so i finally got sick of seeing that stupid advertisement stuck in the middle of my gallery so i caved and bought a subscription...

anyway i havent really been updating a whole lot... been really busy with work and hanging out with my friends. I have alot of sketches and half finished drawings its just a matter of being able to find the time to get on my computer to finish them. Im hping i'll be able to finsih one that ive been working on by the end of this week at least...

well, tony said he'd help me move my computer desk and stuff into my bedroom so i would be able to use it to draw and finish up old pics, we just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. i'm getting antsy because I have 2(maybe more) half finished drawings that i'm ready to get done and upload, so hopefully it wont be too much longer before that happens.

also, it looks promising that i'll be able to move to a new apartment in december. as long as things go according to plan, i'll be living at a much more affordable place, so i'll be able to get internet and get on here more often again to check out everybodys uploads and post more stuff of my own. until then, i can only check here when i'm at my moms house.

i'm not gonna be able to upload anything for...a while. for one, i can't use the internet at my apartment anymore(long story)...and for two, my computer's not plugged in at the moment anyway, cause i just got a kitten and didnt want him messing with my chords so i moved the computer into my bedroom and just havent set it back up again... but so yeah, it might be a while. I'm plannign on moving in a couple of months and i Will have the internet at my new place and I'll be setting up my computer in my bedroom at my new apartment so then i'll be able to finish drawings i started, and then upload them too... lol just didnt want anyone to think i forgot about this place.

yeah so the scanner i have now is a big steaming pile of crap, so i'm considering buying a new one. if i'm able to get my hands on a good one, i might start uploading my traditional media stuff. alot of times i like my sketches alot better than my finished stuff, but i can't upload them because i'm not able to get a quality scan of them... but so anyway, yeah that might be happening. the reason i started thinking about it, is because last month when i went on vacation, I took alot of pictures with one of those disposable cameras. well when I took the camera to CVS to get my film developed, i told them i wanted a copy of the pics put on a CD...the lady said they couldn't do it at that store, but that she'd tell them not to cut my film so that i could have it put on a cd at the other store... she even wrote on there "DO NOT CUT FILM"... and of course, they did it anyway. so i'm pissed as hell because i can't get it put on a disk now, and since the scanner i currently has turns everything i scan to garbage, i got about 20 pictures i cant do anything with....... so....... anyway enough of my ranting, the whole point is you might be seeing some new uploads from me pretty soon if i go ahead and buy a new scanner.

well, i had an idea to do a comic type thing, but i dont have enough time to work on something like that...(or the attention span)... however, i've been working on getting rid of old files from my harddrive and have run into Alot of unfinished works, and stuff that i dont like anymore, so im sorta playing aorund with fixing up older pieces, and finishing ones that i never finished earlier... i made a couple changes to a piece i did back in 2003, and i wanted to update it on here...unfortunately, said piece is in my deviation storage and DA isnt letting anyone access their storage at the moment...so, idk when i'll be able to reupload that one but oh well. when i actually finish some of the older halfcompleted images, i'm probably gonna upload them to my scraps section, so keep an eye on that if your interested.

blah...well, its not really an artblock exactly, but i just cant really make anything worth uploading. i dont have nearly as much time to get on my computer as i used to, so when i draw, its uuslaly scribbling on the back of old scripts at my job... which makes me happy. i dont really got the energy that i used to have, to put everything i got into my drawings anymore, so i feel like if i uplaod some halfassed stuff just for the sake of uploading, i'd be jipping you guys as well as myself... so, thats pretty much why i havent really been too active on here.

all i ever want to draw now is just cheap little doodles or really simple portraits...after that i tend to lose interest and stop whatever it is i'm working on... plus i havent really wanted to draw any other characters except for my own, so, thats not too exciting for all of you...

