I just got a pay pal account. Yay! lol Uhm.. my boyfriend is becoming more of a manager. Because of him I have this gig to create some graphics for a web site (back to web design sigh lol), I'm thinking of creating some pieces for his cousin to see if she would be interested in my art for her album cover(s), and of course his friend wants a portrait of his girl. With the help of 2 great friends, I've been inspired and directed to some awesome resources to help me with buckling down on business. My Om Shanti Om fan art is transforming to a shirt project. Hopefully that goes out awesome. And If I get done in time with the web graphics, I do plan on finishing Mahreen's portrait and a new dev ID. Besides that everything is going along fine. Still working and that's going good, found more relatives from dad's side and who knows where the next traveling adventure takes place. lol Till then...

Back in Florida and not loving the heat. lol I did come back with ideas for a few projects and took tons of reference photos. I absolutely love the city and would love to go back. I visited Philly and Manhattan, checked out Hershey, and had a blast while staying in Reading. And I really enjoyed staying with the family, which I've never met before this trip. The weather was gorgeous and mosquito free... Sigh... I have to get out of Florida. XD lmao I want a PS3 so I can enjoy Blue Ray movies. Tomorrow I go back to work so today I've been enjoying my Terminator geek fest. My boyfriend lent me his ps3 so I can watch all Terminator movies and the Sarah Conner chronicles in Hi-def blue ray baby. lol Well, I'm off to continue my geek fest, edit my thousands of photos, and work on my story.

Something to keep me sane and help me succeed. Well for today, I do have some errands to do and some chores to finish. I also got a whole new set of Gaia commissions to start. lol If I keep this up, hopefully I'll be able to turn those Gaia commissions to real paying ones. Cross your fingers.

I'm going crazy with stuff that I need and want to do. So! A list as you will of what I want done and started today.

I have a few projects going. First off, I'm trying to finish a couple of pieces (such as the alice and enchantress from disney). I also have some Gaia commissions under my belt right now. The doujinshi is still in the works, and reading up on my sister's story so I can do some illustrations for that. Not to mention, I'm thinking up of a story for myself. I'm not that great at writing, but I just have to many ideas swarming in my head for characters (since like ever) that I just have to put them to use. I'm also trying to come up with some concepts for shirts and badges to turn in to Jacon. I hope that goes well. And I also have another plain white shirt that I'll be doodling up soon. Gots a 3 month subscription. Now I want to customize my journal and page with CSS. Starting a couple of projects on paper to then later scan them once I get my laptop. That way I don't have to constantly bug my sister to use her's. lol I finished the Harry Potter shirt which came out ok. I have a beter idea of exactly how I want it and by coincidence I found another plain shirt in my laundry. So another one will be made. Yup. So now I'm on the look out for contests on top of that. Yup. My dulce says he is giving me a lap top. Yay! We are just waiting on the charger. Soooo excited!!! Now my computer won't even let me log on. =_= Ugh. I really need to get that damn cd/dvd drive so my friend can fix it. Besides that, I really need to make extra money. Which leads back to that lovely Cafepress that I opened up but never posted anything. >.> Yeah. That will change. I walked around Magic Kingdom by myself before my shift and discovered many things that I never noticed before. I even found face characters that I've never seen in all the times I've played at the parks (Aladdin and Jasmine, Peter Pan, Fairy Godmother). Doin' that more often. lol As soon as I get a chance I want to post some things up (hopefully) and get things rolling.

Yup, still. Ugh. I got promoted at work. Good stuff good stuff. So now I'll be at Magic Kingdom more often. My car likes to heat up everyone now and then on the days that I'm doing errands. Not good. =_= Ugh. Gotta get that fixed. And I now realized there are quite a lot of movies that I need to purchase and add to my collection. Well damn. lol Speaking of movies, I just finished watching "The Pixar Story" and it was amazing! Yeah. Sigh, one day I'll be working at the Disney or Pixar animation studio. One day. Anywho! I want a subscription, really badly. Well till the next time I can bum a comp from someone or my comp decides to work for a few minutes. lol

Overdue Update

My computer is still down. Right now I'm doing a quick update at another friend's place. To all those who sent me notes, I'll get to you as soon as I can. Really sorry about the delay. I just need a CD/DVD Drive then my computer can get fixed. Now on to the Update!

