't visit anyone today either. So...all traditions kind of...gone. Weird o_o

Oh my school starts on Monday :'D I bought the books already though. Good is me yesh ^^

Oh but I'm miserable. I just counted...40 deviations in 2007 and 6 in 2008. I despise myself. Woe is me after all.

I can't even use my scanner now. We've lost the cd to install it to the new computer and the damn thing doesn't work without. So blah.

This is a bad time to get sick. I would've had a math test this morning... I even did all 150 exercises...(you get a better grade if you do 150 or 210 ones...) I spent 7 hours yesterday doing the last 30. Math is difficult. But now that I didn't take the exam after all I'll have time to do some more. Maybe I'll get those 210! Haha I wish.

This journal really makes absolutely no sense.

Something positive happened too though. One day I accidentally deleted myself from an English course in the next period...And couldn't get back because there were already the max amount of students. But today it worked and I got there after all. (today was the last day to sign up) So happy ending.

I never had high expectations regarding FFIX....But I have heard that it's the most underestimated game in the series. I agree. I love the characters! Zidane on hävytön. Yes he is. Such a shameless person. Garnet is...princessy. (I thnk realshinju's mad at me for keeping the initial name...she seems to hate the name "Dagger" I don't like it either though.) Waaa I love Vivi! Freya too! For different reasons though. And Quina, well....Hahaha forks Even Steiner's great, worrying over Garnet that much. I love the sound his armour makes when he gets angry and starts jumping! I haven't met the other main characters yet....I'm on the 2nd disc now. Of 4.

Whew. Sorry, that was probably really boring if you don't know FF.......I apologize.

Weeelll. The reason I haven't had as much time to play as I'd want to is called high school. Well that really is something else. The school hours are not that long. Shorter than in 7th grade. But...they're much more tiring! I sleep a lot more than before (however I managed to stay awake having slept 6-7 hours in 8th grade?! I sleep 8 or 9 hours now and just keep slouching in the class.....) but I'm tired. And of course there are more homeworks. Homeworks I should be doing now.

Otherwise I'm fine The good thing about being busy is that I've got some inspiration again! Let's hope I'll get something done soon.

Is it vappu already? Well tomorrow but anyway. I think it's close to the "Labor day" (at least it originally has been) I don't know about the other countries but at least in Finland it's common to dress weird and act crazy

I thought of playing Sims after I'd checked on dA but I only have 15 minutes now...I'll go to my grandma's place and then go to art school. There I'm going to eat chocolate and talking about strange things with and That's my evening ^^

We (I, and ) came to the Paviljonki 14:45 (I skipped P.E. ) and there was a queue of about 15 meters or so. The first people had come around six in the morning. Our friends came a little later. It was fun to watch the queue grow longer behind us. We warmed ourselves (though there was just 2-3 minus degrees celcius...) jumping and running around the queue and eating chocolate. Then, finally, a little past six, we got in!!

We had planned not to leave our coats to the rack so we'd get faster to the hall but unfortunately we had to. So after some trouble with coins we dashed to the hall and got to the third line! It was great!

Some more waiting. At 19.45 Indica, the supprt band started playing. They were nice, though I've never been their fan or anything. They have good songs and a personal style

Finally, finally! I don't remember the time, but Nightwish started playing! (by that time, I was in the second line. I don't know how that happened, I didn't even try! I think people it was because were pushing forward all the time.) It was great! They played Bye Bye Beautiful, then something I don't remember (I was in ecstasy) and Dark Chest of Wonders and I was taking photos all the time. Most of them were horrible, but there is a few good ones

After the third song some guy came to say something to Tuomas and the band left the stage. We were like, "the end, haha?" but then some security person took the mic and said they'd received a notice that the place might be on fire and the people should exit immediately. Everyone just looked. Then people started shout swearwords and things like "Are we going to get back here?!" and "Is it going to go on?!" That was the thing in my mind, too. I mean, the whole tour was sold out already and if it would be over now... I realised only outside some 10 minutes later I was crying. I was so frustrated!

After some running around we went back to the rack and took our things. We had lost 2 of us somewhere in the crowd (I didn't have their cellphone numbers) and CCentury had gone ahead of us. So Realshinju and Lore-Of-Logan were with me. Then we heard that the concert was going to go on. We ran again, as fast as we could, and found ourselves somewhere 20 meters away from the stage. I couldn't see anything (being so short, how unlucky of me ) If I jumped, I could see a glimpse of Anette's head. So, we spent the rest of the concert there. When the next song, Everdream started, I thought "Well, it's not the bands fault, and I've been waiting for this for so long, so I'm not going to let it bother me!"