...so, the ohter day me and john had to do a story on the Special Olympics Torch Run. basically, there were like 3 Special Olympics kids, that would be running this marathon thing with our local policemen. They would be starting in the middle of my city,a nd then running to the cityline, and passing the torch off to the Chester Police, who would then carry it to hte next city's policemen, and so forth.

well, we got footage of them starting the race, then would drive up ahead and stop a few times to get more footage, then eventaully we drove up to the Chester county line, so we could get video of them passing the torch off to their policemen. At this point in the marathon, the special olympics kids had stopped running, so the guy they were with, drove them to the city line, where me and john were. Since we still had about 15 minutes before the police would be making it to the line, me and john started interviewing the special olympics kids for our story. we interview the first girl, then start talking to the next guy, when i hear a truck roll up behind me.

we stop the interview and look over, and he starts telling us were on private property and we had to leave. (We're on the side of the road, and theres a small abandoned building beside us... Kurwood Chapel, one of hte Chester County Councilmen, lives in this area, and owns alot of the land...so actually, where we were, was probably owned by him...and weve donealot of interviews with him and he likes us, so if we'd thought about it, we probably could have called him and gotten him to get this guy to leave us alone)...

well, john and the guy who was driving the kids, tell him "Ok, we'll just move onto the right-of-way and do the interview" since that wouldnt Be on the property, when this guy starts yelling telling us we can't do that either, and that he was going to call the police. at this point, john about loses it, and goes "WELL CALL TEH POLICE AND HAVE THEM ARREST ME THEN" so, i start recording thinking if theres gonna be a fight, we might need evidence this dude started it, lol. so, the guy then goes to john "You got a real smart mouth!" and im getting scared he was gonna start saying racial stuff infront of the speical olympics kids and what not, and i thought john was gonna try to fight this guy or something so i go "Whatever!, the police will be here in 5 minutes!, they're right down the road, thats who we were waiting for!!!" and the kids start laughing and the guy looks pissed the hell off, and then we turn around and continue on with the interviews. he drives away yelling that he *is* going to call the police.

well a couple minutes later, channel 9 rolls up and we tell them about what had just happened, and then right after that, the police come jogging across teh line. lol i was mad that htey werent there when that guy was there, cause then we coulda laughed at his stupid ass.

either way, we got all our interviews and video and the story turned out pretty cool, so all's well that ends well... i will say this though, i dont look forawrd to having to go back out to chester any time soon.

so yesterday me and dianne ahd to do a story at Gold Hill Middle school. WELL, as we were attempting to find our way back to the main office to leave, some girl comes up to dianne is like "can i have your autograph?" it caught diane by surprise so she's like "Ok" and starts signing thsi girl's paper. well i thought it was funny as hell, so i grabbed my camera and start recording, when the next thing we know, a huge swarm of pre-teens comes flooding into the hall wanting autographs, and im just laughing cause theyre like bombarding diane, and THEN they start swarming me too askign for MY autograph and im like "Wth?" cause i think half of them didnt even know who Diane was, and i know they sure as heck didnt know who I was, so it was hillarious, because they just kept comign and we couldnt escape. i ended up grabbing my stuff, and went running down the hall thinking diane would follow, but this group of boys was like surrounding her, and she got mad that i ditched her, lol. it was funny though, cause this one kid said to her "My name's Landon... will you go with me to the Spring Fest?" & this other kid was like "My friend likes you, will you give him a kiss?" and im just busting out laughing cause they were like half her age, it was so great.

yeah...

got in my first ever accident today, and it was while i was driving one of our company cars... it sucked, especially since our policy is that we gotta get the damage on tape for insurance reasons, so, there i was, recording my own accident. it was kinda wierd since im used to having to record other people's wrecks. im just glad that none of the other newsscrews came out to do a story on it. it woulda sucked majorly. me, my reporter, and the lady we hit are all okay though, and the insurance is gonna cover it...still sucked though. u.u

well, i've been working at cn2 for a month now... i've had some crazy times so far. the other week i got to shoot my first press conference... got laughed at by the other journalists cause i didnt have a mic-stand so i used my shoe as one. the channel 9 guy helped me out though, by wedging my mic inbetween his and WRHI's, so i didnt have to use the shoe.


also today was pretty crazy. my station manager got pissed at me cause i busted my tripod and laughed when i was telling him about it. i honestly thought he was gonna think it was funny too... when it happeened, i started to record josh as he tried to put it back togehter. ahh good times. but anyways, so yeah, its been an adventure. gonna try to draw some stuff and upload it this weekend.

