UPDATE: I am still looking for work, but at least the unemployment checks have started to show up only took 9 weeks. Apparently, if you see a job and have most of what they list that is not good enough anymore, they want everything they list and more. Even then, no guarantees as to getting an interview.

Cashed in my retirement so we do not find ourselves in foreclosure, this will hold us over for another six months. Though now I will have to work until retirement age

So far my rejection rate is 30% so at least I am handling rejection well after all the optimist in me says, "That means they are looking at your resume' and application."

I draw rarely and have done some things for some people when I can but not posted them as they are gifts for them to post if they want too.

I have missed the daily contact and hope all is well with each and everyone of you.

Be it known I am in the mood to do some coloring. So I will dig out some line-art that others have agreed to let me color and flood you with it later.

If you have line-art and want it colored, let me know as I will color most any.

Likewise, if you have a picture you want me to lay some color on, I am willing to do that too.

Two weeks ago today, I lost my job...
Last Monday, my wife was in a major accident which totaled her car...
Today I am staying in the house, not going near anything or doing anything...

Oh yes, here we are a week of free everything and mine is almost gone, so in memory of what once was because of the generosity of others this is how I used to roll.

Tempt me sweet demon make my blood thrill

Writing my words and spilling my text

Yes you read that right, pain free now for over an hour!

What a thing to learn about that there is physical therapy for pain and they can help ease it!

Even a massage did not work, but what they did sure worked. I know it will come back but it has been great to not have it for a time.

Thank you one and all for you kindness and friendships, they lift me up!

Return of the Eggman?

I have returned my friends and couple of watchers.

I wish I could say the pain in my shoulder and neck were gone, but why lie? So I am going to see a doctor about it after all a whole month of pain is all I can take.

There will be pictures going up soon and thank you for all the comments and continued support, not sure I deserve it but I sure to appreciate it.

Had a nasty pain in my neck and shoulders, it was stress, no amount of massaging or other treatments worked thus the quote I have shared with you. I was being way to hard on myself and that meant I could not help others.

Height of Summer

Change is in the air, it is the constant of living and it gives us an endless capacity to flex our minds, talents and love.

As you can see, I have broken out the old cheap camera and allowed it to capture moments that fill my days. The wonders of people, gatherings and quiet places. It has caused me to reflect and shake my head.

There will be a poem coming out of me from this, but I refuse to allow it to breathe just yet.

Some of you I am sure have checked out my stock account and seen more of what I gave a sampling to here.

Yes, the picture below in the web cam is one I see each and every day and love it.

my stock account will now be where I maintain links to other stock accounts and will watch from. The only stock accounts I will watch from this account will be my friends stock accounts.