Work has been doing good. Within the year (Feb. is my 1 year anniversary) I was able to work at all locations except for Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. I would say that's quite an achievement.

When it comes to artwork, I haven't been doing an all to good of a job with posting anything. Although I do have some doodles and pieces around my chaotic bedroom, and not to mention the command center is down for maintnance; hopefully everything will be up to date ASAP.

Now for the personal. Family is good, dramatic as always. My grandmother (dad's side) passed away in the beginning of the year, but my dad is doing well. My car is still running beautifully. And things have been going really well between me and Dulce (surprisingly). There are some interesting obsticles that will be arising within these next 2 years. Because his mom likes me the rest of his family has approved of me. The next step is meeting them (nervous break down? lol) And of course the talk of our future has brought up certain inquiries that will need to be figured out. But of course I love him and I know everything will work out.

Money is being put aside for a lovely trip to Chicago for either this year or next. And of course my classes will start again for the Summer semester. Besides that, just doin' what I do and livin' it day by day.

P House and Monthly update

Well it's been a month since I've updated. My so called car troubles was a loose battery that will no longer be a problem. And this past month has been very busy. I was able to finish 6 pieces for the 50/50 Art Auction at the Parliament House. Unfortunately I didn't sell any, but I did get a lot of compliments on them. But no worries, I'm looking forward to the next one and have ideas brewing in my head. Besides the auction we had a lot of fun dancing and watching amateur strippers. Oh, and dancing with a belly dancer and getting my tarot cards read was definitely a part of the evening.

On to other things. Things have been really rocky between me and my boyfriend. So rocky that we even broke up. But after a conversation and a sincerer apology, we got back together and gave the relationship another chance. And things have been great ever since.

What else? Well, I finished Angels and Demons, Guilty Pleasures, and that's all that I can think of right now...... Oh, I took pictures of the P House pieces and I will be posting that up as soon as I can. Which leads me to another thing. My computer is down for the moment. Sucks I know. I'm actually using my friends computer. So Hopefully I'll get my computer up and running soon so I can post some more art.

Well, got some ideas jotted down for P House art and one started. I also got the Pinkitude piece started, but no ideas come to mind for the Holiday Card Project or the XMas character design. I was able to take some reference pics of Jen for Within Temptation piece, still not finished with Wise, and Danny's pics of SCL inspired me to do a piece that I'm not able to start yet because I'm busy with everything else. Busy busy! Of course I've been keeping myself busy to keep my mind off of things, which I don't mind. I need to do art anyways Hopefully things work out for my mom at her work. Well, on to art.

I'm very happy. Obama won, his speech gave me goose bumps. And I was even happier that I celebrated with great people. It was awesome to see Florida go blue, a bummer that Oklahoma went red, and upsetting that amendment 2 was voted yes.

Another note I can't find my zune. I'm upset because I have no music to listen to while I drive (no car radio), it was pretty and green, and it was a gift from my dulce on our first christmas. I can't seem to find it anywhere and I'm praying it didn't fell out into the street or where someone else could find it and keep for themselves.

Well, all the halloween events are over within EYF. I have accomplished my goal to work all 3 (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Halloween Horror Nights, and Spooktacular) and it's only been almost 9 months working there. Next goal? California and Japan, which ever comes first. There will be an art party at the P House next month, so for now I'm focused on getting some pieces done to auction off. I already have some themes and ideas brewing up in my imagination and I'm hoping the execution is just as good or better. Wish me luck!

Wow, it's been over a month since I've updated last. But no worries! I'm still here, working my butt off to get bills paid off and to get things done. I believe it's time for an update.