In the end, the concert was 10+++++ worth. Unbelieveable. Though I heard that the front line was all some drunk idiots who weren't interested in the band at all. And those people who'd come 6 in the morning were somewhere in the back of the hall. The only thing that really annoys me is that if I had been there, in the second line, in the end of the concert, I would have had the chance to shake Nightwish members's hands. They really did that in the front. That's all.

Oh, almost forgot. The fire had started from a nearby building site. Some tarpaulin had flown on a spotlight or something. So it wasn't because or the fire effects in the concert.

I had wonderful time, no matter how much trouble occurred. Thank you everyone Can't wait for the next time!

8 more days until the school play presentation. If someone knows Laura Honkasalo's book Siskoni, enkelinluinen tyttö? My role is Katja, the depressed, anorectic girl. (it's really deeper than it sounds!) It's really an interesting role, and the second biggest role in the whole play! I'm excited! But we haven't even gone it through even once and just 4 hours to practice! I'm nervous!

Making JI eats all my spare time, so I haven't had time to make deviations. Sorry

My computer's music program is working again!!! So happy ^^ So now I'm borrowing all the cds from my friends I don't still have ^^ thank you all so very much ^^ And I got new stereos I love them. My old cd player was just good (it served me with loyalty for 7 years) but the new one can play mp3 songs. Yay!

I have a computer of my own there of course, it's the oldest one in the whole place but anyway. It's in a peaceful place in a shady corner...Good place, yes

I'm in the middle of math class...but because our teacher is blabbing at the people who intend to attend the math competition ( is on that, too, so let's cheer for her ) we are in the computer room and we can do whatever we want. I have nothing better to do so I'll make a journal I've been having to do it anyway.

First thing first: it's SNOWING!!! So great! I've been looking other Finns's journals with envy as they're telling it's snowing...So I'll do it, too, so someone has the chance to get annoyed just kidding. But I did enjoy walking to school with the ground all white...and, very unlikely of me, I also loved having snow in my hair, jeans's hems, shoes and scarf! I'll still have plenty of time to get fed up with the snow (though it's probably going to melt a few times...) until March...

It's biiiggg (well for some people it may not be, being only 32 inch...but for me, it is!!!) and I played all my Square games's endings (well as for X-2 I didn't since you can watch the scenes anyway with new game plus.) and it was...amazing. The television in my room which I use for games, is something like...12 inch? I don't know.) Wheeee I loved it.

As you can see, I didn't have anything real to say...10 minutes left until we'll have to get back to the regular class...I wonder if we're going to have tests as our teacher said...If we do, wish me luck

7. Now that I was talking about that synthesizer, I started to practice the later part of Final Fantasy X's Ending Theme (the Yuna's speech part) with it. It's actually more difficult than the rest!

8. I'm a bit stuck in my Shadow Hearts...well not stuck....I should just level-up my characters a bit...there's this annoying boss. I'll see when I have time.

But. I´m in a good mood (I said that last time didn´t I) but now I`m in an even better mood because...well because. I just happen to be. Even though it´s Monday (Monday isn´t the actual problem to me...Tuesday is the day that sucks...........)

Agrh I did again. I said the day I meant to write a journal I could keep until I´ll have something to say. So I`m going to stick around with this until then.

I haven´t got a lot time to even think about deviations since I´ve had lots of other projects to do...And that´s also part of the reason I´m so happy Not that I didn´t have to pay much attention about here but that I´ve been very productive with those other things. And I`m finally getting further with my FF12 I´ve been stuck two times already...I don´t like those riddle thingys in Final Fantasy...(cloisters of trials were a real pain when I played FFX...it took a long, long time to figure it out.) but they´re fun when you learn to do them...the sad thing is that I had to condescend to look for a hint in the internet...I still regret that. But I know I wouldn´t have figured it out myself (it was in Stilshrine of Miriam if someone knows the place)

Um...to think that I said I didn´t have anything to write this ended up quite long...So, I´ll stop now. Time for breakfast (it´s 8:26 A.M. in Finland )

Nothing special today...got a bunch of deviations unfinished or unsatisfying...will do something about them too right when I have time. But I´ve been having mood lately. Life is so unfair. But, but, but, soon it´ll be easter and I´ll have few extra days of holiday ^^

Weeeelll, during the last moth, I have done some work...though I hate a half of them now. Sigh. I´ll add everything I dare.