so my job's been interesting... i've done alot of dumb stuff, and i hate it when my work isnt up to my own standards, but im still learning... so, i know its gonna take longer than 3 weeks before im good and stuff...but im Alot better than i was when i started, so that makes me happy.

met alot of interesting people so far.... for the most part, people around the city are nice to our crew, just because we're the city's newsteam, unlike the guys that come down from the charlotte stations.... but, iv'e ran into a few scarry people that i hope i dont run into again... me and josh ahd to do a story on a robbery that happened downtown, and when we went to shoot the location, this one guy comes up getting huffy about how we're making his neighborhood look bad... im thinking "um, *we're* not making your neighborhood look bad... all the drug dealers and prostitutes are..."

also got to shoot an interview with john spratt the other day.... hes some politician or something that's supposed important... but i'm not into all that so it wasnt really a big deal... oh and during it, an old person like hit me, so it made my camera shake, and i almost started to laugh...and since it was during the middle of the interview, i couldnt turn around and do anything... so it kinda pissed me off, cause when you watch the tape, you can see my shot shake REally bad when they bumped me or whatever, but its okay, cause we didnt end up using that part anyway.

oh ya, and me and dianne got hit on by this one dude when we were doing a story on a homeless shelter... diane was trying to step back into the car without stepping in this mudpuddle we parked next to, and the guy starts saying all this stuff to us, and said he'd get down on the ground and she could walk on him!! it was really funny, and i like jumped into the car so she had to talk to him with out me, haha.

well, just finished my first *full* week of work. its been crazy... i've done alot of stupid stuff, and bob pearse doesn't hesitate to tell me it infront of everyone... frank, one of the photographers, got mad when bob called me out during one of the shows...but i was like "Its a'ight. i got yelled at, at WBTV too before so im used to it"... and plus i like it when he points out whats wrong, cause then i know what not to do next time, so its cool. yesterday me and josh, one of the reporters, were in York interviewing one of the sheriffs... well, i was having problems with my audio... my camera was making this sound that sounded like a hissing cat, and i didnt know why... well, josh of course wouldnt know why since he never uses the camera, and the Sheriff definetly wouldnt, so i looked around and saw the Channel 9 guys were also there setting up for a live-shot. well, i grabbed my camera and ran over and knocked on their truck's window and was like "Ummm...can you take a look at this for me?" so john, their photographer, looked and said it was picking up signals from somewhere else(probably their truck) but that it should be fine once i turn on my mic and it should only pick up the interviewee's voice...and it did, so yay... guess its gonna take a while before i learn all the tricks of the trade, but im having fun, and doing my best.

ah man, its been one hell of a long week. i started my new job on monday. its alotta work, but i think im gonna enjoy it there. today was awesome. i got to go on a shoot by myself today to get footage of 2 Bi-Los that somebody stole alot of money from. and then, WBTV called us saying they wanted to cover the same story and asked if we had video for it, and so they sent up the stuff i shot!, so that was cool cause it aired on CN2 and wbtv.

anyways, with all this going on, ive been extremely busy. gotta get used to the new schedule. got tomorrow off, but then ill be at foodlion on sunday, then the week will start over again. i decided to stay at foodlion just so id be able to keep seeing myf riends there...but idk how long ill be able to handle 6 days a week, every week.

christmas went pretty good this year. hung out with the relatives on christmas eve, then on christmas me, mom & my sister went to church, then later my dad came over and cooked us all prime rib.

this week is my last full week at foodlion. i'll be starting CN2 in january, and then for a while i'll still be working at foodlion on sundays. not because i need the extra money, just cause i want to continue getting to see my freidns there. idk how long i'll stay there too though...just cause working 40 hours at cn2, then an extra day at foodlion will probably get kind of old... plus tony usually only gets sundays off, so i know i'll want to start getting to spend that day with him since i wont have days off during the week.