Work has been going great. I've been working Mickey Not So Scary Gigs and Halloween Horror Nights a lot these past couple of weeks. I'm not complaining, I just like the money I'm raking in. I'm also going to be working Spooktacular (Sea World) and I also got the opportunity to get a gig at Sea World. Can't wait. My speed has improved a lot, and my monster faces are just starting to look decent. lol I'm still slow at monster faces though. =/

Let's see, family. Oh man this is good. Well, my mother got a restraining order on my dad, she has the divorce papers ready, the dates scheduled for the sheriff to deliver them to my dad, and might have my sister testify as a witness. To what you might ask? Well my father being the drama queen that he is, my father has said some not so smart remarks to my sisters that has made me and my mother livid. My mother labeled it as verbal and mental abuse and that's what one of my sisters will testify to witnessing. What is my father doing, I have absolutely no freaking clue. Seriously, I don't get my brains from his side of the family. lol

Relationship wise, pretty good. We've been together for a year now and I finally have met his mother. lol Considering that I've heard nothing but drama when it comes to her, I'm really glad that she likes me. We do have our ups and downs, sometimes big downs. lol But thankfully we both have the maturity to talk an issue over and learn to forgive and forget and move on. Then we are all cuddly within the next hour.

Now comes the Art. Considering that I've been working a lot and a lot of late nights, it has been hard to keep my art flow consistent. So thank you Danny for talking me out of getting someone committed for a commission. I'm still sticking to designing merch, I do have a cafe press up and all I need to do is get stuff professionally finished and up. It's also hard to keep up with my daily sketch blog. I'm not giving up though. I have to keep going and get back on the horse, because man my work load is only going to get bigger when Christmas comes around. I will be getting as much overtime as I can. The doujinshi is getting there. Brit still has to see the first page and we both have to go over some more concepts I've done. I gotta get some color in there for the concepts though. And to for my fan base to grow, I'm also looking out for contests and trying my hardest to finish something to enter it. I couldn't enter a contest in time because of work. Damn it. I'm still hopeful and persistent. If I'm not, who will be.

Seriously, with everything that is going on I'm glad that I don't have school for the fall. I know spring break is going to be busy with overtime, but at least that's all spring break has. So, my main school schedule will be spring and summer terms only. I'm excited to go back to school this coming spring. Well guys, I'm off. I have a Gig that I'm scheduled for tonight. Laters!

Firstly, I won't be open for commissions anytime soon. As in a few days soon. Fall is coming up and that's a busy season for EYF, so I'll be super busy with amazing overtime. Not to mention Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!!!!! That's right, I got it! I'm so freakin' excited! lol Anywho, my Universal orientation is this Wednesday and I start Saturday. I'm so excited that they are starting me off at the arcade location, so I'll be near the marvel characters. It's one of my favorite locations. My steampunk piece that was going along schedule, he he he, I had a new idea for a better composition. So I started all over. So I have that project and the doujinshi taking up my time right about now. I have opened up a sketch blog to keep my art juices flowing, to sketch at least a page or two a day. It's [link], go visit. And of course I haven't forgotten about my Alice Project so she'll be up and running soon.

On to some other interesting announcements. As much as I love Ringling and how much of an amazing school it is, I have come to a conclusion that my path isn't through Ringling College of Art and Design. At least not right now. I'm 22 and I should almost be done with school, but only near the center of it. Considering all my bills, it would be tough to support myself and trying to go to school fulltime. And not to mention, every person that has graduated Ringling is still doing nothing. As much as I love my job at EYF, I still would prefer an animation career over face painting for the rest of my life. I'm truly scared that I would become even more in debt with school loans and having nothing to show for it. So I've thought long and hard about an alternate rout (because art is still my goal), and I'm finally announcing it. I'm going to stay with Valencia (unfortunately) and graduate with my Associates in Studio and Fine Arts to have that illustration side taken care of, then get in to Animation Mentor. I was planning to go there after Ringling because a teacher of mine recommended it so much (and I have been keeping my eye on that school), but I figured why not after Valencia. I would have my illustration and animation for half the cost, if not a quarter of it. Plus I can stay here until I finish my schooling, still be employed by EYF and have everything taken care of. Then off to California!! Alright kiddies I gots to go and take a bit of a road trip to universal today.

Been You tubin' speed paintings and it has given me a bit of inspiration. Went to Coliseum of Comics and BAM and am so thankful to brit who bought me the second Hush and Mugen Spiral. Yay! She liked the concepts of a character for our doujinshi, and we have made some decisions about the first page. Since I think it looks a bit to... crowded and looks like there's no room for text. Unfortunately I won't be able to go to AFO, BUT me and brit are already making plans and arrangements for Mega-Con and Jacon of next year! Yup, going all 3 days for both cons! So anyone wants to come, let met know. I'm even thinking of checking in at a near hotel to save gas and to give my baby Mustang a rest from all that driving back and forth.