The next thing: I got tagged an eternity ago.

The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things/hates about yourself" and people who get tagged MUST write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things/hates as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose
the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their devpage comments and tell them to read yours...

Here we go:

1) I hate people repeating the same things. My friend always does and i always remind her "you said that before" or "that´s the fifth time you say that" But, knowing me, I probably do it myself without knowing.

2) I always have to move my hands. I snap my fingers, clap my hands or just move around. My friends find this very annoying (sorry )

3) I like the word weirdo. I use it even when I speak Finnish. I should stop using it. But I won´t, because I`m, well...weirdo.

4) I like laughing weird. "The evil laugh" is fun. (if you don´t know what is is, then imagine: "BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!")

5) My jeans´s hems are...ruined. Completely frayed and ripped. About 3 centimetres shorter than they would be if they were entire. My mom says I should get new jeans. And I know it. But I like these. Too bad, mommy.

6) I´ve always wanted to sign in the internet with a wrong identity. It would be fun to think that people think I´m something completely diefferent from what I am in reality. But I never dare, for some reason. And mind you: here in da, I SPEAK THE TRUTH. (besides, there are my friends here, too, who know me outside da, so they would start to wonder... )

Then there´s Kingdom Hearts too, but that´s a different story (love it too )
Well, the thing now is, that the moment me, my friends (and many other Europeans?) have desperately awaited (at least I did) FINAL FANTASY XII HAS COME TO US!!!!!!!!!! I bought it on Friday, and since then, I´ve been in a different world........
Everything´s just so great in that game. It´s new, and you can see there´s really made rough changes, but good changes! The new battle system works great though I was a bit aloof about it. The story also is interesting, though it´s REALLY different from before. The graphics are lovely. I just can´t imagine how will FFXIII look, since it´ll be on PS3! The licence and gambit systems are great! Everything´s great! I just can´t stop complimenting it!!
...I like Fran, for some reason (no, it is NOT because of her suspicious clothing or bunny ears...!) there´s something funny about her...her voice and I keep her as the team leader all the time I´ll be making her black mage/archery...

Though, I can´t play as much as I wanted (beside my health ) because I must do the religion project. And that yearbook cover too. And I´ll be going to Helsinki (capital of Finland, if someone did´nt already know that...) which, though, is good, because maybe I can find some good music or manga there since the shops are bigger...

...my computer is still down...
...and I´ll do that tag. I started it yesterday but couldn´t finish it. Sorry

Over 10 minutes long, includes 3 parts: Long, Lost Love; One More Night to Live and Christabel. I love it.

Ghost Love Score (Nightwish)
Also 10 minutes. If you listen, do listen it until the end. It´s that kind of song you can listen 20 times and still find something new from it. This, and Beauty of the Beast are some of my definite favourites from Nightwish.

-listen to music (sometimes when I think "this needs stronger feeling" , I listen to that kind of music and it usually wokrs!)
-sing, hum or at least make weird sounds to the music (my parents find it very annoying)
-whistle (though I actually can´t whistle. Everyone hates my whistiling- and I do it anyway)
-look for theme songs to my drawings (almost every picture has at least one)
-make up a story for the picture (these might be very long.....)
-make lyrics (...or more like ideas to lyrics. Most of my songs begin with a drawing that made the idea pop up in my mind or with a single phrase or a word I want to use)
-watch TV (it´s fun if you don´t have to WATCH the program but more like LISTEN to it.)

...overall, I´m a very annoying person while I´m drawing......

One was unrepairably (is that how you spell it?) damaged in an accident.... And one (not a fanart one) is just sketched. But it´ll probably take more time, because I´m trying a new technique. We´ll see how it´s going to work.
Overall, everything´s going quite well. Soon it´ll be weekend again and I can draw more...But the week after next is the "TET-week". I don´t know what is it in English, but we have asked around for a "job" for that week. It can be almost anywhere, but I´m in library. Then we do there something that is included to working there and write a diary about our experiences. I hope that explained it at least a little.
