Ok I finally got a message back from the helpdesk today regarding the problems I've been having with submissions. It turns out that the cause of all the issues is with the Ad Muncher program that I have been using. I turned off all the filters for DeviantART and the submission worked perfectly.

So, if you use Ad Muncher and you've had the same issues as me, try filtering DeviantART out.

I'm so relieved. It would have been quite sad to leave here. Now I don't have to :)

As you will have probably noticed from my previous journal entries, I've been having tremendous trouble trying to submit my photos on DA. I haven't managed to submit anything without major difficulties since the middle of November. As a paid customer, I am NOT happy :(

As a result of these difficulties, I will no longer be submitting anything here (basically because the site won't let me!) I will also be letting my paid account expire, and I don't know if that will have an effect on my prints store, but I'm hoping to set something up on my own website in the near future anyway.

I will still be leaving this account open as I still want to see all your beautiful deviations and comment on them. However, unless DA changes it submission page or somehow makes it work properly, you won't see any more photos from me here. I will also be closing my stock account.

So I can't use Mozilla Firefox now to use deviantart? This sucks! What kind of website doesn't cater for Mozilla Firefox browsers when it's one of the most popular browsers around?

What browser DOES work with this site, because my Internet Explorer sure doesn't work with it either!

Is anybody else having problems with submitting deviations via the new submission setup (particularly in Mozilla Firefox)? I've tried in both Firefox AND Internet Explorer and neither will let me upload my images.

I can't add any deviations to my favourites either.

This afternoon I came to log onto DA like I usually do. I just expected a few messages and some deviations in my devwatch. However, I opened up my account to find 10 times as many messages than I usually would (90% of which were favourites). I also notice that I've had about 200 pageviews today, which is more than I usually get in a month.

I am utterly perplexed as to why I've suddenly got all this attention. Not that I mind at all, but it would be nice to know where it came from. As far as I'm aware I haven't got a Daily Deviation or anything like that. If someone has plugged me in their journal or something, I would appreciated it if said person could let me know so I can give them credit :)

In the meantime, thank you everyone for all the lovely comments and the :+fav:s and the :+devwatch:s. It's much appreciated :)

A few months ago the display screen on my camera broke. I have no idea how as I always look after it well and I do not remember dropping it or anything like that. Anyway, although the screen is broken and I can't see any of the pictures or menus, it still takes the photos and they're fine when I transfer them to my computer. However, recently I've noticed that the quality isn't nearly as high as it was, so I'm going to have to send it back for repairs (or they might just have to send me a replacement). I take my camera pretty much everywhere with me, so I'm going to be lost without it. :(