I'm excited about going to work in Universal Studios!! Cross your fingers that I get to work Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, since it starts next month. Also, that first commission for a year subscription is still open. Note me so we can talk business.

Only 6 more days left till my subscription ends. T_T This makes me sad. If any one is willing to donate me a subscription I'll paint ya a pretty picture! My first commission shall be a subscription. And since I digital paint mostly, it will be a high res file. Unless you would like traditional media then it would be a high quality copy. I say this, because I would like to keep my originals for portfolio purposes.

Been working on shirt designs and finished coloring the first one. I've made a decision to try digital inking and it's a pain in the butt. e_e I haven't given up yet. So I'm gonna keep at it until I get the lines right. >.> Oh yes, the doujinshi. I have been very vague about the doujinshi as to what it is and exactly where i'm at in the project. You still won't get to know as to what kind of yaoi doujinshi it is, but I'm about to pencil the first "test page" if you will. I haven't fully drew out concepts yet, but we both feel if we pencil this first page it would help us with how much she should write and help me improve layouts and such.

That's all I will update for now. I gotta get ready and head to work.

I hear nothing but amazing things about Ringling. EVERYTHING! Even job placement and the companies that goes to Ringling to recruit artists. But why is he a caricature artist? And why is he a face painting manager at AK? Also why are those other face painters having hard times looking for jobs that involves what they love to do and/or ends up doing something completely different?

I'm not having second thoughts about that school. I'm still going. That school is one of my ultimate goals in my education. And as my good friend Jen has stated "If they are successful after graduating Ringling, you are not going to find them here in a booth painting faces or drawing caricatures." Which leads me to my next step in this "research" of mine.

Well a lot has been going through my mind lately. First off, I found out Ollie Johnston has died recently. He passed away on April 14th... He will be missed. I also found out that one of my favorite artists just turned in her portfolio to Disney. I wish her the best of luck.

Well, after I finally got to talk to students and professors of Ringling and to hear their positive critiques ("you should have no problem getting in") it took a load off my back. It gave me the confidence to continue forward with my art and to turn it in. But that's only half the battle. What about after college? Job placement? I planned on Animation Mentors after Ringling, you are getting thought by pros in the industry on character animation... I want character animation. But will I? Or will I be lucky to get straight into a studio of my choice? Which leads to another question.

What studio do I want? When people ask me what do I want to do 2 questions comes right out, I'll talk about the second one later. "What studio are you interested in?" Wow, that's a toughie. I looooooove Disney Feature Animation. I also love Pixar, Dreamworks, and Weta Digital. Not to mention Blue Sky is definately making a name for themselves (I have been keeping an eye on them) and Sony Pictures Imageworks has done Open Season which was really impressive and unfortunately I haven't seen Surf's Up. So, I don't know. I always thought I would work for Disney. I mean out of all these studios here Disney and Dreamworks are the only studios who has done traditional animation (which is what I originally wanted to do and if I get that chance to get on the band wagon I'm jumping for it). Dreamworks has done great with Sinbad and Road to Eldorado. You would ask "Why not disney?" Well.... I've heard some not so great things about working for Disney as an animator (or as anything... I used to be a cast member and I hear constant complaints), but I never had a problem. But I also didn't have to depend on the money either...

the second question, or the first usually, is "An animator? You know it's really hard to get a job as an animator right?" Wow, thanks for bringing my moral down a bit. Sigh I never know what to say to this question. Ringling has great job placement, and when I say great every student has mentioned to me how amazing it is. A student was telling me her friend got in to Weta Digital. I freaked. It's Weta Digital for Christ's sake! But I haven't talked to those who were unsuccessful.... maybe there isn't any.

