I fucking love my new apartment and this city and woahhh everything went perfect.

Well, except that my TV broke. But my parents bought me a NEW ONE as an early birthday present because "WELL ONE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT TV, RIGHT." Ahhh I now owe them my life.

.. also the guys who were supposed to plug me with delicious internet screwed up (of course) and I won't get a connection till next monday. Which sucks because I had BIG TEGAKI PLANS for this week plus. I'm an IRC addict. :| Screw you guys for being cool.

I'm at the library now (at least London taught me to ask for directions so this was easy to find even without google maps), so I'll head home to cry now. Or play Fallout, I haven't decided yet.

TUESDAY EDIT: Fuck this, still no net. They sent me a text saying everything is up and running now but I COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK so I had to phone some dude who now phones other dudes who will hopefully fix it soon.
But I'm leaving for five days tomorrow so I won't be back till the 31st (which also happens to me MAH BIRTHDAY durhuruhurhrdhn) anyway.

Woahh I've been without internet almost the entire month of August.

I bet the TF2 dudes have forgotten all about me SOB SOB SOB.

Oh and yeah, I came back from London alive. Didn't get robbed, stabbed or beaten up either. I'm seriously surprised, my life is pretty much amazing right now, so I braced myself for something HORRIBLE to happen lol.
.. there's still almost three weeks before school starts though, so I'll have plenty of time to get into accidents or have someone cut my arms off or something. WE'LL SEE. 8)

So anyway, the trip was amazing and we had a great time. I drew absolutely nothing during the 10 days I was away, which kind of sucks.
And I'd like to end this journal spam by apologizing to everyone who's waiting for a drawing, comment or entry from me or who's birthday I've COMPLETELY IGNORED. That would be like.. ten people, wow. I suck and have no excuses. If it's any consolation I think about the stuff I owe to you guys EVERY DAY. AND BOW MY HEAD IN SHAME. Hopefully I'll make up for it soon. And not six months from now, come on, self.

I've said "cheers" TWICE. SO COOL.

We've done lots of stuff like seen amazing stand-up (we got picked on a lot when they found out we came all the way from Finland, it was great) and improv and a musical. We've even been to a couple museums.
YES YAZ we went to an ART GALLERY, are you happy now. >:I And don't pretend like you're not reading this, I know you are.

And damnit dagnabbit, Gosh Comics was too good. I spent about 70 pounds there, EHH.

And forget the 9th, I won't be back home till Tuesday the 11th. Gonna see the premiere of Mary Poppins (yeah, shut up) once we return to Finland. My sister's a make-up artist for it so she got us free tickets. And since we're conveniently around Helsinki at the time anyway, why the hell not. Free theatre.

That means I'll have two days less time to pack all my earthly belongings to boxes and bags for Saturday's move but I think I'll manage.

So what's up?

LIFE IS PRETTY AWESOME FOR ME RIGHT NOW. I got into a sweet music theatre school, so I finally know what I'm going to do for the next four years or so. I'm gonna move to southern Finland in the beginning of next month if everything goes peachy.
But right now I still have about two months of holiday left, so I'm just.. going to do absolutely nothing. Play video games and draw. Ice cream and strawberries, coffee and watermelon. I fucking love summer.

I thought I'd get all angsty over turning eighteen, but right now I'm just excited. Sure, it's the icky-sounding age of a legal adult, but you'll get to rent all the horror movies you want, go to different gigs and concerts and visit bars (the quiet and cozy ones, please), buy your own drinks for the sauna (one of the rare places where alcohol actually tastes good) and.. well- that's about it. THERE ARE TAXES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TOO BUT SHH I'M TRYING TO KEEP STRESS AWAY. D8

What's helpful is that pretty much all of my friends and buddies from school and hobbies are older than me. SO THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE TO COMPARE YOURSELF TO AND FEEL YOUNG AND SILKY SMOOTH AGAIN, AHAHAHHA- what.
