I got access to Adobe Indesign and I realized that some of the entries I have recieved are under 8.5x11 inches. Although they are 300 dpi, they still will not resize well, making the quality of the image go bad (like milk? I dunno how to phrase it).

Does anyone know if you can resize 300dpi images to 8.5x11 inches so that they look good? If not, I need to get the following people to resize their entries and send them to me:

He just came out with a new album and i wanna get it. His music is pretty good seeing that he pretty much does everything himself. The quality isn't astounding or anything since it's basically a guitar, drummachine and keyboard(?) but the tunes and overall sound is very catchy and I love it so much!

A reminder about the FM Transfer zine project! Donations make a difference for whether the zine is a xeroxed little sucker with card stock covering or a pro-looking zine. We're going to try and go for about 20 copies for the convention, probably more if they do well or not. So far we have 50 bucks! Thanks to those who have donated!

1.)Black and White only.

2.)Postcard-sized would be preferred, but we can just change the image size in photoshop, so I guess anything goes, size-wise.

3.)PG-13, please. This is a "family-friendly" convention, and, even though pornography is allowed to be sold in Sakuracon's Artist Alley, we would like to be able to sell to the general public.

4.)Your submission can be anywhere from 1-3 pages.

5.)Both original and fan-works are allowed.

6.)IT HAS TO BE AWESOME.

Whoah there, Charlie Brown, we have a big list of contributers. Since it's gonna be a simple zine, it probably will be about 20 pages or so. 1-3 pages per person would be freaking awesome. Some can be art if you don't want to do a comic (I dunno, like 1, 2 or 3 people could do art. Its still a comics zine).

Also, be a dude and donate money to me if you want to add a comic, or even if not. I'd appreciate it if me and

could get some back-up money for printing. Even if not, whatev i'll figure something out.

RULES BLABLABLA
FM Transfer is a small publication featuring comic/manga shorts by artist attendees of SakuraCon. It is open to the general public, and there are no artist prequisites (aka, we aren't going to turn you down depending on the quality/skill level of your art, we only ask that you do your best.) Last year, there were only three participants: =appletrees, ~burgertime, and myself. This year, we hope to get a few more artists.

The rules are simple:

1.)Black and White only.

2.)Postcard-sized would be preferred, but we can just change the image size in photoshop, so I guess anything goes, size-wise.

3.)PG-13, please. This is a "family-friendly" convention, and, even though pornography is allowed to be sold in Sakuracon's Artist Alley, we would like to be able to sell to the general public.

4.)Your submission can be anywhere from 1-3 pages.

5.)Both original and fan-works are allowed.

6.)IT HAS TO BE AWESOME.

All profits from it go toward getting better quality for it next year (lol, maybe a colour cover, haha!)

If you are interested in being in Rising Stars of Awesome, drop either of us a note.

DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 10th, FYI.