I do know this, if Bri-Chan doesn't get in to Disney I'll be shattered. She's an amazing artist and I look up to her very much. If she can't get in... how will I? And that's to say if I even stick with animation. I've talked to so many students who have switched from animation to illustration. Hell, I have a coworker who doesn't want to do animation anymore wants to stick to story boarding. What if that happens to me? Then I would have to start from square one. Because I know nothing beyond animation. I'll definately be lost for sure.

Maybe I'm jumping too much a head of time, but it never hurts to think of the future. I have to get into Ringling and I'm positive that's where I need to go. Whether its my destiny to stick with animation or if life throws me a curve ball and I change to illustration Ringling is still the college for me. So I'll keep my focus on that goal for now, but my eye does wander a bit to "What about after?"

B: It's still a comic so drawing characters in scenery is a must and good practice
C: Why Yaoi? It's a growing market and I see it everywhere. (e.e and that's all Brit writes)
D: Meaning if it gains popularity, we could make profit off of it.
E: Why Doujinshi? Well, Brit knows her craft best and suggested that route... plus it might sell better. lol

What kind of Doujinshi? I'm going to surprise you. We talked more into detail yesterday and have come to a conclusion on some things. So I'm going to cook up some concepts of the characters and interiors and will post them when I decided to give you the surprise. Me and Brit are so excited about this! She will be starting the writing process soon. So hopefully it won't be long until I start to post the inked pages.

Besides that project, I'm still thinking of what story to use for that animated short. Brit made a few suggestions which I'll be thinking about. Besides that, I'm sketching away and will be posting some fan art. I also have inking to do on one of the "Daily Junkies" on my list. All this and I still haven't unpacked. lol Laters!

Besides my networking and getting portfolio reviews, I had a blast trying on corsets, drooling over merch that I couldn't buy, and taking photos of a lot of cosplayers. I bought a few mangas and one thing I do regret not buying are art books. I also didn't get Greg Horn's autograph. =/ But besides that I had a blast. Haseeb also got to see the geekier side of me and he says he's going to surprise me with something tomorrow. I have to work but he will be going back to Mega-Con tomorrow with Jon. Today was awesome, inspiring, and definitely fueled my drive. And it's true what Orlando said, "all you have to do now is make a book."

So here's the plan. I'm going full force into my work but taking in the advice I got and pump out lots of work. I want to start selling prints, shirts, and art books and do freelance and commission work. I also have plans to work on a story/get with someone and collaborate on a story/ go the disney way and "borrow" a story and go from there and stoart on concepts, storyboards, the works and see if I can create my own animated short of the kind. I also want to the same but towards a comic. Next year for whatever con (I want to shoot for mega con but we will have to see if me going to japan next year in march will happen) I want to have my own booth and start selling. I just have to remember 3 more things from what artists said to me these past 2 days:

"You are almost there, so close you can taste it."
"Next time when I see you, I want to see these things improved and I want to see you selling your stuff and making a name for yourself."
"Always remember to have a 'taste' for your art and remember where you are coming from. Always study the 'lineage' of one's art."

And of course:
"So I'll see you on campus real soon."

Well, I just finished moving. Thanks to Haseeb, Muneeb, Chris, my uncle and 2 cousins for letting us use their manly muscles and strength. lol The place is smaller then the house (dur) but it's a nice place with a nice view. Me and Haseeb were talking about how I can finally paint plein air since I have a good view of the sky and the lake and since we are on the second floor I have a nice little porch. Yesterday was also my yummy Haseeb's birthday. And I couldn't get him anything so I'm hoping to surprise him with a little something next saturday. He also met my whole family. And so far everyone loves him. My aunt even made a comment that jazmin should leave her boyfriend and go for Muneeb to keep in the family. lol My mother side is crazy.