but idk. ive gotten pretty used to drawing with a mouse so i'll probably stick with that. christmas is getting closer and im trying to get all my shopping done in time. it sucks how you cant even enjoy teh holidays anymore because you're so rushed with trying to get presents bought. i used to love christmas...now its just depressing. on one station here they started playing christmas music the day after halloween. its so commercialized now. anyway, i was also planning on getting new tires, but i think im gonna have to wait for that a while. my brakes have been squealing so i'll probably have to have them fixed before anything else. *joy*

dunno what im gonna do about a job. for now im staying with foodlion since its close... but not sure what im gonna do for the long run. i wasnt happy at WBTV but now im worried that might have been my only chance. i keep pissing around so i ihavent gotten my resume tape done, so i cant apply to any other stations yet. i want to be a news-photographer but i havent gotten to shoot anything in like 3 months so im worried i'll be all rusty if i ever do get a job doing it. so idk what im gonna do. im gonna talk to the director at ETV and see if he'll let me fool around with the equipment. he said i could come in and practice tape-editing so im gonna have to do that, since thats what CN2 uses and if by some miraculous chance i get a job with them, id have to be able to do it. anyways, thats about it for now.

anyways, thanksgiving was fun. ate alot, so thats always good. me and tony started putting up the outside christmas lights. later im probably gonna put up the tree. somehow i talked my mom into buying a fake White one this year, since weve never had a white one and i thought itd be funny. yes.

had to work the night before thanksgiving. it was busy as hell, not that i was expecting otherwise. im gonna see if i can get christmas eve off. i worked it last year and by the time the store closed, i was in a very un-jolly mood, so i dont want that to happen again this year.

anyways, i've noticed alot of people have been adding "Corsette Piercings" to their characters... might just be me, but that makes me kinda sick. i've already had an eyebrow ring get ripped out before, but the thought of having multiple piercings tied together and having one, then the next, then the next, and so forth get ripped out just by pulling on a string makes me wanna hurl. but then again, i've never understood most of the trends these days so whatever.


the director at ETV where i work on fridays said in a couple of months they're gonna be having a photographer position open up, and he said he'd see if they'd let me have it. i really hope so, cause thats what i want to do. editing at WBTV wasnt too bad, but i'd much rather be out on shoots. til then, got a couple small projects im working on to add to my resuem tape but thats about it.

damn my birthday is wednesday and i got to work 1:45-10 that day. thats gonna suck, but i have tuesday off so i guess i can celebrate then. on thursday and friday im going with ETV to cover some thing up in charlotte called "Charlotte Shout" or something. idk what i'll be doing. i think steve said i'd be running cables, but he made it sound like i'd get payed for it, so i guess thats cool.

on saturday ~hollyberee is throwing a party for me and ~EvilSexyCutie so that should be fun. im glad they gave me that day off. a month ago i requested wed-saturday off so i could have my b-day off, then the days for charlote shout, then for hollys party. i guess working my birthday is alright as logn as i get the other days off.

damn man. i need insurance. i havent been covered in about 2 months and i know one of these days im gonan get really sick or get in a wreck and need to go the hospital and i'll be damned if i'd be able to afford that crap out of pocket. i called Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC and their estimate for me came out to about $200 a month, just for me, and i sure as heck cant afford that, so idk what im gonna do. oh well

i feel good today... yesterday was fun. me and tony baked a cake. lmao, ive never baked anyting in my life. ahahaha... it turned out pretty good too.

ive been thinking about buying a pet or something. i've had like 4 hamsters before, and they would all bite...so im wondering if mice and rats bite as much as they do, or not. any of you know from experience of owning one?

we were walking around the pestore yesterday checking out everything, and i was looking at the parakeets and started to laugh. iv'e had 2 of htem during my life. my last one, Green Tree, died last year and i had gotten him in 4th grade.... i was beginning to think he would never die. i think he's haunting me though, because sometimes even now a year after he's been gone, i'll be sitting there and start thinking i'm hearing his chattering and i'll have to remind myself its not really him doing it. *freaky*

sooooooo bored. york tech students go back this week, and i wish i had signed up for more classes cause i dont have anything to do.

i had sent a resume to NBC6 applying for an internship. they wrote me back saying they're reviewing it and if they're "interested" in me they'll contact me in 2-3 weeks for an interview. here's hoping i get it, cause they do paid internships and such.