Well, besides that as you can see I finally finished 2 projects that I thought would never get done. The Werewolf and Mermaid. Which I'm really proud of because they are both in some way out of my element and out of my comfort zone. I also worked on the interface for my Web Site and I got that rolling. Work is going amazingly well that I stepped down from my third key position and for now am just a GA. v.v yup, I guess I can work those discounts for a little bit longer. Well, gtg. I have work, and I'm actually excited to work! lol

Omg! My first day at Magic Kingdom Yesterday was A-Mazing! I got compliments left and right from the other artists and from my manager Rebecca. She she used to room with Yamil and she freaked when I told her I know Andre and Yamil. She even went to Japan and gave advice as to how to become one of the employees to be considered for the opportunity. What's better, is that she's a fellow artist. All these employees are. I love the fact that I'm in an art related field. Everyone complimented me on my FlutterFly (which I hated in training lol). Rebecca loved my line work, and colors (I wasn't a fan of my sponge work. =/), and one of the girls couldn't believe how good I was because she noticed all the faces that were coming from my chair. On top of that, she asked rebecca, "Is she staying long? She better because she's really good!" =O I couldn't believe it! Such good feed back! ^^ I'm waiting for a horrible day... >.> It just can't be that good. lol And I'm loving my manager, she's amazing! I'm so excited about this job!

Now the other side of the spectrum, Erin gave me a call and supposedly Danny will be giving me an ultimatum. Gamestop or Enjoy your Face. Now let me think for a quick second... an artistic job in the orlando theme parks (mainly Disney which everyone know how I get about Disney) where I meet other artists, I can network, and insane opportunities await for me (such as working in Japan and/or Hollywood where all expenses are paid for including the plane ticket to and from) or a dead end job in merchandise where people are sneaky and I don't like the DM.... >.> idk, i'd have to think about this one. lmao! XD Duh! Of course I'm going to pick Enjoy your Face. I mean c'mon, Japan!? Who in there right mind will pass that up? Oh well, Gamestop was fun with the one and only Puerto Rican sensation.

Grrr! Still busy with packing, and on top of that I didn't get to work on the mega-con drawings since saturday. Must get to it! lol I'm also thinking of a surprise for my Dulce on his birthday. Especially since he's helping us move on his birthday. Hopefully I'll have time.... Well, I'm off to have a Magical Day at work.

Work at Enjoy your Face has been going amazingly well! Just finished my training and I'll be starting Magic Kingdom next week. I'm really proud of myself and I can tell that I'll be growing in this field of "art". Many opportunities and people has labeled me as "talented." Holly and Cynthia has been giving me compliments, along with the other girls I have been training with, and noticed my personal mermaid design. I'm so excited as to what I can accomplish in this company!

I haven't continued with my Vampire or Mermaid since I last updated. I have scanned up some of my recent drawings like I said I would. One of the digital paintings wasn't going so good so I scratched that and haven't started all over yet. Not to mention, if you have noticed, I deleted the CSS and will be making my own... hopefully soon.

Why all the holds on projects after I've been doing so well with keeping things rolling? Well, I'm moving March first and the little time I do have I have to pack. My father already left us and is living on his own, oddly contacting me everyday... >.> Yep, finally moving somewhere closer to civilization. And maybe this time, maybe it's serious. Me and my sister along with my friend Brit, have been contemplating this for a while after we noticed that my father threw away his highly prized and most precious possession. His German Bar. I came home one night and saw it out in the front with the other garbage. And why, he doesn't want to pay storage. So who knows. Maybe it's for real this time. I'm tired of moving and I'm tired of listening to the same crap. So we shall see.

After we move and settle down Mega-Con is that next weekend. I'm really excited about that one. Yup I'll be going both friday and saturday and since I have very little money to spend I'll be spending most of my time in the Artist Alley networking and making contacts and connections. I'll be sketching up a few things and doodling so I can bring with me those 2 days and I'll be packed and prepared with art materials and other things to make my visit worth while. What I do want to purchase before I head over there is the Pro comic book. Amanda Conner is going to be there and I'm super pumped!! Well that's it for now, I have some errands to do and get started on that packing. Yuck. lol Toodles

Besides that having Bri-Chan, Chamba, and Loish as a constant inspiration a lot of disney fan art and sketches has been popping up recently. I would say Bri-Chan definitely has had a huge impact because I'm inspired to paint my own pair of shoes (of course little mermaid themed X3) and taking my own character pictures to use them for character sketches, and animated sketches. It would definitely be of use in the future. Well, I'm off! Toodles!

Well, life has definitely been difficult these past few months. Which is the reason why I've been gone for a while. Lets see, the drama with the ex boyfriend is finally over. I've moved on and just so happened to find a guy who treats me well and that I can say truly loves me as much as I love him. Our relationship really does represent "Perfect Love and Perfect Trust" and I'm loving every second of it. The move was hectic to only find out that my parents are splitting again and so me along with my sisters and mother will be moving back into kissimmee. Â¬_Â¬ whatever. I finally got a car, and not just any car. Oh no, one of my dream cars. A mustang convertible in a nice pretty shine red. And because of the car and the move I have been looking for another job and I just found one! Oh yesh, I just got hired as a face painter for all the theme parks in Orlando FL. I'm so excited! Working as a face painter full time and having Gamestop working around that schedule I'm gong to be a busy girl. After a while I'll be stepping down from a third key to a regular GA when I go back to school. Yesh, this year I'm going back to school and working full force on my art. I have set goals and so far I've been doing really well checking things off my list and accomplishing everything. So get ready to see some of my stuff back on here. Because ideas a brewing in my head and unfinished projects are back in progress.

Life's hittin' hard...

It's funny how I plan to do something productive or to finally get a move on things, something always happens. Well, these past 3 months is where the most has happened. First I found out I have an enlarged liver (liver enzymes are elevated which means it's sending toxins to my blood) and after a few too many doctor's visits and tubes of blood drawn they only have an idea of the reason why and they still have no idea of the cause. My sister might need a kidney transplant and of course still need to run more tests. But thankfully we just found out that tumor on my mother's spine isn't cancer. With my engine blown on my car and looking for a new job (plus another car before I move in 2 months), about 5 days ago my boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me. Yeah, as if that isn't hard to deal with either let life throw that one too. But of course with support from my friends, I'm trying to get back up, and to get myself organized all over again. But it's a little hard looking over at a lot of things. Maybe wishing certain things never happened, or saying certain things that maybe things wouldn't be like they are right now. Wondering where in god's name did all these medical problems came from. And if I did some things differently or have taken care of things sooner that other certain things could have been dealt with. Of course with confusion, negative thoughts, self doubt, and those damn "what ifs" drowning me so fast and frequent it's kind of hard to get back on the horse. But of course, I need to keep my head clear. Remind myself the positive in everything and to walk forward and take with me the important things. I have most definitely learned a lot of things in the past 3 years and in these past 3 months. I only hope I can use this valuable information to my benefit and best interest, including others who do come my way. You know what they say, "It's better to love and lost then to have never loved at all," and "Only time heals a broken heart."

Update...

The whole situation with my assistant manager and his girlfriend/my friend has been cleared. She's back with him but I think they're not "together"... I don't exactly know but I do know that she's finally standing her ground and is able to think for herself. I wish her luck with that new job (whichever place hires... I hope they hire her) and for an independent future. He's still working with us, unfortunately last Saturday morning everyone received news that his father died that morning (what a week for him!). So this past week with him gone (it was supposed to be his vacation... some vacation) me and my store manager has been working up a storm. I'm tired, I'm cranky but I got 40 hours this week. That's the good thing. The bad thing is all that money will be sucked out of me as fast as I can say Pay day! Why? My stupid stupid stupid car! Monday I walk out of my house to take Brittany to work (my friend who is living with me for the moment) and my car is bleeding oil. Lots of it! A stupid issue between the mechanic and my mother which lead me to depend on my mother for rides and her getting a new car yesterday (good bye ford focus hello toyota corolla). I got my car from the mechanics yesterday, but what my mother payed them to fix they still couldn't fix it. This sucks monkey ass!!! >.< There's a lot of things that I have to re-evaluate in my life. A lot of things. Well, later.

He pretty much called our, yes I said our, boss and says he might as well look for another assistant manager (which might go to me) and kept calling me on my cell, at work, my boyfriend, some co-workers from next door, and our boss to ask where she and the child was and he wanted to apologize. If your significant other was everything you wanted in a person, why would you still hurt them? Not physically, and not to the extreme of cheating, but have made some stupid decisions that would make the significant other question the relationship and start to change to a not so perfect significant other. It wasn't a deliberate change, nothing changed after a night's sleep. But change that gradually took place where one would ask, "Why is it that I'm the one who needs to change because everything that I'm doing is wrong when I used to be the perfect cool girlfriend that he's always wanted and still ended up getting hurt when I didn't do anything wrong?" That is my question for the day. Answers in comments or if you need to note me, I would greatly appreciate it.