Hmmm...well, since i've been so busy, i havent had alot of time to draw, so in t he times that i do have a chance to get something done, its usually personal art, so i've gotten kind of behind as far as things i owe people, but school's done, and my internship is done, so i should have some extra time to finish this stuff up.

now that im done with the other stuff, i have to start working more at foodlion again to try to get some money. while im doing that, im gonna start sending out my resume to different places to try to get a photography job. Bob Pearse(the station manager/anchor at CN2) said that as soon as they get a position open, that i would be the first person he would call, so that makes me happy, because i really had a fun time working there.

anywhos, once i see how busy things get w/in the next couple of weeks, im probably gonna start taking comissions. im gonna go really cheap, like $5 for a digital pic. you gotta admit, that beats the hell out of ~huskie666's prices.

Well dang... i have one more class left, and 2 more days of my internship left. i dont really know what i'm going to do next... Im hoping to get a job at CN2 when my internship ends. dont know if i will, but here's hoping. Also, i've been getting really frustrated with foodlion...im thinking of quitting, but im trying to hold out until i get a NEW job...quitting before having something else lined up is never a good idea.

anyways...nothing else interesting has really been going on. we might be going 2 the warped tour in august, but i dunno.

tony dislocated his shoulder again today... *curses the shoulder*... damn thing needs to stay in the socket.

well, about a week ago a little girl went missing in my area. they sent out an Amber Alert for her, and all the big stations around here were covering it. WELL, when cn2 got the news that the police were doing a search for her, it was only me and one photographer there at the time, so it was US that got to go cover it. we did a really good story on it, and i got to interview one of the neighbors. unfortunately, they foudn the little girl, and she had died in the lake, so we didnt get to run our story since it was basically about how the family hoped the little girl would be returned safely. so that sucked, but it was even worse she died. i felt really bad, and i was glad i wasnt there when they found her because i probably would have started crying.

hm. im thinking of giving dinamo an extra fur-marking of some sort. something really simple though. im thinking along the lines of a white paw. see, everybody else on here has really elaborate characters with all sorts of colors and markings and stuff. me, i kept dinamo simple because when i do animations of her, its a WHOLE lot easier to draw all thsoe frames without having to worry about extra crap. anyways, more info on that later i guess.

i had a lousy day at work, so i didnt feel like coming straight home afterwards(cause i didnt want to hear my mom nag me about my room being messy)... i just drove out in the country...and i mean waaay out there... i just kept going... i thought i was heading towards chester but i ended up making a giant loop and ended up in York... anyways...

i was happily minding my own business and enjoying the scenery, when i noticed these 3 bitches in a black honda wouldn't get off my ass. i was already going 10 over the speedlimit, so i wasn't going to go any faster to make them happy. since it was a no-passing zone they didnt go around me. well, they stayed right up on me for like the next 5 miles until they were allowed to pass, then they zipped right past me. i rolled my eyes, but shrugged it off, deciding they weren't worth me getting annoyed.

WELL, about 10 minutes later, i could see the same dooshbags up ahead stuck behind a truck that was going really slow. Well something inside me must have snapped because i put the pedal to the metal and started going about 90 to catch back up with them. ha. i ended up right behind them, and started doing the same thing they were doing to me, and since they were stuck behind the truck, they weren't goin' ANYWHERE!... hahahah. so for about the next 20 minutes it was the truck(who was going about 10 UNDER the speed limit) them right behind him, and ME right on THEIR ass!...hahahaha payback's a bitch and that bitch's name is MIA... at one point, the driver of the honda looked in her mirror and kind of made a "AH SHEET!" expression when she saw it was me,,,hahaha. i just laughed boy. finally, they ended up turning off onto a sidestreet and t he guy in the truck started going faster(apparently he was going slow to make them mad, hahaha cause he looked in his mirror and kinda waved at me) it was so awesome. so, to any of you who've had somebody piss you off while you were driving, well, i(And the truckdriver) got a tiny bit of payback for you.