On a lighter note, my parents have offered Brittany to stay with us as long as it takes to get her back on her feet with only $150 for rent. Which means that we are all probably moving to Poinciana. Ugh, that place is so far away! Hopefully I'll be able to save for a new car. My car will soon die on me... hopefully not on the turnpike. I also hope I'll have enough money for Mega-Con. I really hope this year will be good!

Another year is here...

This past year has been very interesting. A lot of things has happened, changes, sacrifices, you name it. Especially between me and Juan. Yesterday only concluded a really rocky year for me and Juan. A lot of problems with one specific ex, suspected infidelity, trust issues, you name it. A lot of changes within myself and with us. A lot of sacrifices on my part, most that were intentional some that weren't and I only realized it a little too late. I used to be a person that didn't believe in regrets, or never had any to begin with. But I also used to be a person who was afraid to experience life, the one who would rather stay in her room in which to dream about traveling the world but somehow never considered to actually do it or never see it really happen. You could also imagine me as the type of person to put people before me... well, mostly one person, Juan. So inevitably these past 2 years into the relationship, especially 2006 my focus was on the relationship, if he was happy, constantly worried about him and the next time I'm going to get hurt, regreting past mistakes and regreting that I allowed myself to get hurt in the first place. As much as I want to say this year it's going to be different, I don't know wether it is or not. But I will say this, I'll experience life to the fullest, forget all past regrets, and worry about ME. Because no one is going to take care of me but myself. Who else is going to make my dreams come true? Who else will experience them when they do? No one. That is what I have to keep in mind, that is what I have to realize, and that is what I need to live by. I want reall success for this year. Not little baby steps that soon get me no where and in a direction that was the complete opposite of what I wanted. I want to see my effort go somewhere. I want to be the person that see's an opportunity and gets it. The type of person that if I want something, it will be mine. I'm grabbing my life by the horns, and i'm not letting go until I'm satified. That, is my New Year's resolution for 2007.

Looks who's back!

Well, well, well. Look who's back. Seems like I've fallen off the face of the earth in the past few months. Damn working, figuring out some stuff, going through other stuff, and wearing myself out... and of course still have no time for rest. Christmas went by smoothly. My baby bought me a Wii, Legend of Zelda, and the Da Vinci Code movie gift set (yes, with the cryptex)! He sooo surprised me with the Da vinci code. I bought him The Zune, and the look on his face was priceless. It still puts a smile on my face. Other then that, got a few mangas, Okami, Paper Mario, and a few other gifts. Christmas this year was good.

Finally finished going through all my messages and deviations that has been there since.... july? yup, july. There were a lot of messages. O.O Anywho! I'm trying to transfer to Ringling. Everyone please wish me luck. My family is also trying to move to Ponciana (Noooooo!), which really sucks. -_- I believe that is all the updates that's happening in my life.... other then that, I really hope I'll be able to post some work here. Especially finish these art projects. Toodles!

Things have changed. The past has finally rested. It doesn't haunt me anymore. I'm finally left at peace. What wonders can honesty can make a slight missinterpretation. What amazing light it brings to a dark and broken heart. I feel rejuvinated. I feel uplifted. I feel incredibly stupid for doubting, but at the same time so weightless. My heart isn't heavy anymore. I'm finally free from this painful past. Free at last!

Now it's time to move on with life, and enjoy every moment! Especially with my "new understanding" of what happened and exactly where everyone stands! Yup! Oh, and just to stop any misinterpritations, me and Juan are still happily together! Sept. 13 was our 2 1/2 years of being together, and it was a lot of fun hanging out at the Orlando Library and riding a swan together at the lake! Tee Hee! School is finally on break! I believe I didn't do so well in 3D modeling due to the fact that I have a horrible computer now. *sigh* Now I need to find a way to get my computer ASAP! Especially with Animation class coming... can't mess that one up. I refuse it! Yup, other then that everything is all find and dandy. Getting more money this next pay check... hopefully since last paycheck was very depresing. And pretty much doing what I love to do!
